Great place. Delicious Indian cuisine.

Was recommended to visit The Spice restaurant and I can't thank them enough. It was the best Indian food I've ever had, the staff were helpful and made great recommendations on what to have. This little gem is a must when visiting Tunbridge Wells.

Appalling service this evening. We have loved this curry house for a while, our last order they got wrong and kindly rectified over the phone with a credit. Tonight we ordered our curry, it took over an hour and a half to arrive, stone cold and clearly left to the last delivery, several frustrated phone calls later as we were put to the back of the queue. Never again - such a shame The Spice, we were huge advocates but don’t buy from you again. Shame.

Bland food: not worthy of its ratings. We ordered a takeaway directly from the restaurant last night. The chicken tikka masala was fine (not great) but at least it had pieces of tandoor cooked chicken. The butter chicken and lamb rogan were just sloppy sauces with sliced meats added - sliced chicken which not cooked in the sauce, same with the lamb. They were both virtually flavourless. The daal was under seasoned and the saag panner was made with unwashed chopped spinach ie it was gritty. Paneer was also tasteless. We won’t be using them again. The naan were average (garlic, Peshawar and keema). I spent £67 and it was very poor value. Delivery was also 25 minutes late.

The food used to be good and went downhill few month ago , take away was awful ie very dry and tasteless , the sauces are put to an existing cooked meat ie not cooked in the spices , the meat are cooked separate and the spices added later because when the meat is cut you can see that all the ingredients are put after and not cooked with the correct spices as told .... absolutely awful !!!! we went to whitstable and had a take away from taste of India a top notch indian restaurant , the price for our order was at a least half ! cannot understand that the spice restaurant charges just under £4 for a nan and £1.20 for a poppadom which costs 10p to makes , the chicken tikka and the tandoori chicken was awful dry and tasteless and i had to bin it , will never use them again ......

Really good restaurant, I have been a fair few times as it has great food and amazing staff. It was my dad’s birthday and they really made it special making sure that he had a great time. Would 1000% recommend this restaurant to anyone :)

Well… Birmingham boys have come out for a curry. And…. It was phenomenal. Staff absolutely fab. Really made up welcome and so quick with the drinks. Couldn’t fault. 10/10. I never leave a review

Booked a table for my wife and myself as we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. Would highly recommend The Spice for their quality of food and for their courteous staff members. We had such a lovely experience and thoroughly enjoyed our food. Would definitely come back again when we visit Royal Tunbridge Wells.

We had such an amazing meal at the spice, made extra special by Naz, one of the waiters. He recommended amazing food and looked after us so well, the rest of the staff were also wonderful and attentive. The garlic nan was incredible and the dishes were made to our liking. Would highly recommend

I don't know much about Indian food. The waiter advised the most amazing dishes ,(not the most expensive,,,). We had a lovely evening. The staff could not have been nicer. Go now,!

One of the best Indians Iv been to. We only had a take away but spent 15 minutes or so waiting and the staff were very welcoming and fun. The food was amazing. We plan on visiting and eating in soon.

We drove from Orpington, Kent, on Saturday 30th November to visit the restaurant as we were meeting up with friends afterwards. Having not been to The Spice before - we were unsure on what to expect. We hadn't pre-booked a table and although the restaurant was busy when we arrived, the restaurant staff were able to accommodate us. The service we received was very efficient and the food was very nice. Towards the end of our meal, the Manager - who was very welcoming - came over to speak with us, which was a nice touch to finish of the evening.

A really friendly Indian with a very kind and helpful staff. A great selection of food with some interesting choices I have not come across before. Normal and typical drink choice. The atmosphere was busy but respectful. I would happily visit again.

We visited this restaurant for the second time last night. We live in Felixstowe, so we can't get here often. What a fantastic place. Food, atmosphere, and great service. Manager can't do enough, helps with the menu, and will alter to your taste. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

We ordered two vegetable curries and found them to be very tasteless,overcooked and full of water. Very disappointed as we used to really rate this restaurant. Will not order again.

We recently had a work team dinner to celebrate the end of the quarter at The Spice. There were around 25 of us and the restaurant couldn't have been more helpful in organising the logistics of this. The staff were very attentive on the night and everyone really enjoyed the food. We'd definitely go back!

Have been here twice now and both times have been fantastic. The service is brilliant, the staffs friendliness and knowledge makes you want to return time and time again. The food is incredible, I have had two specials Thanks to the guidance of the waiters and both times the dish was great, we have a number of sides which are equally as good and nothing has been greasy at all (onion bhaji and keema naan have been elsewhere). We have been in the area for about a year now, tried other Indian restaurants but this one is the best yet!

We love the service, the warmth, the vibe of the place. Highly highly recommended. We love the taste of curries ( vegetable madras, Sizzlers, Dal tadka), soft garlic naan and papadoms with chutneys. Yum!

People of Tunbridge who say this is the best in town obviously haven’t even had an average one . Came to pay the bill & the waiter ask how was everything ? I said it wasn’t very good and he took offence and stated to argue. I know a good one as I’m in the trade & my friend is one of the top Indian chef and have also worked with him. TW get yourselves a good authentic Indian restaurant please

We’ve just finished a delicious meal at The Spice. The food was great, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was top-notch with such efficient and attentive front of house team. One of our family isn’t as keen on Indian cuisine so they even kindly made them some less flavoured dishes. Thank you.

Paid £58 and barely enough for three people. Pitiful portion sizes for the price. Food was mediocre, not bad. Have paid far less for far better quality and far more food.

Really nice place and lovely staff. Really clean place and smell really good. Only problem the food … was quite blend tbh. We took a curry and a kurma. Kinda was real sweet but was ok but the curry was random and blend. Naan was really good. Rice perfectly cooked. I am just disappointed the curry was watery and the chicken was so overcooked and dry. I want to try again tbh another dish to make sure it was a random mistake and i will update my rating. Otherwise the rating of this place would be different I would like to think.

Excellent. A rare (very rare) 10/10. Everything spot on, including a waiter who offered and then delivered an explanation of all their speciality dishes, explaining exactly the ingredients, how the dish is cooked and its flavour type. After making our choices the lovely hot dinner plates arrived followed by two of the best Indian dishes I’ve ever eaten; fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared, no oiliness just lots of substance, layered spices and depth of flavour. Price was also very reasonable. This is a MUST try if you’re in the area.

Longstanding and much loved local Indian restaurant. Newly redecorated, with upmarket furniture, crockery and cutlery. The food is very good, the ambience is great, the manager is charming and the staff efficient. Looking forward to another visit.

We visited this restaurant, having read some recent reviews! We are so glad we did….firstly, the Staff were super friendly & welcoming. The food was absolutely first class. We were only in the area overnight, and just wanted a decent meal! This is exactly what we got, and at a very reasonable price. If we ever find ourselves back here…we will definitely be back.

Can’t rate this place enough. The staff, especially Zaman was amazing and very attentive We wasn’t sure what to order so gave him our preferences and he then recommended the dishes for us which we all loved. Also a mention to Naz and Binyamin. A lovely cosy restaurant where nothing is too much trouble. Definitely recommend and worth a visit. We are already planning our next dining experience with them.

We met in The Spice with friends 6 of us. I can say it was a fantastic meal we all enjoyed the meal we all had something different & really enjoyed it The staff were very helpful in telling us the different dishes to choose I can highly recommend this very nice Restaurant Give it try you won't be disappointed!

We headed here for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy, so we were pleased there was an available table for us with no waiting, The staff were all fantastic and knowledgeable about their menu and their customers tastes. Our waiter helped us make great choices which was no easy task as one of us is a meat eater and the other is vegetarian. We were both able to share everything except the rice dish where we both ordered our own. The food kept on coming and each mouthful was more delicious than the last. The welcome was warm and and friendly and we will return again when we visit the area. We walked back to our hotel a mile away with full tummies and happy hearts.
