We both had the session steak it was horrible so much by the time ot had been cut away you were left with hardly any steak!onion rings were home made and to big and stodgy inside over all not great considering it cost 50 quid oh and flat coke

Great pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord. Very efficient barman, cook and serving staff. Food prompt and fine standard pub fare. A stone's throw from Sheringham Station too. Interesting decor too.

A bit quirky (there's a full size skeleton sitting at the bar for some reason, but the staff were amiable and the garden was nice. It has a play frame slide for the kids so great for a quick pint on a sunny day

Walked in. Lots of people waiting. Only 2 on bar serving. Walked out again!

We enjoyed excellent food and drink here during our holiday. The staff were all friendly and I enjoyed the recommendation of landlords bitter, very nice. Thank you guys, hopefully see you all again next year, be safe.

A friendly pub with good service. It serves traditional pub grub served hot and fresh. Great beer garden with a separate child friendly area.

I had hunters chicken with chips and peas. The portion sizes were very generous and the food was piping hot. The staff were attentive and smiley. The drink I chose cost £1.40 more at East Runton later the same day. It was identical. The pub has loads of character and things to look at, some of which were quite nostalgic. It’s the first time I’ve been to Sheringham but if I ever return I wouldn’t hesitate to visit The Robin Hood again.

Typical pub grub. Hot and cheap enough. Clean toilets, which is always a good sign. It was full of interesting memorabilia.

Popped in to listen to a singer and was very impressed. Graham McGrotty was brilliant and interacted with the audience in a fantastic way.

We had a steak,chips,peas and onion rings.It was fabulous beautiful piece of steak.The pub was clean,staff were friendly and polite.Toilets were clean and well kept.Can not fault this pub,thank you to all the staff.

Went in for dinner polite staff nice feel to place, beer reasonable price food excellent best steak I've had in years.

Ate here during a quiet lunchtime, so Atmosphere difficult to judge otherwise good.

We had Lasagne & Chips, Chicken Curry and Rice, both meals piping hot and good size portions. Bottle of house Sauvignon Blanc good and not expensive. We will definitely eat here again during our holiday this week.

Should be more clear on what's in food on menu. Had the stake&ale pie. (Wouldn't ordered if I had known.) The menu doesn't mention mushrooms but when I taken the pastry lid off their was about 5 prices of meat and the rest mushroom and carrots. (Love the carrots) When told staff they Said they could talk to the kitchen but never came back. Didn't seem interested. Someone ells did have the Fish and chips and they said theirs was very nice.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch and the lovely staff were great. The pub even gives you the option of having a smaller portion, which we called normal size, as they are very generous with portion.

I really like this pub. It is quirky with lots of historic decoration from up to and over a hundred years ago. I have spent a one week holiday in Sheringham for five years and always use this pub. The staff are friendly, efficient and enthusiastic, the prices of booze are sensible and it is a very comfortable place to have a sit down and a drink.

Vibrant pub, good atmosphere. Well worth a pint and an hour of your time.

Second visit (and won't be the last) whilst on a break in Norfolk. Good beer selection and well kept. Had Sunday Lunch which was excellent. Well cooked and generous portions. Good quality and value. TARDIS door and other memorabilia around the walls makes an interesting place to drop into.

Called on the off chance while staying in Sheringham. Was not disappointed. Had the best Chicken soup I have ever had. I got the lasagna and hubby got the chilli. Both good portions and very tasty. Had a potion of the cheesy garlic bread. Home made and again tasty. Could not fault the service. Al staff friendly and informative. You won’t be disappointed

Very low marks given simply because we paid £25 for a cab to get a decent pint of ale in a proper pub only to find yet again they've "run" out of all ales!! It's got to be at least the fifth time this year!

Family meal in lovely Sheringham. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. A real pub with lots of local residents enjoying themselves. Will definitely be calling in next time we visit. The steak & ale pie is highly recommended.

Decided to have a meal at The Robin Hood to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we booked a table a few days before. The meal was perfect, they even added something that wasn't included with the meal that I asked for, the staff were attentive and lovely and meal itself fairly priced and delicious. The Robin Hood has a lovely atmosphere, filled with many bits of memorabilia which keeps your eyes occupied and creates talking points. Overall we've had a wonderful evening.

Called into this pub after a meal at Stubbys Pizza. Accosted by a hostile and rather drunken lady. She clearly was well known to the staff who should have refused to serve her. She could not get her credit card accepted and promptly sat on the floor telling me she was " going to have to pee " which her friends found most amusing. I left immediately feeling rather threatened.

First time here (tourist!) Great pub (no dart boards,pool tables etc) Lots of memorabilia,SO much character. If we lived here it would DEF be our local. All staff SO lovely, helpful, & smiley😃 . We had battered cod,chips etc, SO nice. Highly recommended

Poped in for Sunday Lunch had their Beef Roast Dinner. This has to be the best Roast dinner we have had beats carvery by a mile a generous potion of tender beef. Lovely Roast potatoes and boiled and 4 different retailers all a good portion. Highly recommend this pub for great food but go early as when we arrived the Lamb had been sold through.

Stayed in Sheringham for a few days recently and visited the Robin Hood. No welcome by staff and drinks served without any conversation! Locals in the bar stopped their conversation and we really felt as if we were infiltrating. No menus available apart from a couple on the wall near the bar so we drank and left.

A great eating and drinking experience.

Love visiting this pub! We live in Norwich so it's about an hour for us to drive there but we almost always visit when in Sheringham. Lovely place for food or just a drink

Brilliant pub,with good real ale. Also lots of interesting old chocolate and cigarette machines on walls.

Eight of us, four adults and four children (aged 4,6,6,8) went last Sunday after doing the Santa express. So not pre booked. A senior female member of staff clocked us immediately as we walked in. Confirmed the number of our group, handed us menus and instructed us to a table. Very clear menu which ment the children could pick, then go outside and play. We ordered at the bar which I think is what others did too. The food came quite quickly and the pub was filling up now. Our friends had burger and pie, their children shared an adult scampi. We had Sunday roast and curry. Our children had childrens chicken nuggets and a veg lasagne. Everyone had clean plates at the end which I think says it all.

Was a nice pub shame it was a shame it was a quiz night could not enjoy our conversation

Basically a group of 6 of us stopped here whilst visiting Sheringham for the afternoon. We had hot and cold drinks, in a warm and welcoming environment, interesting well due to the various paraphernalia adorning the walls. Recommended 👍

Lovely pub in Sheringham. We had Christmas Dinner here before doing the Train to holt. Our table was nicely decorated with Christmas crackers and napkins etc. Food was pre-ordered so service was very efficient by Lovely staff. Christmas Dinner was great, plenty of meat with all the trimmings except sprout for some reason. Good selection of drinks including the excellent Ghost Ship 0.5, can't go wrong. Less than £120 for 2/3 courses and a couple of drinks. Good value in my book.

Rang up to ask if they were doing roasts again. Were told yes. So get there to find they're only doing one sort of meat. So we left and went elsewhere. And will never bother going back.

went there for lunch as used to be really good ordered hunters chicken chips peas and steak &ale pie chips peas the pie was tasteless and just a veg pie in gravy the chicken was tuff and chewy the bacon very fatty and the chips like carboard and peas really hard worse meal we have ever had the staff were grumpy and the men behind the bar were swearing alot in front of customers couldnt wait to leave never again please be aware this pub is not like it used to be

Probably the worst food I’ve had from a pub ever, asked if I could open a tab I was told “sorry don’t do tabs too many people leave without paying “ not surprised the food was that poor, give it a wide berth

Ordered the steak and ale pie and chips but requested no peas. Arrived swamped in peas with hardly any chips. The "pie" was a bowl of stew which was predominantly carrots with a pastry lid. PLEASE PUBS EVERYWHERE, this is not a pie!

Some friends of ours and ourselves all went to wells on sea for the day , we decided to have our dinner out. We could not find anywhere decent on the way back to Sherringham, as everyone was doing pretty food. We arrived at Sherringham, went into The Robin Hood, and now you're talking about what fab staff, good wholesome food, a lovely atmosphere in the pub, what a gem will definitely return. We told the staff what a lovely meal we had worth going to.

Loved the Hunters chicken but avoided the pies as for the price I expect a pie to be pastry top, sides and base, not a pastry lid on top or a pot bowl, nice friendly staff.

Old traditional pub with happy efficient staff good choice of gins on offer and ipa was very refreshing. Hubby's preference.

Very mediocre! Pricey for the quality. The veg was almost tasteless and the beef & ale pie was light on meat but heavy on the veg.

Had steak and chips followed by Belgium waffle with toffee sauce and ice cream. Absolutely delicious, steak was beautiful, cooked perfectly and so soft, lovely. Staff was friendly and the place was full of very interesting artifacts, loved it.

Lovely lunch stop during the 1940s weekend

Evening meal. This pub serves your typical pub grub. Staff were a bit stand offish. Menu had a good variety. Had the gammon and chips. Food was ok. Huge portions. Other tables were having fish and chips. Again huge portion’s. Reasonably priced Not a lot else to say.

Can't comment on food, looks lovely but never dined here, Yet. However this is my go too at Sheringham. Lovely public house with plenty 9f antiques from old chewing gum machines, telephones, toy cars, typewriters and old clocks. Nice beer garden too, brilliant selection behind bar too. Oh n a Tardis, of sorts.

Pie no Meet The pub was busy clean and tidy. Good service at the bar. I asked for a table for myself and I had my dog with me plenty of room. Nice decor and I wasn’t made to feel uncomfortable because I had my dog , ordered a pint of Timmy Taylor‘s landlord at the bar Which was excellent. I was given a food menu and I ordered chicken and leek pie with potatoes and veg. The potatoes were very scarce only three on the plate. All cooked nicely and so was the veg. However the pie mix had no chicken in it very disappointing although the flavour of the mixture Which quite nice so sadly I’m only giving this place a three star review

I needed somewhere to eat before the long journey home. This placd was convenient. Building looks good from the outside but not as appealing inside. Limited food menu in my opinion. Food was fine for the price. Beer was nice. It was pretty much what I expected. I would consider dropping in again for a pint.

The food was absolutely terrible. Myself and my family came here for a evening meal and would not recommend this place. The food is practically inedible and the staff are not friendly. They seem to be advertising for a chef so maybe when they find one things will improve but until then steer clear!

The greeting on entering was less than enthusiastic. The menu was also presented with few pleasantries. There was quite a wait for the food to arrive. My sausages were akin to supermarket 'savers' and the mash was almost solid. The gravy was palatable. My wife's gammon was inedible - very fatty and tough. At no time during the meal were we asked if everything was to our satisfaction. When the young girl came to collect the plates my wife said how horrible (she actually used the word) the gammon was. There was no comment and the plates were cleared quickly. Perhaps we should have said something to the management but we were simply glad to leave. Not a very happy experience.

Height of summer, busy, busy , busy at lunchtime yet everyone served at the bar quickly and courteously. Well behaved dogs permitted and many arrived in the hour or so that I was there. I did not order food for myself and cannot attest to the quality but there were a lot of orders taken. Eating areas were quiet and apart from the bar area. Good garden also
