Wonderful local pub. Bar staff are all so friendly and a lovely beer garden which is partly undercover. I didn't have food, but what I saw it's does look good.

Beautiful Sunday roast. Cooked to perfection. Been here many times for a roast and it never disappoints. Big portions, tasty food and excellent value. We will keep returning , abs would highly recommend!

Excellent food as a foodie myself am very fussy.this pub is amazing food is fresh,not frozen rubbish..and generous portions.Just go and you will see for yourselves.May I add the Sunday lunches are delicious.The service is attentive and prompt.But I have been when it is busy,So obviously a little wait.But worth it in the end.

They refuse service based on ethnicity and culture. Didn't expect a pub in Wales to be run like it's 1930's Germany. Afiach.

Went for works Xmas doo, bit last minute organising, (we all work in catering and events) there were 10 of us and food was fabulous, everybody loved it without exception, service was outstanding and we all said that we would not hesitate in going back and also recommending to others.

Visited with my wife as it was a cold and rainy day. No food serving 1st January. Had coffee. Spacious place with 4 big TVs entertaining the guests.

Nice pub for a chilled out pint, great selection of food, we had the breakfast and it was ample to line the stomach before a session. Drinks were reasonably price and the atmosphere was excellent with a calm in the air no animosity etc. Will definitely return, we were a party of 18 so handled very well

Popped in at 2pm today for Sunday lunch. Wasn’t sure if I would be able to get a table as hadn’t pre booked. Tab opened, shown to a table and drink brought to me. Served promptly. Made to feel welcome. Food was excellent. Staff brought sauces to me and checked with me if everything was ok. Well done team! As Arnie said…”I’ll be back”😆

I arrived on Thursday evening after a long journey in awful weather, and was greeted by a friendly and welcoming member of staff. The food I ordered came quickly, served with a smile, and was good. The Three Horseshoes had been recommended by a friend, and lived up to expectations.

Excellent meal and a few pints with my daughter recently. A great choice of food that is cooked to order. The staff are welcoming and friendly, I will certainly be returning and highly recommended this establishment. Thank you.

Very nice little pub. Food was amazing my hunters chicken was cooked to perfection, very soft and with plenty of bacon and cheese on the top. Onion rings- one of the best we've ever had. Peppercorn sauce - first one I've ever liked in my life. Atmosphere is very cosy, with nice music on the background with just right amount of volume. Staff are very friendly and professional. Although I am personally very picky, my experience was a 5* all over

Can’t thank Julie, Nadine and the landlady/lord for making myself, my sister niece and great niece so welcome after a very different experience with a different member of staff last week. Not going to mention any names! The food was amazing for my sister to not complain plus pay it shows how good the whole experience was! Will definitely be recommending to my family to experience your infamous roast dinners. Thanks again to those mentioned

Visited the shoes and it's a ok pub but they overcharge and hope you don't notice especially by card, I noticed and they don't like it.

Nice dog friendly pub with reasonable prices, pub game's as in pool and darts and plenty of tv's for sport, good entertainment on the weekend and good jukebox new little extension built for private parties etc

If you park on the car park you are subject to a fine as it is for permit holders only, there no signs stateing this and no machine in the pub to put your registration number into , so you could end up having an expensive experience at this pub, only attended a family engagement party which cost me a fortune due to a pathetically large parking fine,

Great pub. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help, Theres a wide variety of drinks and the food menu caters for everyone, as a vegetarian it's great that they offer more non meat options than the "fake meat" vegan choice that seems to be the norm in most places now. Would recommend.

Food wasn't very warm but other than that great lovely friendly staff 😊

Pleasant staff. Ordered food wasnt told there was a wait and we had a good 40mins wait with the kids not ideal. The food was good thou.

Well it’s with great sadness I write this. I have had Sunday dinner over here before in small group and it’s great food. We were a group of 10. 1 child and high chair. That shouldn’t be a problem but it’s Christmas. Sat down ordered our meal. The meals came out with some having wrong meats and one with cold meat. That was sent back. That took a while to return. Asked for more veg. This took ages to get to table. Well that’s when they the young servers started spilling the gravy down peoples coats. The gravy boat too full. He just couldn’t see the gravy pooping out the front. Well we eventually settled down and had nice food. Which is not my complaint. Well we waited to be asked what we wanted for desert eventually going to bar to ask if we could order this. Well it was ages bring to table in small or two plates at a time. We asked ice cream no sprinkles no chocolate just plain ice cream. You guessed it. Ice cream white sauce and sprinkles on. When the last two eventually got their desert and eating they asked to settle the bill and vacate the table as we had been over two hours and they had another sitting wanting to use table. Your having a laugh. We will vacate when we have finished. It’s not our problem service was so slow and confused. Would advise longer time on tables for larger parties of faster service I must say we had a discount on the drinks which was welcomed and I would return as food is generally good value but return in smaller party. Sorry to write this I’m a local and will return but needed to do this as it took the shine off a family’s Christmas get together.

Had a lovely lunch at this pub. Nicely done out. The food was excellent. Nice lamb casserole served with lovely mashed potatoes. All tasted homemade. Will definitely go again.

After a recommendation my sister and I went for Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed it was delicious, lovely and hot plenty of it and lovely service , I would definitely recommend this pub for Sunday lunch and food in the week delicious food

some of the staff are very unfriendly and questioned our party quite angrily about items we had been authorised to bring into the venue. She also threw away birthday gifts and cards and was very aggressive and rude. I work in hospitality and understand it’s a difficult field to work in however her attitude was untoward or not very well presented at all. However, the gentleman behind the bar was lovely and good but cheesy live music that the rest of the party enjoyed.

Nice little pub, with friendly staff & a nice atmosphere. Could do with a better selection of beer. Never tried the food but I understand it's popular.

Dined today for lunch..food was amazing, portion sizes very very generous..Dan our waiter was amazing too..and prices were very reasonable. Looking forward to our next visit, and would highly recommend.😋

One if the best Sunday roast dinner I've had in quite some time,, everything on the plate was piping hot,, more vegetables on offer, at no Extra cost, that's if you could eat more,, was tempted with desert, but my stomach was full,,, definitely be going back soon, for another.

Visited the three horseshoes for a meal for the first time. What a lovely place. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. Having worked at The 3 Horseshoes while I was at University and having been a regular here for 25 years, I know a few things about this place. Quite simply it is now better than it has ever been. The food is as good as home cooked, especially on a Sunday which os no mean feat! One of the best lunches around in an area with plenty of competition! Beats carveries and chains hands down. Clean, vibrant and modern without being pretentious. Excellent value and the service is spot on. In 10 or so visits there was a slight problem with bookings and availability of items on one occasion. The manager listened to our complaint and she more than made up for the mix up. Absolutely nothing bad to say about the new Horseshoes, or its new proprietor and employees. Long may it continue! Best Sunday dinner I have eaten out in a while. Excellent portion sizes, nice selection of seasonal veg. Lots of optional extras for your favourites (Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese etc) Everything was lovely and clean. Table service was excellent. Will definitely be returning again soon

Went there for Sunday lunch absolutely amazing, the beef was delicious, a really thick cut that fell apart with great gravy, and the staff were lovely, really great service 10/10 looking forward to going back👌🏼👍🏼

Can't praise the pub enough. Cleanliness and ambience were first class. The lunch was excellent. The food order was a large one, so thought the staff would struggle, how wrong was I. The service was smooth and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Do yourself a favour go there for lunch. Oh by the way the Madri is an excellent pint.

The two girls who take the orders are honestly amazing, so kind and caring and got along with the whole load of us when we went there and there was a whole gazebo load of us, amazing service and great food

Fantastic place...all refurbished 5 star..staff very welcoming..special mention to Steve Wright (a local)...Steve told me the history of the 'shews'as he calls it, has all the locals re visiting young and old ,a real family orientated pub/restaurant ...can't wait to revisit
