Great place to go for a drink on the way home. Food looks good but never eaten there.

Great bar and great for sports. I just feel the drink prices need to be a bit lower as rather on the steep side.

Went for lunch our first time there. It was very busy, always a good sign! Our order was taken fairly quickly by lovely friendly staff. I ordered chicken forestiere, the chicken was a bit overdone & came on a bed of cabbage & fried new potatoes with a lovely mushroom sauce - very nice. My husband had steak & ale pie. It came with fresh veg & chips, he said it was excellent! It would have been 5 stars but for the chicken being overdone. Will definitely go again.

Great place for food and drinks. The food is very good and very well priced, the staff are very friendly. Great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Disabled toilet and a ramp to access the premises.

Myself and 2 kids went after a wet afternoon in Ingleton and it was warm and welcoming. We stopped for food which came out in good time and was piping hot. It was also very tasty. All in all a really nice place.

It's a welcoming pub, it's our friendly local!

Miles better than what it used to be! Went here last night for a family meal with 7 of us, big menu with lots to choose from and all dishes really nice, desserts v good and service class, no issues whatsoever very easy and relaxing

Went for a spontaneous lunch with friends. Ordered a cheese and onion pie off the lite menu and it was delicious and a great size. Very friendly staff and reasonable price. I have limited mobility and therefore couldn’t be to the main toilets which are down a set of stairs but there is an accessible toilet just outside the side doors. Nice decor and lots of parking.

First visit since the refurbishment ! New carpets chairs bar and redecorated. Welcoming staff, New improved pub menu, Update !Called in today ( 25th of January ) for lunch at 12.30pm and there wasn't a seat to be had in the restaurant. So it had to be the bar area ,

Great food and service. Just bear in mind if you can’t get in the restaurant to eat the pub has televised football and sport and it gets quite lively and we found the tv volume a bit overpowering. Food though was excellent as was the friendly and swift service.

Service could be better but it seems to be the same everywhere these days, Food is average as are their prices. It's ok if you're in the area . There are not many very good/exceptional places anymore

Popped in for a lunchtime bite, friendy welcoming staff, great menu options. The steak melted in my mouth. Will definitely be returning when in the area again!

Lovely place to go,always busy. Lovely surroundings. Went today,Friday for dinner just by chance,got two of us in. They said they were short staffed but didn't mind waiting as service and food is always excellent.

Been to the Yew Tree for lunch today and the food was fabulous. We booked their three course Christmas menu and were not disappointed by the quality and quantity, we were a party of ten and you know you've done well when everyone is happy with everything they've eaten.

Myself and my husband made a last minute decision to go to the Yew Tree and we are so glad that we did. We had such a great night. Our only negative was the amount of food to choose from which means we have to keep going back so that we can sample them all :)

We had our Xmas party recently. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Will go back again.

Went 25-10-2023 had the mixed grill the steak was cooked to perfection and a great portion the place is getting renovated starting 6-11-2023 place will be definitely be a revisit on the book and the staff are very helpful

Very quiet on a Monday evening at 18:30. Friendly warm welcome from staff. Prompt service of drinks and food. Excellent food served well presented and hot.

Enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch. Plenty of tasty beef, roast potatoes, carrot & parsnip in a nice sweet dressing, green cabbage & cauliflower. Gravy is normally added to the meal but we asked for it separate which was no problem and served in small gravy boats. We also ordered a portion of cauliflower cheese to share between 2. We arrived at 12 without reserving a table but luckily there was one available. Staff were polite and professional, meal was served hot and there was plenty of it. Thoroughly enjoyed and definitely recommend

Popped in on Monday night with my mum. I haven't been for years but was impressed. Food was really good and service was quick. My mum had a chicken skewer kebab meal, I had scampi and chips.

Had lunch and it was fantastic, great service, great food and a great pint of real ale. I had the fish & chips with mushy peas, the best I have had in a long time. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I will he back very soon.

It's years since we last visited but thankfully things have improved immensely. While basically a pub serving food as opposed to a restaurant the service was good, staff polite and prices reasonable. The food itself was really tasty and ample without being over facing. It would be nice if access to the disabled ramp didn't necessitate climbing the slope of the carpark. Certainly worth another visit though.

Nice pub for food. Located in the middle of some big ish roads and near to the retail bit There is parking though and has great food. Especially Sunday lunch. Gluten free and vegetarian selection is the best I've seen.

We’ve been coming to the Yew Tree for around a decade, it’s great to see home made food and a welcoming environment - that also allows dogs! It was very busy, which is wonderful to see. We need to keep supporting businesses. The portions are very generous, we had to both ask for ‘doggy bags’ to bring half our food home, which just means we will be able to enjoy it all over again. The staff were lovely, the gentleman who served us was excellent, he was very helpful with any queries we had however he definitely undersold just quite how big the portions are for the value. See you again soon.

Booked an area at the back of the pub for a wake. Lovely staff, decent food and well kept beer. No issues whatsoever. Apx £500 for 50(ish) people. Would reccomend.

Had a brilliant quick lunch here whilst doing some shopping, can't fault it, we had the salt & pepper chicken burger - delicious! And the veggie pizza - Amazing, loved the goats cheese!

I love this place , the food is amazing and the staff are fabulous. They are always polite and they go out of their way to help. I regularly travel just to eat here. We were served today by Clara and Dylan. They are a credit to the pub. Well done guys - another successful visit.

Carpark doesn't have enough spaces, the chairs are very uncomfortable would of sat longer but couldn't, food I had was chicken kabab and was not very good at all, very overcooked and dry, everyone was very friendly though so didn't want to complain at the time as it would of ruined everyone's fun.

Had a lovely pub meal at the Yew Tree. Chicken kebabs were cooked to perfection all homemade with homemade pineapple salsa. Chips crispy and fluffy inside. Will return to eat there again. Friendly staff who gave great customer service.

Disappointing dry burger. This was sent back, credit to the staff member who served us, she was nice. Shame about the food. Second time around burgers where better but cheapy and nothing to write home about. If your stuck for somewhere to go and your passing then fine, but I wouldn’t go out of your way to eat there.

In all the years I've been coming here, I've never had a bad experience. The menu offers a nice range of dishes. The cleanliness and tidiness of the establishment are commendable, nice relaxed atmosphere, and if not too hot or busy it's nice to eat on the terrace. The staff including the owners (especially Dylan), are friendly, well-trained, and always go the extra mile to ensure a great visit. It's right next to the Capital Centre Shopping Park, so great if you are doing a spot of shopping. The reasonable prices make it even more appealing, ensuring you get fantastic value for your money. Also, a bonus is it's dog friendly in the bar area which we only found out today :) It can get busy so if a large group I would probably recommend booking.

Today I visited a pub I’d only ever driven past, The Yew Tree. The food was marvellous and the service was top notch with a lovely atmosphere. 10/10 would certainly recommend a visit :-)

Service was absolutely fantastic to go with fantastic food. Dog friendly and great atmosphere.

Good portions of food and very tasty. The only quibble is that they served salad on the same plate as my curry. Some of the sauce had swamped the salad which made it all soggy. The curry, however, was lovely.

Massive menu, food is very nice 'pub grub', the service is very friendly, everything is clean and overall reasonably priced.

I thought for wat we had its was quite expencive.after chips and cola added on.Could be wrong.

Meet my friend here regularly. Use sour dough bread now instead of fresh baguettes. Tough as old boots !! Use to love the baguettes 🥖 but won’t be ordering sour dough bread anymore. Had to gnaw at it. Felt like a dog with a bone !! Also hardly any cheese on it. Great menu - just need a few improvements. don’t spoil it with sour dough tough bread.
