Lovely village pub in Doddington with good menu, including vegan and gluten free options. Reasonably priced, plenty of tables in the bar, restaurant and large garden. Food was very good with good drink choices at the bar.

Very friendly welcome from all the staff. Food and drinks fairly priced, with a very warm welcome from regulars. Would thoroughly recommend.

Drive over and not doing food again, we went through this a while back where they put notes in the window saying no food, then they started up again so we decided to go back. Got there and again a note in the window saying no food till so and so date. Make up your mind so customers know whether to come or not.

Used the three tunes for drinks and a meal, Pleasant sitting in the garden with a cold drink , decided to eat wish we hadn't. Lasagne looked very nice but had has much taste has wall paper paste, even worse was the ready cooked beef burger on the menu has home made , Home made it was cooked the day before and warmed up some how, then plonked in a semi stale bun, it was like eating saw dust, the home made Coleslaw came in a paper cup the size of a golf ball , around two teaspoons, the Chips were cheap frozen and again tasted reheated, The food in general was poor. ???

What a lovely pub this is, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I've been here several times now and each time I can't fault it. The food is very good as is the selection of beers. The tables are very clean (no sticky tables), the whole place is well looked after and clean. There is a good atmosphere and feel to the place all located in a nice village. Great pub worth a visit.🙂

A great lunch for a Monday! Not that busy but good.

If you are a young adult or a minority I’d advise you to avoid this bigoted and small minded establishment. My friend had some property stolen at this venue - the staff didn’t help in the slightest & owner said he was “too drunk to check cctv until tomorrow” (really professional way to treat paying customers) Further attempts to enquire about the stolen property were met with unnecessary hostility and provocation that appeared to be racially motivated, deliberately misinterpreting my friends pleas to locate his stolen property as “trying to intimidate” staff (very telling of their racial biases). The staff were not interested in the slightest at resolving the issue at hand and displayed a “not my problem” approach. Speaking to locals about the ordeal revealed that this wasn’t a one off occurrence. A current staff member who wasn’t working even admitted the venue has a racism problem and routinely kicks out minorities for little to no reason. No real resolution was offered over the stolen property issue and whilst leaving the owner came out front hammered with his mate squaring up and provoking confrontation. I’m sure if you’re a local white family you will be treated fine but please ask yourself if this is the type of local business you want to support?

Loverly outside large lawn eating area it was a warm sunny day what more could you want

Dropped in for lunch without a booking during a busy spell, sat on a reserved table but staff very lovely and accommodating and found us another table without a fuss. Food was lovely and served quickly. Very nice family (all ages) atmosphere. Friendly patrons.

Says dog friendly on the internet but it's only in the garden which is ok on a nice day not so much if it's raining. Beer was good though.

Popped in after visiting mum in a nearby nursing home. A nice clean bar area, with an ample beer garden which was being fully appreciated. The Test Match was on TV and food being served in the bar. My only observation was that there seemed to be 5 members of staff and only 2 working.

Dog friendly in the bar. Staff excellent, Food also especially the ham/cheese pannini.

On a warm day it's a beautiful sight, that vintage motor parked in the midday sun. The Guinness is as ever chilled to perfection, the ideal companion, and the smells from the kitchen enticing. There's an extensive and tasty menu and enough folk enjoying a meal to make the pub a place to remember and one to return to. The service is perhaps a little gruff given that the sun is shining and folk are smiling.

Great food, at great prices. Staff welcoming and cheerful. Lovely village setting and garden to eat and drink. Visited last weekend and totally enjoyed the experience. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Lovely quiet pub during the weekdays. Sat outside in the afternoon sun. Food was lovely, service was great.

Arrived at 7.45pm on Sat evening, ordered a drink & asked where we could sit for food ? 2 people. To be told food was no longer being served, looked at the menu on the table to have our drink, said food was served till 8pm on Sat. I'm sorry but if you advertise food to be served to a certain time, then you need to stick to it, lots of people in there still eating as we arrived !!!! Will never go there again. If you are tempted I would recommend you don't leave it late, very poor customer service. 01-04-2023

Great little pub, with very good and attentive bar staff. The food was standard pub fare but cooked well and was quality produce.

Had my grandmothers wake at this place. Classic country pub amazing staff and great service lovely garden and very very clean. Would recommend people to visit the tins if there are in doddington or March

Really good service. Value for money , decent portions all served hot. Friendly atmosphere. Could do with a bit of background music in the restaurant area in my opinion but that’s a minor issue. Izzy and the two other bar staff were very approachable and friendly. We will definitely visit again . Decent range of beers and spirits at a reasonable price too. Excellent pub and restaurant 👍

Good meal, wide choice on menu and prices are reasonable. They kindly opened the restaurant for us even though the head chef was on holiday. It was quiet so unable to give a proper score for atmosphere. Service was excellent.

Excellent food and service, great value for money. I only rated 4 for atmosphere, only because it was quiet on this occasion. It is a great place for a stop off, lovely staff and customers.

Xmas work meal... STARTERS..were lovely, MAIN turkey was not slices it was rolled with stuffing inside, tasted greasy, one person didnt like stuffing so didnt eat it, DESERTS...Cheese cake was horrible 4 of us didnt like it, asked if we could have something else and was told no & that nobody else has complained before. SERVICE...was excellent the girls worked really hard. They where very friendly & helpful. We wont come back for another meal

Staying at the caravan site up the road, we popped down for an evening meal. Very fast service, excellent food, cooked to perfection, and, according to my other half, a good pint of Guinness too. Plus, the waffles with bananas are to die for! We'll be back before we leave the area

The food here is ordinary. It’s a menu lifted straight from the pubs of 25 years ago. The food is generally over cooked but it’s far from awful. Usual suspects on the menu. Scampi, burger, pie of the day etc. Most of it is deep fried or microwaved. Here’s the clincher though. Four of us had two courses and the total bill was £38. I mean, Scampi & Chips was £6 for a generous portion. You can’t get a McDonalds meal for that. So, weighed up against the bill, was it value for money? Absolutely. And that’s really all you can ask.

Well absolutely astounded today we just tipped up not booked and accepted for a s Sunday Roast, Lamb dinner all fresh veg the staff were all very pleasant & accommodating Three choices of Real, Ale Bitters, The food was excently cooked & presented very promptly, A lovely change not to have to pay a surcharge for Lamb, Several other kinds of meat available, Will definitely use again and recommend to all our friends We couldn't book into the restaurant as it was fully booked We ate in the spotlessly clean bar, Usual facilities were also spotlessly clean

Went to Three Tuns having had it recommended, how disappointed were we. Terrible Sunday lunch. All bought in food I suspect and just warmed up. Table veneer hanging off, sticky everywhere. It needs a complete overhaul. Beautiful parquet flooring all needs sanding down, new blinds/curtains. There's no excuse - we've had lockdown for nearly two years no thought towards improving the environment or food. Why aren't they cooking with local produce ? I'll finish now, but needless to say we won't be going back !

not pub , wish the players equipment was better

2hrs into a 3hr essential journey in the car with no air con, (just had opened windows) so i was going to pop in for cold drink and to refresh my dog. but was rudely refused entrance and abused for mistreating my dog by barstaff ( by blonde lady flowery dress smoking at front doorway filling pub with snoke, and not making it so inviting for me ) for allowing my dog to walk about 20metres from outside the pub into the cool sanctuatry of the so called public house .. dont do food here at present ,so can only rate on hospitality so a one it is , no car park and def not dog considerate .

We walked to here over the fields from Fields End Water site. It was great that they opened from 11am, so we were able to get going on the cold drinks before the kitchen fired up at 12 noon. We found the value of the two lunchtime or early bird meals fabulous, the welcome and service super and would definitely return if we were in the area again. And there were so many other diners arriving, that it seemed 'the place' to be on a Wednesday lunchtime! Thank you to all staff concerned.

We are staying at a lovely local Caravan touring site and after a nice stroll found the three tuns. We like it so much we’ve strolled here every day for a drink ( a Guinness and a pint of wherrys) but today we noticed lots of people eating so we looked at the menu. Lovely delicious hot food and we didn’t wait long for it. The 12-2pm special offer of 2 for £10.95 has to be tried and lovely choice, really lovely staff, a clean spacious eating area inside and out. We will return during our break and highly recommend to others. Big well done to all at the three tuns in this crazy world you have got it spot on. Thank you. Paul and Diane Goldsmith

A stunning pint of Guinness .A pleasant place to sit in the garden .I will be back for more Guinness. There was a Mexican food van on site, which was serving nice looking food .This is in place whilst there isn't food available in the pub .

Ate lunch here yesterday in the beer garden because we have our doggies with us (dogs not allowed in the pub sadly). I had a tuna jacket spud and it really hit the spot...very nice indeed for the price. We will return. Would have had 5 stars but you don't allow doggies inside.

Great village pub. We held my Dad's wake here and they could not have been more accommodating. Great sandwiches, finger food and lots if tea and coffee. I have eaten here many times and the food us always delicious.

Nice staff & location with a garden but the beer was awful when we went. The cask Wherry was sour so must have been sitting there for ages. Not a lot of choice otherwise if you don't want big brand lagers.

Friendly service, good food. Only had starter and dessert, both delicious.

Smash not mash, pastry in the pie was soggy. Veg ok, and good service.

The food was less than mediocre. The lamb shank fell off the bone but was tasteless. The vegan cottage pie looked like the scrap-pings of other leftover meals. It was dreadful. 5 out of 20 is a very generous score. Have you ever eaten vanilla ice cream that tasted of nothing and had a texture as though it was over frozen? The waitresses were very nice. We did complain but it fell on deaf ears. Never again.

Visited today for lunch, the Halloumi sticks never come with enough chilli jam, so requested extra which we were told we had even though the paper cup was 1/2 full. Asked for more to be told it would be extra cost. This obviously made the surver feel uncomfortable as she embarrassingly had to tell me - shame as she was doing an amazing job. I used to come here a lot but will not be returning. I will try out the George which is around the corner!

This was our first visit to this pub. The food was delicious, piping hot and very good value for money. There is a great selection of beers on draught as well. The was however a lack of ambiance. The dining room could do with a bit of decoration and some background music. The staff whilst very friendly need to be coordinated better. We were served with are drinks straight away but waited a while for someone to take are order, customers who come in after us had their orders taken before us, which is really frustrating, I had to ask in the end for someone to take are order. The cutlery was then just plonked on the table. No condiments or sauces on table or offered! Now it may have just been the staff having an off day. I would eat there again and you can sit outside to eat. The food is worth it.

Food was cold chicken over cooked and dry. Covid measures good

Just visited or rather didn’t. This is/was a regular “drive by” lunch pub for me in the summer. Sit in the garden and watch the world go by. Today it was raining, asked the young waitress for a paper towel to dry the seat. Response was “no” but she did offer to sell me a rain Mac/poncho for £2. When I politely said about the wet seat she responded “that’s tough” Suffice to say we did not stay for lunch. The Mad Cat at Pidley was able to offer a paper towel to dry our seat. We spent £35 and all we asked for was a paper towel.Being a small business owner I understand the ramifications of poor customer service. The Mad cat garden isn’t as nice but it is more likely to get my lunch custom even on a dry day.

Turned up for Sunday Lunch with a table of 4 and 3 dogs. Once we had found a table had to go and get my own umbrella from the store by the door of the pub. Got all the way up to the table to find that 1st umbrella did not fit the table so had to limp back and change but second time lucky. Ordered drinks which came in good time and ordered food 2 x starters and 4 x main course. was then approached by waitress who asked for money for the drinks, I asked if we could pay for it all together and was told we could not have a tab outside (as we were all outside due to Covid Regulations I found this a bit strange) I suggested that we pay for our meals at the same time then and paid for it accordingly. The starters then turned up at the same time as the main courses and I had to send 1 back as it had not been cooked as requested. When it did come back it was fine. Food was good quality, fresh, well presented and great value for money. We were then tempted by the desert menu and ordered and paid for it. A few minutes later another waitress came and asked for the money for the deserts but we explained that we had already paid for it. Waitresses were doing their best but seemed a little disjointed and rushed off their feet.

Food not served till 4.30 pm. There missing a trick as garden was full at lunchtime but no food served!! Too cold to wait till 4.30
