Yesterday, i was served by an amazing member of staff named katrina. She was amazing and served me and my mum with a bright, lovely smile.I did request a question about a nut allergy, and she was really careful and helpful with all the details. She also mentioned that a family member had a nut allergy where she's really concerned about it how life-threatening can be. I'm very happy that she understood my predicament,where it makes me feel safe. Definitely I be back again in the future

They really need to do more to stop people smoking outside, I get fed up sitting outside only for someone next to me to be blowing their dirty smoke over, I really hate the smell of smoke it is disgusting.

The organic coffee was full of flavour. Only 99p. We sat outside in the sun.

Rude member of staff pushed infront of me while I was deciding which sandwich to have . Pulling things forward could have waited until I had finished .Very Rude just walked out without purchasing

Always love pret, grabbed some food to go for lunch, chicken laksa soup - delicious, everything just right spice level, thickness, ingredients I think pret food is fresh, healthy(ish) and so tasty

A great big than you to the staff who took the time to ensure my soup was gluten free. They recognized me the next day and were equally helpful. This was always my go to when I lived in Nottingham, it was nice to see not much has changed. Thank you.

Food always lovely. Service isn’t the best staff can be quite bitter but they are always busy but a smile goes along way.

Massive price increases on takeaway food. but you can save by signing up to the club, taking on one hand giving it away in another. I’ve always purchased takeaway food from here and Coffee just one of my favourites, but sadly I won’t be doing it anymore.

These guys clearly have an issue listening to their customers because they consistently get my order (for one coffee!) wrong. Worse is their attitude when told it’s incorrect. I used to pay for a coffee subscription here as I work in town every day, but now I tend to visit places that value my custom a bit more.

Horrible customer service. Terrible attitude! Especially the guy wear in green shirt. I’d give a -1000star if I can unfortunately there’s no option. Ordered iced coffee, it’s extremely bitter, back to ask for sugar nicely, he asked me to put sugar in a iced coffee!?? Excuse me, how is it possible to melt. Asked nicely again if they have sugar syrup. He was just very impatient saying, what do you want me to do. Please management should look into their customer service/attitude. Thanks

Unfortunately I can’t give a 0 so consider yourself grateful for the 1 star, there was no system for the the queue it was all over the place, I ordered a large latte with 3 shots, and I was given a summer iced drink, then when I asked for my order I was given a small latte, I asked if it was 3 shots to which I was ignored several times to be told “no that’s a large” well I paid for a large.. they clearly have an issue of listening to their customers, and the attitude was ridiculous and after all that it wasn’t even that nice my nan who’s blind has made me a better latte.

Staff friendly and very efficient lovely to see happy faces serving you. Shop and eating area very clean thoroughly nice shop.

Good range of freshly prepared lubches and snacks available to suit many dietary requirements, including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. Set in an easily accessible location in the city centre with searing both inside and outside. Can get rather busy at lunch times.

I always find it very tricky to review a franchise branch like Starbucks, Pret, Nero, Costa or Columbus etc etc. Do you review on the taste which is mostly same across all branches or do you review them for staff courtesy which more or less falls along same spectrum of hospitality due to their training. Even location isn't a definite criteria for reviewing such places as you can find a branch in your neighborhood, city everywhere. So I always base my review on how a visit made me feel and did it add some zing to my day. This visit definitely hit that bell. I am a big fan of a classic Reuben. Unfortunately, a true Reuben is hard to find in Nottingham. After my highly sorted place disappointed me with an abomination in name of Reuben, I just chose to have an evening coffee to eliminate that sore experience. Pret High Street was nearby so this is place I chose. I had a look at their ready-to-eat stuff and surprisingly to my unawareness they have added a Reuben Toastie (at least there was at time of my visit). I fell in love with its authentic look and decided to have a second Reuben attempt for the day. Added my favorite Flat White and prayed that this surprise item won't be as bad as the premium priced I tried nearby. On a positive pulse, it tasted better than I expected from a coffee franchise. Not the best Reuben of my life but less than half price and 10 times better than 15GBP I wasted an hour back. What a turn around for the day. I never have 5 star expectations from Pret branch staff or any such place. For me the Reuben I got made my day and its more than enough for a positive review from me.

Very disappointed. I haven't used Pret for some time but decided to pop in for lunch. The sensation of grit in the first half of my duck wrap I disregarded. It wasn't enough to be other than vaguely disappointed about. Half way through the second bit though, I had to stop before risking my teeth! When I raised this with staff, really just to let them know, there was no apology but the rather unconvincing promise of "I'll check them"! Really, they'll check them, leaf by leaf, maybe seiving the sauce? The only proper response was to remove them from sale; there were in any event only a few left. I expected better.

Quality stuff from Pret as always.

Good atmosphere and nice cozy cafe. They also said smoothies sweet greens, tropical peach and berries and cherries.

Had a subscription for 3 months. Drinks ok but service often slow, stroppy and rude. It's clear that the staff are just passing on to customers the same poor attitude they get from management. On my last day a staff member barked at me in front of the entire shop when I was being reasonable. No thanks

Nice selection of different coffee's to choose from with great staff at the bar and good atmosphere. In winter time the place is nice and warm that's only if someone remembers too - Close the shop door! 😎

The Pret in Nottingham has been around for many years. I have always worked in the city and have always found the food and drinks here to be very very good. The staff are excellent and always friendly. I recently subscribed to the monthly barista drinks deal at £25 a month which is exceptional value. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is it really does need an overhaul as the place looks a little tired plus the tables need to be cleaned better and more frequently in my opinion.

After my journey to Pret today, a customer picked up my drink and escalated with the Pret team stating that was the incorrect drink…I find it hilarious how some people’s mind works. I then had to state it was my own drink whereas hers was served right after. The person left a review complaining about Pret messing up her drink, so I’m leaving a review complaining about her taking my drink.

The staff was very rude i really didn’t like the way they talked to me. I ordered a drink and they gave me a completely different drink and when I went to tell them they messed up kindly they started laughing at me and saying that I was the one that messed up then after they gave me the right drink very aggressively they rolled their eyes at me.

I chose Pret A Manger (Nottingham) as I'm still unhappy about using a cafe which is busy and has the door closed, i.e. there is no ventilation. Pret A Manger had the door permanently open, so I felt safer. It was good to see the delicious array of food in offer - I really enjoyed my smoked salmon sandwich and flapjack bar. The service was extremely efficient and very friendly. Thanks 👍

No one wants to hear stories about how they where overcharged and not given the opportunity to ask for a receipt.. Oat tea and iced latte with double caramel And chicken and avocado sandwich should not cost (£13.70) The iced latte was made wrong initially and then after they didn’t even put the double caramel shot in ……

There is only 1 Pret in Nottingham now . They closed the bigger one down which was a pity as it was quite spacious. The one left is a bit small, They need a new bigger , brighter outlet to cope with demand.

Really lovely staff they are all so polite especially 2 blonde girls one of them is with an accent and has a beautiful laugh and radiating positivity. While the other one speaks warmly and uses nice phrases like here you go love😄i just love the staff. We need a bigger Pret cause it’s always full.

Extreamly rude staff! Very passive aggressive and when I told him he was being passive aggressive he complained that he doesn’t get paid enough to deal with this. Honestly I was very shocked at how rude the staff was. Even if your having a bad day there is not excuse to be rude to a customer.

I've been coming to this Pret for about 6 months, and in the last 2 the atmosphere has soured even more than when I first went there. The staff screaming orders and, rightly or wrongly I don't know, getting angry with customers has created a very tense environment, leading to me sadly having to find an alternative coffee shop. Friends have found the staff extremely rude, though I have not personally encountered this.

I went to get a drink from nottingham caffe the guy who was on the till at time didn't even place my order and made me wait longer for no reason. This happen to me 3 times with same member of staff THE BIG QUESTION IS WHY. I asked why but no answer very bad altitude?? .the rest of the staff are excellent

Worse customer service ever! The staff in the counter was very rude. He took eat-in price from me (I told him it was take away and didn’t ask for utensils) and I couldn’t even say anything because he was rushing people and was very rude. I like Pret a lot but won’t be going to Nottingham Pret ever again and won’t recommend.

Most of the staff are professional, however one of the employees is very rude to the customers. The coffee is good.

I visited this pret and was robbed of £5 thinking I was paying for my food but it was a donation to pret. I was already paying too much for some melon and a bottle of water why would I want to donate more. This meant I ended up paying £8.75 and the melon was flaverless and sh*t going to greggs next time.

Even though the line was very long I was served with drink in hand in a very impressively quick time! Top service, top drink quality. With the subscription service I can’t fault Pret in any way!

Had a snack here on a sunny day and enjoyed the outside area to eat my vanilla latte and pain au raisin. Quick service and the place was clean and tidy. Great location.

Fairly pricey but you know what you're getting with a chain however if you join their monthly coffee club you can get 4 cups a day for twenty quid and if you work near to one it's perfect for a morning coffee and maybe one at lunch....cannot go wrong for the price but be aware you will spend on extras as they always look so appealing

Outside area in a disgraceful, filthy state. Litter on the tables and under the tables. Tables were sticky and unwashed. Manager was rude to me .Referred to me as 'Sir' even though I was dressed as a woman . Does he not know about trans people? I saw one man scraping the dirt off a table with a card !

What a most dear place to a food from won't go there again very very expensive

Me and my wife have a coffee subscription and when we came , my wife gave me her phone with QR code to order flat white for her . Unfortunately I was refused the service as a team member informed me that I couldn't use someone other code on top of mine . Ridiculous.

Service 1 star.. What's the point to have a queue barrier if only one line is being called to the till Six people in the queue, 5 people behind the bar, 15 min waiting for a coffee I was working for Pret for 2 years and know exactly what it takes to work in a busy shop, this level of service below any expectations

Super friendly staff and amazing quality products on offer

The food was really warm and freshly cooked, however the staff weren't very helpful and kind of just extremely rushing for customers which made the journey quite annoying.

Gareth should crack a smile everyone once in a while or quit because he looks like he genuinely despises every customer. He is widely known as the ‘angry’ man amongst regular pret frequenters. He is very condescending and makes me scared to order from him. Other than that food and drinks are very nice. If you see Gareth please be nice to him and encourage him to smile so he remembers that he works in hospitality.

I love Pret and has always been one of my favourite coffee shops. I understand with the current pandemic and the enforcement of masks it can sometimes be difficult to understand what people have said. So I went the other day I ordered a latte with oat milk. To then be given an iced latte. I told the server that this wasn't my order as I cannot have dairy, and it was a hot latte. He then rudely responded 'no that's not what you said' he then proceeded to roll his eyes. The drink was made again but it was wrong for the second time. However, because of his attitude the first time I didn't want to have to explain again. It was a busy day and I understand times can be stressful at the moment. I just wish the customer service was a little nicer on my last visit.

Nice coffee and great service. Due to the layout of the branch and with Covid-19 in mind you can even wait and/or queue outside without disrupting or impacting the system. Unhygenic practice especially as the staff saw a customer who got their order mixed up clearly handle my order and drink part of it. I tried get their attention and they ignored it. Which is terrible as that staff clearly saw what happened and we're in the middle of a pandemic too.... It's worrying to see some of the staff members forget the drink they've just made and they get mixed up too which can be dangerous especially if a customer has an allergy. It's a shame as I really enjoy the coffee but with some of the staff showing a gross negligence in hygiene it makes the cafe look pretty poor...

As we all know we are in a global pandemic!! Pret have really handled the situation terribly, because there is no social distancing 😷,and there's unlimited numbers, allowed in the café at once not only do I find this shocking it is absolutely disgraceful, that a well known chain of a cafe that is supposed to have high standards like prets allows this to happen I have been a customer to this store for many years, and I have never seen anything as awful as this for the years I've been visiting this store for and the service is getting poorer as time goes on too as most of the staff aren't friendly and when they employ someone new they haven't trained them well enough to make hot drinks because I've had to ask them to remake them many times I have also sent a complaint to customer services about this issue and they have completely ignored it, they really aren't taking this pandemic seriously at all I am so angry,I was actually hoping that prets wouldn't close in Nottingham because I like the food but unfortunately the way they've dealt with this pandemic I'm extremely disappointed,so stopped caring and one more thing I have reminded the staff on numerous occasions,to clean the tables so I can sit at the table after the previous customer has left, being in a global pandemic like the one we are in makes this more important,to especially sanitise hard surfaces!! and as the title of this review suggests it is a zoo! Especially when everyone looks like they're squashed in a cage together 2 mm apart, one piece of advice don't go in there to eat in if you don't want to contract covid-19.

I truly love this place but had a very unpleasant experience. I politely made a request for a new drink as I returned my drink due to it having a shot of caramel inside. When returned, the member of staff unfortunately tried to prove to me that I have asked for the caramel in my drink. This must have been just misunderstanding on his part, however I wanted to touch on that trying to prove to the customer that they did get what they asked for and not owning the mistakes is a bit out of place in customer service. The person later kindly apologised for behaviour. This must have been a long day for them anyway.

Fantastic the batista Daniel made my day. Lovely fella. Asked for a strawberry smoothie without banana and he was able to deliver. Very happy 😄

Rude service. The blond girl with the glasses and fringe is so rude is unacceptable. How they even let those kinda people work ,I don't get it

No cleaning of tables, just one hand sanitiser available. No social distancing/ queueing system in place. Felt unsafe and packed in. And no functioning QR code for NHS track and trace facility.

It's a wee bit overpriced and my coffee was really bitter.

Every time I've order they have done what I have asked for and during the busy time it was made pretty quick in under 3 minutes at least

Regular place for coffee,unfortunately today at 4:45pm all tables were full of used cups and food waste.No place to enjoy the coffee. No effort made to clean the tables outside.It's usually the same most days,except when a fellow by the Name of Gareth is on duty.He still manages to keep the interior and exterior clean and tidy,even with the same amount of staff.Sack the rest!!

I ordered for home delivery (the current Covid situation is keeping us home), the order wasn't an especially large or complicated one, but several items ordered were missing and others had been substituted in their place (essentially several variations on mac & cheese, rather than the hot wraps expected). Upon ringing them I was told that since they hadn't got any of the wraps left they'd opted to throw in pretty much what they liked! Offering for me to come into the restaurant on another day is no good to me, especially in the current environment, what they should have done was declined the order in the first instance since they couldn't fulfill it. The 'replacements' sent were not liked by any of our party, so two people went hungry this time.

Server 'gerda' misheard my order, proceeded to accuse me of lying and then dismissed and did not even apologise for the inconvenience. I find this appealing as I am the customer spending my hard earned money in such a pandemic to be treated so abruptly is truly disheartening. I haven no choice then to take this as a racial attack as I watched her happily serve and adhere politely to other customers that happen to be white.

One of my most regular spots in the city. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming even on the darkest of mornings/days! Especially the lady with the short hair :) (sorry I forgot your name) The quality of the food and drinks have always been to a very high standard and they really take into account any allergies and personal requirements. The discount cup scheme has been fantastic and I've enjoyed using my reusable cup and help the environment. Thank you for always providing a top standard of service, the most friendliest cafe in town :) See you soon! Hope the virus isn't effecting the business so much
