Great food in a beautiful setting. It feels like a restaurant rather than a pub,which is what we were expecting. Everyone was very friendly

My 1st visit here in a few years and also since it changed from what it was and why I stopped going! Ryan was a real legend when it came to warm welcome, product knowledge and general passion for what they are doing here now! Menu looks fantastic...... Events sounds brilliant and they have so many plans for the coming year! Also the staff there and a couple from another place in town have joined too....... Adding to the appeal of what is already a great place to be in and visit! Thanks Team! 👍🏼🍺😍😍🍺👍🏼

A real gem. Fantastic selection of craft beers and ciders. Can’t recommend highly enough. The Asian curried fish was exceptional and service was seamless and friendly despite being busy for a Monday night. We would definitely return on our next visit to Folkstone and can highly recommend the ambiance and decor.

Excellent town pub with interesting vegan menu. I chose Torched Vegan Feta ­with Ember-Roasted Beetroot, Caramelised Red Onion and Walnut Dressing and Grilled Corn on the Cob. It was delicious, beautifully presented and quite quickly delivered by cheerful staff. We sat in the world garden which was lovely in the sunshine. A very pleasant experience.

Best food in Kent. The chef and his team are offering food you don’t see on other menus, a blend of things everybody loves but with their own unique twist. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is energetic and warm, you feel like you’re sat in your favourite pub, eating you’re favourite foods but everything has been dialled up.

We had a lovely steak dinner the food was exceptional , service was fast, Ellie was our waitress for the evening, very friendly and attentive and went above and beyond to make our experience that much better. Highly recommend the radnor arms for a visit

Lovely pub, popped in for Sunday lunch on a day trip to Folkestone with two small dogs. Friendly service and delicious food. Would certainly return!

Such a shame that my last 4/5 visits here have been disappointing. I met a friend for lunch on Saturday for a long overdue catch up. Unfortunately a table of 4 bottomless brunchers had clearly gotten their moneys worth and got progressively louder and louder, singing at the tops of their voices, raucous theatrical fake laughter… the restaurant was full when we arrived but pretty soon became empty and I believe partly due to the ridiculous noise level of this one table. We were the farthest from their table that the area we were seated in would allow. We decided to order the tomahawk steak to share priced at £60. We also ordered a bottle of house rose priced at £29.95. Seems a bit steep given the steak wasn’t that great, not that big, extremely fatty and only served with fries a corn cob and some lettuce leaves. My point being, if you are going to charge high prices, the food should be exceptional. So at £50 per head with a tip, no starter or dessert all topped off with no one asking the raucous table to be respectful of other diners. I’m now sadly, going to avoid this restaurant. It’s a shame as it was one of my favourites.

Came here and had a lovely time. Ellie was looking after us and she was great and lovely. Had the squid, scotch egg, bread and steak - all cooked excellent. Fabulous decor, atmosphere and food. I’m allergic to sesame and they took exceptional care of my food allergy! Highly recommend The Radnor Arms. 5 STARS.

Had the most Fabulous Bottomless Brunch here Saturday lunchtime , staff were really attentive , the food was excellent and the drinks kept flowing . We all left well fed and a little pickled . Thanks to everyone for a fantastic time.

I can see a few wonky reviews below, but my experience was one of utter joy. Food absolutely first class, staff engaging, amusing, and efficient, and very fair prices considering the level they have attained. If you’re going to do half a chicken and chips, one of my favourite things, do it really well, and they absolutely did. Perfectly cooked chicken and the best chips I’ve had in an awful long time. Great sides which worked well too. The apple crumble style dessert was also a real winner. They don’t call it that, but it’s essentially what it is, but with a twist or two. I’m never a fan of messing with a dish which is already a legend, but what they did with this dessert elevated it to a whole new level. If wasn’t trying to keep my waistline in some sort of check, I’d have ordered another! We have relations in the area now, and I can’t wait to head down this way again soon and try a few more things on the menu. I’m a harsh critic in general, as I see missed opportunities in restaurants all the time, but I couldn’t fault this.

They've upped their craft beer game recently, Beak, Deya and Verdant IPA's amongst others making an appearance on the guest beers menu.

Every time I visit The Radnor Arms, whether it’s for a celebration meal with my family and friends or a quick drink, I always receive exceptional service and the food is always delicious. The team are knowledgeable and are always on hand to recommend a dish or delicious cocktail, all of which are presented with innovative ingredients and flair. The Radnor Arms is always my first choice and I will go back time and time again.

We were looking forward to having dinner here as it had been recommended. The dining room was nice and it was busy Saturday night. Unfortunately the wine that was recommended by the waiter I didn’t like and didn’t drink. The waiter didn’t seem to notice nor did he ask if I liked his recommendation. The pasta dish that I ordered was swimming in oil and I didn’t eat it, my partner ate some. The garlic bread was also swimming in oil which was disappointing. The only thing that was good was the onion rings which were were crispy. Title was only when the waiter brought us the £75 bill did he ask if we enjoyed the meal, when I said I hadn’t he didn’t seem sure what to do. He did offer to get the manager but by this time I just wanted to go home. Unfortunately I would not return nor would I recommend The Radnor Arms.

Loved the decor, atmosphere & food was nice. Lovely outdoor courtyard. Not 5 stars as £21.75 for a glass of wine & a beer is ridiculous. 4 drinks round the corner £18!

A hidden gem! A must visit for all!

We came to this pub as we could find no where showing the rugby, called up in advance and somebody managed to check for us before we arrived. The pub itself is quite trendy looking, the garden was very pretty. The four of us got food which included a veggie option, fish option, and meat option and we all really enjoyed it, had no complaints at all. Ellie was serving us and she was fantastic, really attentive and a great attitude. Enjoyed our time here and would recommend/come again if we were in the area.

I bought my parents to celebrate their 67 th wedding anniversary . The Sunday roast was delicious. The staff were wonderful; kind, considerate and interested. They made my parents day. Thank you so much.

We booked a table for Sunday lunch, for a birthday treat. We have been here several times before, and we were looking forward to it. On arrival we were offered a choice of 3 tables and sat down. Nobody came near us for over 10 minutes to offer a menu or drinks. We caught the eye of a waiter, who was busy taking drink orders from people who arrived after us. Eventually our drinks arrived and I asked a second time for a jug of water, (we also had wine so were not being cheap) Our main courses arrived and although the food was of good quality, the plates were cold, and accompanying veg were stone cold. The meat and Yorkshire pud was lukewarm. A waiter arrived 10 or so minutes later and offered to take my meal to re-set it. The food came back, but the Yorkshire pud was stone cold, even to touch. The waiter offered to get another, but at this point I refused as I wanted to complete my meal at the same time as my partner. I decided not to eat it as it wasn't even luke warm. The service was poor as the lead waiter didn't come near us to apologise or explain, and the server wasn't able to correct the problem. Presumably there was a kitchen issue but no explanation for cold food offered. We were very disappointed with the poor service, attention to detail and inability to correct the errors. We have lost faith in this previously lovely restaurant and shan't rush back. Incidentally we did not ask for a reduction or extras and paid the bill in full. However we were not happy to pay discretionary service charge. They really need to improve based on our experience today.

Lovely little hidden pub, called in for Sunday lunch but we're fully booked, so we sat with a drink deciding where to go, and the waitress we'd spoken to earlier said someone had cancelled did we still want to eat, worth waiting for 100%. Nice staff as well

Second time at this place. Last year came here for drinks with friends which was lovely and this time for some food. Had the breakky bao, good stuff. Solid 6/10. Had the steak & eggs, very good stuff. Solid 8,5/10. Really good. Atmosphere is always great, friendly place with friendly staff, lots of dog owners too which makes it more enjoyable. Will definitely return.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Experience at Radnor Arms! Absolutely loved our visit to Radnor Arms in Folkestone! The food was delicious, the wine was amazing, and the service was incredible—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A lovely touch at the end was having our leftovers wrapped in a fun foil swan shape! It’s rare to find a place that gets everything just right, but Radnor Arms absolutely does. Can’t wait to return—highly recommended!

We celebrated my birthday with a Sunday lunch, and we were not disappointed! We are a very fussy family 🤣 and have already booked a steak night next month. The arancini starter and the chorizo scotch egg were outstanding as were the main roasts, complemented perfectly with red wine, delicious cocktails and mocktails. But what stood out above everything else was the attentive, warm and professional service. Siena and her team were outstanding and their attention to detail made my birthday. We can't wait to come back and continue sampling the menu! And the lychee cocktail was the best!!!!

What a fabulous couple of hours early this evening, I had my little pup with me, had a starter and main, so much food! And the staff loved the dog, it was so relaxing. Tasty chicken boxed to take home for the puppy too. Really enjoyed it. Thanks guys and girls!

Amazing food, great atmosphere and a lovely welcoming waitress Kasha, what more could you want. 😊 We had the Parpadelle Pasta and Buttermilk Chicken Bao Burger, both delicious and would recommend!

Customer service from our waitress is always top tier. Every time we’ve been we seem to have luckily landed this young lady as our server. I personally feel quite guilty that I cannot remember the young ladies name as we always seem to have this person serve us. This may be due to a few drinks and good conversation but her customer service skills are fantastic. Only reason I give food a four is as other people with me have had very small issues with food. Which may I add were corrected. We were very generously compensated for the slightest of issues, even though I’m happy to pay full price. Absolutely fantastic restaurant with even better service staff. I will also add that the Sunday roast just needs to be a little bit bigger. Despite it being delicious.

Great friendly place, friendly with a welcoming and personal boss, we eat well. And a good selection of beer... for the French it's the ideal place..

Lovely sunday lunch with good vegetarian and vegan options. Husband had the Porchetta and loved it. Hadley was our server who was great, nothing too much trouble. If I had one less perfect thing to say was that it was a tad smokey up stairs being above kitchen. All round tho would highly recommend. 👌

Came expecting Christmas lunch (had asked beforehand) but wasn’t available unless you had booked it. Service was excellent throughout. Starters were really good - esp chicken and goat cheese. Mains were solid. Except there was a hair in one of the burgers but they replaced and knocked it off the bill which was good. Steak with roast was not what was expected and was chewy. Baonuts were tough and boring but the mousse and crumble were excellent

I normally love this place and would give it 5*, as it has great ambience and good service. However - word of warning. DON'T order the 'half roast chicken' as it won't be what you imagine - my husband and I both ordered it and for £19.50 with no veg or any accompaniment, were underwhelmed to receive a pile of bones with a small bit of meat on. Not at all what we've ever had in other restaurants when we've ordered half a roast chicken. I didn't like to make a fuss as it was my friend's birthday, so I emailed them the next day. No reply. A week later I phoned and was assured someone would call me, but nope. Look, my fault, I should have said something at the time. I'm trying not to be a sourpuss as this is a great restaurant and please go there - just be careful what you order. And don't expect them to reply to your comments!

Mean portion of smoked salmon but burger was good

One of the best restaurants I ever had in the uk. The chef team have extreme well control on fire power. Excellent seasoning. And cozy vibe. Dog friendly. I am a chef as well, so it is a honest and genuine review.

They have done a very nice job on the refurbishment. Interior is very nice. Ate here with my son and had the seafood platter which to be honest wasn't that great. We also had 2 pints of a nice cherry cider, but at £5 a pint that's expensive to be truly honest. Back years later and had the roast beef lunch which was well cooked. The beef was medium rare and rested well and the whole dish was nice.

Really enjoyable first experience at the Radnor Arms. Great food, lovely surroundings and unhurried friendly and warm service. Will definitely visit again.

An excellent meal cooked to perfection with an amazing atmosphere and a service to match!!

Everything was fantastic, but the main highlight was the food. We tried a lot and everything we ate was incredible! Favorited at the table included the pork belly flatbread, stuffed calamari, fried chicken and mushrooms! Also had a winter mezcal drink that was delicious. Our waitress was lovely and made the evening just that much better. Will be making a special trip back to Folkestone just to eat here again.

Remember this place from when it was the Frenchman many years ago. Cannot comment on the food but reasonable drink selection and good atmosphere. Clearly quite popular as the dining area was pretty full. Would recommend booking

What a lovely lunch. Such friendly well trained staff, every single one of them. Great arancini starter, fabulous Perello olives and a great quality and delicious Quattro formaggio burger. Lovely, warm, eclectic( mix of industrial and comfy) space. Decent wine list too. Highly recommend. Wish we had one of this great pickled egg pub chain near us( please consider opening one in Broadstairs in would be busy all the time) . Thank You.

A gasto pub with a creative menu, expertly cooked using great quality local produce. Classy decor and friendly staff. Not cheap but still great value. The roast chicken was a particular highlight.

We originally chose this pub, because we were looking for a dog friendly eaterie in the centre of Folkestone. We were pleasantly surprised by the stylish interior, with lots of gleaming copper, and the menu choices, which combine old favourites with unusual, like curried cauliflower tacos. The service was friendly and efficient. It all made for a very enjoyable lunch.

We popped in for a quick drink but the bartender, Ben, was so welcoming and informative, we stayed for a few more. He really made it a fun experience. We will definitely be back and will have a meal next time. Thank you Ben.

Great Pub. Nice atmosphere. Was quite busy, so it was a little bit snug. The staff were good, they had a lovely fire on. The food looked really good although we didn't eat here.

My partner recently had her 21st birthday here at Radnor Arms using the event space on the top floor. The service was great and the food was the best. I believe their names were Aly and Kasha but both were super helpful throughout the whole night. Thanks to all the staff who made it a great night!

Went there around Saturday 7pm where the bar area was busy. Both men at the bar were unfriendly and grumpy. I suspect one of them was the manager! You’re mature men and are the front of house but still cannot handle a bit of busyness on a Saturday night? You better find another job then before you ruin the reputation of The Radnor arms.

Food was delivered promptly and was probably the best thing I’d eaten in ages (the Bicalona Sisig pork belly flatbread). Great selection of beers to and lovely ambience. Will definitely follow back whenever the next time I’m in Folkestone is

We came to the Radnor Arms to have the flat iron steaks and a bottle of wine for £49 offer. Every element of the meal was cooked to perfection. The steak was melt in the mouth, the sides were delicious too. I swapped my chips for salad which was more to my liking. Excellent service from a very friendly and helpful young lady. Nothing was too much trouble, she was very knowledgable when we order the wine. That was delicious too. Looking forward to returning soon.

What a wonderful find. We came for dinner with our dog, had a few drinks and then went to order. Due to us ordering a bit past our intended time we realised there was a huge group that had just ordered. But thanks to Sienna she went above and beyond to make sure we could order food. My partner and I just had a lovely evening here. The food was excellent. Delicious, nicely presented, and perfectly proportioned. We had the heritage tomatoes to start and the pork flatbread and beef pappardelle for mains, with a nice seasonal salad on the side. All of which harmonised perfectly (and went very well with the wine). The drinks was just as good. We had a mix of beer, cider, wine and cocktails. The wine (a rich French carignan) and cocktails (a couple or classics: an Old Fashioned and a Pina Colada) were the highlights. The service was friendly, polite and speedy. The barman and waitress that served as were faultless. Finally, the decor and furniture was just our sort of thing. Some heritage features (we loved the brick wall with the various obvious patches and changes of years gone by) and modern touches, all done in a classy and cosy manner. A must visit if you're in Folkestone.

Left standing in the entrance on arrival with no obvious person to talk to about our reservation. Table was under an air-conditioning unit that was blowing cold air constantly. Furniture was falling apart. Waitress was a bit rude. Steak was massively overcooked (relieved a £6.50 discount in return). Menu fussy and over complicated, food tasted like a pack of paprika flavoured crisps. Good selection music playing.

We came for Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday as we had a fabulous Mother’s Day lunch this year. When we get there we were so disappointed to learn they had run out of chicken, cauliflower cheese and pork belly. We expressed our disappointment and the chef literally made the cauliflower cheese from scratch and switched things up to make it perfect! Totally amazing!!!! Fabulous visit with a friends. Great drinks (alcohol-free sparkling 👍🏻 but could do with more alcohol free wines) well cooked food and portions, beautiful decoration & ambience, cute little beer garden/back courtyard, all very well looked after (blooming flowers and shrubs in great condition) good temperature and airflow inside and fantastic attentive staff 👏🏻 I will bring my family back loved it so much. Well done Radnor Arms!

Great vibe from the decor and layout throughout into the beer garden - a feeling of quality and attention to detail. I appreciated the range of drinks - local beers and ciders sourced locally + wide selection of wines. I initially called in for a drink in the evening, and decided to stay for dinner ordering the ribeye steak, which was tasty. I returned the next morning to sample the brunch, choosing the smashed avocado with smoky bacon on sourdough, and a cappuccino. I found the service relaxed and welcoming from bar staff and table servers, who were also very attentive.

The food was good. But it took almost 2 hours to get our food. I think our waiter forgot to put the order in. Other than that, it was ok.

We hosted a pre wedding diner party. It was very pleasant and comfortable evening for my invited guest. Thankyou.

We went for lunch yesterday at The Radnor Arms as a family and it was excellent. The best food I have had in a pub setting for many years, I would highly recommend. The prices are reasonable, the food superb and all the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Heerlijk gegeten, echt bijzondere gerechten hebben ze hier (naast de standaard burgers, maar mijn advies: neem voor ongeveer hetzelfde geld iets dat onalledaags en bijzonder smaakt). De bediening is ook heel vriendelijk. Het restaurant is hondvriendelijk, de hond krijgt zelfs koekjes, wat erg werd gewaardeerd!

Delicious !!! These chefs have gold in their hands 🙌 A restaurant that is suitable for both vegans and lovers of good meat 💕 Everything is carefully seasoned and sublimated. Beautiful place with cool interior. Lovely little outdoor beer garden too. We came for the Wednesday steak night and the food and service were outstanding. Really lovely waiting staff offering service with a smile! The steaks were cooked to perfection, lovely chips, and the kids menu had a great selection for our daughter. Really, really impressed with their attitude towards food allergies. My daughter is allergic to peanuts and I am allergic to sesame and they took this really seriously and took great care of us - this alone will make us return all the time! Radnor Arms, you are fantastic, can’t wait to come back.

I was staying in a nearby hotel and I popped in for a couple of pints. This place has a nice beer garden and I like the copper pumps behind the bar. The barman was friendly and I managed to try a couple of pints of Duddas Tun cider. Which I'd not seen before. I would recommend the Elderflower one. If you should ever happen to see this Paul, great recommendation.
