I was here with friends last Sunday, it was very busy and noisy with dogs barking and going for eachother. Can't fault the food, Sunday lunch was great and drinks were pricy. Was having a nice time with friends until I realised my mobile phone and bank card had gone missing from my bag so completely ruined the rest of the evening. I won't be going back there ever!! Just warning anybody that goes there to keep valuables on their person at all times as thieves are operating there.

A bright new modern pub in the ground floor of a modern apartment building. A refreshing change from the tired old traditional English pubs. Nice and spacious indoor and outdoor spaces. Fairly limited pub menu which was overpriced. I’ll pay £18 for a burger but it’s got to be decent. This one was OK but nothing to write home about. Come here for modern vibrant atmosphere but not the food.

Terrible. I wish I never wasted my money or my mother's day coming here. I saw this place on instagram and drove for 1 hour to try it out. Even when I spoke to the waitress about my concerns, she was just like oh ok. And then nothing

I came here for a friend for a bottle of wine and a catch up only to be charged 5£ for a service charge… they forgot for half an hour to serve our bottle of wine with food coming first and we had to ask for the wine… and then I asked for an ash tray and was directed to a used table to collect my self, very unusual considering the place was mostly empty and we had already paid service charge… they had said all ashtrays are out but only two in sight… strange. Well five pound service was definitely unnecessary. Following this I went to the loo which smelt like backed up drains. I reported it on my second visit to the bar staff who actually rolled their eyes at me… I work in facilities so genuinely wasn’t complaining but just making sure they were aware. It’s clear to me it’s an ongoing and neglected issue both with drainage within the female toilets and sanitary bins overflowing to the point you cannot dispose… for such a well established and clearly profitable restaurant I was surprised. Upon my report the staff were rude and unhelpful actually I was very polite but they acted like I was unreasonable in informing them there may be an issue. I don’t normally moan and don’t see this as a complaint but more honest feedback that would have been avoided by proper on site staff response. Dissapointed but hey ho! Just be aware… When paying £37 for a bottle of house wine and a portion of chips I expected a bit better, but very greasy and unkempt overall. Wish I had staff names but duty manager had small beard and dark short hair. Once he had left it seemed to be lord of the flies. Dramatic but accurate apologies for this as usually I leave positive feedback just very surprised.

fortunately I did find this pub by mistake the bar staff were friendly and welcoming the bar itself was very clean and welcoming although the drinks were a bit on the pricey side I would love to return again

We moved our NYE party to the pub and the music was amazing. Big teles to watch the fireworks and great party atmosphere.

Made reservations in October for Christmas dinner. Got written confirmation but upon arrival... No one was there. No email to alert us that they would not be open as planned. Very disappointing, not to mention hard to find somewhere open... Either for a meal or groceries.

I made a reservation for my party of four to have Christmas Day dinner at 1:00 PM on 25/12/2023. I got written confirmation of the reservation. I arrived when we were expected and they were all shut down. Not sure where the breakdown in communication was, but you guys left us stranded with no meal to celebrate the day, and no place open to pull together a meal. We had a can of chickpeas in the cupboard (we are visiting from the states). Not good.

Came here for our work Xmas meal and I was really impressed with the food. The food is clearly all freshly and home made and was really tasty. I would definitely go back!

Wanted to say a big thank you- we were a big team of nurses, there were around 20 of us, there for Christmas dinner last night. We rarely manage to get time together after work and the team made it a very special night. You were so accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious! I cannot stress enough how grateful we were to be hosted so well so THANK YOU

Food took an hour to arrive. Extra trimmings, which were paid for, didn’t arrive at all. I was asked to move from my table to facilitate a larger party when there were empty tables around me. When questioning why, I was told I’ll ‘just have to move.’ No service at all between ordering food and receiving food - I had to call attention of staff twice. Seriously unimpressed.

The service was really unacceptable which is a shame as the food was good. We had to wait a long time for our order to be taken and then tighter friends arrived and they had the same - a long wait. When one drink got served to us we asked to order more and were told “sure, I will be right back” and then no one came back. We had to leave our table and remind the staff we were waiting to be served.

Disappointed, I went twice. First experience wasn’t great, we ordered drinks that were left on the counter for 20 mins nobody seemed bothered to bring it, we had to ask, and they didn’t seem happy we did… That was 6 months ago. Today, i booked a roast outside, to arrive and being told the booking system doesn’t work on the day, so no places were available outside. We didn’t stay as it was a sunny day and had no intention to stay in, no apologies whatsoever. Won’t be back, despite I am a local…

I have been to the pub twice. The first time we visited all do the outside tables had not been cleared. After a long time of sitting there they finally cleared a little bit. Then I had to ask for them to clear the table and again they did a little bit but not all of it. We ended up leaving before they had finished clearing the table. We were there for about 45 minutes. The bar service is exceptionally slow both times. The app service to the table was also very slow. There are obviously just not enough people behind the bar to make cocktails as well as pulling pints. I ordered food and although I had told the waiter I had an allergy to chillis there were chillis in the food. We did the pub quiz which was excellent.

Went for a quick drink but atmosphere was actually pretty decent so had a bite to eat as well, was recommended the house burger by the manager nick, tasted really nice!

Nice food but if you’re French and want a burger not virtually burnt, forget it. We asked for not well done-a bit of pink is ideal, but it came very well done complete with burnt bits. Otherwise the meals were fine. Beer very new age, nothing more traditional really. Although the lager I ended with was rather tasty. But the biggest negative was the sheer volume of the place. No soft furnishings nor surfaces so therefore it was extremely noisy even with few people in there. The food being cooked added to the noise level greatly.

Lovely find, we will be back. Really enjoyed the pub, food and drink was good quality and reasonably priced, Lovely atmosphere and brilliant staff. It was relaxed and comfortable. Enjoyed the fish and chips and Burger. Returned for the Sunday Lunch a few days later as we dicided it was worth a return visit. Lovely staff especially Matt who made us very welcome.

Me and my family had such a great time at this pub and the food and service was absolutely top-notch. My wife got the fish and chips whilst I got the buttermilk burger. They even have fantastic kids menu which was the perfect portion size...

Wowzer what a delightful surprise find. Had a scrumptious vegetarian wellington roast recommend adding the apple sauce, friend had the pork roast. He said his was the best roast he’d had in 2 years. Paired with some tasty cider. Fab atmosphere. Lovely highly recommend

Great new pub, went here for the first time yesterday and enjoyed every minute of it ! Was served by Ruby , great personality and looked after us well! We had the Pork Chop and Flat Iron Steak really tasty ! Highly recommend !
