Throckley Sandwich Bar in Newcastle upon Tyne

Not the best, not the worst. Pretty average. I got a Christmas sandwich there once, which was pretty nice, but some other sandwiches have been too salty, and not great, prompting me not to have been in a few years. However, I think many of their sandwiches can be nice, but ultimately, just average.

Food was ok but the bloke who works there thinks he's someone he's not and has a stinking attitude and needs a slap with a wrap

Absolutely spot on Bacon Sausage and Egg sarnie!

A quality shop ran by a quality guy. Sausage sarnie was unbelievable and cheese sarnie was top quality. Definitely coming back

With a 20 minute wait for the 9.35 Wright Bus 888 to take us from Throckley to Keswick we planned a visit to Throckley Sandwich Bar for breakfast. We were not disappointed with our choice. My friend chose a bacon filling and I chose a sausage filling for the largest bun I've seen. Both buns had generous fillings. The cost only £2. Lots of other foods were available which looked eqally as good as our choices. We took our sarnies off to the bus stop to enjoy our al fressco brekie.

We love this place, the staff are very friendly, the prices are so reasonable and the sandwich fillings are really generous, personally we mostly go for the breakfasts because they are amazing but you can also get a really nice hot lunch.

Been working up here for the last couple of month's and been using this place every day. Great food and good value for money. Thougherly recomend it.

Called in early this morning as car was booked into garage. Got a big brekkie - great value. Black pudding a little thin for my liking and mushrooms were boiled, otherwise excellent value. Also choice of free bun or tea/coffee. Ok it's not gourmet cuisine but it is everything it sets out to be. Defo worth a look although parking is not good - park at the supermarket around the corner.
