This pub is a scary place. I came here at 11 o'clock and waited at the door for 11 hours and they did not let me in.

Great pub, good prices great music and a good atmosphere

Stopped in for a bite to eat but was told they no longer serve food "stopped doing food about three months ago" so we didn't stay. Only five other people in the whole place.

This used to be a nice pub, but has now lost atmosphere. The DJ is quite miserable, and to be told that he is not allowed to go beyond 90's music after requesting for some 80's is ridiculous. My full glass of wine was cleared away whilst I was up dancing at 12 40am, 20 minutes before closing. I was not happy when I returned to our table to find it gone!

This pub has fallen right down the toilet. It used to have amazing food. Arrived last weekend, where I was told that it was under new management and no longer offers food menus. They don't sell non alcoholic cider. As a responsible driver, my partner fancied one as she couldn't drink an alcoholic cider. She opted to go without. The lager range is poor too. Only stopped off briefly, which was a shame, as we wanted to make an afternoon of it. For a weekend, the atmosphere was absolutely dead. This used to be a great family afternoon out before the new ownership took over. Used to be a buzzing atmosphere. I have seen more life in a library than this place now. Not impressed. We certainly have no reason to go back to this place now. With such restrictive menus and so much empty space, I give it a few months before it either closes down or changes ownership again, which wouldn't be a bad thing in all honesty.

Place gone down hill ? Now they don't serve breakfast food ? Was better when it was a weatherrspoon,now its a complete joke of a place don't go there. The drunk bandits are back at the front for booze sessions lol

Looks really good after the refurbishment. If I ever come to w.o.t. I always come here with a pal of mine. Good for sports etc.

Smells of piss, tables are sticky, food is microwaved, toilets are disgusting. But the drinks are so cheap that I'll keep coming back. Like a moth to a flame, drawn in by their tempting drinks menus. Only to be scolded once again but the stuff I companied about the last time I was there. I cant rate it any lower than 5 stars because I keep coming back. Probably says more about me than it does the pub but oh well.

Beer ok but no hot drinks or food. Very disappointing.

Amazing night out in walton! I believe it was Sam serving my wife and I, such a boisterous ball of joy. Ran out of stock of one cocktail so he bartendered his way around the bar and improvised LIKE A BOSS. Such a pleasure, will be returning! Thank you Regent! Thank you Samuel!

Why do I say surprisingly brilliant,came to visit our grandson at Christmas and could only find the Regent and so glad we did,our Christmas Dinner was prepared,cooked and presented to absolute perfection, something must be said about the quality of the chef here,and we we will be visiting our grandchildren more often !

Popped in for a pint before heading home...looks like a nice clean place and a good pint. I will be in again.

4. This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, and for their prices it’s worth it.

Usually go in for a Strongbow but had a five dish share platter on the Saturday deal as well as a drink. Really enjoyed it. Didn't have to wait too long for it either. Thank you to the staff at the regent.

Nice pub, with good not overbearing atmosphere. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Good selection of beers on tap. Food service was speedy, but lacked a variety of vegetarian offerings (had to settle for the all day veggie breakfast). However would visit again.

I've been coming here a lot more since the new manager took over. I thoroughly enjoy the theme nights, karaoke on Sundays being my favourite. I love their food, have recently tried the Breakfast wrap from the Breakfast menu for the first time and it was delicious! The staff are lovely and the prices are great.

Normally good service but today the one remaining barmaid chose to clear the entire pubs worth of glasses than to serve me at the bar. She passed me three times and made no attempt to let me know what she was doing. Just ignored me and left me waiting. Shame but some people just aren't good at their jobs.
