The Vine By Knightor in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We had another super evening here this year - great crowd pleasing food (18 of us) fab wine and wonderful to be able to sit outside and enjoy the 'Scatho sunset.

Excellent meal and service. Really interesting to hear about the wine production. Great location- a great find. Will return!

Arrived - no one in sight, not open however all signage and hours stated open. Disappointed, something not right, a real shame

Having heard good things we went as for an evening with friends. We sat outside to have drinks before dinner. 1/2 hour later, no drinks and on enquiring where they were we were then told that there was no one to make them, but good news…..our table was now ready. Ordered mains, which duly arrived and these were very good, all as expected . Desserts? …….yes we do a small selection. Ok, menus duly left with us to choose and after a considerable time waiting the waitress who was busy clearing tables then announced that they had no one there any more to do them! She had cleared everything away….but you’ve still got guests!! Ok, can we get some espresso martinis ? …….No, we don’t have any one trained to make them………ok, just 4 coffees then……..Sorry, don’t have a coffee machine. This was a wasted evening, probally the worst service that any one could experience…..and a wasted opportunity by the owners to get revenue from the table. Clearly the customer is an inconvenience. I would strongly suggest you take a visit to Ridgeview or Raffiney or Nytimber or Wiston …all award winning vineyards in Sussex who have excellent food and beverage offers with staff trained to give first rate service.

we were booked for the "pop up crab and lobster"sunday lunch,the company canceled,the in house provided their style lunches with crab/lobster,well done team for crab flatbread,lobster/meat burger. their own wine was light and delicious.we also bought wine/vermouth from off dales,cant wait to go back again,ideal for when grand kids are stying,so much space.

The Vine is an extremely relaxed experience which is a godsend when you are travelling with young children and dogs. You can eat in or outside but you need to book, There is plenty of outdoor space for the dogs to run around and Lawn games including swingball, giant Jenga and Toad in the Hole that will keep kids and adults amusedfor ages. The menu is small but covers most tastes and does changes - we went twice in the week we were staying at Trewince and there were small differences which provided variety. The food was fantastic and the service unhurried but extremely efficient, we were a party of 8 and we all received our order together. The flatbreads with Spiced Crab or Pulled Pork are a must, absolutely delicious and such a simple idea. Their own wines complimented the meal beautifully and on our last trip we took plenty home with us. The Vine is not on the normal tourist maps and was a lucky find and I would highly recommend anyone to visit.

Great food, superb wines and fab views. Nice to go somewhere different. Definitely recommend a visit, relaxed vibe. Staff very attentive.

Perfect night sitting in a vineyard having dinner with a group of 7 ages from 3 to 85. Made very welcome by our lovely waitress. Lots of open area above the vines for the children to have a run around. Limited menu as more a pop up eatery but between us we had most of what was on offer and it was all excellant. It goes with out saying the wines were super. Will certainly return

What a find! Superb wine menu and really relaxed vibe. Didn’t try the food, but saw it being served and it looked fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.

The menu offers food such as crab/ pork flatbreads, tempura courgette or corn on the cob - not your typical restaurant on the Roseland! The wine is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. There's gas heaters and blankets for if its cold; and benches and swing ball outside if its sunny!

Absolutely amazing, the food was incredible our favourite was the knightor winery friend chicken, the drinks selection is even better, lots of their local wine we tried the Bacchus and the Pinot noir rose, which were both to die for. There is also a selection of outside games to keep you entertained all day. Next time we are in the area we are visiting this amazing venue again!
