I don’t understand why they treat the delivery drivers like a trash. This is the second time I had a really bad experience picking up the order from this place. I am not going to the restaurants to steam someone’s food. Every time I go there, the same lady asking different things absolutely disappointed and I would never come to pick up my order again every day she have a different Rules end of the day. All the delivery drivers are also customers treat all the drivers with respect. Otherwise we have more than 70 drivers group chat and nobody will come to pick up the order from this place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at your establishment, and I wanted to take a moment to commend you on the culinary experience. The food was truly fantastic, and each dish was a delight. However, I feel compelled to share a concern regarding the service. Unfortunately, it did not match the high standard set by your cuisine. I felt quite uncomfortable with the demeanor of one of your staff members, whose expressions seemed unwelcoming and rather unsettling. This aspect did not resonate well with the warm ambiance expected.I hope this feedback is helpful as you continue to refine your customer experience. I look forward to visiting again and enjoying another culinary treat, hopefully matched by equally pleasant service.

Been here twice now around 9 months apart, the place is really nice, menu seems good etc, the issue is with the chicken skewers had them both times now as though it could have been a bad "batch" the first time, but this time the same, the chicken is really tough and not very nice at all, ruins it all to be fair, if they could improve the chicken it would be five stars!

As a family we’ve been a few times and can’t fault the food, my dad is super fussy and hard to please. My favourite is the nachos with pulled pork, the atmosphere is always positive and been served by Bekki who is always smiling and she’s always making sure we’re all catered for and provides us with great service 👍👌🏻

Went for meal with 9 people, 3 had steak, had to return 1 to the kitchen and one other was as bad. Told the server that it was inedible and was unable to even cut the meat - very unlike sirloin. Didn't do anything or offer to take x1 off the bill. Defo not worth paying almost £20 for with a sauce. Will not return as cost over £230

Becks was very helpful and friendly during our visit, and we had a nice chat with her about the history of the building (as my in-laws remember when it used to be a pub). Food was lovely too!

Service was a bit hit & miss. Wife's steak was well done rather than medium rare which she asked for. Wasn't given a resolution or reduction in bill for the mishap. Egg missing from one meal. Think the chefs need to monitor orders better.

Always a lovely, family friendly atmosphere. We have been served by Dawn several times and she always takes the time to check everything is ok with the meal and to chat with our 3 year old son. He now asks if ‘the lady’ will be there when we go! She is also really helpful when I have paid by gift voucher in the past.. Thank you for creating such a welcoming environment, we will be back 😊

Asked for well done stake got it med rear sent it back waited about 20-25 minutes for another one and how they done it I don't no, half was rear and the other half was med well. Food was taken a long time, begot put right next to a table that came in full of kids that didn't care about looking at what they were doing walking into staff and people. The staff were good, he was very sorry about the problems with stake but he done his best. I've been hear on a quite day and it's been better but this visit wasn't that good .

It was my mum's birthday..🎉but typicaly 3 meals of the eight were over cooked...a black hard steak 🥩, a pastry tart like rock 🥧 & a rubbery peice of chicke🍗 ! The three guests we not impressed 😬😩😩😩 The other meals were absolutely fine & the service was as it should be.👍🏼 I did mention the three meal of which the manager took off the bill (as good will ) 😁 Desserts were lovely & I just love their ice cream 🍦 😍

Shown to a cramped table we were oversold by the waiting staff who ignored our order and seemed to place her own order the dirty burger was drowned in bbq sauce and was inedible fries cold and delivery slow ...and although they checked the tables around us 3 pr 4 times the only time we were asked was when we could not answere as we both had salad in our mouths ....we were not impressed before lockdown no we find its simply not any better even with a discount its not good value for money

Family meal out. Quite busy for a midweek night. Found it hard to get the waiters attention as he had quite a few big tables to tend so service was a little slow. Food was good, everyone seemed satisfied (9 of us). Good choices for children.

During a recent visit to the area, we visited here twice for evening meals. Good food at a reasonable price.

Good grub, good drinks. Friendly staff. Really like the new refit. Looks nice and cosy. I'd say the menu is value for money, and often I have eyes bigger than my belly but they gave me a doggy bag which was very nice. Staff were attentive, even after shift change. All in all really enjoyed my outing and dinning experience. Will visit again.

Me and my daughter came for lunch. It was delicious. Ryan was extremely friendly and helpful and we received our food very quickly. My daughter especially enjoyed the build your own sundae!

Service good, quality of food good but unfortunately we had steak which came on cold plates which obviously made the meal go cold very quickly.

In Town for a boxing event @ Loughborough University, ideal spot to eat 5 minutes from site.

Breakfast for two, one healthy(ish!) option, one less so!! Our order taken by a charming young man, delicious (unlimited) coffees brought promptly by another staff member - all done with a genuine smile. Bravo to the chefs - delicious, perfectly cooked fayre. My 'Eggs Benedict' was perfect, and it's great to have it served with delicious, griddled back bacon rather than other outlets' limp ham!

Well done Harvester. As a ceoliac i often struggle to eat out and always stress about being an inconvenience to the restaurant staff. The staff at the Harvester in Loughbrough made me feel so easy about it all. The waitress explained their menu to me. We discussed what i could and couldnt have. She went out of her way to help me decide and when it came it was delicious. To top off the experience, they could provide me with a Gluten free Lager (Daura Damn), which was the icing on the cake. Took the stress right out of the situation for me. Thank you so much xx

Breakfast was lovely this morning. Tasty & hot. We were served and looked after by Dawn, she is so friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Always a pleasure to see her.

Lovely evening at harvester. Here for work, very convenient with hotel next door. Becks was so lovely, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Very nice atmosphere. We loved the salad bar. Friendly staff. However, my fish was mostly overcooked batter with hardly any fish in it. I will visit again but will try something else. Free car park, but remember to type your number plate on the screen at the "reception" or you might be fined.

Hey it’s a Harvester not a Michelin Star restaurants. So you should k wow hat you’re going to get. Ambience was good, food was tasty, portions were a decent size and the service was very friendly and efficient. Ticked my boxes as a lone business traveller.

Very friendly and quick service, my only gripe the toast was cold on arrival. Apart from that I definitely recommend.

My family were extremely disappointed with today service. We arrived on time for our booking at 1415 today. At 1420 we were seated, greeted pleasantly and within 10 minutes we had ordered both our food and drinks. However, we were not informed by Michelle (Manager), who took us to our table how long the wait would be; though I did over hear her tell the couple Infront of us that it would be around 40-50 minutes, so we were prepared for that with the kids. However, 50 minutes later the couple who came in before us had finished their food and still noone came to update us. So I did ask our server if there was any update on our food, to which she returned 10 minutes later to let us know, she's "clearing up the other table next to us and then we would be next". The other table that had come in with us and seated at the same time, and ordered about 3 minutes before us have now paid and left. 1 hour and 10 minutes after we had ordered our food came. Not once did the server come to check on us to see if we were enjoying our meal, however she had checked the other tables next to us during theirs. Once we had finished our meal, the sever asked if we wanted anything else, so we asked for and ice lolly for one child and the make your own sundae for the other. 15 minutes later I seen our server notice out table, point and rush off to the kitchen. 5 minutes after this, I lost my patience and went to find the manager Michelle to ask what was happening, informed her that we had been waiting 20 minutes for our dessert and that we had waited over an hour for our mains. 5 minutes later our dessert finally came and as the kids were tucking away I thought I would go and find Michelle and express my concern over the service away from the table and the children. After waiting a minute at the front desk I went back to find her discussing with my wife what was happening with today in front of the kids. Michelle was being incredibly defensive about our concerns. I understand they're busy and we have to wait, she said the person who sat us down should have explained but she denied that it was us that she had sat down, and at the time of discussing I couldn't remember either but once she left, my wife and I were convinced it was in fact her that sat us down. She then went on to explain that the people next to us may have ordered before and therefore there could have been like 5 meals ahead of us, but we explained they came in, ate, paid and left before we even got our mains. Then when I said about desserts being 20 minutes to get an ice lolly, she started going.om about staff being off sick etc. Both my wife and I found her very rude. And to top it off the server brought us the bill before my daughter even finished her Ice cream. Server and manager seemed to try to avoid us and not make us feel welcome back. Barely any apology and not even a free drink offered or anything for the inconvenience. Once to family we're back in the car I went back in to find Michelle to ask if she had a comment card or shall I fill out in a website or anything and all she gave me was a scrap piece of paper with a QR code on to review on Google. Had an excellent meal enjoyed every minute of it and Tony at the bar was superb he deserved a medal works so hard, 5 stars 🌟

Went to Loughborough to see our Grandauter at university yesterday ,we went for lunch at the Harvester , and the service & food were excellent

Good food, friendly staff, but not enough of them.

Rude staff, spoke to “Becks” duty manager with poor hygiene a bad attitude, and even worse breath ! I asked for a table for 2 she rudely shouted they were fully booked and sat me next to the bar but the restaurant was empty. . . ? Ordered food asked for a box to take away the wrap but she said they didn’t have any, however they have a big sign saying take away is available. When I asked how the food was sent for take away they said they only gave boxes for take away, but this is what I have done? Wouldn’t recommend this place at all, customer service is appalling and a lazy manager just round off the bad experience

Your food needs to be served hotter!

First time I've been to an harvester and i was very impressed. Excellent service, very clean and organised and service with a smile.

We visited the Loughborough Harvester twice. Once on the 28th December it was a party of 10 meal sweet and drinks. It was special as some of the family hadnt seen each other for 3 months. I paid using dinning out vouchers, the bill was around £160.00 we choose harvester as in other location near london the meridian Leicester we have had a good expereince. Christmas for us was not a good expereince the food was under par the sald was not very fresh the lettuce was struggling badly and would have looked at home in my composter.The staff were unaccomadating we had autistic children with us and they had no compassion for their needs and food sensory issues one member of staff female shoulder lengh dark hair was so vile it upset us as a group but we decided to make the best of it and reflected that it was Christmas and they probably would rather have been at home with their families.So we overlooked the uncomfortable environment. I found myself caring for my 3 autisic grandchildren on either the 10 or 11th January as mum had just had a baby so I called in to the Harvester for a super as I had £50.00 left in voucher from Christmas I figured we had always had good service prior to the Christmas expereince so it would be fine and in we went. It was going well untill my 14 year old grandaughter with sensory issues found what turned out to be a long thin peice of clear plastic about 10 cm in her salad. She was nearly sick as had eaten it and pulled it out of her mouth. I called the staff they siad it wasnt packaging and must have fallen in from a customer and this was a risk with an open salad bar. She was then very condesending and patronising to my grandaughter who probably could pas for 12 but you wouldnt treat a twelve year old like that never mind if you come again you can tell us what you want and we can make you your own little salad in the kitchen. We were offered nothing for our experince not a real apology just the salad speach above.Despite being very quiet we were ignored from that point the plastic in the food disturbed everyone none of us ate hardly any of our mains or puddings I fear by granddaughter will not want to eat away from her house again. I have spent over £200.00 in less than 3 weeks and the service food and customer service was just so so bad I cannot put in to words how upset Iam about this

The salad bar was excellent however if you want to peruse the ultra processed menu for your standard British food this is the place to come; deep fried this, deep fried that, deep fried the other 😊

I was very pleasantly surprised with the food, which was both well presented and tasty. The staff were very friendly and we were seated immediately, drinks order was taken swiftly and delivered. Wasn't told about any offers, such as the lunch time offer. Ordered two fruitshoots and was told I wouldn't be charged for them if I had children's meal deals which we did but was still charged for them. Food wasn't hot when it arrived.

Food was amazing, unfortunately low staffing levels meant we waited an hour for our food and having three young children in our group made it challenging. Pub only half full so not an issue on customers.

The staff and atmosphere are always very good here and it is always conducive to a relaxing meal 👍 There is plenty of parking but make sure you enter your registration number when you enter the restaurant so that you don't get any charges. The staff always provide a warm welcome and they are always very polite and attentive. There is plenty of room and the place is always clean. We always enjoy the unlimited salad bar and the main menu meals 👍 All in all it is definitely worth a visit if you are passing 👍

Popped in without a booking at 6pm last Weds 13th Dec. Immediately shown to a table. The food was delicious and piping hot. We were served throughout our visit by a lovely lad called Adam. He was really attentive, kept checking we were ok. It seemed as if nothing was too much trouble, and he made us feel very welcome, an absolute professional. The restaurant is lucky to have him as one of the faces of Harvester. Merry Christmas. x x

The food and service here can sometimes be hit or miss but on this visit, it was almost perfection. The only thing that let it down was the salad. The hot food we had though was delicious and the staff were very nice and friendly
