First time visiting this place, pretty good decor, think its new ownership, heard bad things about previous owner, hope they can turn the place around, staff were nice, just hope it doesn't attract the wrong clientèle, so watch this space....

Good meal, plenty of food, excellent service- Good value for money. We will be going back to have the ribs next time.

The owner is amazing and makes my family feel welcome. Amazing pub would recommend for a good night. They do a New Year’s party this year family friendly!

Just had Xmas dinner at the Rainham Arms (25/12/2023) and I was pleasantly very surprised. The food was superb, fresh and nicely laid out. It was a help yourself service at the bar to as much as you want (food). The dining area was sectioned off from the rest of the pub and it worked very well. Excellent selection of meats for all to see on display..... Turkey, Pork and Beef and all of it was lovely to eat and very soft. The table service was excellent, never felt pressurised to eat quickly and move on. Was a lovely place to relax and enjoy good food with good music in the background. Would 100% reccommend it for anyone thinking about next year. Saves loads of hastzle and in my view a bargain for just over £50.

Possibly the worst meal I have ever experienced. Sad looking roast with frozen roast potatoes, over cooked beef and as for the dessert the custard was like glue. Shameful excuse for a roast. First and last time I eat here. And to refuse a refund it just the icing on the cake. You have some cracking 1 star reviews and clearly are not taking the feedback vell. Not are you acting on it

Avoid. Food is nothing like the pictures as they steal photos of food from other places off the internet. Owners are miserable and rude too!

We are over from Australia on holidays and we’re recommended to go to the Rainham Arms. The food was amazing and the owners were very warm and welcoming. Best ribs I have ever eaten. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

Food was unbelievable and Portion size was amazing. The full rack of ribs was enormous so if you fancy a challenge then go for that. Highly recommended will be back there soon. Keep up the good work Rainham Arms 👍

I have been in a few times over the last couple of months for Sunday lunch with friends and family and also the Smoked Ribs and the odd Burger. All of which are excellent, it is good to have a local pub serving good quality food.

We had hot dogs and chips delivered and was lovely! Really big portions and quick delivery, the hot dogs was lovely!! A portion of chicken wings was also thrown in for free which was lovely Thankyou! Will be ordering again soon

Our Monthly dining group came to the Rainham Arms and l feel sure we will come again - three had ribs and could not finish them!! Tasty, well cooked and presented I cannot add a photo :(

Asked the landlord to cater a wake ,the price was very competitive and he really listened. When we arrived I was absolutely delighted with the quality of the food. The cakes were gorgeous and he had made a special chocolate cake as a centrepiece for us to cut. There was a range of finger food as well as salads and there were proper plates and cutlery, no dreadful bendy paper plates. The staff were friendly and very efficient as some of the attendees kept the bar busy. The toilets were spotless and the standard of food hygiene was exemplary. I really hope this couple do well here they deserve to. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thankyou for making a sad event into a celebration of my brother’s life.

We sat outside.. Has changed a lot from being the old concorde.. We haven't been in during an event.. But there was ample seating and parking..

We came to Chatham dockyard for the 40s weekend and stayed at the rainham arms overnight in campervan the owners were lovely and very accommodating and very helpful .big thank you to the chef who work hard in very hot weather in kitchen we had a great meal very well priced good value for money had a good night sleep very quiet after pub hours would recommend.

Me and my partner came here tonight and it was better than expected. We had never heard of it and had only seen a picture on Facebook. Im so glad we went. I had the burger and chips and my boyfriend had the smoke house bbq mixed grill. It was massive! Every bit of it was spot on. The service was brilliant, very friendly and inviting. Lovely people, down to earth and got on well. The place was immaculate with really homely toilets. I'm glad we took a chance as my partner is very picky. We will definitely be going back again,especially for one of their events. Thank you.

Delighted to revisit after it's transformation from the Concorde pub. Now a superb family friendly smokehouse and bar. Couldn't fault the Philly steak baguette, steak perfectly tender and flavoursome. Generous US style portions too and a full menu that makes choosing difficult! Owners very friendly and attentive, passionate about what they do. Looking forward to our next visit.

Aaron the chef cooked our meal , could have ate more well worth the money. Fantastic bar maid Marion made us feel very welcome , will be bringing the family down next weekend would recommend to all families with children.

Hubby and I stopped in for dinner, and found a fabulously renovated modern pub with excellent food. We got a friendly welcome. Good size portions and reasonably priced. Definitely try the ribs - the landlord is a American smoking style enthusiast! Good clean facilities too, would definitely eat there again!

When you ask your kid if he wants lunch at McDonald’s or at the Rainham Arms as a treat and straight away said “The Rainham Arms” you know they are definitely doing great food! ( my boys love a McDonald’s like most kids) and I was relieved with his choice! We are regulars now and love their burgers in particular :) Great entertainment on a regular too and family friendly.

Had a great night in the pub last night. The pub itself is lovely and nicely decorated...included the toilet! The price of the drinks were amazing and the food looks amazing. The team are lovely and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. Look forward to going back

Me & my partner came here recently & we both really enjoyed the friendly chatty service, the place had also been decorated since I had last been in there when it was called the Concorde.. its now modern, clean & lovely. We stayed here for dinner & both of us thoroughly enjoyed the food & there was plenty to feed us both.. we will definitely be returning again, we are looking forward to it! Lovely place, great bike meet up

I visited this pub for a bike night, the staff was very friendly and prompt. I didn't have any of the food unfortunately but it did look and smell amazing and will definitely be ordering some the next time I'm there.

Went yesterday evening for a meal and had the ribs and chicken wings, they were lovely, plenty of flavour and meat fell off the bone. Landlord and Lady very welcoming and the place is spotlessly clean will definitely be back.

What a friendly family pub .popped in for a cheeky pint saw the steaks coming out so we decided to stay for one I had the steak and smoked ribs absolutely amazing flavor ,friend had the cheeky Mexican burger she said was best burger she has had in ages full of flavour and can tell we're home made.landlady is very friendly pub very clean even the toilets .we'll stocked bar so we stayed for a few games of darts .what a hidden jem this place is

Absolutely smashing! Rang up last minute for a table for Sunday lunch and we’re grateful Mariam had one for us. A well stocked bar was available although there were no soft drinks on tap, most were in glass bottles. The food was something else! Aaron is a keen meat smoker and very good at it! The beef brisket roast was delicious, came with all the trimmings. Our mates who had chicken wings and skewers were very quiet so they went down well and the full rack of ribs were perfect! A real gem 💎 of a pub with a handy location for lots of nice walks.

Went today and tried the lunch menu. The brisket baguette was so tasty & the burger was lovely too. Saw the ribs being prepped for the smoker & will definitely be returning to try some of those ,they look amazing. Friendly staff too

My girlfriend and I just had the best meal I’ve had in god knows how long, especially in Kent. She loved her food more than me and I’m the foodie !! Couldn’t be happier. Friendly staff. I’m coming back tomorrow 😄🤌🏼

Just got home from the most delicious meal at The Rainham Arms After seeing a post the other day about how good the food was we decided to give it a go for my father in laws birthday and it did not disappoint! My husband had the full rack of 6hr smoked ribs which were amazing! I had the smoked sirloin steak which has got to be the best steak I’ve had in a long time! Mother in law had the hunters chicken which she said was the best she’s had and father in law had chicken and ribs which he said were delicious too! Also we had 2 kids meals which they both thoroughly enjoyed too. The owners and staff were also very friendly and welcoming and nothing was any trouble at all. We’ve only lived in Rainham for a year so don’t have much experience with the pubs and restaurants around here but we can safely say we will 100% be returning and recommending it to everyone!!

We came here on Saturday for the kids Halloween disco, it was brilliant the kids had so much fun. Ticket price included a meal & drink for the kids and a sweet cone each which I thought was great value for money!

Four beautiful roast dinners cannot fault it. The service was good and very friendly staff. We'll definitely come again.

Went to the childrens halloween party at the Rainham arms, It was amazing. Kids had a whale of a time and thoroughly enjoyed their food. Staff worked really hard so Thankyou to them. Went to the children halloween party, we get told we have to sit in the corner so we basically get hidden away from everyone, after kids got their food, whole massive table ordered their food, im alone with my daughter so I go to order myself, rudely get told I'm not allowed even though they serve everyone else and even walked away when I tried to order a coke.. its like they have something against single mothers..I ended up have to take my daughter home early because we just felt so unwelcomed

Just left here feeling quite sick. Multiple hairs in a sandwich, was told it had been remade, it clearly wasn't or they add hairs to all of their sandwiches. Then excuses like "its an onion hair" or "maybe some of the halloween decorations fell in". Ridiculous. Specials board say wings are £4, tried to charge £10 when ordering. Flat beer. Passive aggressive staff. £35 for the worst lunch. Literally a disgusting place, don't waste your time or money. Edit for response. So the flat drinks were free? Two rounds of flat drinks at £10 each took our bill to £35. So we had spent £35 and left feeling sick. You clearly didn't remake the sandwich as it took you less than 3 minutes to bring it out the second time. And by the third time of you poking it about the chiefs covid cough and food round his mouth we completely lost our appetites and left. Taking the top off a sandwich isn't the same tearing it to pieces. And frankly were glad we did to expose what can only be described as a barbershop floor looking back at us! And so whats the difference between the £4 wings and the £10 wings or were your staff just pulling prices out the air? I don't think £13.90 for two people is a bad price at all for a bit of food (not a meal) is edible, but cheap prices don't give you the right to cut corners on hygiene. If there is hair in the food we're server, that makes it inedible for us, and puts other people off their meals too. Maybe not for you, but we do have some standards. If we had been met with a half decent apology rather than BS excuses and attitude I wouldn't even have bothered with a review, but your tone at the time and in your reply to the original review (and other bad reviews) just show what a terrible place this is to spend money.

Had our wedding reception here and would like to give a massive thanks to the staff. We were let down by another local venue and The Rainham Arms stepped in at short notice. They arranged the food and entertainment and I have to say there was more than enough food for our guests and a wide variety of it. The DJ was exceptional and all who attended had a great night.The locals were very accomodating given that the pub has to keep normal trade going.

Additional note.... I am not a troll, I am a neighbour who is sick of the music! We have messaged you on Facebook and called you when the music is a high volume, each time there is no acceptance just attitude. This isn't the first weekend of playing loud music, St George's day being one and now on two occasions the music has been playing at 5am, I am no where near your speaker but trust me I feel like I am! Most of the time there isn't anyone in the front beer garden to warrant playing the music..... Seems to be for the neighbours benefit. This has been an ongoing issue and I will be contacting Medway Council because speaking to you directly doesn't help. Your response which you have now deleted: Party central every weekend ??? It's jubilee Bank Holiday weekend it's the first time this year we have had music in the garden , and the volume is monitored, maybe next time don't sit right next to the speaker. Another troll !!! It's party central every weekend however there's rarely anyone in the pub or the pub garden! Music is far too loud to actually have a conversation. Don't bother visiting and I feel sorry for the poor neighbours so much for 'respect our neighbours'! Zero stars!!!!

I honestly can’t fault this place… the food was amazing. Staff could not have done more. Kids got an amazing little treat at the end. It was just the best value for money meal I have ever had. Lovely family friendly atmosphere. Would 100% recommend without a doubt.

What an absolute shambles... I commented on a picture of food they posted stating I was eager to try their food before they posted their most recent pic and was thanked for my constructive criticism and then called a keyboard warrior... They proceeded to say that the people of our local community cant afford their chef/butchers skills so he refuses to cook anything decent...Then they blocked me from their Facebook page and deleated the comments... Didn't bank on me screenshoting them and posting them here though 🤦‍♂️

Really disappointed with here. The place itself has obviously had a lot of money spent on it. We went for a carvery and was surprised at how much we got however all the veg was under cooked to the point that some was actually raw. Friends that we were with said it wasnt the norm. So we will go back for another try

I'm normally fairly quick to write a review on restaurant that failed to impress, but I thought I would sleep on this one. As someone who uses traeger smokers myself, I have to say the quality of the meat that I ate at the Rainham Arms on mothers day this year was not representative of the quality of food this hardware can produce. Pre sliced meats sitting on warming stations, drying out in the warm pub air, I opted to have all 4 meats on offer, Beef, Lamb, Pork and Turkey. The Beef - was barely cooked to a rare point in the middle, and none of the fibrous tissues within the meat had rendered down, leaving a grizzly experience. The Lamb - was dried out and extremely rare at the same time! possibly caused by the heat plate or some other reason, but without the mint sauce the lamb would have been a struggle to put down The Pork, again dry, not much to say here underwhelming. The turkey, was also dry to the point it was in edible, I spent longer than I'd care to admit chewing one small amount before giving up. The vegetables were swimming in water, but they were acceptable, the roast potatoes could have done with being stored with the lid off, so as to prevent the steam condensing onto the lid and making the potatoes soggy. Mass market produced yorkies as well. The equipment that this meat was cooked on should have led to a brilliant meal, but it seems it was just used as a marketing tool and that the staff using them are either inexperienced, such a shame. The Rainham Arms had potential to be a brilliant smokehouse and a nice addtion to my regular locations. However, all i shall remember them for was their sticky bathroom floors, music so loud I could barely hear my Mother on Mothers day

Just went for a Mother's day Carvery 10 of us staff were really attentive place is really clean. We all had so much food lots of choice of meats and so many verities of veg all food was fresh and hot. Very good value for money. Will definitely be returning

Under new management and looks great after refurbishment. Was the Concorde previously. Had Wednesday roast dinner was £7 and really enjoyed it you get choice of Turkey or pork which they serve you a generous helping and then you help yourself to veg potatoes etc 😋 so happy to have a nice pub just along the road to eat, oh and the Red House wine was very good too. Looking forward to going on Mother's day and continue to work through the menu of delicious looking dishes from the Smokers definitely a meat feast sorry vegetarians 😏 recommend you try this place out.

Wouldn't go back if it was free The food was terrible, we came as a family and got our food all separately in 5 minute intervals. Mixed grill was not edable and the landlady didn't seem to care even when I said I wouldn't come back. We left 3 plates of food, took the meat home for the dog and then just get abuse from the land lady as she didn't like our reviews. she believes there was nothing wrong with the food.

Poor service, food was very bland. Go out as a family order as a family... Get your food in dribs and drabs.... Not good. Won't be back.

After looking at photos online we decided to try The Rainham Arms on Saturday. The outside has a nice spacious car park, and outdoor benches which would make it nice to sit out in the summer. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean...

Food at this establishment is barely even acceptable for human consumption. Burger patties are particularly dry and unpleasant and the chips taste pretty bitter and burned. My food was beyond nasty and the people recommending the place must be off their nut! If a lump of gristle and a bad stomach is what you’re after then come along but if not then I’d stay away...

I love a Sunday carvery until now. Turn up first of asked for a glass of water got told by the staff I wouldn't drink it which Is strange when you sell food and drinks. They couldn't accommodate a kids meal either they said they only do carvery so we had to settle for a bag of crisp. On to the carvery meat dry all cut up ready under the hotplate lights so constantly losing moisture and slowly cooking no consistency in any of there food preparation and all vegetables well over cooked as left hot plate to long. Stuffing was raw in the centre as the balls where to big to cook properly. Also very dirty no care taken the women serving me had to take 5 dirty plates away when I was getting served never know nothing like i would strongly advice to stay away beacuse you won't be missing out.

We went here because everyone was suddenly giving it fantastic reviews so we thought we would try it out. The pub is nicely decorated inside and that’s the only positive. There was an issue with the drinks, not fizzy and tasted very watery. The lady brought over a bottle of coke which was lovely but didn’t apologise just said there is nothing wrong with the coke that my friend had. We had the carvery as that was all that was available, the meat was a little dry and the pots for vegetables were empty dispute saying they were empty the lady said there was no more Brussels sprouts. Very dirty area as well which really put me off. Some of the roast potatoes were black which was very off putting. The stuffing was like a ball of rock. Will never go back again, absolute waste of money.
