The Steamhouse in Worcester

Nice selection of bagle sandwiches on the menu and I like sitting in for brunch with a coffee when catching up with friends or partner. Comfortable space on site for eating in and location close to transport and station.

It was a big turn-off. We went there today a bit after 11. We ordered breakfast bagels at the counter, confirming clearly what we wanted to have, as the cashier asked back. My partner got what he wanted (it was also a breakfast branch) until I got something else. I said to them that wasn't my order, but they said they served breakfast till 11. Then both of them went back to do their things, not saying sorry, not asking at all if I would be happy with that or anything. Ok... So I went to the till to ask for something else (as they clearly didn't give a sh*t about the whole issue). By the end, the red hair girls just tossed my order in front of me at the table like if I'd be a dog, again, without saying a word or a sorry that she messed up my order, acting like her unprofessional attitude and low skills would be my mistake. Why don't you let me know that you can't serve certain ingredients after 11 instead of charging for something which I didn't want, especially without asking me, then act like if I'd got it wrong...?

Great bagels, even better donuts! AND they are on TooGoodToGo which is a major green tick for us waste-conscious individuals !!

I went in yesterday and felt overwhelmed as a picky eater who only ever had butter in bagels growing up. The girls in there were lovely and approachable, and the food came out very quick! I ordered the modest one (I can’t remember the name properly sorry) and a small hot chocolate. The bagel itself was delicious and will definitely be my go-to order until I try more. Also, LOVE the little pot of nachos that came with it! I’m not sure if it’s a thing to have nachos with bagels or it’s just something they do but they were great. Planning on trying some of their cakes and slices too next time! The only photo I took is from my Instagram story so I’ve coloured over the writing :)

Went here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the CBA. Can't wait to have another. The staff were helpful and friendly. We took away some brownies, they were slightly dry. If they weren't dry it would've been the full 5 stars. Thank you! X

Called in for a coffee this morning. Lovely warm welcome by staff. Had a coffee and the Biscroff Cookie which was yummy. Lots of doughnuts and they change the selection daily. Can eat in or take out. My first visit but one which I will repeat.

We came for a spontaneous lunch, the food was amazing, tasty bagels and bakery items 😋. Me and my partner both can’t wait to come back!

The bagels were amazing and so were the desserts. Shannon served us and she even asked if everything was good. Really impressed with that and really happy that they care about customers!

Visited here for the first time in January, ordered the Southern Gent a flat white and a doughnut which was delicious! Staff are lovely and the atmosphere was great! I've been back this week already!

Just had a flat white coffee which was reasonably hot staff were friendly and there did seem to be a lot of them. Comfy light and bright cafe and they sell t-shirts with Steamhouse logo

Not as good as i expected but OK. Expensive for what you get and not that tasty. Takeaway coffee does well with the office crowd,they cant seem to live without it these days. Very prompt service if your rushing for a train served by nice girls.

Steamhouse is a great place to grab a quick lunch or breakfast. The food arrives quickly and the bagels are full to the brim. A few great vegan options, including the autumn BBQ jackfruit. Plus the staff are wonderfully friendly and really make you feel welcome. Highly recommend.

If you’re going to do bagels the basic smoked salmon and cream cheese should be done properly. The salmon in mine was neither thinly sliced nor trimmed, So my bagel was filled with the thick browny/purple bits that belong in the bin …. And that’s where my bagels had to go because they were inedible. I emailed the manager and waited 24 hours for a reply but none was received.

I had the Brick Lane Classic -Really very tasty, could have been served warmer, but the ingredients were fresh and v tasty.
