Called in to order a takeaway. Was stood there 5 minutes with the guy busy behind the counter..absolutely no acknowledgement that I was there...not even just a minute & I will be with you...complete ignorance & the last time I will eat from there.. RUDE!

Its actually amazing, the food is delicious and the staff are polite, the place is spotless. I loved everything about it, I would definitely recommend this to anyone because its really good! :D

My wife had the chicken tikka biriyani and I had chicken jalfrieze, both of which were fantastic and tasted great. Kas it was a pleasure to make your acquaintance. We will certainly be back for another meal. Thank you

Took my two grown up daughters for tea. It was marvellous. Excellent food, great service, lovely staff. Got the set meal for 3 which, would have been better described as either a banquet or a feast. Top notch quality.

I had a lovely meal here about 4 weeks ago and decided to order a takeaway but it was disgusting and had to wait too long for it to be ready . There was only 4 people in the restaurant when I arrived . I took my food home and it was the worst curry I have had . Will not be returning in the future

Took the family after the football, they always deliver quality food the curries are always spot on, the breads are amazing, and the chilli starters are a thing of beauty. This rivals the best curry houses we have ever been to!

Personally the best Indian food I have eaten. The quality, quantity, presentation and taste was wonderful. Staff pleasant, helpful and courteous. I would recommend this restaurant. A+ Footnote, stairs to climb to enter No alcohol licence so take your own. Both of the above was no problem to us.

Ordered takeaway for delivery at 5pm and estimated arrival at 5.50pm. Food arrived at 6.30pm and was only warm. We only live round the corner but went for delivery option due sorting my little boy out for bed. Very disappointed 😞

Just left Sangham, they always deliver, chichen chilli starter amazing, south Indian garlic chicken just magic! Service excellent, we've been coming for years and it's always spot on, really cannot fault it at the price, best Indian around!

Been coming here for years, never had a big issue. But the service I received tonight was awful. Ordered at 6.45, order wasn't here at 9pm. Rang for the next 40mins, kept telling the food was on the way. My wife rang and was dealt with a very very rude employee, who was screaming down the phone at her, and kept hanging up. Then when we called, he answered then put the phone down before we could speak. We said we just wanted a refund. They told us to call back another day cos they couldnt do it now. Literally fuming. Ruined our night. Its now 9.35pm, no sign of food or a refund. Lost a customer tonight unfortunately.

We have eaten at this restaurant many times, but not for many years. It was my sons choice as he had eaten here quite recently. This time it was for his birthday celebration with his friends. There were 14 of us in total. From the minute we arrived until the time we left Asad and Wazed were very attentive making sure everyone was happy at each part of the meal. I had forgotten just how good the food was. Even though we were a large party the starters were all served together and the mains were all served together. We brought our own alcohol and we were happy that they took away the empties. It was good value for money and many of the party took away doggie bags as the portions were good in size. I would recommend this restaurant for larger parties as well as for couples as it caters for all. Thank you, we will be back soon

Fantastic Indian meal last night the best one by far. Food was exactly as ordered and very fresh, cleanly presented and just perfect. Very good value for money and don't feel like been ripped off worth every penny. Will be returning deffo. Thanks for a fab meal in a cosy restaurant x

Ive been eating indian food for over 40 years and tried the Sangem last night - it surpassed all previous restaurants - home made lime pickle and the spices used in the jalfrezi were pure quality - see you next saturday guys - 5 stars Chris - Flag lane

What a little gem of an Indian, rang 1st to reserve a table very polite man on the phone. Very spacious seating and lots of space so not to be overlooked by others eating.very good selection of food on the menu and easy to navigate menu ,nice ambiance while eating not noisy. No alcohol is served here but local spa and pub opposite do take outs ...all in all great meal and definitely would recommend a visit , we will be returning 👍

Rather disappointed. Just ordered a set meal to be delivered , which I have ordered many times, with an amendment which I have done before, to be now charged a pound extra. When I asked about the extra charge the young lady on the phone rather abruptly said it was because Sangam was under new management, it was what she had been told to do and she didn’t want to lose her job! I feel this is a sad state of affairs as, I feel a bit peeved at having to pay more for what I have ordered, the young lady’s tone was somewhat off putting (and not what she has been like in the past) and I now feel I don’t want to order from there again. It is also concerning that she feels she might lose her job bless her. It may be time to go back to Radhony? A shame as I have enjoyed the meals from Sangam so much. Thanks anyway!

Ordered the set take away menu online… Absolutely lovely food, definitely enough for 2 people with left overs for day after. Food was hot and they were happy to change the lamb to chicken Bonus of ordering on app there’s 10% off. As order was over £35 for collection got a free bottle of coke(which daughter appreciated)

I am so so sorry to write this review. I looked back at reviews and one of my review was 10/10 6 yrs ago. Yes a lot has happened and financially things have changed especially since covid. However, there is a certain standard that should remain. We rarely go out for meals and have few takeaways but if we do have a takeaway every now and again we do head to our old Sangam in Lostock hall. It used to be brilliant. Great food, a few extras and brilliant service. Tonight i had to ring and complain. The food was so so substandard, it was just awful. It was cold, tasteless and half the original serving of what the imcreased prices should or used to be. We are not ones to complain but honestly I rang them very upset at what they delivered expecting us to accept as the new norm. It was unacceptable and expensive for what little we got. I did speak to a staff member who knew my name from previous orders and explained how unhappy i was but just told they would put it to the chef. There are so many local restaurants and takeaways striving to survive. So Sangam put your orders and customers right and show them that you are still dedicated to serving the best food.

We visited Sangam tonight. There was 14 of us all together. The service was excellent with piping hot beautifully cooked food all served together. Value for money with the banquet meal is excellent. 10 of the party had never been before but we will all definatlty be back. Thank you. Great night.

Great little place, cracking food, and friendly service. THEY DON'T HAVE AN ALCOHOL LICENCE currently, but you can bring your own beer/wine, and they have a fully stocked bar of other stuff (and glasses!). Highly recommend!

Could do with a spruce up but didn't go for the decor the food was spot on.

Went at 7pm on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. Was shown to our table (by a young lady who looked like she was working there to pay off a debt) then asked what we'd like to drink, I asked for larger (not remembering that they no longer serve alcohol) at first, then I asked for lassie, neither we available, so a jug of iced water was ordered for the table. YOU CAN TAKE YOUR OWN ALCOHOL, pity I had not remembered that.. Ordered the set meal and it was enjoyed by all of us, especially the Chicken Korma. The man who took the food order and brought it to the table was very personable and helped make it a great experience.. Would definitely go back with beers from the close by Spar..

Tasty food as always and plenty to fill me up, I love Indian food and Sangam never disappoint, onion bhagi, Prawn puri, chicken jalfrezi and vegetable rice, all absolutely lovely and very fulfilling. I'm very content this evening. Service is alway good and delivery well within time expectancy when ordered. Just cannot fault them, I have been using this restaurant ever since it opened and love it. Would highly recommend.

We visited the Sangam on Sunday night for my husband's birthday there were 10 of us and I'm glad to say it didn't let us down. The food and service were excellent.

Grandson and I visited last week and while I have been a few times and always enjoy the food, he was new to the place and ordered a vegetar ian option, which he thoroughly enjoyed. And being from a large city that is indeed a compliment.

My favourite curry house of ever. Updated 26/8/2022 Im not sure if it's changed hands. The food was still good. Service was OK No alcohol licence, so bring your own or there are a selection of soft drinks. Table cloths are no more, so it feels "cheaper" and the end of meal small glass of bailies / chocolate has been replaced with a Werthers toffe sweet. Still nice. But just not the same as it once was.

Enjoyed the Sunday banquet this evening, best onion bhajis I've ever had! Food was absolutely amazing, good wide variety of choices on the offer, big portions given, we couldn't eat it all! Staff so welcoming and all at a great price. Thank you for a lovely meal guys

Top quality chips, top quality bhajis there isn’t enough I can say when it comes to the Sangam Balti House. My go to. My ride or die. Service is mighty fine and the waitresses especially Lily and Anja at the bar always give a lovely smile to brighten anyones day. Food ordered at 1930 for a 2045 delivery time. Called at 2055 as no food had arrived to be told that all online orders have been ‘lost in the system’ and they ‘just received them all in one go’ The guy said he’ll check order progress and call me back. Didn’t call me back. I called them back at 2105 to be told by someone different that the order is already out and he was unaware of the system fault. Food arrived. Items missing! Average food. Won’t be ordering here again.

Beautiful food, the takeaway option is restaurant quality.

Seems like Sangam has suffered like many other businesses during the pandemic. No bar, bring your own booze, no table clothes, no music and no hot plates to keep your food warm. But the food was excellent as always and I'm sure normal service will be resumed as and when possible.

Eaten here for a good few years fairly frequently, takeaway last week was exceptional and right up to the usual high standards.

Unsure why TripAdvisor are saying this restaurant is closed until 17th November as they are very much open for business. Food is always excellent and staff very polite and accommodating to change in menu requests. Looking forward to celebrating my birthday here in the coming weeks.

We booked in really last minute and they fitted us in no problem! Such flavoursome dishes and really reasonably priced! They dont have an alcohol licence, so recommend you nip to the spar to grab a bottle or two which is also amazing!

last night, 25th August, I visited with my partner for his birthday with our 4 children, ages 16 10 9 3. Took a total chance with this place never been before and it was a worthy risk!! The place is upstairs above some shops, only small not loads of tables, friendly staff, comfy seats! And absolutely amazing yummy food!!!!! It was so so good!!!! Highly impressed and definitely recommend. Everything hot freshly cooked. It was busy as for us as they took part in the eat out and save thing from the government but the staff were all fast on their feet. Only thing to remember is if tou want beer or wine you have to take your own! But soft drinks are available. Free carpark after 6pm right behind.

Wow our takeaway was stunning i was very impressed every dish it was perfect and the best curry I have had for years so every credit to you we will be ordering go from you again and it was of such a high quality the keema nan was fluffy and cooked perfectly. Our chicken tikka Marsala and chicken korma was creamy and very tasty plus the rice was cooked to perfection. A great chef❤️ Thanks

First time having a takeaway from here. Nice naan bread but the Jalfrezi I just had was overwhelmingly salty. Wife said the same about the Balti dish and couldn't finish hers. Not best pleased at all 😔

First time tonight, got a samba and it was like the lid had come off the salt the lemon rice was awful.Very slow service because they were too busy with takeaways No atmosphere and the floor was so bad my chair was moving when ppl walked passed. Can’t understand all the 5 star reviews !! I’ve been to a lot of Indian restaurants and this is definitely the worse. Will never go back !!
