Chloe's service was amazing tending to our needs and making sure we are okay through our dining experience and making us feel welcome from the point we came in to the point we left thank you again chloe this girl deserves a promotion and a raise

This is our second time coming along to the Harvester and each time gets better an better. We were served by Riley D, and from start to finish it was was an experience where we were left happy anf full. The food was great, Rileys table side was great, catering to all of our wants and needs. A great member of staff who made us feel welcome, thanks for a lovely experience.

Had a meal with my 10 year old daughter food tasted burnt and not very nice, after leaving the restaurant felt a bit sick my daughter was the same, woke up at 2 in the morning with my daughter being sick and myself being sick, then had to drive 2 1/2 hours back home with my daughter being sick in the back of the car, had to phone 111 who confirmed to us it’s food poisoning absolutely disgraceful go and have some food only to get food poisoning. I would indeed like a refund for my meal I’m not spending £45 to get food poisoning!

We have been going here for 12 months now, and have always had good food and service. This time, we ordered a blue steak, which came as rare, this was sent back, the steak, that replaced it was straight out of the freezer and microwave! Still cold! This is not what you expect. The chef, just didn't like his cooking, complained about! This is a great shame as the premises has potentially lost customers now. Every time we have been before, the food has been cooked to perfection. We will try the restaurant again, to give them a second chance. I hope to update this review in the future. To be fair to the manager, the steak was not charged for, when we complained for the second time.

Worth its Weight in Gold (And Possibly an Award for Best Server of All Time) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Let me begin by saying that there are "good dining experiences," and then there’s the divine, cosmic, near-spiritual experience I had at Harvester last night—thanks entirely to the sheer brilliance of one Emma, our server, who has, without question, redefined my standards for what it means to be served. The evening began with my friends and I arriving slightly later than intended. We were not so much fashionably late as we were an episode of "Will They or Won't They Make It Before Close?" tension built to a crescendo. The clock was ticking down, and Harvester was nearing the end of its operating hours. The stakes were high, the air was thick with the aroma of impending hunger-induced panic, and yet, somehow, Emma—the legend herself—looked upon us and said, "Don’t worry, I got you." It was nothing short of a miracle. Not only did she squeeze us in, but she did so with the kind of grace and poise I had only previously seen in fictional characters from epic fantasy novels. If anyone’s ever wondered what would happen if a fairy godmother and a Michelin-star chef had a child, that child would be Emma. She seated us with a smile so warm, I almost thought I could feel it on my face like the rays of a summer sun. And let’s talk about the service. Folks, there are servers, and then there are Emma-level servers. When she presented the menu, I almost felt like I was being handed a treasure map. The way she described the specials was nothing short of poetic—each dish was introduced like a character from an epic tale. “This steak,” she said with a knowing glint in her eye, “is not just a steak. It’s an experience—a journey of flavor so intense, your taste buds may need a moment to process it.” Naturally, I ordered it. I needed that journey. Throughout the meal, Emma was everywhere and nowhere at once. She appeared with drinks faster than I could ask for them, and her timing was impeccable—never hovering, never intruding, but always there when we needed her. It was as though she was a culinary sorceress, reading our minds, anticipating our needs, and fulfilling them with the subtlety of a magician. I briefly wondered if she had hidden superpowers. If I had to guess, Emma’s special skill is turning the average dinner into an event so extraordinary, even the food is applauding. When our dessert arrived (which, naturally, was also expertly recommended by her—because she knows), Emma didn’t just bring it to the table. No, she made the grand unveiling of our final course an event worthy of a standing ovation. The dramatic flourish of the dessert plates, the perfectly timed commentary, and that final, knowing look that said, "You are about to experience the last, most glorious chapter of your dining adventure"—it was enough to make me tear up a little. As we wrapped up our meal, Emma, like the professional that she is, managed to not only take care of our checks with speed and precision but also left us with a sense of fulfillment beyond just the food. I felt… cared for. Like I had been pampered by a hospitality deity sent down from above. How did she do it? I’ll never know. But that’s the magic of Emma. So, to anyone reading this: If you ever find yourself near Harvester and you see a server named Emma, do yourself a favor and ask for her specifically. You’re not just getting food and drink. You’re getting an experience. A story. A memory. And possibly, if you’re lucky, an invitation to Emma’s secret club of diners who have witnessed the art of service elevated to an otherworldly level. To Emma: Thank you. You are, without question, the greatest server in the history of food. May your tips be as generous as your spirit, and may you always have enough time to deliver a flawless experience, no matter how close to closing you are. We will return. And next time, we’ll bring a fan club.

Steak was not cooked to our liking. No haddock on the menu. And only alternative fish was the scampi which didn’t satisfy our liking

My first visit to the Harvester in Loughborough and it was a lovely meal out. Service was very friendly and attentive and the food was good from the new 2025 menu.

Decided to try loughborough instead of Derby after driving by the other week. Wasn't a mistake, nicely busy, food was great, and service put Derby to shame. Service in Derby was Ok but completely different atmosphere at Loughborough, really friendly, they were busy but food arrived quickly. Rebecca our server went above and beyond with all who we saw her interact with. Would eat here everynight if we could afford to and my 14 year old daughter almost polished off the 10oz sirloin which she said was amazing! The half hour journey was worth it. Only criticism is lack of lighting outside, could have passed for being closed. Luckily we had booked and knew it was open!

Had a lovely anniversary meal here , service slow to begin with but after I went to get drinks it picked up , can't really fault the place .

Food was delivered hot and well cooked. Chips and salad were okay but unfortunately although the burger was cooked well, the meat was of low quality containing hard and chewy bits.

Had the most horrendous visit recently. We were NOT told that the heating was broken on arrival and everyone sat eating in coats. We asked to move to an area we believed would be warmer and were told that there was no space when there clearly was a few tables in the area for the entire time of our visit. The first choice of meal was sold out but the substitute of southern fried chicken and ribs was far from the quality or quantity expected. After emailing my concerns after the visit, all we were told was that due to the cold weather the heating needed attention. No offer of a refund/voucher, no explanation as to why we weren't moved or why we were not told about the heating on the evening. I heard a number of people that evening saying "this is a joke" etc This will be my last visit.

The food was lovely. Though it took a while to arrive. Our server Laura, was very pleasant. Serving us with a smile and nothing seemed too much trouble. The only down side was that The Wheatsheaf was really cold. I don't know if the heating had packed up, or if it comes on after a certain time.

Visited this morning and had the Ultimate breakfast. It was huge, well cooked and fantastic value for money Thank you to Trinity for the excellent friendly service.

Our server Emma was amazing, checking up on us and making sure we had what we need. We had the bbq chicken stack which we left almost half off because of it being fairly burnt. Place looked great and polite staff. Would defo come again just not to get the bbq chicken!

Dawn is very friendly and helpful! We love to come to Harvester for breakfast especially the bacon is very tasty with a hint of charcoal grill taste, little crunchy and crispy on the edges, always a joy!

Emma is a very consistent waitress. Each time I come here she is very efficient and friendly. She always takes our orders quickly and so food arrives hot and early. Food here is excellent value and salad bar has good variety. Also the restaurant has a fast EV BP Pulse charger which is really helpful.
