We were a party of 7 celebrating a birthday. You get a buzzer that alerts you when it's free to go to the carvery. There are 4 meats to choose from, 6 or 7 vegetables, plus lovely gravy and sauces. And really lovely Yorkshire puddings. We all enjoyed our meal, and only 3 of us had room for a dessert, we had the ice cream. A Really enjoyable time, and good value

Held my Fathers wake here. Both brothers were helpful and friendly and put on a lovely spread. Very accommodating with the lay out, a refreshment station and allowing cakes from outside catering. Definitely recommend.

Quite a large Pub, it has good seating for food and drinks and a fairly large garden. On our visit there seemed rather a shortage of staff so food took over an hour from order to be delivered, this was over the Goodwood Revival Weekend where they were charging £300 premium per room (should be more £50). So considering they were raking in the cash, they should have paid to staff the venue more effectively. Food quality was fine though, pub grub and a decent portion. Everyone was happy with the food when it eventually arrived. The bedrooms are small, old, hot and cheaply furnished.

I had the carvery. I never had to wait long for service. The staff are friendly. The food was excellent at a reasonable price. I’ve been a few times and never been disappointed.

Stayed here for two nights at end of October. The room, in the annex, was clean and comfortable with twin beds. The food was really good with the carvery on the Saturday night being excellent. The big problem was with the charging of my car. There are a considerable number of charge points all of which are installed and run by POWERSHARE. I needed to charge my car which resulted in being charged £1.20 per Kwh. Disgraceful. I was charged just over £20.00 for 2hrs. 20 minutes and then they added on vat bringing the total to £25.00. Be careful as they advertise installing their devices at pubs and hotels.

Never been before just stopped as pew were passing and called in to see if they were still serving the carvery which they were. A good choice of meat and veg with a excellent and tasty stuffing and a gravy that was so tasty would have drunk a cup as a drink on its own. We will certainly go back. The price for a carvery was also excellent.

Do not eat here. After waiting a long time for our food it was disgusting! The pie bowl was covered in hair, the chips where 90% uncooked and inedible! The pie tasted horrible and had 3 pieces of meat total! My friends sausages where undercooked and mash had no mustard in even though the menu called it mustard mash.Avoid at all costs! Hunger is better than the food here

Our holidays are taken with our family, and that includes our dogs. I always look up dog friendly places to eat & on our recent holiday, on our way to a resort, we stopped here. I still ask if they are happy with dogs - in the porch was a pot Laborador, against a large dog bowl - so no problems (wrong!). No-one was at the bar apart from an elderly woman, who didn't move. Then she went to the other side of the bar (I nipped around, and there was just 2 in) - came back & started drawing a half. I asked if we could come in with our 2 well behaved dogs, she stared at me for ages, then said "what size", Dalmatians - she paused again, then said "No". On enquiring why, I was told (after another pause - she was pulling the other half then) - only small dogs. There were 2 tables out side (busy road, so fumes with everything) & as it was gone 1pm, I asked if was OK to sit outside & eat - another pause, then a "yes". It was bizarre. I took 2 menus, we chose, & I went inside to order & pay. To say it was quick would be a lie. Maybe she didn't want to be there, but if this lady is the landlady, then shame on you.The order took a long time, & the only reason I am giving 3 stars, is because it was OK. Bangers & mustard mash with veg for me (the better of the 2 meals, those sausages were lovely - & they is a shop in the pub selling them), my husband Cajun chicken was very dry with a tiny pot of sause - reading it, it had sounded like it was a hot sauce over the chicken - but this was just in a tiny pot like spicy tomato sauce. Would we go there again? Never. Over the week, we found SO many lovey, friendly, dog pubs to eat who were happy to take our money & make us feel wanted.

Family friendly music festival, with a good mix of performers. Some interesting 'tobacco' was being smoked throughout the evening..😊, which resulted in a lot of happy people..😁.

First time visit here with friends. Found the place to be very quiet. Staff were friendly. Food menu was fairly varied, but the food was quite mediocre. Not sure we would visit here again to be honest.

7 of us drove by & found this pub by chance, as not from the area! We each had a thoroughly enjoyable carvery lunch. Wonderful value & could have all 4 meats on offer! Will definitely return!

The carvery was lovely, the chef who served was very nice, cannot fault the food. However there was an older lady who we believe was the land lady, she just stood there staring at us which was very unnerving, she moaned at us about the children with us. It’s a shame because the food and other staff were great.

We called in here for a drink having just arrived for a short break in Bosham. The pub was almost empty and there was one guy waiting in the bar area to check in for accommodation. An older couple seemed to be running the place. The lady had to tear herself away from reading the paper in order to serve our drinks and was not at all friendly. An older man then appeared behind the bar so I said a breezy hello, to be responded to with a grunt. The Sunday lunch advertising looked really interesting but by the time we got to Sunday we decided not to risk it and went elsewhere. The pub itself has been really nicely refurbished and there is a lovely garden (with a kids play area I believe). It seems such a shame to have spent a lot of money on doing it up so nicely only to put people off visiting there by being so unwelcoming.

We stayed here for one night only, as we were going to the pub down the road for new Year's. The room was adequate and was budget standard for a budget price.

No había mesas. Así que tuvieran nuestras bebidas y a la izquierda. Decepcionante final una comida encantadora.

I entered teh shop for a take away as I was shopping in Chichester and was hungry. I saw a very inviting looking pasty 'Beef and chilli' advertised at £4.70 take way price. I offered a £5 Bank of England note (Legal tender in England I am led to believe). I was told 'I am unable to accept cash' I shall be complaining to trading standards about this but in the mean time please don't shop here until they accept the currency of the land.

This place is always busy around lunchtime, hardly surprising given the value. Sadly, I have recently found that my clothes have smelt of smoke after I leave, which is unusual these days. I have also found the food to sometimes be undercooked, which can spoil things. Whilst I respect the concept, this place is a victim of it's own success, offering value that is head and shoulders above anywhere else of it's kind.
