Toast Coffee Bar in Wirral

I booked the Oak for Mother's Day. They had a special menu which we pre-orderer two courses from. My mum and I both had Salmon and it was stunning. Desserts were chocolate brownie and ice cream sundae and they were delicious. We were told by the staff that their brownie was award winning and it's easy to see why! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely local venue with great food!

Went for lunch today, food came out very quick after ordering from table on scanning app, the chips were not cooked properly & very pale & the food wasn’t very hot, it was the worst place I’ve eaten in & will never go back to! The service was bad as when I mentioned the chips to the guy taking the plates away he said ‘sorry about that’ & walked away, absolutely disgusting service!! I would never recommend this place to anyone!

A good pub for a quiet drink and no hustle and bustle the only thing they let anyone in people who think they own Birkenhead and try and start trouble with you if your not from Birkenhead or the area so be careful .... THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST PINT IN BIRKENHEAD

The black pudding starter was on a crumpet that wasn’t toasted. I don’t mean lightly, I mean cold and straight out of the packet, floppy, soft and totally untoasted. This was a shame because the atmosphere was great. My Mrs had the calamari which was outstanding. My fish was devoid of any flavour.

I wish they had better and more seating indoors. Their coffee bags take a lot of space where there should be tables and chairs
