First time being here. A lively environment. Can't beat a jukebox. They also have a beer garden, if you're a smoker. The barmaid Sue was totally rushed behind the bar but never stopped her from serving with a smile. I will return again soon.

The staff are lovely and friendly although not much atmosphere for a Saturday night, thought there might of been some live music on but sorry to say, nothing.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon to watch the football so wasn't surprised to see the place packed, adds to the atmosphere, standing room only, no problem with that. We inched our way towards the bar only to find that it wasn't only the pathetically bad service of the bar staff (more of that shortly) but the row of occupied stools lining the bar that made difficult to get anywhere near to requesting a drink. The bar staff seemed more than happy with the seating arrangements however as the buffer made it easier to avoid eye contact with patrons trying to spend their money so they could stand around, chat and pretend to look busy, only jumping into action when one of their friends in the crowd at one end of the bar shouted their order through the gathering of patrons all waiting patiently. I witnessed numerous customers (including myself) requesting a drink, whilst being next in line only to be met with "I'm serving someone" (their friends, or on occasion no one at all) or "I'm busy" (busy moving glasses from one end of the bar to the other or busy chatting). Disgusting service from bad mannered, immature (there's nothing wrong with being young) bar staff. On the occasions we managed to obtain a drink the double vodka was certainly suspect (never a double) and the blag carling, worst pint I've ever had, this place obviously relies on the fact that during matches they can serve whatever they want as any potential complaining customers wouldn't bother trying to negotiate the crowded bar. We didn't bother buying any more drinks after that, just stayed to watch the end of the match, actually until one team went three up and the game was over, at which point we left and made our way to another establishment where we were met by service that is to be expected and the genuine beverage that was advertised on the pump / bottle. Haven't been to the Vineyard before and wont go again, I suppose you could ask what did I expect, walking into a bar that shows a dodgy foreign channel with a 3pm Saturday kick off. The Vineyard - where the customer always comes second, third, forth or fifth, ripping off their customers with drinks as dodgy as their sports package, amateurs.

Spot on lovely little place for a drink. The food menu coming soon worth a visit. Only way to know is to come..

Went today had the chicken burger meal on the burger deal was so nice portion size was huge would definately recommend and will be going back again staff were so friendly and a lovely welcoming atmosphere

Monday night with a group of 10, with only one bar staff taking the orders, serving customer and then waiting on the tables, I felt sorry for the man! The food took quite a while, but when it arrived it was nice as usual. This place always, doesn't have something on the menu. ALWAYS! It's a running joke now when I go in. I had the ricotta and spinach canalone, and this was really nice. I would recommend.

I must say this is the second birthday celebration we have had here and the staff couldn’t be more helpful the food was lovely came out nice and hot would highly recommend this place for family get together or just a nice place to go for a quiet meal

Good place to go with friendly staff, great coffee and tasty, reasonably priced food, will go again and would highly recommend. Great new bar for a relaxing meal and drink midweek. Love the patio at the back, nice place to sit on a lovely hot day. Really love this friendly place.

The vineyard has a great atmosphere for drinking and watching the match. I was recommended the "burger challenge" as I am easily lead and was hungry. The challenge consists of 4 home made burgers, chargrilled chicken, bacon and cheese on a brioche bun, a side order of chips and salad. This monster took me about 10 minutes to demolish and wasn't easy, but I wouldn't have posted a Trip if I failed!!!! I'd recommend a fizzy drink on the last stages of the challenge as the bloat is unbearable.

Great little bar. Just what the area needed

I've been in a number of times since December. I've had an evening meal with my parents. I'm vegan and the food was prepared with that in mind. I had a spicy bean burger. Was left feeling full up, everything I want in a meal out! I've had a cooked breakfast in here on another occasion. Generous with the mushrooms which is always a bonus, well-presented and arrived in good time. I've also been in a bit later on a couple of times. One time there was a ban on, the place was rocking and everyone was having a good time together. On another occasion I enjoyed watching Match of the Day in there and speaking to the other guests about general football trivia. This was really nice, better than just watching it at home and having your own opinion, hearing other people's opinions and sharing your own is a great way to pass the time. I'd recommend the place without a doubt. I've never really been a "pubby" person but this place has a nice environment and will do well in Moreton.

My family went out for Sunday lunch around 16:00, when walking into the restaurant it looked really bright and had a friendly atmosphere. Noisey, but the footy was on and this is a bar first and foremost. The Sunday lunch was very nice, I would recommend this and come back for it, good portions a variety. The staff were very good and helpful. When ordering my food, I asked for the nut loaf. Only when all the orders went through and where being cooked I was made aware that they didn't have any left, I change it to something else which wasn't that much of a big deal. After this we ordered dessert, I had my eye on the banoffee cheesecake, when all the orders were ordered and being brought out I was told they didn't have any cheesecake.. Again I picked something else. The waitress handled this well at the time and refunded the price of the dessert. The feedback I would give here is that they should have a checklist of the orders they don't have by the till or to communicate with the kitchen more closely. Other than that it was good.

Very enjoyable lunch ,we found the portions were very large ,I had the ale and doom pie it was served with mashed potatoes and a very small portion of vegetables,I thought the mash tasted like instant mash andd there were only a handful of peas and the same of red cabbage would have preferred more veg and less potatoes,also they served a separate jug of gravy which was not needed,the pie had lots of lovely gravy in it the pastry was just a piece set on top. My friend had scampi and chips which she was very happy with ,but would have preferred less chips . For starters we had the home made onion rings which were delicious with very crispy batter ,so nice my friend really wanted to take some home!

Went here Friday night, took my guy for a meal for his birthday, the food was lovely, such good value, really tasty& presented well. Staff are lovely, warm, welcoming& friendly, will definitely visit here again.

went on New Years eve, for a start the place looked a bit tatty. Staff were nice, drinks reasonable and main course very nice. Then took an hour to get our pudding which by then was given to us free, but custard was luke warm Family's on other tables seemed to wait an eternity for there's and it was mostly only burger and chips. They dont seemed organised, probably good place to drink only.

Really poor they buy the chicken from Heron foods in Moreton. Absolutely gash. Avoid this place

Had reservation for xmas eve When arrived and placed order After 25 mins we were told they didnt have our food Ordered alternative If I was a chef I wouldnt have let it out my kitchen it was that poor .They werent even busy avoid at all costs and wouldnt even put my foot through the door ever againeven if it was free

I'm afraid it was not good, there was only another table of 4 being served at the same time. All pre ordered and it wasn't edible some had finished and some hadn't even been served. Some food didn't even arrive. Staff were friendly and apologetic. Need to decide if a bar or food??

Visited on a cold, wet evening in November, and as it has only been open for two weeks we wanted to give it a look. Very bright, warm and newly decorated, with tables set for eating and a small bar. My wife and I chose a glass of house white and a pint of Coors respectively, which came in at regular pub prices and we had a look at the menu. They are offering all manner of regular pub food and burgers, in order to see what is most popular, then they will have a permanent menu of the most popular dishes, if I understand the note on the menu. The manager and young staff were very welcoming and keen to help with any questions, so I went for a burger with bacon and pulled pork, my wife chose liver and onions and mash, and asked for mushy peas, which the manager said was a good idea and that they would be adding mushy peas to the dish in future. We ordered a bottle of the house white which was well priced and the food came in about fifteen minutes and was really good. It's easy to take pub food for granted as being easy to serve up, but we've noticed that locally some of the standard of food quality has taken a dip recently, so we were well pleased with what we ate. After this, we had a couple of coffees, a shot of Jim Beam and a shot of Jack Daniels Honey (the manager actually went out in the rain to get a bottle of this as they had run out, which was very good of him). The bill came to about £36.00, not including the first two drinks and nothing was overpriced in our opinion. You can get two meals for £9.99, also kids meals, so it is very affordable. By the time we left the place was almost half full and a party of twelve were due in, so they will have had a good night's business. We would like to wish them all the best for the future, and we shall be returning very soon; please give them a try and support local businesses.
