Been visiting family in the mother town…. Saw The Steamhouse while heading to a nearby supermarket for some lunch and thought let’s try here instead…. We were so glad we did! Perfectly cooked Salt Beef with melted Swiss Cheese, Pickles and a mix of American mustard and ketchup….. and non vegan vegan roast with stuffing, bacon and cranberry sauce (for full vegan opt for vegan bacon) both were wrapped up in an extremely fresh Salt and Pepper (todays special flavour) bagel with a side of hash brown nuggets. The bagels were well filled and so full of flavour I had to keep putting mine down to ensure really savoured the flavour rather than ramming in my cake hole as fast as I could so it wasn’t stolen I really think these are good enough to be stolen off of someone else’s plate! Add to this cookies, doughnuts and other sweet treats to tempt who could not resist taking something home? Good luck for the future and we will certainly be back when visiting Naaam again.

Visited for a quick bite to eat last week. The lady who greeted us was grumpy, the bagel overpriced and average and there were no toilets on site. I also had to wash mine and my daughter’s clothes, coat and hair as we smelt like fryer after leaving.

You used to be able to buy one of their meat based bagels and it was optional to double your meat and to add tater tots. Now you have to have both of those things and to pay £14 for it. It’s way too much food l, I picked out the extra meat and threw the tater tots away because I didn’t want them. I won’t be coming back unless that goes back to being optional extras. £14 is a lot.

I walked past this place in the evening after checking into a nearby hotel, I looked it up online and thought yes perfect spot to grab some breakfast. Sadly it didn’t live up to my expectations. Bagel was hard and stale and the fillings kept falling out making it impossible to eat. The fillings (scrambled egg bacon mozzarella and chipotle sauce) were delicious and in the end I ate the filling and threw the bagel in the bin. A shame when they are supposed to specialize in bagels and a waste of money at over £7. They had some delicious looking cakes at 4 for £10 so I bought 4 to take home with me hoping they would be good. Sadly they look a whole lot better than they taste. The biscoff flapjack was the savior. The brownies were dry and rocky road tasted of cheap chocolate. All in all not a great experience and likely would not return.

Ordered one of the ‘special’ bagels which was prosciutto and mozzarella with a pesto Mayo type dressing. The mayo completely SATURATED everything including the bag it came in. The bagel itself was hard and stale. The prosciutto was a disgusting grey/brown colour (looked past its use by date). The rocket was wilted and brown too. Nothing on it seemed fresh apart from the overwhelming taste of basil. It was served stone cold after asking for it to be heated. Had to throw the bagel away because it was inedible and I didn’t want to get ill. Very disappointed as we’d heard good things!

Set in part of a lovely old brewery building, you can get delicious bagels, cakes and cookies here. Be advised, however, that it isn't a proper café (there are a few seats but very few and no toilet facilities) but really a take away. Those bagels are good, though.

Nice bagel choice albeit a little pricey. Services is horrendously slow though which means we don’t visit as often as we’d like

The doughnuts are all delicious, I couldn’t pick my favourite yet. There are so many to choose from. The bagels have many different fillings. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I will be back soon

Some of the best food I have ever had!! Large range of creative fillings, with plenty of meat and plant-based options. Everything INCREDIBLE! And the changing selection of doughnuts, brownies and such are equally good..... particularly since we were kindly allowed to try an extra one for free (THANK YOU!)

Service was subpar, I have been twice now and each time my order has been messed up due to lack of care and attention. Some of my order was even missing! Order a bagel and sweet treat to take away, get home to realise I’ve spent £9 (which is expensive anyway) on a bagel with the wrong filling and no cookie in sight. Won’t be returning.

Despite not even having been open a month, there was a queue out the door, and every seat taken, and with good reason! This place does premium quality bagels, doughnuts and pastries, and while you'll pay around 7 pounds for a bagel, it is definitely worth it as a treat, for the quality. My order was speedily turned around as they had enough staff on, but get in early or they'll sell out.

Great little snack bar. They had lots of different choices of pretzel-ey stuff and all was great! i’d recommend a cinnamon pretzel because of how amazing their recipe is with the cinnamon to top off.

Great to break from the Christmas shopping in this cafe. Staff very friendly and tea came with pot of hot water. May be traditional but often overlooked nowadays. Appreciated.

Always a lovely spot. Don’t understand how someone gave it less stars due to an app issue? Staff are lovely too and helpful.
