Only here for drinks but the service was diabolical. You only have to be polite, say hello and please and thank you. Don't you know that pubs are closing all the time. You have to stand out, and I'm sorry but you don't and I won't be here again

Been here a couple of times for drinks. Nice atmosphere. Staff are friendly. Good choice of drinks. Would like to visit for food, but haven’t yet.

We visited this bar on a Thursday evening just before it started to get busy. We had tapas beer and cocktails which were to a excellent standard the staff behind the bar were so charming we will definitely return thanks for a fantastic evening

Have been here twice now for Sunday lunch. Food always arrives promptly and delicous. Great vegetarian options and always tastes homemade. Great service and a lovely selection of wine. On both occasions had a great experince. Atmospher really relaxing. Would highly recommend.

They say you can judge a business by it's customers, well.. We visited on the evening of 10th December only to be offended by the behaviour of a group with 'Social difficulties' (a euphemism). Management were unfortunately indifferent. Our first visit and our last.

What a horrendous first impression of a place.. Was having a quiet drinks around town and visited here briefly. Found ourselves (my female partner in particular) surrounded by abusive customers paying unwanted attention. Apparently they were part of an obviously poorly organised Singles Event business called We Just Clicked or something. Unfortunately letting such people in speaks volumes of the Wine Room especially as staff did little to assist us.

We been few times at Wine room city. Really good Sunday lunch/dinner. Standards are keept high. I like decor , and overall ambience. Friendly Staff. Will definitely back(as I love not loud , more romantic lunch time, it is good to escape from being mum and have time for date with hubby)

Our family of four adults booked a Groupon Sunday lunch. Two of us had beef and the other two the chicken. All of us enjoyed our meals and the service was extremely friendly.

Went for food and drinks after seeing positive reviews - food was lovely - we ordered a selection of small plates, all were delicious and beautifully presented. Service was excellent too and a good choice of wines/ cocktails - will definitely be visiting again

Visited the Wine Room today in Nottingham. We ordered the beef roast and the pork belly, everything was cooked perfectly and outrageously flavoursome. I would recommend the cauliflower cheese! The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. I will definitely be visiting again .

We and my husband visited for Sunday lunch on a weekend trip to Nottingham! It was absolutely delicious! I had the beef and my husband the lamb! Both superb! Cauliflower cheese was delicious! . The staff were very friendly and the wine also was great! Will definitely visit again on our next trip! If we were local would be a regular occurrence that’s for sure!

The food was absolutely fantastic & one of the best roasts I have had in a very long time. The service was polite & sincere with everyone doing their best. Just forgot our drinks or it would definitely have been a 5. Will certainly go back.

Had Sunday lunch and it was fabulous. Great choice of meat (including lamb) and a vegetarian option. I had the butternut squash wellington which was delicious, my partner had the lamb and said it was cooked to perfection. Nice surroundings and friendly, helpful staff. Presentation was superb. On the expensive side so definitely better for a special occasion. Overall experience fabulous, we will return.

Just had a wonderful roast dinner. Succulent meat, crispy roasties, huge Yorkshire pud. Great value on Groupon. Friendly staff. Nice place. Will definitely be back.

We went in a group for a leaving do and the small plates work beautifully for this. We had two rounds of food. The risotto and halloumi were particularly good. Some are better value for money than others. The wine was superb, as you would expect for a wine led venue. Great night, big thanks to the staff.

The wine city room is a good venue but I prefer what it use to the head of steam, it had a better atmosphere and comfy chairs for drinkers, worth a visit for a quick pint

We visited here on Mothers Day and had a delicious roast dinner. I thought it was rather expensive but the food was lovely and the staff were polite and attentive. Would definitely visit again.

Our food was delicious ,and the service was excellent ,really nice chilled out place , ideal for a cosy midweek night out .Will definitely go again .

Good Sunday roast dinners are pretty hard to come by in a restaurant, but this place excelled. Not only is it the only Lamb roast in Nottingham, its near the best lamb I have ever had. Great selection of Wines. Great staff and service.

Very fine wine.. So relaxing area. Cozy and friendly. Food great. Its a must. Always great to catch up with friends&family

A great space, tastefully decorated with a huge selection of wines, spirits and beers. The food is excellent with the Sunday roast being a particular star as it’s the only place in the city that does Lamb and does it really well! Good atmosphere and...

Everything was lovely, the small plates we shared were really tasty and the pizza was thin and crisp, but the sweet potato fries were to die for! We washed it all down with a glass or two of lovely wine. Highly recommend.
