Such a lovely place with very nice service amd delicious food. Highly recommended.

Wonderful staff. My waitress was Sam and she made me feel like I was her only customer. She answered all questions I had on the Gluten Free foods they served. My food was lovely and my daughter enjoyed hers. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Terrible visit. Wished we had left after first server walked away and rolled her eyes after we asked for water. After talking to another who had no clue about menus and the last server telling us discounts were on an app but too late for our lack lustre meal.Salad bar not well stocked and grubby. Not worth the money.

Visit the harvest often with my sister for lunch, always friendly and relaxed atmosphere, all waiting staff are all friendly and welcoming. Our server josie was AMAZING! Her humour and calmness made our experience so much more enjoyable. Thank you Josie you rockstar!!!!

Trish our server was great, and the food was great too!

Not having booked a table, we were 'Walk Ins', yet were treated as if we had booked in advance. Explaining about a medical condition (Photosensitive Epilepsy), we were seated in an area that was safe for my wife. We then met Trish, our waitress. Trish was lovely, she not only took our order, including food allergies, but delivered our 'Refillable Drinks', explained about the Salad bar etc etc and without being invasive she regularly checked that everything was okay and that we were happy etc. In short. good food, value for money and thanks largely to Trish, excellent service.

Food on menu has changed considerably, prices have increased. Overall Harvester is not longer an affordable location to take a family.

One of our party has very recently been put on a very strict allergen diet. The host who served us, Sam, went above and beyond what was asked of her to help my friend find something to eat.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at the Harvester Bybrook Barn in Ashford. Between the three of us, we all opted for the full English and were really impressed with the quality of the food. It was cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes were generous – just what you need to set you up for the day! We also appreciated that we could make changes to the standard breakfast to suit our individual preferences. What really elevated our experience, though, was the exceptional service we received from our server, Trish. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and offering helpful recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble, and she really went the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with our visit to Harvester Bybrook Barn. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service from Trish was outstanding. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Harvester to anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast in Ashford. We'll definitely be returning to this Harvester again soon, and hopefully, Trish will be there to look after us!

Staff here are lovely, really friendly and helpful. Our server was quick to tell us what offers we could take advantage of which we really appreciated- wouldn't have known otherwise and always happy to save a few quid! The food itself wasn't amazing; the salad bar has massively gone down hill which is saying something. Our main meals were both lukewarm when they arrived at our table. My steak skewers tasted odd, they'd definitely used a very cheap cut of meat so they were really chewy. We've been here a few times and know not to expect anything amazing with Harvester but the standards really have dropped which is a shame. Let's hope it was an off-day!

Great breakfast will come again

It's not like it used to be. The salad bar was pretty empty, no-one was refilling as the 4 staff and manager were serving tables. The food came out within minutes , ribs and rotisserie chicken. So pre cooked and warmed over the bbq. Chicken skin wasn't crispy, ribs are barely coated in sauce. But, in today's standards, where staff are at a minimum, and margins are tight, the food is still pretty good, very tasty and succulent.. We had a buy one get one free, so even better. Would we give again? Yeah,with a voucher.

Millie was the host test with the most test very friendly couldn’t do enough for us. My friend was particular about his steak. She made sure it was served perfectly. We had a good time and would recommend this restaurant.

My Aunty and I dined on 13.10.24 for her birthday. Our waiter was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and he was charming and professional throughout. The food was delicious and my Aunty even had a candle to blow out on her mini banoffee waffle. A thoroughly lovely evening thank you.

Today we came in for lunch, Sam was a fantastic server, helped us through the new menu ( some people don't like chillies) made sure that we were happy with food. Sam was informative, friendly and great customer service. The food was delicious and hot, enough time in-between courses too! Definitely will come back again!

We had breakfast at Harvester’s Bybrook Barn, and Sam and hey sister Tanya, made our experience absolutely delightful! They were attentive, friendly, and their energy brightened up our morning. From the moment we sat down, she made sure we were well taken care of, with impeccable customer service and a great sense of humour. Their genuine care and attentiveness didn’t go unnoticed, and we left with smiles thanks to them. Highly recommend asking for Sam or Tanya when you visit – they'll make your dining experience even more enjoyable!

We have been a few times recently and it's always a positive experience. Served by Sam each time who is a credit to you. She is always friendly, attentive and goes above and beyond.

We booked for a fairly large table for my daughter's 14th birthday. Sam was amazing. Nothing was too much effort even when 2 guests had to leave suddenly. Both meals were boxed up so they could enjoy at home. Sam came out with another staff member (I didn't get his name) with a bowl of ice cream with a candle singing happy birthday which was very unexpected and a lovely addition to the evening. The food was amazing as ever aswell. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Sam has been our waitress the last 3 times we have visited and never disappoints. Thank you

Sam, our server was great.. Always happy and upbeat...Food was good and got a booking last minute which was good.. Unfortunately our son was feeling unwell, but Sam was happy to pack his food and take it with us, once me and my wife had finished..

Quite liked harvester before they changed the menu. The new menu is awful. Luckily they still have the items from the old menu.

Very, very disappointing. 10 mins to take a drinks order, another 15 mins to order food. Ordered food then had to wait for salad bowls. Salad very nice. When food eventually arrived the waiter didn't remove the salad bowls. Drinks glasses sat at end of table for the whole mealtime, waiter didn't come over and check everything was alright or to check if we wanted more drinks.

What a lovely experience. The service received by Neross was wonderful so bubbly and attentive. The new menu had a lot of choices and flavours to choose from. The only negative of the experience was it was not specified that there was an extra charge for the sweet potato fries but other than that a lovely meal out

Me and my partner came for dinner on a last minute booking a while back. We where greeted by Ellie and shown to our table. Her communication was remarkable, kindest person we encountered the entire night! The other staff were lovely but Ellie stood out. Even after we were seated and our server greeted us Ellie came to check if we were okay and that we had everything. Throughly impressed. And the food was delicious. If we have the time to go out for dinner we would certainly return! Thank you for making our experience one to remember Ellie :)

Went for dinner at 17:00 and was surprised how busy it was already given that's when they are open for dinner. Food arrived relatively quickly though. Waiting staff - whilst helpful are fairly busy so if you have any queries try and ask all in one go as you may be waiting a while before they manage to come back

Not only was the food top notch considering you had several meals with different criteria to cook but the waitress millie was an absolute darling and couldn't do enough for us.thank you harvester will definitely be returning. Unclean and dangerous. We visited for my son's 5 birthday. We have been previously but the place was filthy so we said we would not return - however we wanted to give it a second attempt and my son really wanted to go. BIG MISTAKE. Place is disgusting. We booked for 12:00 - toliets filthy - i had to clean the toliet myself before my daughter could use it, table dirty, floor sticky, bill came out on a bit tray caked with old food. Service was poor , waited a long time for even drinks. But worse of all - my 2 year old baked beans had a used salt packet inside them - a massive health issue as she could have eaten this ! We left our food at this point and didn't accept the ice cream included with the kids meals. How could we enjoy our food after that. Manager was too busy to speak to us when we complained to our server- they took £10 off the bill - really! More concerning for me if the cook didn't check the bowl is clean , could they be bothered to wash there hands ? Have good kitchen hygiene? I doubt it. This place cant do the basics right. What an awful birthday experience. We left without finishing our meals and won't be back . Don't make the same mistake we did - go somewhere else .... ANYWHERE else.

Had a really nice meal here. Parking was easy. It was busy when we arrived, but we wasn't waiting long before we sat down. We did book before we arrived and I would always recommend that as it was busy here for an evening meal. The bar area where you enter is very cute and quaint. Old barn style building with wooden supports everywhere, looks great and traditional. The restaurant followed the same theme. Where we sat was nice. The restaurant wasn't too noisy which was excellent, even with lots of kids here. Our server was friendly and efficient. Food came out relatively quick considering how busy it was. My only gripe was that the selection at the salad bar wasn't great. Lots of things missing that they offer at our local Harvester. Also there is only one self serve soft drinks machine, so every time I went to use it, I had to queue and wait. Only minor complaints, but overall it's a good Harvester and I would recommend it!

3 of us visited for a Christmas breakfast treat. I had the traditional breakfast & my 2 colleagues had the build your own breakfast. It was really lovely & I struggled to finish mine. Pre booking is recommended & so is a bank loan as I thought £36 in total was a tad pricey. Staff were super helpful and the venue is relaxing. I preferred it when the breakfast was buffet style self service but it's now table service. Update 19/09/2024. Great breakfast. Freshly cooked with quality ingredients. Reasonably priced considering the location. Far better than any greasy spoon.

I visit the restaurant quite a bit with family and friends and I must say that being ‘unhappy’ with either food or service hardly ever happens. Sometimes the salad bar could do with refreshing and cleaning a little more often. Today we had Sam.L and as always her level of service and friendliness is impeccable. This lady works incredibly hard, has many tables to look after and yet NEVER makes you feel that you are having to wait or being rushed. There are a few servers that regularly work here that make the visit more enjoyable. This is down to their fantastic personalities and how they look after us. Please look after these and all of your staff members Harvester and make them feel appreciated as they are the back bone to the restaurant. Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to my next visit. Only quibble please cut up the peppers more on the salad cart as the pieces are huge.

We had sirloin steak and it was delicious. The gentleman that showed us to our table has been there for a very long time, he's lovely and always smiling. Makes you feel welcome. The price is very reasonable and always has been. Oh and the beef dripping gravy sauce is to die for!

It was my first time in a Harvester and it was excellent, I was there to celebrate a family member's birthday. The service was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect.

Had a great lunch at ByBrook Harvester today. Food was excellent but I just wanted to say thank you so much for the attention and service Sam (blonde) gave us. We were sitting on table 8 and she couldn’t do enough for us. She would be a massive reason why I would use Bybrook harvester again!

Lovely place for a birthday breakfast!

Went for breakfast on 3 consecutive mornings. Lovely lady served us on first 2 mornings. She was friendly and did a good job. On the Fri, she was off. The woman who was in charge that morning sighed when we asked for a table. Was totally opposite to previous mornings. She obviously wanted breakfast over and didn't want any more customers in. Breakfasts were very nice. My partner loved the fruit and pancakes each morning. The classic breakfast was also good. Nice to have a choice on how to have the eggs. Shame about the lady in charge on the Fri.

We shared a meal with our British family. All you can eat salad buffet. Hearty dishes and desserts. Waitress Milly takes great care of her. Family atmosphere. We already want to go back 😉

The beautiful barn converted architecture was always our family favourite. Food was wonderful, especially the roasted ribs, done to perfection. Cody who was looking after our table was funny, charismatic and considerate. A real wonderful staff to the restaurant. Will visit again
