Roast dinner was excellent quality and soo very delicious. Everything you want and more of a roast dinner. Highly recommend to everyone. Thanks guys. You’ve made my Sunday. Will definitely order again and again ♥️😊

Placed an order on just eat for £60 was very dissalointed to find it cancelled with no reason at all. There is not even a phone number that works for this place so beware people

Really amazing service and friendly vibes. Were searching for a pub that served Sunday roast in the late afternoon and they more than delivered. Food was a slightly long wait but more than worth it and the chef even bought us a drink to apologise for the wait which was very kind, as was everyone who worked here! Food wise the portions were great and reasonably priced, mash and roasted potato combination was our personal favourite and delicious! Was a little bit on the cold side but that’s okay as there was a jugful of hot gravy to pour over everything! All in all a lovely place for a Sunday roast and friendly pint.

Amazing place and very good atmosphere to be! I also had my drinks served by Laima she was very sweet and helpful to me while I was there on my visit!

It has a potential to be a lovely place, but, apart from the friendly staff, it just doesn't work. 3 stars only because we drank our drinks and ate all of our food - we were indeed hungry. Friday evening, it was practically empty, and we wondered why. Well.... You could see they were going through some changes inside, and that's alright. Interior looks nice but you can see lots of dodgy DYI in progress. Beer was okay, meal prices were low. Half the items on the menu were unavailable (import problems - fair enough). Card paying machine was broken (they told us in advance, so all good. We ordered nachos, they were tasty, really tasty, and also really cold. Completely cold. Couldn't believe it, but we didn't complain because we ate it all. We had burgers - huge portions for less than £10. We did wonder if we're gonna be sick from the meat. We didn't. It could have been spices in the meat, but it smelled bad. Definitely not going again. Shame, it has potential to be a wonderful place. I hope they get it sorted.

Very odd. I'd been in a few other pubs that night. But this pub was virtually empty at 8pm on a Saturday night. Charged £10 for a pint of moretti and a pint of John smiths . When I asked how much a John smiths is, I was told that the till is broken, so every drink is £5. A strange way to handle things. The moretti definitely wasn't moretti, and when I queried it, I was told that it definitely WAS moretti. When it CLEARLY wasn't. There was no doubt about it. Now I know why the place was empty.

We stumbled across this cute little pub after an afternoon of wedding dress shopping. Me and my girls had the best time. Very friendly service, homely feel to it with a relaxed environment. Very clean and the portion sizes were amazing value for money. We shall be returning. It's lovely to see a pub doing some Mexican style cuisine, rather than your usual "run of the mill, pub grub". They serve family favorites such as cottage pie, bangers and mash and an amazing roast dinner (hoping to try this out some time!) we loved the fact you could order Nachos, fajita's (chicken, steak or halloumi or all 3 if your heart desired. The three of us LOVED it and will be coming back and also recommending to anyone in the area. Well done everyone! 👏👏👏

Nice pub. Friendly welcome and great service. We went on a Thursday specifically for the jerk BBQ and it did not disappoint. The chef gave us a discount but we opted to still pay full price as the food and service were both spot on. Also they had very good Covid precautions and we felt very safe. Would like a few more ales to choose from

We were staying in Camber for the week and was looking for somewhere to eat, it was eat out to help out so everywhere was booked up. The Swan were able to fit us In and althoug it was a drive to get there it was the best eating experience we had had all week. Staff friendly and accommodating, food was banging, fajitas, ribs, burgers etc all excellent. It was so good we returned on our last night last night for our farewell meal. I was surprised this little pub wasn't much busier. Definitely give it a go, I don't think you will be disappointed! Car parking not 500yards away too. Perfect! Ps. Haloumi was awesome too! Andy.

Ordered through just eat order.was late and.cold steak was definitely not rib eye as it was tough as old boots restraunt dont update orders saying delivered so just eat cant do anything not happy food was cold.

Just ordered 4 meals on (just eat) , 2 roast dinners, sausage/mash/peas and cottage pie, the roast dinners were yummy and looking forward to eat the other 2 tomorrow 😋

Love this pub. If you're looking for a nice and a relatively quiet place to have a drink, this pub is quite good for that as music isn't too loud. Also quite family friendly and nice food.

Neil and Sue were super friendly making this a great place. Neal catered excellently to our families Vegetarian needs which is not always easy in Ashford.

First time we have eaten here and booked a table for fathers day. The Sunday roast was fantastic and we would thoroughly recommend it. Hot, really well cooked and lots of it.

had a meal here a couple of weeks ago with friends, the food was absolutely lovely.i had the chefs special home made steak and ale pie, lovely. absolutely be back to sample more of the menu.

I had a great meal, cooked fresh using only local produce. The sticky chicken sauce is amazing. The pub is really lovely, with new decor throughout, and the chef is very passionate about bringing home cooked food to the town. Highly recommend!

I was pleasently surprised to see The Swan open again when walking past this evening so popped in with my wife for a drink and some food. We were greeted by a freindly lady behind the bar and i really like what the new owners have done with the decor. I chose the Cheese burger and my wife had the sticky chicken - both meals were good sized portions and were freshly cooked to order using locally sourced ingredients. The chef and owner Neil made us feel very welcome and is pasionate in trying to give Ashford something different than what all of the other establishments in town offer - A lovely guy who cooked us some lovely food. We will both be going back soon and recommend that you pop along and support a local business and not the corporate souless pubs that plague the town. They also have a Billiard table! Win Win

The new owners of the pub have done a great job of revamping The Swan. It's decorated beautifully and is a welcome addition to the town centre. We had a Sunday roast and a dessert which were both really good. Staff are friendly and keen to give this pub a good reputation with home made food and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit here.

Just what ashford needs a friendly local nice people amazing food fantastic staff usually only find a place like this further out in the countryside so nice to have this closer to home love it can’t recommend it enough

First class welcome traditional family dog friendly and children welcome . Nothing was to much trouble relaxed atmosphere , and full compliments to the chef . Will visit again a welcome change to have such a warm friendly pub well done. Under new management wish you both well . 😀

This public house has been taken over by a keen couple who are trying to instil some old school charm into a once rough and tumble pub. The new menu is excellent with the chef adding his own brand of style with a touch of good quality home cooked food. The pub has a nice feel about the place and the staff are most welcoming. There are 2 disabled parking places in the front of the building making access for the disabled very user friendly. There are no off putting distractions from overly loud music which means everyone could talk to each other without having the need to shout while the lay out of the pub flows very well...my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the family Sunday lunch and will definitely be going back again soon.
