Tiffins in Guildford

Food arrived 1 hour late. Usually the quality is great however this time it was overcooked, cold and the portions much smaller than usual. I requested money back but my request was refused. Very disappointing from Tiffins. I will now think twice about returning.

Very disappointed again. Curry tub half filled again. Won't be back.

I ordered the lamb biriyani and got half a container of vegetable curry with little to no vegetables and lots of oil instead. I have taken a photo but can’t seem to add it to my review. The biriyani rice itself had very few pieces of lamb. Very disappointed

Very poor, lamb was chewy and the Pathia was watery and not very flavoursome.

Takeaway. Naan missing a few weeks ago. Last night our tubs of curry were half full. That's absolutely taking the pee. We won't be back. If you are cutting back on food you are cutting back on custom so it's a lose lose.

Food arrived 40 minutes late and most of the food was cold

We love Tiffins :) just wish they would give free Poppadoms with the orders, most other places do. But their food is the nicest around here so we still keep coming back anyway

Food was WAYYYYY to spicy! Wasn’t able to eat it. Very disappointed!

The butter chicken is meant to be mild however this was far too spicy to the point I couldn’t eat it. I order the butter chicken regularly for the sole reason it is mild and today was completely different to how it normally is

Not great .. lacked in flavour and chicken chatt was more bread than chicken and nearly £1 for a spoonful of onion salad .. worth a try but won’t be back

But The lamb korma is really spicy

No poppadom in my set meal delivered which was disappointing - flavoursome food but very oily.

Very poor did contact them, for a reason for the delay and poor quality, but had no response, so will never order from them again

The food today was so bad! This is my favourite indian take away place so it pains me when the portions are so small and the prawns puri had no taste whatsoever. Its a great place but if this continues i will have to stop ordering from here. :(

Frequently order from Tiffins as its normally great, however whenever it's late the quality drops. This time burned bindi bhaji and overly sweet watery veg curry with the biriani.

Ordered two butter chickens using Deliveroo. Food arrived on time and warm but both the garlic naan and butter chicken were so bland I had to salt it myself. If I wanted below average Indian food at home I’d just make it myself. I used to order from Tiffins all the time and the food was excellent. This will be the last time I eat food made at Tiffins.

Everything was super yummy besides from the butter chicken. It was too sweet for my liking and it didn’t have any tomatoes :(

In the last few orders the size of the food has got a lot smaller so not so good value but the food is good

Chicken was dry and stringy and very little sauce

We ordered and paid additionally for Papadam but it was not there in the order we received.

Gotta say Ive been disappointed by the last 3 Indians I've had recently from our area. This was yet another. The Madras that came was unbelievably watery, never ever had a "curry" like it before. Chicken was also tough and chewy hinting that it was fairly old. Naans lacked filling (Peshwari) and all I could taste was flour. Indian is usually my favorite but looks like I wont be having one again for a long while now

Food is always brilliant but always late

Normally great, tonight's tandoori king prawn not at all. They were soft and not tasting of prawns, decided not to eat them. Very disappointing.

I ordered a chicken tandoor Bhuna. It tasted like an English stew. There was no taste or chilli/heat. It was very disappointing. The same with the aloo gobI. Potato’s and cauliflower mixed together with no sauce, taste or spice. The keema rice was very dry.I will not order again.

Came here for a Christmas meet up with friends. Great service, tasty food at reasonable prices and a great selection of dishes available Seems like bad experiences with delivery companies might be skewing their ratings, but from my experience it’s an excellent place to go for a curry

Whilst my delivery was early. Food was cold and the chicken was really dry. However, I cannot fault the delivery time as it was delivered 5 mins early. As I live on the outskirts of Guildford in a small village it’s hard to get a delivery with any company

Food was amazing! Was still hot when it got here and they even let us edit our order when I phoned to add bits! only thing was we where missing our drink but the food was superb!

We ordered here because it was the only affordable Indian takeaway with a 5star scores on the doors...so glad to have discovered the. Though because the food was delicious (delivery was early but I don't know by how much)

Food was great and it always is from there. It's great value for money too. The delivery time was longer than normal but they were honest about needing more time and gave an accurate eta. Will definitely keep ordering from there.

I ordered butter chicken and got chicken korma that was very sweet and dry. Ended in the bin. Tadka dhal was watery and spinach way too creamy.

It is 15 minutes late I would not know what the food courses like all the restaurants Southsea or delivery time apart from 15 sorry 16 minutes from the time that was stated it was 11pm and it’s 11.40pm

Delivery was on time but ordered over an hour before. No problem with this. However, the food arrived cold. The Chicken Tikka was dry and tasted as though it was a left over! The Mushroom Barji was tasteless and cold chewy mushrooms. Yuk. Very disappointed this time round.

First time we’ve used this takeaway the food was great very tasty and fairly priced,we live quite rural about 7 miles from the shop but they managed to get to us on time and the food was still hot! Looking forward to our next meal from Tiffin’s already 😋👌👍👍

Ordered a takeout and order taker could not understand English and his own menu … not a good start !!! Finally placed my order questioning whether the king prawn puri starter came with a small side salad … non was the answer just mint sauce … great so at least it comes with mint sauce …. So the order arrived and I paid cash on the door… no offer of change from the delivery guy and off he goes … I quickly check the order and NO mint sauce so I ran out to the delivery guy who said I don’t know you have to ring the restaurant … so I did and get the same guy on the phone as before who didn’t understand what I was explaining so put the phone down on me …. So I ring again and get a different guy who now tells me it doesn’t come with mint sauce !!! So I said if I had known I would have ordered but seeing as it comes with mint sauce when I dine in with you it makes sense it would come with the take out meal … No … so explained I’ve been a customer of his for over 30 years so do I get a free starter next time as this one is spoilt , il give you two mint sauces next time he says …. Wow that’s gratitude for my long continued service … so I put the phone down picked up the receipt to throw it away and noticed there is also a delivery charge on there yet claims to be free delivery …. Safe to say il never use this company again especially as the puri was like the bottom of one of my fathers worn sandals and the king prawns must have shrunk in the wash 🤬

Butter chicken was terrible. Porridge like texture with an extreme amount of sugar for some reason. Was not butter chicken at all!!!

Ordered twice from here. Food is acceptable, rice dishes are very nice in particular. Only snag we've found is the tikka masala is very sweet for our taste. Not sure if this is a shared experience with anyone else, but we've had a variety of masala dishes from other places and this is the only place that serves with this amount of sugar in it. It's just incredibly rich. Partner couldn't finish hers sadly.

Unfortunately 3 out of 4 mains were far too spicy and well over the usual heat levels for the dishes chosen; bhuna, balti and madras. The bread and rice were lovely but the mains being too hot to eat just ruined the meal.

Good food was very nice apart from forgetting to put the rice in the bag to be delivered

No flavour in any dish , the butter chicken and the pasanda where exactly the same and i mean as in they where the same dish , Bombay aloo COLD the only thing that was any good was the poppadum's and i got them from the shop

Been using Tiffins for years but placed order at around 7.15 and it came at around 9.15 The order was stone cold and we ordered a lamb pasanda but recieved a pathia which was too hot for my Son. I was told I would get a call the next day but I didn’t!

ordered meal for 6.30, arrived at 7 ! Food obviously cold, King Prawn butterfly totally inedible. As a diabetic it is important to eat food at certain times, so very disappointed.

I didn't receive the can of spirit I paid for. I have used just eat twice and both times this has happened!

It says Authentic Indian food but it was nothing like that. Chicken in Chicken chilly masala tasted same as that in starters. I expected proper big chicken pieces not the starter ones. And the Chicken biryani was more like Chicken fried rice. No such biryani spices, pieces were very small, hard and dry. Not so good experience.

Good tastes like it’s been under a heat lamp for some time. Very dry and not what I was expecting. Not to mention it was ordered at 19:30 and arrived at 20:50 due to “traffic” ironically when you look on Google maps and see there is no traffic shown anywhere in town I knew I was being mugged off.
