Very friendly staff with very tasty food. Very delighted when I stubbles across this little place.

Very friendly place from staff and other people in the bar. Felt very welcome nd use of a dart board. Defo will be returning.

A great little local place to grab some pub type food, mostly with chips. Reasonably priced. Have a pool table, darts. I take the grandchildren here and they are always welcome. Friendly staff.

Nice food best macaroni cheese I've ever had. Also did a funeral wake for my friend and lots of attention to detail, catering for all dietary needs. S friendly place under new management with lots of improvements in the building underway.

Found this little jem passing through, the lady behind the bar had the most wonderful accent she was sifting through Halloween decorations and still made time to talk, lovely little place

Came in with a group of work colleagues, they were not serving food, after hearing we had already visited another food place that was shut the bar lady happily supplied us with nachos and chips. We are very greatful for your hospitality

My friends were playing darts and I tagged along, cute little pub in a nice quiet location, everyone was really friendly. Will be coming back hopefully.

Great place to eat. Food is outstanding with very good quality ingredients. 👌 and the prices for the food is very good. Sunday lunch and breakfasts are the best we have had. And the drink price is one of the cheapest around.

We had our Mum's wake at the Taste of England on the 24th March, and we would highly recommend the venue for an occasion. Michelle and crew did a fantastic job looking after us all with plenty of food and choice, there were a lot of us there as our Mum was very popular and it was just perfect. Thank you Michelle and crew you did our Mum proud.

Michelle and team hosted our Mum’s wake following her funeral yesterday and done an amazing job. From booking to the actual day, Michelle went above and beyond with our requests and ensured there was plenty of good food and an excellent variety. Would thoroughly recommend for a function, we will return for a meal soon. Thank you Michelle and well done…you done our Mum proud

This is a fabulous find, the couple that run it went above and beyond for us on Friday evening and we will be back, great selection of beers spirit and wine charming courtyard seating, level car park, only sad we got there to late to eat

A basic pub created inside an old farm building adjacent to the driving range. Offers TV and bar snacks. Allows motorhomes to overnight stay. Friendly helpful landlord. Worth a visit.

Good basic menu, a warm welcome and cool beer. Close to the A34 and room to park a camper van if you want to fancy breaking your journey for a meal.

I actually love this place, friendly atmosphere, great food and the landlady is an absolute legend! Keep up the good work!! Highly recommend to all!

This is not quite a pub and not quite a social club. Seems to fall somewhere between the two.Food is excellent. However, it must be said, the kitchen is not always open. (Ring to check first).It has a small agricultural estate nearby and sometimes the workers pop in for a bevvy or two either at lunchtime or on their way home.Darts, pool team, T.V.Very friendly.Worth checking out.

Después de un día razonable de Newbury carreras (evitando un montón de gente borrachos) finalmente llegamos al gusto de Inglaterra 18,45 , esperando una pinta tranquila y relajante y algo de comida. La cocina no estaba abierto, así que decidimos pasar un par de cervezas antes de retirarse a nuestro hotel cercano. La bien mi esposa y yo nos quedamos impresionados con el número de personas que habían sido carreras así como nosotros. El idioma era terrible y muy ruidosa en especial de las mujeres que estaban allí.Parece de escuchar desde algunos comentarios de gente que esto es lo normal en este establecimiento y es una situación normal.En el lado positivo la ale era bueno y el caballero detrás del bar era una persona muy agradable y amigable.En el lado negativo, es sin duda, no es un lugar para llevar niños pequeños.Creo que lo que lo hace peor fue encontrar que una de las damas ( ?) que estaba usando un lenguaje muy madura era "la casera".Nos estaría interesado en visitar otra vez para ver si este establecimiento es diferente cuando no se están celebrando reuniones de carreras en Newbury.

Yo y mi primo fuimos a jugar bolas de golf al lado del sabor de Inglaterra y luego decidimos tomar un bocado mientras estábamos allí, el personal era muy agradable y la comida era fresca y llena de sabor. Fantástica relación calidad-precio en general, es un buen lugar para parar a almorzar.Lo recomiendo!

Reservamos el día antes ya que sé de otros que la comida recién hecha a la orden, me llevé a toda la familia y teníamos un domingo fantástico asado con todos los adornos. Era realmente bueno, nos dieron mucho y fue a un precio razonable. El propietario era un chico muy amable y todo el mundo nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. He regresado ya que tener una pinta y utilizar la conexión wi-fi gratis y me encanta el lugar. Si viviera más cerca que sin duda sería mi local. Si lo que quieres es un pub tradicional británico no busques más ...

Este lugar es una obligación para personas que desean ver vestimenta elegante en cualquier momento.Un viejo vagabundo usando un abrigo de la oficina de correos, un notherner usando un pintor y decoradores organizo, otro chico pretender ser un bin hombre, algo vieja dama con pelo estilo los pitufos azules, y muchos más.La comida es anunciado, pero no parece ser la falta de personal cocina y el ambiente es el de un pub local y no un establecimiento para comer. Mi segunda y última visita a este lugar.

Probamos la comida primera vez esta noche! El nivel era de un café típico de transporte con la adición de un bar!El bistec sobresaliente era un ofrecimiento típico de supermercado. No había toque en la cocina o la presentación! Estaba preparado para el punto donde si iba más allá sería cartón!Los precios del bar eran más elevados de lo que me esperaba pero adecuada para la zona.No es el lugar para llevar a alguien si quería impresionar!En general es un pub de familia y sólo puede ser descrito como un pub comidas haciendo de bar!

i visita la distintos estilos de Inglaterra cuando salen del ejército obviamente no todosa menudo, pero siempre encontramos un pub muy agradable buena comida bien cocinada,encargado y casera de vacaciones no sé el encargado de actuarpero logró el pub brillantemente el encargado y casera debemuy relajado en sus vacaciones sabiendo que está en esas buenas manos

Una visita muy decepcionado a este establecimiento. El restaurante anuncia comida vendidos desde las 7 de la tarde hasta las 9 pm y llegamos a las 19:30 h y me dijeron la cocina estaba cerrada. Escuchando algunas de las personas que estaban beber esto parece ser una práctica habitual. decidimos intentarlo en 3 ocasiones diferentes y lo mismo cada vez. El restaurante? (más como un pub) no estaba muy ocupado con 2 personas jugando cuna en una esquina y con algunos muy extraño y lenguaje fuerte. unas pocas personas jugando dardos. No es un lugar muy acogedor (a menos que un representante).

Good honest pub grub at decent prices. Landlord very welcoming and a nice ale on tap. Building is a converted farm outbuilding which feels a bit like a community hall so slightly surreal atmosphere, but food and welcome makes up for this.

There is not many pubs these days I would like to call my local but this one hits the mark. If you remember when a pub was a place to relax and enjoy a good meal without being rushed,hassled or ripped off this's is the place to visit. In a nice quiet out of town location I should keep this one to myself but I feel I have to share it with you......hope to see you there!.

Well this is a nice quiet country pub with a lovely home feel!This place has recently been refurbished and it is lovely now! After having a very nice chat with the very nice owner, he told me he'd done it up and I must say, what a superb job!I'll be going again!Guest ale on each week and some local bands playing occasionally...Very very nice place to go!
