Después de hablar con un caballero llamado Owen el día anterior para ver si podían alojarnos, nos habló cuando llegamos, vino mientras estábamos ellos para ver si queríamos ayuda y fue muy útil. También fue agradable ver un pub ocupado con un montón de personal y no corriendo en el mínimo. Nos sirvieron muy rápido y la mesa se revisó regularmente para los vasos vacíos a limpiar. Personal muy amable.

Excelente comida, gran ambiente amable para el personal y siempre feliz de ayudar a los clientes allí. He estado yendo allí durante años todavía un pub de primera.

Reservaron una mesa para una comida familiar a última hora y aunque no tenían el espacio hicieron el espacio para la ocasión especial que fue muy apreciado. La comida era preciosa. El personal era muy amable y servicial. El gerente fue encantador comprobando en todas las mesas. En general, muy buena experiencia.

Un pub encantador con buen rollo y comida increíble cada vez que hemos venido y el gerente es encantador y siempre atiende a nuestras necesidades xx

Visité The Yacht el viernes por la noche con colegas de trabajo. Pedí comida y bebida del bar, Steve me sirvió, era muy amable y servicial. Me decidí por un plato de pollo, pero no estaba seguro de qué tomar y le pregunté su opinión. Recomendó las brochetas fritas del sur, la comida fue llevada a mi mesa en 10 minutos por Steve y era delicioso. Despejó nuestra mesa cuando terminamos nuestras comidas y nos preguntó si nos gustó. Un servicio eficiente, buena comida y personal amable y sociable. Sean el chef también merece una mención especial, muy sabroso 😋.

This pub is amazing. Every time me and my friends are planning a meet up we always suggest to come here! Once again we arrived to be greeted by the wonderful landlady and shown to a table. The bar staff were super polite and helpful recommending what to have on draught! Could not fault anything!

We are always made to feel welcome by all the staff and the food is always great. They have some brilliant offers which we love to go for especially the sharers and two for one options.

Great atmosphere and service. There was an issue with drinks and a deal that was on in the pub and I have to commend the staff for listening and resolving the issue. Actually incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this pub.

The pub is immaculate, has fast service and very friendly staff nothing is too much of a problem food arrives fresh & sizzling on the plate a very enjoyable meal out. The Gluten Free menu is as enjoyable as the rest

Really enjoy the thursday quiz night at the yacht, we’ve not won yet but enjoy coming back each week to try! Lovely food, good value on drinks and great staff, especially Harriett who hosts the quiz. Would definitely recommend.

In what world can you justify £6.25 for a small orange juice and lemonade mix and £4.75 a pint of lager that includes duty.....! It is a complete rip off.

Always try and pop in when we are down seeing family and once again, did not disappoint. Sue, the landlady is a real character and always a pleasure. Beer is very good and food always on point. Lovely little garden at the back.

After our last enjoyable visit we thought we would give it another try, we was very lucky to get another booking for Mothers Day, once again we was met by the lovely lady at the entrance and was shown to our table. It was very busy but Once again the food came up on time & was beautifully cooked. This is a quality food at a great price. Such a lovely family venue. Thanks again to all the staff for making our Mothers Day a great day out. And a special shout out to the lady at front of house. She works so hard.

Had a great time at the Yacht yesterday, we were out for a family birthday and couldn’t fault anything. The food and service were fantastic and a great atmosphere I would recommend the pub for any occasion. Thanks to all the team.

We have been to the Yacht a good few times and never been disappointed with the food……however, yesterday we went with family and although the food was ok it definitely had gone downhill. The hunters chicken was very dry both the meat and the sauce, bacon and cheese were lacking too. The chips were only lukewarm. The gammon was very thick rather than the thickness and size was not great. Peas a bit hard. Please don’t let this pub’s food go downhill, so many people enjoy the sizzler meals in there, they are usually packed out, I hope yesterday was just a blip.

Went here last night with the family, we was greeted by a lovely lady on arrival and shown to our table. All our food came up very quickly and was all perfectly cooked. The overall service was second to none. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a meal out with the family. They also have a fantastic garden for the summer. It’s very busy so you better book. Thanks to all the staff for making it a great night. We shall be back.

went to the yacht on a thursday night with 2 friends for a meal and to take part in the quiz.the food was really good and the service at the bar and from the waitress was excellent.we played the guiz hosted by a lovely lady called harriet,where we did ok and entered into ,open the box ,where after answering a question correctly won the princely sum of 90 pounds.. all in all a very enjoyable and profitablr evening.thank you all the staff

Smerdon Lunch Club paid a visit to The Yacht. We had some confusion with the Blue Light Card. Don't try using a Greene King deal as they will only accept a Flaming Grill deal.

Only ever had consistently great experiences in this pub. At the moment they have a great January deal on called 'feed the family' for £15. It's a really good bargain of two adult mains and two kids meals. Had a great time with great and quick service as usual. Make sure you book in advance however, as it can get quite busy since its so great!

Visited today for lunch. Staff were swearing when conversing with each other, in loud voices, so customers could clearly hear them. Totally unacceptable!! Will not be returning. The food was mediocre so that wouldn’t even entice us to return.

Really great steak meal for my husband and myself. Have visited many times and always enjoyed our food. Nice atmosphere for a Friday late afternoon meal.

Staff are always fantastic and friendly. Sue the manager sat us to our table, went to the bar to order and was served by Deven. Food came out quickly and was very hot as was on a skillet. Have been plenty of times for sport in their over 18's area and never had any issues.

We often eat here, usually on a Thursday for the evening quiz. The food is always good and have never had any issues over the two years we have been going. Thursday quiz is fun too, always well run by Harriet.

We come here often. There is a great kids playground and lots of outside seating. The garden has recently been revamped and now has a large covered area too. The food is pub grub, but cooked well and reasonably priced. Thursday is quiz night which we come to most weeks.

We are a local befriending charity Evergreen Care UK and we visit the Yacht once a month for our Friends together socials. We are a mixture of volunteers and the elderly people they visit, who get together for a quiz and some food and drinks. the staff have always been very friendly, helpful and always have our area ready when we come.

Met up with old friend, both of us decided on gammon, him with egg, me with pineapple, and both considered that was the best, tastiest piece of gammon we'd had for a long time. I can't cook my gammon at home as good as that, well done The Yacht. Keep up the good work, we will be back.

Came for dinner with my partner the other day and had a lovely experience. It’s a welcoming pub as we were greeted at the door and on our way out and staff were very attentive. I had the roast chicken dinner and my partner had the rump steak with beef dripping gravy. Steak was cooked perfectly and my roast was lovely and a generous portion for the price. I would definitely recommend but I would book as it can get very busy.
