Long time customer. Consistently great quality food, thoughtfully sourced ingredients and nicely put together. Great drinks selection. Kids meals are no fuss, they’ll do anything on the menu as a kids meal. Simply our go-to pub

We have just had the most wonderful experience at our new favourite pub! Called in on the hop just to get a bite and check it out. Wonderful setting, interior and exterior absolutely beautiful. Staff were wonderful. Quick, really polite and attentive. Food-great selections available on menu. We had Caesar salad and the monkfish. It was first class. Really beautifully cooked and presented. Wine also very nice. Would have probably stayed longer but the annoying scousers complaining put us off! Not your fault the swan, we’ll be back!

Lovely village pub. We moored on the nearby canal and took a 10 minute walk in. Lovely atmosphere. Great food well cooked and presented - a little on the pricey side to be honest. If I had one observation it was on service - I sought some clarification on a meal I was ordering, the server clearly did not know the details of the food and worse could not understand why I was asking.

We visited on our narrowboat but really wanted to stay...forever!. From entering to leaving and without a booking we were looked after by Lillian and team in an amazing way. They made us feel very welcome and almost like we were regulars. The food was faultless (Double cheese burger, and 4 bar nibbles). We have recently travelled all over the country and this is one of the finest pubs (top 3) that we have been lucky enough to visit. Immaculately clean also which is pretty rare. Keep up the good work! Love from Dave and Rachel....Narrowboat Holly x

Absolutely no complaints at all. Myself and my friends passed this as part of our walk and stopped in for a pint (excellent selection), then decided to look at the food menu. At first it does look a bit steep, but that shouldn’t put you off. The food was amazing and you could tell that good quality ingredients were used. It’s not your typical “pub grub”, the menu was fantastic and the selection and variety was second to none. Both inside and outside seating areas were plentiful and the staff were brilliant and very friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

We havent been to the Swan since 2016, and coming off the canal and walking up to the pub we were amazed by how much this pub has changed! We were greeted by the lovely Ben at the bar who was very informative and told us about all the changes and he was very accommodating in bringing our drinks to the table. The beer battered haddock was some of the best I have ever, the rest of the staff were lovely and chatty and we really enjoyed our time at the Swan. We will definitely be back in the near future! I recommend anyone that travels on the canals of Marbury please visit the Swan!

Arrived at 5pm for our pre booked table with 2 very hungry children. Shown to our table near the exit to toilets. Drinks order taken. Drinks served. One beer slopped on table. No offer of top up and table not wiped after spillage. After nearly an hour no order taken so had to ask staff who were round the corner eating their own meals. Asked for extra plate when order came but it never materialized. Had to ask for other condiments other than salt and pepper. Had to go and ask for the bill and then again for the card machine. Prices high for poor service. No children’s menu and no reductions on smaller portions for them.

Marbury is a pretty village with a delightful pub - the Swan. It is hard to fault this pub. Plenty of car parking, a lovely building, a warm welcome and efficient unobtrusive service. The bar is very well-stocked and the menu is straightforward and comprehensive. The food is delicious. This is our first visit and it certainly won't be last.

Lovely, spacious, traditional pub. Excellent Sunday roast. Food fairly expensive but good-sized portions. Good range of real ales. Friendly welcome and quick service despite being busy. Only minor downside is that they don't do custard with puddings - and sticky toffee pudding isn't the same without it.

The Yellow Broom is best described as a blend of pure elegance with a splash of sophistication. The setting is undeniably beautiful, complemented by a warm welcome from the staff, who are clearly well-trained in delivering exceptional silver service. The menu offers a well-balanced selection of cuisine, ensuring there's something to delight every palate. The presentation of the dishes was nothing short of exquisite, and the flavors were simply delightful. The staff were remarkably attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant were both appealing and comfortable, enhancing the overall dining experience. The Yellow Broom is a truly first-class establishment that consistently maintains high standards. I highly recommend a visit—you will not be disappointed.

Visited to meet a friend for coffee, this was a good half way point for us. Service was good, they had decaff option which was a plus, nice atmosphere.

Lovely location, after walking around the adjacent reservoir we had an excellent meal and fantastic welcome from John and family The bar was dog friendly. We will definitely return .
