Best Chinese takeaway in Ashford. Never disappoints.

We were recommended The Green Asian by a friend today because we remembered that our usual Chinese takeout was shut today, like many others on a Monday. So we thought we’d give the Green Asian a go. So this is our first time that we ordered from here and my gosh, it was DELICIOUS! Definitely better than who we usually go for in Ashford Town. We got 11 portions of food (big order as we had family staying) for £55+£3 delivery. If we had got our order from our usual place, we’d have 4 less portions for the same price of £55. That’s ridiculous right! I’m so glad we were recommended The Green Asian and gave it a go. You don’t know until you try! At least now, we know that when me and my partner order from here, it’s going to be reasonably priced, able to get more for our money & super yum! 😋 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food is vile, salt and pepper chicken taste like sick 🤢 had some bbq chicken thing was full of water. Rice is boil in the bag can tell the chicken isn’t fresh !! Absolutely vile

Regular chinese every weekend without fail.. was recommended via a family Friend and I'm glad I took the suggestion... food has always been hot when delivered and very tasty.. recommend the beef curry literally melts in your mouth. Salt and chilli crispy beef is also a must.. we have been awkward in the pasted due to other members not like certain ingredients and they've still succeed.. would recommend to anyone... also constantly being tagged via Facebook Post ect as a recommended Chinese

Visiting the area and fancied Asian food. The food was very good, I'd definitely frequent this place if I was local. The website allows you to order for delivery but they may not actually deliver to your area. They immediately called to inform me of this and I collected. I probably wouldn't have ordered from there if I'd know. Thus a 4 star instead of 5.

This was our third time getting dinner from here, it has so far been the best Chinese/ Asian food in Ashford and surrounding areas. The front of house staff are fantastic, really helpful and the service is always fab. The food is delicious, always hot, great portion sizes and pretty good prices. Highly recommend.

I had high hopes due to a recommendation…. Pros and cons…. Pros 1) quick delivery. 2) very good noodles (according to my wife). 3) decent competitive prices. 3) rice was perfect. Cons 1) one meal tasted EXACTLY like tinned bamboo shoots event though it shouldn’t. 2) Order was wrong (even then we looked on the bright side and looked forward to sampling new things)

Always a decent takeaway, helps if you live nearby so that you can collect. Chicken satay is amazing and also the Thai green curry is also very good.

This was our first time of using Green Asian after hearing good things and we were not disappointed at all from service, delivery and taste. We would highly recommend and will definitely be using again. You have gained yourself a new long term loyal customer. Thank you to all your team and keep up the good work. Our only slight negative which can be easily improved was that the food was not quite as hot as we are used too on delivery, but not cold enough to spoil the experience. Amazing food ring in advance if you want your food on time as it is really busy always come here for a Chinese and always been perfect food

Disappointing tonight, we always order from Green Asian but 2 hours passed before I called asking where our delivery is. The guy I spoke to was apologetic and said it’d be 5-10 minutes maximum, another 30 minutes passes when the delivery driver calls and can’t find our address which isn’t particularly difficult to find. Food still not here at 21:21 and we ordered at 18:55.

Service was very quick, we ordered a takeaway for 6 people on Sunday evening and it took 15-20 minutes until it was ready. The food was delicious, my favourite dish is the pan pan chicken! All of the dishes were lovely, we spent around 14 pounds each and there was a huge amount of food!

Really good food, duck was a little fatty and the orange sauce wasn't great. Ribs were substantial and tasty, generous amounts of prawn crackers and sesame prawn toast. Prompt delivery, decent price and very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend and order again.

After constant debating of where to get Chinese from we was fed up of our regular balls always turned up oily an dark from old oil flavour lacking we again we through reviews and decided to try the green Asian and over whelmed how fresh everything was the prawn balls were light in colour as was the prawn toast clearly fresh oil used everything was hot and great flavour if you like salt n chilli squid this is the best place we have found so far nice soft fluffy coating with outstanding flavour this will now be our new go to for Chinese every dish outstanding. We'll done guys

Easily the best quality of food, we have sampled many of the local restaurants before settling on these guys as our firm choice! Great menu section, online ordering, quick delivery. 5*’s easy rating to give.

Really disappointed. I order from green Asian regularly and tonight my food was awful. I rang the restaurant and offered to send pictures and the chef said that no one else has complained so it must just be me and that the food is supposed to be like that. AWFUL customer service and vile food. The dish we had was clearly re heated as it was cold and warm in places and the sauce was congealed and jelly like. The prawn toast was filled with oil and that’s all I could taste. Used to love green Asian. However the last couple of times I’ve ordered the food hasn’t been up to scratch.

Love this takeaway and think it’s probably one of the best in Ashford. There’s always a bit of a queue but that’s always a good sign! I ordered online and collected my meal in about 25 minutes. They do deliver but that always seems busier and the advise you to 40-50 minutes for delivery so we just collect. Good selection of food from various Asian countries so always something new to try! If you fancy a Chinese Takeaway and near Ashford Kent the give this place a try!

After placing an order online, we waited 1hr30 (which was the delivery time communicated). I called them to find out where my food was, they explained it hadn’t been cooked yet and will be another 30mins. Instead of apologising or offering a discount / throw something in as a gesture of good will for the inconvenience, they said no. We asked to speak to the manager who wasn’t onsite and no one else could help. They did say, “they were doing us a favour by accepting our order as they don’t usually order to our area” which is not the case as we have placed multiple orders from here before, and are only 5 mins from their shop. Wouldn’t recommend, very poor customer service and management.

Had a takeaway for one a few days ago. First time and probably not the last. Food was nicely cooked and even though I have a good appetite, it did me for two meals!

Driving pass this amazing Chinese take away on Sunday night as everywhere else was closed so we thought give it a try, surprisingly amazing food. Tomyum prawn soup was really delicious and mains prawn red thai curry with white rice which was delicious. Definitely recommend this place if u ever visit Eastwell manor.

Food turned up half an hour late. It was no longer hot and what's worse was that all the boxes were covered in leaked sauce, including a puddle at the bottom of the bag. We emailed twice and they didn't care enough to respond.

Lovely flavoured food but I just wish they would use real chicken breast. I'm trying every shop in the area trying to find real chicken so any recommendations would be appreciated. If I wanted a can of chicken spam I'd have gone to Co op.

Ordered our meal for a home delivery. An easy and pleasant process thanks to the member of staff who took our order. I specified a time for our food delivery and sure enough, our food arrived at our door bang on time and piping hot. Individual quantities of each element of our order were as expected, and as usual, the food was wonderful. We have used The Green Asian previously, and will continue to do so.

I ordered a lot of food with my family and was extremely happy with the service i received. The food was delicious, and was delivered within 45 minutes! I will defiantly be ordering again! :)

Ordered £108 worth of food as a takeaway ..2.5 hrs later and 60 plus phone call attempts later,i get through and rhe Poor girl on the phone has to then speak to a manager and ring me back, waited for that phone call, the manager then get back to her and she tells us that he has offered us 10% off our £108 bill!!!for waiting 2 1/2 hours mean while the driver is at our door . So girl is on the phone and is understang ro the fact that i was going to send it back and now have the oven on to cook somthing and sent the whole order back .. this was a shambles not due to front of house staff but they are over worked and proberly underpayed feel sorry for them but a shower of s*** in general

I think people must eat so badly to think this food was good.Asian food is so healthy and clean and yet there is not one Chinese takeaway that actually makes just that.Simply clean food.Stick a load of MSG, add cornflour and “others” to a generic “sauce” add to every dish.We ordered supposedly Korean, Thai and Japanese and bit of Chinese. All the same tasteless sludge and expensive.The chicken chow mein was burnt? How Unless you eat takeaways often and 3 times a week - steer clear!

Late delivery, rang to enquire only to be constantly asked to wait by the young lady at the end of the phone who continually served customers whilst I was waiting, I decided to hang up as the food arrived. Wife said hers was very nice and the prawn crackers were very fresh and crisp, all the food was piping hot however my dish was extremely bland.

This is our 2nd Green Asian delivery. It is, with no doubt, the best Asian take away in Ashford. I cannot believe we have only just discovered it. Tonight we had a beautifully cooked, fresh delivered meal once again. It was outstanding. We will be regularly having a take away from here. It has trumped all our usual haunts! we moved to Ashford 2 years ago & was recommended here by a friend. We have never had a bad meal from here. Its always hot, fresh & tasty. Never greasy or bland. The young girl on reception is always cheerful & polite and is an asset to you.

It was our first take away from the Green Asian this evening. Having read previous reviews, we chose them for our Saturday night takeaway.We had a delivery, which came within the stipulated time. The food was hot and freshly cooked. Every dish was beautiful. We were impressed with extras like the prawn crackers with a dip and the fortune cookies, a really lovely gesture, greatly appreciated.We will definitely order again. Thank you Green Asian.

The menu was deceivingly basic. Simple graphic design, lured me to the think he food would follow suite. I was mistaken.This place used to be purely Chinese food. They've now seemed to have changed hands and, branch out to both Thai and Japanese food. I opted for take aways peeking ribs, which I am quite critical of. The ribs were cooked very well, the flavour and sauce was also very good. Perhaps the peeking sauce could have been a little less coloured + thick, but that other than that, 7/10 ribs.King Prawn boodles were on point! Lovely hints of ginger, and the noodles and king prawns cooked very well. Certainly had that Thai feel. 8/10The lets downs were spring rolls and extra sauce. Not to much flavour in the rolls. Packed, just not with flavour. The additional black bean sauce was also not very flavoured, and perhaps a little to thick, resembling gravy.Overall, best take out Kennington has to offer in my opinion!

Our monthly visit to the green Asian and it didn't dissapoint. We have our usual dishes some of the customised as hubby can't have onions so these are taken out. Great that you get free prawn crackers after you spend soo much thank you.

We searched online for different places and came across this, Looking at the menu it had loads of variety in their dishes and as some of us are veggies it caters for all we ordered online and the site was easy to use. We got our emails keeping us up to date with our order and the delivery was prompt, the food was really nice and tasty we will definitely use again or recommend to friends and family

My wife was recommended to try this take away by a work colleague. We have lived in Ashford for 10 years and ordered take out from most take aways. Thai, Indian, Pizza, Gurkha, Turkish so I could say we have tried them all apart from The Green Asian. I logged on to the Green Asian website, created an account 1-2 minutes later, create your order. I was presented with a variant of dishes from different Asian cuisines. Chinese, Japanese, Hong Kong and Korean. Usually it’s a 3-4 minute couple of clicks on just eat from the usual take away foods on order and on the way. New choices and variants of our usual dishes we order the on line menu for the Green Asian requires a little reading not a bad thing just a much wider pallet for the dishes to choose. Food chosen order placed requested for delivery as soon as possible. All good, received the email order confirmation and a link to track our order. The email lists what you have ordered and an option to add or change dishes if required I’d expect you’d have a 2-3 minute window for this but it’s not clear on the email. The Email provides an order reference number and an advisory warning if after 45 minutes your food does not arrive to call the number. First time ordering after an hour I picked up the telephone I would have knocked the review down to 3 due to the time taken to deliver However the owner apologised as their internet was down and they had not been receiving orders via their website. Why have I given them a 5 * rating and not slated the lack of speed with the delivery service and rated 2-3 *!It’s not their fault they had an issue with the internet this happens. I may suggest perhaps a mobile teetering connection from your phone as back up for future possibly. The purpose of Trip Advisor is to rate the quality of the food. When I called after the hour, I was asked what I had ordered taking this down over the phone from me he promised a 15 - 20 minute turn around 16 minutes later it was on our door step. So why 5 stars. The quality of the food which arrived Freshly prepared, lots of meat in both main dishes The Meat on the ribs we had as a starter fell off the bone and there was meat on the bone not just fat. If you have ever ordered anything supposed to be crispy before from a take away We always order crispy salt and pepper squid so gave theirs a try. Usually you Lift of the lid and the batter is all soggy from most take aways. Not from the Green Asian a very clever venting system used on the food cartons I highly recommend this take away if you want to try something a little different to the normalI shall be ordering from the Green Asian again and I look forward to working through all of the different dishes from our their menu which they have to offer

This was our go-to favourite take away for years. To our disappointment the scores on the doors suddenly dropped to 1 star over a year ago. The worst rating in Ashford in fact. We could not use it any more until they sorted out hygene and management. In February 2019 they are back on form with a 5 star scores on the doors. Well done, we will be returning to The Green Asian!

This was our favourite Chinese restaurant in Ashford, until we recently discovered the Food Hygiene Rating was only a 1. Absolutely gutted that we can no longer eat here.

We have been using this Chinese takeaway for a few months nowand I have to say it has been fantastic every time. We always have it delivered and it has been on time every time. Thoroughly recommend.

If you like sweet and sour chicken try their Pan Pan chicken. Different bit more tangy but has become the family favourite. Always good standard of food.

My wife ordered our meal at 1800 and was advised it would take an hour. 1 hour and a half later it arrived, Luke warm at best , I live 8 mins away. Upon ringing the Chinese the chap who answered was very accommodating, however when passed to the manager/owner she said it couldn't be cold, so in affect called my wife a liar. When we offered that they come and collect our order they declined and said they can't refund. I'm absolutely disgust

Awful customer service , delivered wrong food , told us to wait another hour and would only replace what they sent wrongly , asked for full refund and to collect the food and then they hung up on us

After using this take away for months, they have decided to add dairy back into their curries and do not cook from scratch which I find worrying, that a chef is incapable of making a curry sauce from scratch. They were not willing to make any accommodation for allergies.Disgusting that in this day and age with the growing success of plant based diets they are going back to the dark ages! Avoid if you have allergies or are vegan!

No complaints here. Good menu choice so if you want Chinese or Thai or even Korean they have it. Good to see plenty of tofu options as well for vegans and vegetarians.

We weren't sure what to expect when we ordered but we were pleasantly surprised. We thought the food was tastey with lots of options. It also wasn't that horrible gloopy, greasy type food you often get.

Nos ha tomado 3 meses que desplazan por aquí para encontrar el lugar perfecto, y sinceramente chino con la mano en el corazón, este es uno de los mejores que se puede encontrar en Ashford. Normalmente con todos los otros restaurantes en los que hemos intentado hay una o dos cosas que no gusto bastante justo, o completamente equivocados. Todo, desde aquí es simplemente fantástico! Recommencement seriamente no podía más. Muy agradable, la comida deliciosa y entrega inmediata, ¿qué más se puede pedir?

We have been searching for a good Chinese restaurant since the Hong Kong style Chinese in the High Street closed years ago. Through their reviews we had our first delivery today and it was really good. Salt and chilli chicken wings were lovely as were the other dishes. This will definitely be a regular from now on.

Best takeaway in whole of Ashford always order from here amazing options and great food. Can take 45 minutes in the busy times but worth the wait. Would and do recommend to anyone

Love this take away Slowly working my way through the menu but there has always been one meal I love from a Chinese. 1/4 Chicken & Chips + Gravy Not from HERE. No deep fried 1/4 Chicken. So apart from the Chicken the Food is really GOOD. Staff including delivery guy are all every friendly.

We chose this restaurant based solely on the Trip Advisor reviews. Never a good idea and we're somewhat bemused as to how it became so highly rated in the top ten list with only 15 reviews. Anyway my partner ordered red thai prawn curry. Thai red curry should be rich and flavoursome. It was brown and like watery gravy with tough prawns. His rice was better than the "curry". I ordered kung po chicken, an old favourite of mine. It was awful. Instead of a rich tangy and sweet sauce it was, guess what, watery reddish gravy. To be honest there was very little difference in the "sauce" in the two main courses. However the char sui noodles were okay and I filled up on those. So we paid £18 for rice and noodles, having dumped the main courses in the hotel bin outside. The service at the takeaway was very good however. It's just the food that lets it down.

Please give this a try ,love the fact that they state which dishes are vegetarian ,I haven't eaten Chinese food for so long as none of them do this .there is so much choice ! And for the meat eaters too, my husband loved it . Our meals arrived hot on time no grease , and full of flavours and colours beautiful .Fortune cookie are a nice touch too . Keep up the good wok :)
