Had an amazing time at the three pigeons. The atmosphere was welcoming and full of character. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, but a special shoutout to Amber for her outstanding service. She was so friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food and drinks were exceptional and with a great selection to choose from. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual drink or a full meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Depends on when you go there obviously. Saturday night was a bit of a nightmare, with no tables, long queue at the bar and so on. But when we went back on a Thursday, it was much calmer and we could order quickly. Love the ambiance of the place.

Amazing pub and amazing staff, having lived in Guildford for over 20 years, can thoroughly recommend.

This is one of those ‘ye olde’ pubs that are really nice places to go to because you feel like you’re drinking in a place that people have been going to for hundreds of years. It was empty when I went which I really like, I had the whole upper floor to myself - a bit of peace and quiet! There’s not a brilliant selection of beer on tap but I hope to come back another day and try the food.

Unfortunately think we picked the wrong day, service was slow and we had to ask for cutlery multiple times. The loaded sundae was also daylight robbery! £5+ for barely anything in a bowl! Shame as the reviews looked good.

A good way to conclude an evening, after enduring a most tedious and mediocre film at the local cinema. Certainly one of my very favourite pubs in the Town Centre - lovely pub, with exceptionally friendly atmosphere, a chilled out and cool vibe. Drinks are very well priced, and staff are very decent. Upstairs area - great !!

Stopped off in Guildford for Tuesday night and found this cracking pub at the top of the high street. Was a bit quiet when I wandered in but then a rush of customers came in before heading to the theatre down the road. Ordered the Mixed Grill and it was sublime. Cooked to perfection by the Chef, who I found out is called Allan, and the service from Brandon on the bar was top notch as well. Look out for the local guest ale, Surrey Hills Shere Drop. It should be called Great Drop as it was perfect. Great pub, great service, check this place out if you’re ever in the area.

Ordered lunch which arrived luke warm and beef was dry and overcooked. The portion of sharing nachos was smaller than expected and the chilli beef was cold. However, in contrast the onion rings we ordered as a side were hot. Overall we were dissatisfied with our meal.

We coincidentally stumbled across the three pigeons whilst wandering around the Guildford town and I must say it’s a beautiful pub! From service to food it was all above my expectations the friendliest staff I have ever been served by. Safe to say I will be coming again once back in Guildford!

This is a great pub. The staff is very friendly. The food is good, but not great. We tried the loaded potatoes and the burgers. About 12 beers on tap. The MXR Ap will get you a free drink if you register with a UK phone number.

Didn't let us in because we were with my 13 year old cousin, visiting from Texas, on New Year's Eve - because of a completely-arbitrary no under 18s rule. Absolutely appalling service. It was perfectly obvious he wasn't going to drink any alcohol. Your pub ruined my aunt, uncle and cousins' visit from Texas and ruined our pub crawl round our home town. Pubs in London did not restrict access in the same way. Shame on you.

This pub has excellent food!! I has the Double Bacon Cheesburger with fries and a drink and it was delicious! The food arrived very quickly and the atmosphere was very rustic and Christmasy!! I would 100% recommend going here for a fun Saturday evening!!

Staff were really great - friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately our roasts were cold and the beef was so hard to chew my jaw still hurts. The roasted vegetables lacked flavour and also needed to be washed down. Would be great for a drink but would not recommend the poor quality food.

Fantastic pub with a great team, 5 real ales and a wide selection of food. Perfect for lunch or a meet up with mates on a night out. Nice to go out to a pub where the team really engage with their customers. Love this pub

Nice friendly atmosphere here in company. Place seemed a traditional type of pub. Price seemed a little high on the pineapple juice. Had a faint stale smell as well in stairwell by bar..

I'm from Merthyr Tydfil and went there on a works do and my boss said lets go there, we went there and enjoyed a good noght.The bar staff there were excellent and the quality of service there was good. Keep doing what you are doing because your bar is worth visiting.

Popular pub. Great if you just want a drink. Ordered from lunch menu only to be told they don't do lunch items on Saturdays despite it still being on menu! Waited forever for the food. The garlic bread was stale and cold. Wouldn't eat there again but worth popping in for a drink.

It was a great service.. Everything was ok but the Gentle toilet was not clean it made me very ill when I saw the stat of it

Nice traditional English pub decked out in Halloween gear in great location. Very friendly and happy barmaid, which is unusual these days. Most bar staff are so miserable and ruin the atmosphere, so well done to you!

This is one of Guildford's gems in a town that has lost so many proper pubs over recent years, the Three Pigeons remains with all the charm of of its original features. A cosy local with fab food, attentive,fun and friendly staff it's sure to satisfy. As a Guinness drinker, fussy about my pint being pulled right I was more than happy that staff were clearly well trained. If you like a proper local, cosy atmosphere, period quirkiness,good beer,great food and happy staff you can't go wrong with a visit to this pub.

17th century pub, nice atmosphere, good food and prices. Only criticism is no access for disabled customers for upstairs dining area or toilets on ground floor. I did mention this to staff and they were apologetic about it, but a major rebuild of the historic pub would be required.

Great place for a tasty reasonably priced lunch, a great variety of drinks, and a lovely atmosphere, a must when visiting Guildford

2 key things for the rating. We popped in for a start of evening pint and one of our group was treated poorly. He had gone to play the fruit machine whilst waiting for his pint to be pored. A member of staff left the bar to tell him “You have to buy something to play the machine” trying to embarrass a paying customer isn’t the greatest way to start. We ordered 4 different pints of beer and each one was terrible. Flat, chemical tasting and unpleasant. We left all 4 drinks and walked out.

We always make a trip to the Three Pigeons when we are in town, and it never disappoints. The food is lush, the prices reasonable and the staff warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely little tavern style pub. Wide range of Larger, Ale, Ciders, spirits and soft drinks. The menu is extensive and fairly priced. There are meal deals with a drink which is great value for money. The staff were extremely welcoming, polite and quick to ensure your service was first class. The food was very tasty and hot when served. There is seating up stairs and down. I can't comment on the upstairs area but, the downstairs is a little dark but it adds to the old tavern style pub. Million dollar question, would I go back and do I recommend? Yes and yes. I will deffo visit again should I revisit Guildford. Thank you Three Pigeons team, first class service.

We only went in for some beers but the staff were friendly, the beer was good and it had a nice atmosphere. It's a good pub with a good amount of seating.

Lunch and a pint a delightful treat right on the High Street.

I was meeting a friend from up north, so looking at the menu we thought we would give here a go. We then found a quiz there as well so thought we would try it. The food was nice, my ultimate tikka was missing the rice (to be fair, I didn’t give them the chance to fix as I noticed half way through my meal), the my forgot two sides but this was very quickly rectified. The staff are lovely, the quiz host was exceptional. We had the best time during this quiz. Haven't laughed that much in a long time, granted we came last but still! The niggle was online it states £1 but it’s £2 (because of a fun bonus game at the end) All in all, I would 100% return again, the quiz was very good and a great laugh. The regulars seemed friendly, the staff were lovely and a great time was had by all!

I was eating and everything was great. The service was fantastic, the tall guy who served us even tried to speak in Spanish and taught us how to say some phrases in English. The food was delicious... Some impressive burgers, and the mushrooms with cheese... To repeat!!! The great atmosphere, the decoration, cleanliness... It was a perfect experience!! Thanks a lot!!

We thought the food was good. It seemed like pretty standard pub food offerings, so nothing super special on the menu. The food came out hot and in a reasonable timeframe. I ordered the all day breakfast, but felt the bacon was a little weak when compared to other English breakfast fare I’ve had. If you are in the area, this would be a good place to stop in and visit.

Michael was amazing so welcoming as soon as me and my sister walked in hesistantly( as we hadn't been before) , he instantly greeted us with a smile and welcome.We had a great meal and two lovely gins of the day! We also got a friendly goodbye. Would 100% go back as the staff were so friendly - a real asset to the pub!

This is one of my faves in Guildford. It's the town's oldest (i think) pub and it's dripping with original features with modern quirks to bring it up to date. And that huge original bay window upstairs in beauty. The food is good and the crowd are local and friendly.

I like to go here with my coursemates after a long day. The staff are friendly and the food is fantastic.

This pub used to have a selection of interesting beers on the taps behind the bar, including one that was gluten free. Now its just the same old beers you get in every pub. Very disappointing.

Had a lovely Time at the three pigeons with My Sister and Best Friend, warm welcome on arrival, promptly served for drinks. Ordered three steak meals and they were lovely, really enjoyed it, great presentation to. Service was excellent would definitely go again if we visited Guildford again

Popped in here for a quick pub meal this evening and we weren't disappointed. The service was fantastic! Rupert was extremely attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The food was very tasty too. We came just for drinks, service was great and quick. Ended up ordering food as it looked amazing and it also tasted amazing.

I treated my daughter to a belated birthday lunch here after a shopping trip on a wet and miserable day. The pub was warm, and welcoming; the bar staff/waitress were friendly and a real credit to the pub. All components of our meal were perfectly cooked, garnished and presented well, reflecting a competent chef (particularly recommend the vegetarian tortellini, with a delicious rich tomato sauce). Our lovely visit was topped off by another customer buying us drinks for my daughter's birthday (it was his birthday too)! I will definitely return and will take my dog next time as they are welcome too!

Typical English pub lavishly decorated with a large collection of banknotes. A lot of beers to choose from, very tasty, very friendly service and a typical meal of hamburgers and English breakfast. I liked.
