This place is great. Cocktails are really reasonably priced (£6 each if you download the app) atmosphere is good and small plates are great for sharing. Will definitely be back.

The rum kitchen managed to squeeze us in after another local restaurant had to cancel our table due to Covid and aren’t we pleased they did! We had a great night, great food, great cocktails and awesome staff!! Big shout out to Atticus, Kate, Cas and Gio! See you again soon!

Had such a fab time the other day trying happy hour that I arrived later the same evening for food with more friends!! Our waitress was Ella and she was more than amazing! She recommended the best drinks and food and I would love to have them serve us again! I’m now here again and the amazing Gabriel served us who recommended the sharing cocktail, The Jamrock which was gorgeous. Its so nice to have such attentive staff who seem to love a job so much which really added to the fun atmosphere! Even the manager who popped over seemed so fun and friendly! Overall I would 100% bring my friends and family here again! And it’s also a great place for a date with the fun filled atmosphere and energetic music!!

My Jamaican partner went to eat there last week. Not good at all and said he wouldn’t go back. Cold, boring and tasteless food. No reggae played and the music was too loud for a restaurant. There are far better places to get Caribbean food in Brighton & Hove. A shame because we’re always looking for good places to eat authentic food and want to support them. Unfortunately this wasn’t a good experience. Disappointed.
