The Shamrock Bar in Cheshire East

We called in for a few drinks with friends and was welcomed with open arms. Lovely atmosphere and a great service. Prices were reasonable and staff were fab. Toilets nice and clean. Bonus was some live Irish music which we loved.

Macclesfield is a musicians paradise and every Thursday there is a music night where everyone can take an instrument of choice and join in with other talented musos and have a jam session a lovely drink from the bar with our lovely landlady Sam and off you go just a very relaxed atmosphere

The Sham-Rock. An Irish bar that only plays Irish music on St Patrick’s Day. In other words, an English Bar.

Get u out as soon as possible. New owners and boucer rude and aggresive. Been attending for last two years. Not made to feel welcome. Wont visit again

We enjoyed our lunch here immensely. The home cooked Irish Stew was delicious. The lady behind the bar was very welcoming. The chef was very helpful and provided excellent service. Good value. A hidden gem. Highly recommended.
