Just wanted to thank the staff who worked hard and made us feel so welcome. The buffet food we ordered was excellent. A very enjoyable afternoon. Would totally reccomend this venue.

We had a cousin meet up for my sister who’s not well. What a lovely night we had here at the Wheatsheath! The staff are so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Tammy sorted out our menus she is lovely and so helpful. As there was 15 of us we had the Buffett. The food was amazing and such good value for money with lots to choose from. We was given our own seating area, still in the main area just 2 steps up from the rest of the pub, which was very private. The manager was always popping up to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. There was also a DJ he played everything we asked for and even joined in with the dancing, he made our night! we are now planing another night as soon as we all can.

We had a problem when visiting for a Sunday lunch at the start of the Christmas menu . We ended up paying for courses that were not supplied ( no gluten free option) we had confirmed two people in our group were gluten free at the time of booking. We wrote to the head office and took a copy of our letter into the pub. No one has ever come back to us. We were made to feel very embarrassed when trying to sort out the bill. So disappointing.

Booked for a group of art friends, there were about 14 of us. I had never been to the pub before so was a bit worried, but the service was good considering the the size of the group. Every enjoyed the food and it came out at the same time except two people which they gave a free dessert to. The staff said that the Sunday roast is good so I booked a couple of weeks later for my daughter’s birthday (10 of us) I’m sorry to say that it wasn’t very good 🙁 it was a shame perhaps we should have gone for the other menu. Will return for lunch but not for a Sunday roast.

We had planned to go somewhere else and this was a spur of the moment decision. Our waitress was Izzabelle who is a wonderful young lady, she was very patient as some of us made a few alterations to our meals, nothing was too much. She was very friendly and accommodating. I just wanted to take this opportunity to give a shoutout to Izzabelle. We were also attended to by Tammy who was great too and very warm and friendly. I did make a comment thinking she was the manager because she had an air of being management. The food was better than expected with a varied menu that also had a couple of lovely vegan desserts, I recommend the Vegan cheesecake delicious. We sat outside and it was pleasant under shaded area with a roof cover. There were 4 of us and all went well. Thank you so much.

After visiting this pub which has been one of our regular places to go over past few years and always had great service from past staff, my partner and I received such bad and unprofessional service from the manager (worse the pub has ever had I have to say), that I had to warn other people. My partner complained about a drink which the manager refused to put right saying the bar was closed. Any professional manager knows that the customer is always right and is eager to keep his customers happy but no. This guy then literally 'shoved' a bottle of the drink we complained about, in my partners face! What for, I have no idea. Rude and unprofessional bar staff roll their eyes at you and give you attitude too. I have to say one member of staff Clare, is the only one who treats customers with respect. The others, especially the manager, needs a few lessons in customer courtesy. We will not be returning to this pub and have told a great many of our friends to avoid it too. Disgraceful.

Popped along here with friends straight after it re-opened and was impressed with the socially distanced set up and hygiene measure put in place. It was great to get out again and good to see this venue open again.

This was a third visit for a lunchtime meal. The menu is quite reasonable and the food is good value-for-money. The staff were attentive and professional. The overall decor is a little jaded in the daylight - but I suspect this appears much better during an evening of live music.

Three of us went for lunch on a nostalgic visit and we were impressed by the improvements made to the Pub over the years. Apart from the overall ambience we were pleased to be greeted by cheerful staff who were keen to be helpful. The beer was well kept and the food was plentiful and very reasonably priced. Each of us had a different dish and one was vegetarian. All were delicious.

We were hoping to have a Sunday lunch in the Eynsford or Shoreham area but all the pubs out there were fully booked So we ended up at The Wheatsheaf; I should have guessed when we phoned up and they had space! I had roast beef which was over cooked, the carrots were too sweet and the gravy far too salty. For dessert tried the Malva pudding which was just a small portion of sponge pudding by a different (an expensive) name. Won’t be bothering again.

Went for family Sunday lunch recently. The food was ok for the price tag £12 nothing special but could have been warner. Coffee served was cold had to be returned but was changed quickly with an apology. We were charged for an extra dinner and on pointing this out to the waitress she just took the bill away, amended it, placed it back on the table and said 'it's right now'. We all make mistakes but not a single attempt at an apology 'sorry' 'oops' 'oh dear' would have done. The restaurant was not busy and maybe that's why ! It's such a shame this used to be a lovely pub with great food just don't know what's happened. I'm a local but I just don't visit now as it's not the same

We stopped here for lunch and drinks. Our orders were taken. Then we were told the food was no longer being served. Then we were told we could have sandwiches. Then we were told actually, no, food is in fact again, not being served. Service was poor. The hot drinks were abysmal. The attitude of the bar staff left an awful lot to be desired. It really is unacceptable when your job is to make a drink, that you just can't, or can't be bothered as the case may be. Avoid this place. It's not even cheap.

Visiting family for Christmas, (I'm from Lincolnshire), was shocked how rediculously expensive everything was in Bromley including even basic food, l could have a 3 course meal in Lincoln for price of a starter is some of the places here!! The Terrace Cafe was a breath of fresh air, really acceptable prices, big menu and good quality food, surprised also on the decent portion sizes. Not surprised they were busy! (I'm writing this review while still in the cafe). Well done guys.

Warm friendly atmosphere with great coffee and food. Portion sizes are very good so don’t agree with some of the negative comments

Used to be such a good coffee, but the last few times were horrible. The baristas don't know how to heat oat milk and just burn it. Water glasses were filthy, probably from washing in same water as stuff covered in batter mix. Great crepes, but elsewhere for coffee!

Service with a smile on a Sunday morning. Went there for coffee and granola - relaxing and god atmosphere. We walked out of Starbucks as there was no smiles there.
