Our carver was Ian and our server was Angela and both gave us amazing service! Ian was super friendly and we had a good laugh whilst he was sorting out our food. Angela’s service was top notch, she was so friendly and kind! We 100% recommend to anyone

A good, quick and easy mid-week option when I don’t fancy cooking. Angela our server was amazing as always and is a great credit to the team. Can’t fault the meat served, but think we arrived during a quiet spot so some of the veggie dishes were ready for replacing.

Took our son for his birthday meal...Toby Edenthorpe is his favourite place for a Carvery. He's the only person I know who can manage a pudding after a large carvery!!...always Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake. Very welcoming, very efficient friendly staff, the ambience was nice and the food excellent. Our server Angela was very friendly and informative, as it was our first time at this Toby Carvery, but it won’t be our last.

The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because Donna was amazing with us!! If Donna didn’t wait on us I’d of give 1 star. The food was all dry and looked like it was from the day before. I wouldn’t mind but I stood inline and was left to wait till the cook came out 3 times to look at the food and stuff YET he still left the mash out that when you picked it up it fell of like lumps of powder. Everything was either chewy or hard. I wouldn’t come back. But thanks to Donna for being a great person in general. :)

Great service Freya was amazing with my allergens and went above and beyond to get separate gravy and sauce from the kitchen to help me avoid cross contamination. Freya also helped me know what was on ‘the deck’ so I knew what I could eat and what would be better to avoid. Food was lovely and enjoyed the visit. Service was excellent so thank you for making the visit easy to navigate

The staff were really great. It was a birthday meal, family travelling 100 miles to meet in the middle. As such the staff went beyond expectation to make it a true celebration. They decorated a side room for us and we had a great time. It would be good if Toby Carvery were to give the premises some attention eg a hand drier and a tap not working in ladies WC while Staff were doing what they could to get maintenance in. Thank you to Freya for being a charming server.

Had a fantastic, generous carvery and desert with our family. We reserved on line, which we would recommend. The whole team is attentive and well organized, particularly Tracy who looked after us extremely well. Despite the large numbers of customers, the individual booths provide a cosy, private and quiet place to relax

Food was fantastic as always. Lots of choice and you can eat as many veg as you want. Angela our server was freindly and helpful. Even better if you have vouchers to use.

Julie took care of us today. Was a fast and friendly service. Food was nice and hot. We went for my son's 13th birthday. Julie brought out the cake we brought along with candles and sung happy birthday (candles wasn't lit but my son still loved it) we all really enjoyed it. Thank you Julie and rest of the staff. Very disappointed. We both had the carvery which was poor. Although it advertised turkey, beef, pork, gammon and lamb there was no lamb or beef and no apology for the lack of them. The pork was very fatty. The roast potatoes were hard and overcooked. There were n o parsnips. The main problem was that the food was only warm. Definitely not value for money.

Went for Sunday lunch on 14th April the food was lovely and our server Angela went above and beyond to make sure everything was OK (even my 12 year old son commented on how nice and helpful she was 😀) the only issue we had was people queuing for the carvery at side of our table, felt like everyone was watching us eat but it did go down pretty quickly. Will definitely be visiting again.

My sister and I have a carvery here most Mondays as we love the range of meat and vegetables. It is warm and welcoming and absolutely consistent, The meat is always cooked to perfection, it is great to help yourself to vegetables, sauces and gravy, and the Yorkshires are perfect. We don't need to book and the service is excellent, the staff so friendly and efficient especially Angela who we have come to know well over the years. There are offers too on food and drinks, more if you sign up for the app.

After finishing some shopping, my pregnant partner mentioned that she needed roast potatoes and so we popped into Tony Carvery at Edenthorpe. Despite not booking a table, we were shown to a nice window table and told Gina would be our waitress. Shortly after sitting down, Gina asked us for a drinks order and enquired as to if we had any allergies which I do. She returned promptly with the allergy data, smiling throughout. As it was our first visit she showed my partner where the refillable machine was for the soft drinks and guided us to the carvery section. Great selection of meat available; pork, gammon, turkey, beef and lamb. I had beef and lamb while my mrs had turkey and beef. Gina came back to the table and checked how the food was and whether we needed any more refreshments. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. Gina was a great waitress, very helpful and attentive whilst always smiling.

Had pre booked and was seen to a table slightly early. Was clean and tidy. Angela our waitress was very good. One of our party needed gluten free food and Anglea got us freshly cooked vegetables and gravy from the kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she polite and friendly. The guy serving the food was very friendly and helpful.

Angela was really helpful, recommended what to have ect, we all enjoyed a carvery, my 86 year old father ate it all - unheard of. The meat was delicious and lots of vegetables to choose from. Definitely will return

Went with a couple of friends for a carvery. I just love their roast potatoes. Didn't have to wait for a table, which was lucky . We were met by a lovely staff member blond hair. Shown us to our table, asked about allergies, if we had any. Explained that we can go for our carvery when we were ready. And then took our drinks order.
