We were served by Frankie! Lovely girl, and great service ! Food was beautiful and atmosphere was great. The burger I ordered was gorgeous and I couldn’t find anything wrong with it.

Feel uncomfortable and the risotto was undercooked and grainy. The restaurant is expensive and your bound to spend over 20 if you get a drink and meal

Came here for lunch on my birthday last week. Loved the decor, really different with loads of random portrait paintings all over the walls. Staff were super friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the food is excellent. I had the buttermilk fried chicken which was very tasty and perfect in size for lunch- highly recommend. Cocktails are great too! Will definitely come back here for dinner in the future.

Food not the greatest but good service and atmos

Lewis was our server. He’s served me before and honestly he is one of the kindest workers ever. Even though there was a long wait, lewis assured us and was very efficent. This is a very nice place and will come again!!

i had a lovely time here celebrating my 21st birthday! our waiter jeremiah was amazing, nothing was too much for him and his service was so friendly and made our experience even better. we were also given complimentary prosecco which was a really nice touch! would definitely recommend, and thank you again to jeremiah for a great service :)

Too busy. Food all in small portions and didn't taste great, took an hour to come. Waitress was great but couldn't help the slow kitchen. I'm not a greedy person but the main portions were ridiculous for the price

I've been in many times on many occasions and this is my favourite branch of Cosy Club, and the only one I keep coming back to. The staff are lovely. Courtney looked after us really well when I was there a few weeks ago, checked on us frequently to make sure all was ok, always had a smile and was really keen to engage in conversation about what was on the menu and other things to do in the area once we decided it was time to head off.

Jeremiah gets 6 stars alone. This guy was one of the best servers I've had had. He was friendly, chatty, great sense of humour and read the table well. Brunch was delish as were the drinks and the atmosphere was cosy, relaxed and a really great vibes. Will definitely revisit.

Came in the other day was super quiet Eloise looked after us and was fab with my allergy, had my order taken by a manager, everything was very carefully done and staff were so polite and friendly absolutely love it ! Definitely recommend for anyone gluten free :)

I had the stack of American pancakes, oat matche latte and berry smoothie. I am quite fussy , but could not find fault with any of the food or drink. Zoned out from the conversation because I was in a coma of deliciousness! I didn’t find the environment cosy, it’s way too busy with paintings and lacks anything truly calming such as open fires or candles etc. However you are not going to care because the food is so nice.

Has an amazing time at the cosy club great service for my mums birthday they also have us a free bottle of drink to celebrate as well had amazing service by Anna in the Guildford restaurant only this was its was quite hard to see what i was eating as it was quite dark otherwise everything would have been 10/10

"Sorry, I, er... This is a restaurant, not a club... " "Daaaad..." Student Daughter No. 1 said. "I told you didn't I?" "I know, but it's called the Cosy Club. CLUB! And I've worn my tea cosy as per club rules..." "Take it off, Dad. And can I take off mine, as well...?" "But Mum knitted these tea-cosies..."

Slowest bar. You wait a week for a drink

We hired the Wonderland Private room for our 40th Wedding anniversary. It was the perfect venue, There were 16 of us for a sit down 3 course meal. The food was delicious. Lizzie was adorable and very attentive to our requirements. All in all 'a very enjoyable afternoon!'

Nice restaurant with good decor. The service was pleasant and the right amount of attention. Perhaps could have offered a side plate with the bread. The food was pretty good, clean balanced flavours. Lots of space if you have a big party.

We needed somewhere close to work to meet up for supper to celebrate a friends birthday. There is a lift up to the main floor and rest assured it does work despite being super slow, they have a little sign that warns you of this too. Good menu for gluten free, the chicken avocado and bacon salad is a must ! They also have a selection of dairy alternatives for hot drinks. A nice touch was the arrival of a glass of bubbly for the birthday girl. Helpful staff, great awareness of allergies and intolerances, I was checked at every stage of ordering. Parking in town is easy. Will be coming back again.

Have now been to the Cosy club twice for breakfast with a very good friend. Both times we have had the Butchers Brunch. It is extremely tasty and a good size breakie. The only ask i have can I have a mushroom options to replace the beans and maybe and extra slice of that toast. We will be back soon so through a mushroom or slice of black pudding in their please. We were seated next to a radiator and I instantly thought great, until I touched it and realised it was stone cold. Quite a few people commented but there wasn’t anything the poor waitress could do about it. It’s a shame because it put a bit of a dampener on what was an otherwise fantastic visit

The atmosphere here is wonderful. Tucked away in the Tunsgate Quarter, it's easy to miss, but it is worth a visit. Eloise was our server and made us feel so welcomed. Every request we made was granted, and they definitely added to our experience. The food here is the next level compared to other places I have visited. I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in Guildford. I would also recommend booking in advance if you can.

Had breakfast at Cosy Pub, really impressed with Jeremiah the happiest staff working there! It’s so good to see someone who truly loves what they do! They make the experience extra special! Definitely putting the establishment high on my list of revisits!

Had an amazing baby shower at Cosy Club Guildford on Saturday, the venue and staff were fantastic! We were let down by Bills who cancelled our group booking for the event, but the cosy club fitted us in last minute which saved the day! We booked the wonderland room which was fabulous, great decor and a wonderful space for our event. Shout out to our amazing bar tender Will who was on hand for the whole day and helped with everything from decorating and setting up the room, making great cocktails/mocktails and even helping us organise some of our games. We had a buffet menu and the food was excellent, including catering for dietary requirements. Can't wait to come again in the future!

We had a full English, when it arrived I said that I thought the portion size was a bit on the small side but the ingredients were exceptional and I was more than satisfied with the meal, service, price and location. Well done Cosy Club!

Ordered the full English breakfast at 11am and can only guess that we were served what was cooked at 9am - everything was cold except for the egg which they had to cook fresh. The bacon was a greyish brown colour and rock hard along with 1 mushroom - and was also a tiny portion so looks like it was also the leftovers - do not order ! for £11 it was a scandal

Cold and rock hard breakfast served at 11am so looks like we were served old leftovers kept under a poor heater. Only the egg was freshly cooked. I would suggest avoiding full breakfast for £11 unless you are there early!

As soon as the waiter took us to the dining area, I asked not to sit by the cutlery section as last time we had to eat our meal listening to them clanking whilst washing up. Instead we were sat by the kitchen door with it open. I asked the waitress who gave us the manus if we could not be in proximity to the kitchen, but they told us other sections were closed and they have to keep the door open to bring plates out. The noise from the kitchen was so loud it spoilt our evening. The waitress attitude was quite nonchalant and this demonstrated the difference between a restaurant and a chain. A shame as food we could not fault. Atmosphere ruined.

Absolutely lush venue as expected (I’ve been to a couple other sites). It’s definitely the staff that make it a great experience though. From the lady at the reception to the lady that served us, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty, don’t know if I’m just being greedy or if it’s the giant plate it was served on but it didn't match expectations portion wise. But that’s a me thing. Would defo recommend this place

Very tasty pork belly from the Christmas menu. The sharing platter was great, and nice chocolate cheesecake but could be better presented. My experience at the cosy club was great , as me and my colegues went for Christmas Dinner.

Lovely atmosphere and fabulous food and service. Good menu choices and a lovely marmalade spritz drink to accompany.

This was a great find for my gluten intolerant friend, the front desk asked about any intolerances and selected the appropriate menus. Having the GF menu allowed for a much easier selection. Our waitress Noora interacted in a chatty and friendly but professional way. The food was good quality and reasonably priced. We will return to dine in a relaxed atmosphere when next shopping in Guildford.

Updated review Came in December 23 again and I was sorely disappointed. The coffee (black americano) was absolutely awful. It was weak and under extracted. The watermelon cooler was just way too sweet to be nice. The hunters brunch was cold on arrival. Won’t be back in a hurry which is sad because we loved this place. Original June 2023 review: Fantastic in all aspects. We had a meal with 15 people at the weekend following our wedding and it was simply brilliant. Everyone loved their food and the atmosphere. Service was great too.

my boyfriend and i popped in after work today and was greeted with a lovely smile and welcoming atmosphere. our server for the evening, pheobe, was an absolute darling. quick and efficient service and suggested we try the festive burger which we both LOVED! such a friendly girl, amazing at what she does. thanks for a great meal and lovely evening. we will be back! :))

We came for the Xmas dinner menu with beautiful food and had a lovely waitress, Phoebe. Her service was absolutely amazing and she made us feel so welcome and comfortable and, despite a busy restaurant, still had the time to have a chat with us. Been here quite a few times and can’t fault the food or the service. Thank you, will definitely be back!

We had a brilliant private company Christmas Party at Cosy Club with amazing finger food and fancy cocktails. Everybody had a great time.

Really lovely breakfast/brunch venue. Absolutely love the relaxed atmosphere. Food was really great, u was expecting a slightly bigger portion on the full English, but the food was served quickly and was all tasty.

Brunch delicious, staff superb decor stunning. The only reason I’ve given a 4 is myself and 2 other tables asked for mustard only to be told “sorry, we are out of all mustards “. Ffs send someone to the local shop and buy a couple of different jars and satisfy your punters. For some, myself included, no mustard with my bacon, sausage’s and pork is like ordering a gin and tonic to be told “ no tonic, sorry!” Apart from this temporarily mishap you have a wonderful establishment but I shall bring my own mustard next time.

Sunday brunch, uninspiring . Luke warm, fatty bacon, can only substitute vegetable for vegetable , ie mushroom for tomato, not sure if that was 1 or 2 tiny toms . Also had a cali brunch, pretty tasteless, pea mash needed more seasoning and mint would be nice option. Sour dough so hard it made the knife bend. Decor was great, sadly I probably wouldn’t bother again, feels like a high street standard brand

Lovely hidden gem in Guildford - beautifully decorated, food really tasty and staff really efficient. They handled allergy orders very professionally and it was a great place to visit with friends. The private dining room looks gorgeous too.

Very disappointing breakfast. It was a busy Saturday but that should not be an excuse for poor quality food. The menu reads so well and makes it sound so good yet the final product and execution is shockingly below par. The bacon was grey from sitting in a holding dish. The scrambled eggs were cold, overcooked and terrible. The baked beans were cold and had a skin over the top from sitting on a hold. We sent our breakfast back because it looked awful and was stone cold. Incorrect items on plates that arrived. I had the Shashuka and while it was tasty, it was a very small quantity for the price you pay. While the service was great and the staff lovely, we did not complain on the day as my children were embarrassed and didn’t want to make a fuss.

Went here for breakfast. The restaurant area was busy but the lounge area was comfortable and cosy. Lovely breakfast and coffees all at a pretty reasonable price.

Top place, top food, top service

I have had a few really good meals over the years at Cosy Club. However I November 2023 there was one that was mediocre at best compared to what it is aiming to be. The service was alright, forgetting knives, forgetting meals but always with a smile. The starter was bad though, the beef croquettes where 2-4 bites at most with only 2 of them looking lonely on a plate. Definitely not worth the £7.25 for 4 bites. Previously the dinners and especially breakfast are worth the premium price.

Can't rate the food as only had tea this time, comfortable setting on a wet and windy day, good service and not a bad cup of tea. Will try more adventurous things next time.

Food wasn’t great salmon was over cooked as were one of the steaks and chips were also cold, Anna who served us was absolutely lovely though you could see she was really doing everything amazingly

A very nice place to have a relaxing meal or snack. Staff are wonderful and assisted so well with my dairy allergy. This is the best dining experience I have had with my dairy problem.

Amazing place to have food and cocktails! We had some sharing plates and some cocktails and both were so delicious! The staff were lovely and atmosphere and apperance of the place so cosy indeed!

Generally excellent service and nice atmosphere. Much larger venue than the name would suggest. Food was good but extras to our brunch dishes were insulting: extra mushrooms consisted of 2 x 10p sized mushrooms; estra rosti was one very small (size of a table spoon) rosti. Both charged at £2.50-3. When I raised the issue with our waiter he said this had come up before and that he would mention it to the kitchen again. Items still appeared on our bill. Disappointing and enough to make me look for a different venue next time.

Booked ‘cocktail making’ evening here at Cosy Club for double birthday celebrations! There was fifteen of us so our host Lizzy had her work cutout but have to say she was brilliant! It’s a real treat to watch someone who obviously enjoys what she does do a professional job but remain friendly and engaging! We made three cocktails each, one gin, rum and vodka with non alcoholic options as well. All were delicious, great fun and very well organised, there was no rushing just all round good time and I would definitely do it again. The only constructive comment I would add is and maybe we should have checked it out ourselves, it would have been good to have had some ‘nibbles’ on offer be it as part of the package or as an add on, other than that a fabulous evening and big call out to our host, fabUlous!

First visit for me here and definitely won’t be the last! Visited with my daughter-in-law and 2 year old granddaughter. All the staff were brilliant and made us feel welcome with a special mention to Lewis, thank you! Lunch was delicious, will be back soon!

Wonderfully decorated space in the heart of Guildford. The breakfast was ok but doesn’t quite match what the menu says eg the pork belly chop on the butchers breakfast, is a thin slice of reheated pork belly, with is more like thick candied bacon.
