Can't find much fault with our recent visit here. Staff friendly and food came out quickly. It was hot and exactly what we ordered at a good price. My large mixed grill was tasty, and the only criticism was a few bruised mushy chips on the plate.

FF Sake get some new tables and chairs. It was like sitting at a chimps tea party trying to eat at those tables. Left 90 minutes later with backache wishing we hadn't bothered. Why has this Wetherspoons got the worst assortment of furniture of any of your pubs. I'd give it zero stars but one is the minimum

Was planning to meet my wife from work for a meal and sit outside but because we had our little dog we were asked to leave. The seating area is outside and not strictly part of the premises but part of the precinct. I regularly see worse behaviour from humans than animals. Sadly your loss as we will eat somewhere else that is open to “Mans best friend”

Lovely pub, often visit here, lovely food , friendly helpful staff , have never been disappointed when visiting.

Just to say ,love Thorns farm spoons,food excellent, staff great,But tonight on using ladies ,not happy ,just coming out of lue and I had a near miss with a male! staff member ,no apologie ,he un nererved me as to why he in toilet, he didn't speak or apologise, just barged past me as though I was expecting him to be in ladies,I went down to bar to complain, to female manager eho was rude and argumentative, said it was common practice, I said he should of knocked or called out his presence, she replied with attitude, in this age of political correctness! Toilet checks should be done by female staff in female toilets ,and male staff in make toilets, not happy with managers reaction very dismisses

Shocked today to see two guys come in with a labrador, clearly not an assistance dog of any sort.... Spoons have a no dog policy? I made the manager aware of this, half an hour later, nothing was done about it. The place was packed as usual, poor show

I was standing in the queue and there was one person in front of me, it was fairly quiet but as per normal one person serving and the rest of the staff serving meals and collecting glasses. The person in front of me said he'd been waiting at least ten minutes but it seems all they're interested in is serving people who order over the app rather than people waiting at the bar, then the person Infront of me asked the manger if she could put another person behind the bar to help out but was given an arrogant look and a shake of the head. When the person in front finally got to the bar he then again complained which a customer surely is allowed to do and was then told by the barman that he was refusing to serve him which is absolutely shocking customer service surely the customer has a right to complain. Surely there is got to be more profit in serving than collecting glasses and keeping customers happy obviously not here.

No eggs ran out of beef burgers no spicy meat or pepperoni for the pizza staff ran ragged poor bar service

Yate was once voted within the top 10 chav towns in the UK, so what better place is there to Chav Watch than the local spoons, and boy did it not disappoint! We were thrilled to see Fat tattooed mums with their push chairs addicted to the fruit machines Strange strange people with entertaining dress sense Our favourite bit, was the long bus queue to the bar (rather than the lateral approach traditionally seen around bars around the world) this we’re guessing is because people in Yate are void of all normal ‘getting served at the bar’ skills normally used to attract service, such as eye contact, good wit, flashing a £10 note, or making conversation. And also to protect anyone from getting beaten up in the case of “ear you pushed in” Staff were excellent, my San Miguel was good We’ll be back for more viewing another day

If JDW closed this place their average rating would go up. If they cannot make a reasonable job of cooking HAM, EGG and CHIPS then God help anyone choosing anything off the menu a tad more complicated. The plate was cold, the chips stale and cold, the eggs done to death and the ham curling at the edges. Whoever cooked it had no pride, skill or interest in presenting it to a reasonable standard. Do I balme the "cook"? NO. Do I blame the MANAGER? NO. You have to blame the people at the top who are more concerned about the big picture and losing control of the coal face. You will get more support by delivering to your public. JDW a great idea and brand but make sure the punters get waht is promised.

Absolutely disgusting food came out cold microwaved and even when I asked for peppercorn sauce that came out frozen sent that back to get a curry sauce. The beer was gone off won’t be returning

Came to eat but did not. Kitchen serving area visible and someone serving food in blue hoodie no uniform no hair covering. I had no faith that basic hygiene was in place let alone additional covid measures. No one checking if scanned in to venue. Left without ordering food. I am a fan of the brand but this was not a good example.

Great place with friendly staff. food is what it is, but good for the price. ignore all the other idiots below me complaining about their handling of covid procedure. every time ive been in there has always been an exit sign on the exit only door, the gentleman below me is obviously blind or doesnt pay attention to his surroundings. as for the people in groups of more than six that are complaining about being separated, theyre just following government guide lines so shh

Absolute joke! The little tyrant greeted us trying to come in the door and rudely told us that it was the out door and we had to walk around the building. No sign on door explaining that. My 75 year old father was told off when he went to get a menu as he forgot his mask. Ordered via the app and was charged for the hot chocolate stick as it’s in the app but when cups arrived was told hot chocolate now came out of machine. Why is it on the app if you don’t have it?? Watched 9 more people come in through the out door, 2 of which had masks in their hands, and not one word was said to them. Will not be supporting this business again and hope the place, with all the rude staff, go down the pan from lack of customer support.

Chaotic!!!! Is only way to describe this pub today, we where not allowed in as needed table service, once inside sat at tables allocated by man on door for table service, all other tables, app only!!! That's what we where told, but all around us in table service area, folk ordering on app, other folk sitting for table service in what apparently is app area???? You have to go to bar to pay by card/cash, you have to wander down for hot drinks yourself, folk walking l over place, absolutely ridiculous situation, very poorly organised! Have they not heard of ordering on a tablet, paying on cordless machine?? The old order at bar system in this pub made me feel safer than the chaos I witnessed today, the poor staff were so stressed, needs sorting out not a safe inviroment for anyone!

Ridiculous this place. Visited with family and could only sit outside, so found a 4 table and moved an extra chair. There was 5 of us and 2 small kids. Now we were well out of the way, and know social distancing is in place and yes we are always careful, but this table was so out of everyone's way it could have easily been on the moon.A jobsworth member of staff came over and said 4 people to a table only, so one adult and 2 kids had to move elsewhere. This is the first time since lockdown we've met up and travelling from Wirral to Bristol I was not going to miss family time. We moved anyway to adhere to their rules, then lo and behold 2 women and 4 guys sat at a table meant for 4 people, same as us, and half hour later when we left, they were still there and not one member of staff approached them, even though they regularly passed them. Moving one family to 2 different tables is not using common sense, when being told another large table is not available when there was plenty inside, moving a group together apart and enhancing a risk of potentially spreading an infection. Management need to look at their approach, especially when it seems one rule for visitors and another for who seemed regulars at the place. IDIOTIC and won't return again.

This is a cold uninviting weather spoons staff go on like they are in a youth club and people coming in and loitering around the kitchen chatting to there mates. IV been in excellent spoons all over ole Blighty sad to say this ain't one of them !!!! Mr spoon shake it up????

This is the 2nd time that I have experienced a man and children come in and speak to someone in the kitchen whilst hanging over the heated serving area where food comes out of the kitchen spreading their germs on work surfaces.This on top of the fact that we blatantly watched kitchen staff handle frozen food without gloves then carry on preparing fresh food.

My 15 year old Son and an couple of his friends went to have breakfast. When they went to order the bar staff asked for their ages and were then told they were not allowed to purchase a breakfast without an adult present, although if they wanted a glass of pop this would be ok.... how ridiculous is this... needlesstosay, my son and his friends took their custom to Mcdonalds...........

I visited on a saturday lunchtime, the pub was very busy but the service was quick and friendly. The breakfast service had only just finished but the staff were working hard to clear the tables and restock the coffee machine.

Call in here about every 6 weeks or so. Always great value food, and we never have to wait very long. Good choice of food on the menu, and drinks. Glad it's local to us.

Just eaten here. Had the large breakfast which I ordered via the app (which is great by the way). It arrived with no beans. When questioned where the beans are we were told they somehow run out (which seems crazy, there is a Tesco down the road if things are that desperate.We asked if you could have something else instead. The helpful server went to ask "his manager" and came back saying "no, my manager says no substitutions".I'd understand if we were swapping out before ordering but it's not our fault that it's so poorly run you have run out of basics. Good job they hadn't run out of the other items I guess otherwise I would have been enjoying my large toast. No excuses for terrible service like that, I think their manager needs some training.

This is in a great location within the local shopping centre great food and the service was good only criticism was all the table in the pub were dirty and covered in empty glasses so need to keep on top of cleaning tables

Lunch time hunger pangs were removed easily and quickly at this Wetherspoons.Ordering our food and drink via the Wetherspoon app is very effective and soon afterwards the drinks arrived followed by two burger plates. The empire state burger is aptly named and was in the end, just too much. The entry level classic burger was perfect for my partner and deemed excellent. All for less than £16.Service was very good.

Been here 4 times so far usually on Friday and the service and food are excellent. The staff all very friendly,This is a very good Weatherspoons .I am a big fan of nearly all the spoons pubs .Keep up the good work yate

Been here a few times and every time I have to queue up at the bar in a single file line, what the hell is that all about!! Walked to the bar and got looked at like I was holding someone’s nan at knifepoint cos I didn’t get in the queue which I believed was a queue for food where I only wanted a Pint!! To much like a school canteen, very echoey and not very welcome unless willing to join that god damn queue

As with all wetherspoons ,this establishment offers quite basic but equally nourishing and well priced food. Breakfasts are extremely good value for money and all coffee and teas are refillable for no extra cost. I have not personally tried the alcoholic drinks here but there appears to be an extensive selection on hand . I have to admit that the chairs and tables could do with a bit of attention but apart from that it is a well attended and comfortable venue in which to relax and enjoy your meal and drink.

Went in today tried to find an empty table for five of us, a few tables spare but full up with leftovers plates and glasses from previous diners. I spoke to a waiter who then came over and cleared the table.

We went to thorns farm Saturday morning and had a fab breakfast, good quality food and great service.

Called in with family for lunch. Typical Wetherspoons, good value and quality food and drinks. Friendly and helpful staff, good service.

I tried the Tuesday meal deal steak and chips with a drink for £8.20. It included a J2O and came with peas, mushroom and tomato. The sirloin steak was one of the best I have had and perfectly cooked. This, with a gourmet burger and half of cider, came to £15.60. The service was good, but the staff looked rushed and there were not enough condiment boxes to go round. Also the menus, cutlery and tables were a bit dirty, hence 4 stars.

Terrible service at the bar. 7th in queue, one person serving. Wait is not acceptable. Numerous staff hovering around. This is a shame as beer offerings and price excellent.

Fairly average Wetherspoons. Set in a modern shopping centre, its a fairly boring bar, not very historic.

Please take note to other (non local) reviewers. Yate is a special place but this wetherspoons has to be the worst ever for a few reaons...1st its in a shopping centre with no charm, 2nd it is the only pub i know that has ques like a bank..single file style!, 3 the service is dismal...takes for ever to get service even by app, drink pouring is dismal and get mixed up and 4) the food is the worst...1st time i thought ok maybe an accident but its happened again, and when you informed staff all you get back is 'what do you want me to do about it?' Hmmm maybe serve me hot food and correct drinks without 1/3 head like i paid for. Word of advise, stay clear

This place is near Yate Post Office and is a standard Wetherspoons. Plenty of options on the menu, quick service, unlimited refills of coffee and bargain prices. The food isn’t amazing but portions are good and the app lets you see calories and browse before you even get here which speeds things up.

Have been here several times in past and usually had reasonable quick service but this time same number of people but a smallish queue order. Arrived and started queuing for two breakfasts at 11.50 am and eventually got served at 1 min past 12 - would they take the order aftyer 12 ? Nooooooooo !

We went their for our breakfast which is very nice especially the egg is nice and runny on poached egg on egg Benedict and mushroom Benedict is tasty. The staff was helpful especially the gentleman used work in Wirral Wetherspoons is very helpful chap remember the pubs. The service was great and helpful.

Came here as so disappointed with where we had first attended. Had been to a restaurant that wasn’t exactly packed to be told all our meal choices were ‘ran out of’ and if we did order there was a 90 minute wait. NO THANKS !!!!!

This is the garlic pizza bread without the garlic topping completely shocked, the all-day brunch is ment to come with 2 eggs but only come with 1.

Spent most of the night queuing up at what is one of longest bars ive seen because if you go straight to the bar the staff just ignore you because they have blinkers on and can only look in front of them.

Who ever was doing the food on this evening obviously had a bad day. Lovely hot fish served with chips that had obviously been sat around and a scoop of cold shriveled up mushy peas. My biggest concern was the cutlery basket. Ive never seen so many dirty steak knives in one tub. Every fork i picked out had dried food on it.

Visited for brunch. Ordered smashed avocado as my baby grandson loves puréed avocado! Arrived as slices so asked waitress if I could have smashed she kindly went to kitchen and asked and they said no! Avocado wasn’t ripe so couldn’t mash with fork. Another person had burnt cottage pie. Won’t eat here again. Usually love this brand.

The staff was all very friendly but the venue wasn’t very clean at all, there bits of food and dust all over the floor, the presentation of the food wasn’t the best either, also the table hasn’t been cleaned, they need a cleaner!!

OK, lets be honest, it's a wetherspoons pub; so you get what you pay for. But Thorns Farm is actually quite a pleasant dining experience. It was a very interesting clientele; I got there before 10:00am and wanted breakfast. So, there were mothers with young children mixed in with the early morning drinkers who were on the beer already. However, the service was good and the food, although not the best you will ever eat, was more than acceptable and was very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the menu is quite extensive and the selection of drinks was also very extensive and reasonably priced. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I think the coffee could be better. Even though it's a great system, where you help yourself, the coffee is rather disappointing. Would definitely go again.

Fiancée and I often visit here for Sunday breakfast. Good range of dishes for breakfast and a number of deals. Coffee and hot drinks now self service which makes it a little chaotic during busy times. Food is pretty decent too!

Been on many occasions, with friends or family. Always good service and cheap decent size meals. Buttermilk chicken burger is my go to favourite. And of course a large breakfast 😋

Great atmosphere with a wide range of customers. Table service with a smile, Tina is fabulous every visit. What a woman. Give her a pay rise !! Especially love the new smaller pudding option - would recommend the chocolate brownie.

When this place 1st opened is was very nice , but in the last year it has gone down hill big time , Food not very nice , Dirty seats , Coffee machine not working , the list go's on. We used to treat our-selfs to the Steak every Tuesday , but stopped going around 6 months ago , so tonight we thought let's try again but sadly if any-thing the food is worse , You won't be seeing us again.

We visited for lunch myself daughter and granddaughter. Tables were filthy ordered food within 5 mins food arrived ? Wasn't what we ordered so we questioned it. Waitress was soo rude and obviously what we ordered wasn't what we got, she seemed not interested at all ! We ordered gourmet burgers got run of the mill burger!!!! We complained but nothing was done!! Food bland. Poor service from staff all round paid for something we never ordered. !!! No apologies. Plus the tables were disgusting. Sooo disappointed

My husband and I went for tea the food was ok I guess but puts you off when the guys in the kitchen handle food with there hands and no gloves and don’t ask for lemon etc in you drink as that is left uncovered with fly’s all over it

Visit often. Never had a bad meal. We do enjoy breakfast with unlimited coffee refills. Staff are always polite although in busy times are rushed off their feet serving and trying to clean tables.

Typical Weatherspoon's we all know the deal cheaper than most beer/drinks/food etc a well used branch meals ok service friendly enough

Thorns Farm will be 6 years old on May 29th 2018. It has changed a lot over the years. It started as the strange place on the corner of the shopping centre and has now become on of the hubs. The 'Farm' is rarely empty, breakfast is always popular and a weekend treat for parents and their children.

decided to try again as wife wanted a coffee and some food. She went upstairs to the toilets and there was only one reasonable clean one, the others were disgusting and needing extensive cleaning. Downstairs tables were very sticky and needed wiping down properly as well. time was around 3 'ish so they had probably had a rush for lunch etc but like i said in the title , when it first opened food was great service was great and all was clean... but not anymore... maybe a few months before i go back again... just a pub that serves food ... to compare to the van dyck in fishponds , the van dyck was 99 times plus one better than the yate one

Standard Whetherspoons Pub, The food is good, hot and the service is very quick. Large breakfast is always good.

You can’t fault the weatherspoons brand with reasonable prices for food and beer. Also for camera members the selection is varied and of course you can use your 50 pence off vouchers to get a good pint for £1.65. This is not as large as many and gets busy at peak times

We have breakfast here approx. once per week - it is excellent value for money, the service is efficient and staff friendly, cannot fault it.

Came here for an end of work drink with the staff who work with me. Had a terrific time. Atmosphere was great. Staff were very attentive especially seeing how busy it was. Then ordered some food and the steak meal was one of the best I’ve enjoyed, well priced and a drink included !!!

Entered the building at 10:35 on 11/11/17 ,had to wait for a table which is nothing new in this establishment as it’s not the biggest public house.

As our local for both evening out and food we are normally satisfied with Thorns Farm, as our expectations are in line with what you expect from a Weatherspoons pub.

Our local so have been here many times, last few meals something has always been wrong so wasn't expecting anything different to be honest. called in for a quick lunch, service was pretty quick even though they were busy. no complaints with the starters but the potatoes on the main courses were cold, rather that take the whole meal the waitress took the potatoes leaving us to eat the rest of the meal. potatoes were then brought out again but after we had finished the meal. Very odd way to eat lunch, ruined the whole meal. Only saving grace at this place was the team leader Tina who came to clear our tables and ask if the meal was ok. She more than made up for the bad experience. Hope she gets appreciated for all her had work.

You know what to expect from a Wetherspoons. Menu for food and drinks standard throughout the country, so if you have been to one then you have been to them all. Well not quite. The differentiators (for me) are cleanliness and service.

I would like to know where you can get 2 main courses for £8.19 plus a pint of Ruddles Real Ale at £1.99 plus a half of Lager & Lime for my wife. All for £11.36. My wife enjoys Steak & Kidney Pudding with Chips & Peas whilst I had the Chilli Con Carne. A most enjoyable visit. That is when we found the Hostelry

A Wetherspoon pub,so realistically you know what you will get before you visit.Good well priced beer and food,with good service.Cheap and cheerful,but,well worth the money.

Best points about this place are that the food is fairly priced, good portions, often a drink included within the meal deal. The food is of a great quality and normally quickly presented to your table.My dislikes are the tables and especially the chairs are really shabby and look about a year past their 'best by' date.The floor is always full of droppings of food of which I can never understand how staff can choose to ignore seeing it when moving around serving customers. Lastly I hate the long walk and back to the men's loos that are so far away upstairs.

I visit here occasionally with my other half when we are in the area. The pub is always clean and pleasant and the food is good. My only issue is that at times it can be really busy and you may need to queue for the bar and to order food. This pub is part of the Wetherspoons chain and has the price etc to match.

This is a Wetherspoon pub so you know it will be good value for money. The staff were friendly and efficient. The prices good and the food, delivered fast was very good. The breakfast offering is my favourite. Good food and reasonable priced drink make this an excellent place for a simple but delicious pub meal. Unfortunately the toilet is on the first floor and the elder or infirm people may have a little difficulty negotiating the stairs. You will not be disappointed with this establishment.

Apart from a slight hiccup in being overcharged (quickly rectified by a member of staff), this is without doubt, the best burrito I've eaten in years. Great presentation, great price and a glass of wine to boot. I normally avoid budget pubs but we have been caught short in time twice over the last 6 weeks or so and after having an awesome salad a few weeks back, think Thorns Farm deserve their 5* review. Consistent quality, decent turnaround times and a cracking menu catering for alternative preferences. Thank you.... we'll be back ;)

Good overall weatherspoons very well ran. The girl manager keeps on top of the bar and is very pleasant to speak too. The food is good and the beer is cold what more do you want. Very busy with young adults on the weekend.

After a recent trip to the Guinness factory in Dublin I asked for a pint of Guinness to be poured correctly at my local. The duty manager (Ben i think is his name) says no problem but it takes time can you wait. What transpired was the best pint of Guinness I have tasted the smiley face face in the creamy head topped it off along the look of glee when it was presented to me. The beer slightly colder than in Dublin had more flavour and the smiley face really did make me giggle thank you again for a great experience

It is the hottest day of the year,and unbelievably no air conditioning in the bar area.To my knowledge this situation has existed for at least two months with no redress.The staff are lovely,and this isn't fair to them let alone customers.Why haven't Wetherspoons addressed this issue?

My wife and I come to Thorns Farm most weeks for a drink, and sometimes a meal, and always find it excellent value with really good and plentiful food. Dan, the barman, tonight was his usual friendly self and being a Sunday it was nice and quiet. Highly recommended

This pub is a sociable place and is always full. We have eaten here a few times and the food is always of a good standard, and we haven't had any problems with the service.When it is sunny or busy in town there can be a wait at the bar but now Wetherspoons have an app you can order and pay from I wonder if this would still be the case.

New breakfast menu. Good value. Fairly quick on serving the food. Fairly tidy and clean. Sometimes a bit of a wait at busy times.

Been using my local Wetherspoons for several years, well since it opened to be honest.Over the years I know furniture gets broken and tatty but you would expect it to be replaced or at least repaired. The staff were always very happy and chatty but that has seemed to stop aswell, or maybe I've just been unlucky lately but they don't seem happy in their work. Maybe it's their surroundings.You state the food is cooked fresh, so why is it coming out cold. Come on Thorns Farm, spend a bit of money on a refurbishment and get your food to the tables hot.

This place still has a stupid queuing system whereby you conga up the pub. Anyway queued for 10 mins. Only one staff behind the bar, at last just about to be served when the barman decides to serve some locals who are drinking at the bar and in need of a top up. I walked out. I won't return. Appalling service, pathetic queuing system.

So embarrassed how dirty/stained ripped seats grime under seats sticky tables. Discussing and not acceptable

We`ve been here several times and we always enjoy the food and it is always served really quickly. Tina served us a couple of times and I agree with a recent review that Tina is very hardworking and friendly. On our most recent visit we went after 2pm and found it easier to get a table and was a better atmosphere as it wasn`t so crowded.

my wife and I are regular visitors at Thorns farm for lunch and coffeewe would like to congratulate Tina who serves and cleans the Tables.She always has a smile and is very customer friendly.We have noticed a vast difference in the tidiness of tables when Tina is on duty

Me and my mother decided to go for a nice breakfast together as I had a day off, once we found a table that was clean to sit on we looked on the menu and then I went to the bar to order, didn't take long and friendly service was given.We then didn't wait long at all for our food to arrive but the waitress offered out food to another table before eventually serving it to us, but she was very sweet and polite. (She must of been new). After eating then then decided to be on our way, but even before leaving the table another waitress ran straight over and started to clean the table, even tho we were trying to collect our belongings and rudely didn't say anything to us, we then said thank you and started to walk out, but she just ignored us and that was that.Pros:-very fast quick service -portion size is good-quality of drinks is good-paying when ordering for swift exitCons:-food isn't of a great quality (apart from the chips)-rude waitress-not the cleanest -self service Overall I would come back again for a coffee or a cheep meal out :)

Called in here for lunch today. Although it was busy, service was pleasant and attentive.The food was great, good sized portions and excellent value. There is limited space between tables as they have crammed as much as they can to allow for lots of custom. I love the flexibility of the menu too so I can order extra chicken breasts with my dish!

And pleasantly surprised by the lamb shank. Meals arrive very quick, almost as if the kitchen staff have read your mind on the way to order, it was almost too quick. You never get many chips here and they can be a bit indifferent. Lamb was served with mash, a good gravy and veg. Excellent and interesting selection of ales. Efficient and polite staff. Odd queuing system whereby the natives form a conga and you advance to the bar when beckoned forward, the problem being some folks just go straight to the bar, I've done it myself which annoys the great unwashed stood in their orderly queue, not overly keen on this system. Much prefer to stand at the bar wait my turn, allowing those before me to get served first.Kahsis upstairs in good order and clean, disabled toilet on lower level. Parking is on the shopping centre car-park.

Me and my friend were tired of Christmas shopping and we were hungry as well of sick and tired of walking round nonstop in the busy shopping centre. I suggested to her that we go to Wetherspoons to grab a cheap eat! Normally I am not impressed with a Wetherspoons burger, because they're very simple and leave me hungry later. But this time I noticed that they offered a new burger on the menu called the Ultimate Burger which looked nice. We only waited about 5 minutes for our food after many customers who had ordered after us and received their food first. This wasn't an issue though! When our food came out to the table it was really warm and looked amazing! (Didn't manage to get a photo!) the burger itself came with chips and onion rings which were all cooked just right!The burger was by far one the best burgers that I have ate in my life time, running a close first with Five Guys!I really couldn't fault the meal at all. It was beautiful! Well done to the brilliant team who were working so hard on this busy day leading up to Christmas!

We visited for breakfast on Thursday and we could substitute bacon for beans which neither me nor my wife like. We decided to go again on Sunday, nice way to start the day. This time a different manager informed us that she would not do substitute items. Perhaps the management team here should sort out their policies. Well go somewhere else next time?

What's the point in having a gluten free menu when there's nothing on it? Even the chips are not GF! Ok, this is spoons nationwide, surely a rethink somewhere by someone.Anyway, typical spoons, does the basics, food average, you pay your money etc...

Visited here last week and had two large brunch burgers, superb meals came out and such large portions I couldn't finish it! Will definitely keep coming here as it is so nice and staff are super friendly The nicest wetherspooons in the area.

The assumed queuing system was appalling....for someone on tightly timed lunch break, who had been queueing on one side of the bar area, I then had to go to the back of the queue in the middle area even though there was no obvious system. Very poor.

Me and my partner came into Thorns Farm after a unplanned trip to the minor injuries unit, I was a little worried after several bad meals at other weatherspoons. how ever apart from being given a normal Pepsi instead of diet (I'm type 1 diabetic and a normal could put me in a coma) and the bar tender refusing to change it, the meal was the best I've had! Eggs and gammon cooked to perfection. And the apple crumble was delish!

Food came out after waiting 45minuites cold! Chips looked as though they had been re fried about 10 times! Hair in toastie! Terrible food terrible staff! I know it's cheap but still it worth the money!
