I wanted a peaceful eating alone experience and that’s just what I got. Angela was just lovely and served me with the gentleness I needed today

Really enjoyed the lunch and Angela and Ana provided excellent service. We will be back.

Recently visited and it's safe to say our experience here was very pleasant. Food was good, service was Great, excellent, I really loved Rosario s touch it was really impressive!

We held a drinks party with canapes for 100 people. We had a private area that opened on to the patio area overlooking the Thames. It really was a great experience. Food really good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location. However a tad overpriced for what you get. The skewer starters were tasty but tiny, barely any meat on them. The crab starter was better but nothing mind blowing.

I came for an anniversary based on a recommendation. The food was fantastic and the drinks were too,Very strong. Service was spectacular However everyone was lovely but the server Rosario was outstanding . We both had the chicken snitzel and they were very good . Prices very affordable and quality was worthy It Was a great spot for a special occasion.

We had a fantastic lunch at Browns It was a lovely fine dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere. There was some great food; the beef ravioli and the shepherds pie were so good, the pasta was excellent. Then, pudding time We went for the brownie , which was yummy. Did I mention the service ? 10/10 to Rosario he was excellent

Today ,Afternoon tea, awesome.

No volvería a ir y desaconsejaría ir aquí a tomar un té por la tarde. Habíamos reservado un té de la tarde a las 3 pm y llegamos antes de las 3 pm. A las 3. 30 pm comprobamos cuánto tiempo más ya que habíamos bebido todo el té (! ) y nos dijeron que venía pero en lugar de una disculpa nos dijeron que era porque uno de nuestra fiesta necesitaba un té sin gluten así que necesitábamos entender en una cocina ocupada que tomó tiempo. La comida llegó a las 3. 55 pm - aproximadamente una hora después de que llegamos y nos sentamos - en ese momento el té de reemplazo que habíamos solicitado a las 3. 30 pm hacía frío. Ninguno de los alimentos que nos dieron coincidía con el menú - en particular el té de la tarde sin gluten - y no era comida de gran calidad con solo dos sándwiches en bandejas para los tés estándar cuando teníamos mucho hambre! Fue profundamente decepcionante ya que habíamos reservado como celebración y tan mal servicio lo estropeó. Fue particularmente pobre que nos dijeran que era debido a una alergia dentro de la fiesta, lo que implica que estaba fuera de lugar y estábamos causando problemas para una cocina ocupada, dado que reservamos y elegimos el lugar debido a un menú de té sin gluten anunciado. Irónicamente haber sido dicho que el retraso fue en ofrecer un té sin gluten - el recibo indicaba que no había alergia en la fiesta - a pesar de que repetidamente le dijimos al personal que uno de nosotros tenía una alergia - por lo que también sugeriría que puede no ser el lugar para ir si quieres un té sin gluten como se deja incierto acerca de la comunicación con la cocina sobre un tema tan importante - importante porque ver esto anunciado fue la misma razón por la que reservamos, así que estoy dispuesto a advertir a otros.

Lovely atmosphere and great service. Angela is very hospitable and careful around everything in our dietary requirements which was so appreciated.

Very enjoyable meal! Sat on the terrace overlooking the river. Food was delicious, service friendly and professional. Soft tonic drinks very tasty as well.

Dropped into Browns at Butlers Wharf last night for dinner. We were seated immediately at a table overlooking the Thames. Waiter was very pleasant and friendly. Ordered a seafood sharing platter to start - delicious; drinks were good and there was a huge variety to choose from. Ordered mains and when mine came (crab) it was lying on a bed of avocado (NOT stated on the menu). Enquired with the waiter and the manager and they were very quick to 1. Apologise 2. Offer to re-make the dish. I declined a re make (and sent original back) but the manager very quickly was not taking no for an answer and brought me out a new order, correct ingredients (no avo!) at no charge. Have to commend him on his great service and for doing everything possible to make everything right! All in all it was a good experience; great food, great location and most of all - 5 star staff. Thank you!

We had a fantastic lunch here! The atmosphere was perfect, the location was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. A special thanks to our waitress, Bea, who kindly helped coordinate the timing of our meals so our child could eat first. Thanks to her, we had a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Had a lovely evening at Browns Butlers Wharf. The riverside location is stunning, especially around sunset, and the atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming. The food was great, but the highlight of the evening was the service. Our waiter, Sasha, was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely looked after without being overbearing. It’s rare to come across service that feels both professional and personal, and Sasha really struck that balance.

We have had very good lunches here in the past. We decided to try the bottomless brunch, but we certainly do not recommend this. We had to order our food before the deal could be activated, hence little opportunity for pre lunch drinks. Then the waiter insisted we all finished our drinks before topping any up. In the allocated 90 minutes we had 4 small glasses of prosecco each and most of the food options were light breakfasts. When we asked for another glass, we were told we were 10 minutes out of time. Whilst I accept there is a time limit, this lack of flexibility for customers who have not taken advantage, may cost them future custom.

Always a pleasure to pop in for a coffee and lunch. Staff are always welcoming and friendly, especially to Rubble the dog! Angela always has a smile on her face and looks after us well.

Lovely location, booked as they advertise a pianist 1-4 but couldn’t even hear the music due to piano being on other side of restaurant. Also service super slow even without it being busy. We ordered roast trio, We were asked how we wanted to the roast beef cooked and asked for Rare to medium but it arrived well overdone and dry, same for the chicken. Why ask customers about cooking preferences if you then cook it differently?? The pork belly was very nice and well cooked but overall it was very disappointing. Will stick with our local pub who never disappoint, needless to say we won’t be returning.

Brown’s Shad Thames has the most amazing views across the Thames and Tower Bridge, a very special spot, delicious food and Ana was completely amazing with the little ones. It’s been a real treat and highly recommended for anyone looking for a special London experience.

Had a lovely time here for Easter. We were served by Sasha who provided very attentive service. We ordered the lobster linguine and the shepherd’s pie, both of which were tasty. Will likely be coming back in the future.

Excellent service, the girls at our table were very friendly and polite. I did not like the food. the chicken was very dry and the sirloin was chewy and overcooked, like a shoe sole. Shame because we booked here for They very good reviews. I honestly Ate because I was starving.

The food was absolutely fantastic, the service friendly and welcoming and the overall experience was amazing. Our server, Alex, really boosted the atmosphere with a positive, cheerful aura that has remained with us ever since we dined. 10/10 highly recommend.

We had a lovely meal at Browns Butler's Wharf. We were very well looked after by Alex, who provided exceptional service. As someone with an allergy, I had lots of gluten free options available to me and felt safe eating due to the coeliac UK accreditation. My food came out with a flag so I knew it had been handled with care. I highly recommend the duck with beetroot, it was absolutely delicious and a real stand out meal!

Came in with a family after a small walk along the river. The food was excellent alongside the service. Sasha was an amazing waiter. In a way, made us feel like she could be part of our family!

But what truly made our night unforgettable was the service, especially our waitress, Sasha. She was an absolute gem – friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Sasha struck the perfect balance between being professional and genuinely personable. She gave amazing recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. It’s rare to find service that enhances your entire dining experience, but Sasha did just that. She made us feel like VIPs the entire evening. We’ll definitely be back – and we’ll be asking for Sasha by name!

Evening on the Thames, calm and relaxing atmosphere, varied dishes and cooked goods except duck breasts a little overcooked and Tiramisu lacking coffee for my taste! Server Alex very friendly and available. There were 7 of us and we all enjoyed this evening 😎

Arrived to Overwhelming off fishy smell . Settled , ordered. Food was over cooked on 3 plates . Overall Food not that hot. 1 dish (peas risotto) was cold . Plate was boiling but risotto cold. Must have missed the microwave . 2 steaks ordered were OK. Service was really good but place felt grubby, food poor Raised all issues with staff. Issues Dealt with well but shouldn'have been an issue .. wouldn't return. Overpriced for what you get . Poor quality but as I said, service good 🤷‍♀️

Our waitress Bea was absolutely exceptional with her service and warm smile. Our food was cooked to perfection. In fact the whole experience here today left me feeling taken care of and respected. Perfect way to celebrate my birthday today.

Went out to lunch on a Saturday with our baby. This place caters very well to young families, with ample space for pushchairs and a big changing room. Food was great and the service by Susan was top notch. Very much recommended.

Nice location and decor, food quite nice but really nothing special. Service was poor, inattentive for the price point. £40 per bottle of bog standard Prosecco and I had to keep topping us up. Didn’t offer to take our coats or anything when we sat down. Very expensive for a mediocre experience. Would not return, far too many other places to choose from! Such a different experience to the original Browns in Mayfair, worlds apart.

I was taken by a friend who has lived in England for 35 years to enjoy authentic British cuisine. The traditional Fish & Chips in particular were freshly made, crispy and delicious. The Pulled Lamb Shepherd’s Pie also has soft and delicious meat inside. Salt and Pepper Squid's squid rings are also delicious. Thank you to Dr. Urushibara for showing me around and the staff at the store.

A really lovely treat thanks to a gift voucher for our birthdays! Great venue with river view. Pleasant and Relaxing Atmosphere. Good to be here on a Monday lunchtime which may be one of the quieter times if the week. On the pleasant and quieter Southside of the Thames, a very short walk from Tower Bridge. Delicious food. The Sourdough for a starter was huge! Ana was a great and kind waitress. Excellent attentive service. Leaving here feeling very refreshed and ready to get back to work! 10/10
