Food was fantastic and staff are lovely, dog friendly and the environment is superb. My family loves it at the wheelhouse and we will be coming back regularly

We had lunch at the wheelhouse today We explained that we were in a rush as we had an appointment in area My goodness the new menu at lunchtime was lovely. I had some sort of lamb in a wrap very refreshing loved the source.my husband had a ham egg and cheese melt we both enjoyed it staff were very friendly And helped us get our food quickly as we didn’t have long… we loved the wheelhouse and often have lunch here. New menu is perfect. Keep smiling guys see you next visit.

Came here for dessert and was thoroughly impressed with the horseshoe donut. Really nice filling and with ice cream squirty cream and strawberries. Pub was nice and clean and staff very friendly. Will come again

I have been working in the area for a few days and have eaten here repeatedly. The staff are very welcoming and efficient. The food is amazing value and pretty good.

The family went today for Fathers Day Breakfast. It was excellent quality and the price was very good. We will be going on a regular basis and can recommend it.

Lunch time. Very disappointed.. Fish, chips very dry, tiny spoonful of mushy peas Lovely venue but wouldn't eat there again!!!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the wheelhouse today it was rammed full when we got there at 3:30 something going off in Wollaton Park which clearly brought more customers in although we had to wait a long time for our food we were warned about this. I was quite happy to sit there and chat and drink our drinks …. the Staff were running around keeping on top of everything keeping the place clean. It was very very busy.when our food arrived we tucked in and thoroughly enjoyed it. We all had turkey roast we can definitely recommend ..See you next month guys.

I dont normally write reviews but i honestly much show my appreciation to the 3 ladies that worked last night they gave me and my friends such fantastic service and really gave us all a much needed laugh whilst quite frankly working to the bone on a very very busy night. I hope the management team give them some kind of credit or something for all there hard work we will certainly be returning and hope that the 3 ladies are on again.

This pub as a really nice atmosphere Iv been here for lunch a couple of times food was served on time and was delicious, staff were very friendly and even the landlord was out chatting to everyone would highly recommend

The Wheelhouse is the number one pub this side of Nottingham! There’s a reason why people come from all over. The prices and deals are unbeatable and the staff always look after the lads and I. The food is decent and it’s a pleasure to get beat by the bossman, every time we come, at pool.

I’ll be honest. I’m from the south of notts, so live nowhere near this pub or the former, but I followed management here from their former premises due to the amazing service / food and atmosphere we had in their prior place. Sometimes it isn’t the location, but the staff who make your experience and this place is no exception. I love how family orientated it is, the food is amazing and service second to none. X

We went for a family meal on Sunday and it was very good.Sunday roast was excellent and very tasty, portions are big and service was excellent.Definitely we will be back soon

I came in with my partner and family, ordered using the app, the women who dropped our drinks at the table was wearing a burgundy shirt, eye make up, larger set lady, well as she put the drinks down she didn’t even apologise for the 15 minute wait, no smile or anything just put the drinks down and walked off, I’ve heard that burgundy shirts mean “supervisor” we didn’t receive any check on our meals to see how they were, burgers= ROCK solid, chicken, dry and clearly cooked for that long that you could knock someone out with it. Won’t be visiting again, place has gone right down hill, unfriendly staff and rubbish management, the lady manager walked past us around 6 times without asking if everything was okay. Terrible service.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the young lady on the bar tonight she really made my mothers day special, she was so polite and helpful and i cant reccomemnd her anymore the food was also very yummy

I’ve visited the wheelhouse a few times now, every time I am greeted with friendly and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed whether it’s going out for a meal or just a few drinks with friends. I would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you to Pete and his staff

Me and my wife decided to give the the wheelhouse a try we both decided to try out the curry night. We both wished we never bothered I wanted to try the jalcrazy curry but they didn’t have any this was at 1700 not good on curry night? So I hat the beef madras and my wife had the tikka masala. Our food arrived VERY quickly on arrival my wife’s masala looked like a lite coloured gravy and it tasted nothing like tikka masala I had madras which also tasted nothing like madras and burnt onion bhaji were burnt very disappointing

The service was pretty good even though the football was on and they were busy. Also a man who was friendly and offered us a free drink. Changed my life never had such good service the thinking leaving makes me want to cry but all good things must come to an end

There is an offer that when you order one burger you get the other one for free. So I ordered a burger expecting the free one to come as well, as in other Green King pubs. Waiter brings one burger to the table, when asked where is the other one, she says you have to order two on the app. Nowhere does it say put 2 in order to get one for free. In other pubs like Fox and Crown they bring the second one straight away without asking. Absolute rip off, rude and incompetent staff.

Came for lunch with the family and what a pleasant experience it was. We where greeted by a blonde woman, possibly a manager she was very helpful, the rest of the staff where also very nice. Food is responsibly priced and didn't take long to come out.

Disappointed with the covid measures as no perspex screens between the tables and no doors were open to let in fresh air.We were told to order via the app when arrived but customers were still allowed to buy drinks from the bar.Food was good for a pub meal and staff were all wearing masks all the time.Definitely room for improvement needed.
