The RA Bar in Sefton

Visited twice during our stay in Southport. The food was very good and both food and drinks were well priced. We couldn't fault the staff for the service and their pleasant manner.

Would describe this lovely little gem as an unsung hero among the many bars and restaurants in Southport... and I've been to most of them! First off I have to say how lovely the young lads are who served us over the course of our Sunday afternoon- friendly and courteous and take the time to chat to you. Good drinks selection as you'd expect and we ended up coming back an hour or two later for food, which was really lovely especially the lamb roast dinner which my partner had and I intend on getting next time, although my burger was very tasty too! Would definitely recommend.

We went to the RA bar for the first time and were not disappointed. We ordered burgers chips and onion rings. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The drinks were nice and refreshing as well. I would highly recommend and we will return soon.

Great bar with amazing food. Customer service is awesome here, lovely team of staff who are friendly and welcoming. We all enjoyed our meals and had a lovely evening celebrating our friends wedding. Would highly recommend going here to eat, great relaxed atmosphere and lovely bar.

Not been in for a drink or food, we had a nice chilled walk down lord Street and saw Ra Bar, we had a looked at the menu and fancied the Winter Warmer menu so gave it a go. We both had the Creamy Garlic Mushroom to start with, my partner had the Roast Chicken, and I had the Lamb, both off us absolutely enjoyed the meal along with our large Red wine and White wine. Defo would love to come again. They have some faboulous offers including Bottomless brunch, my partner is organising a hen party so looking at a Bottomless brunch in a few months time. Staff's was really lovely and the place was really nice.

Me and 2 friends went for bottomless brunch, while at first it seemed the options for food and drink were limited, it allowed them to focus on quality. Drinks were lovely and quick to arrive, the food was all exceptional, hot, fresh and tasty. One of the cheapest bottomless brunch around with fabulous food and service, we'll be back!

Me and the wife stopped in for a couple drinks on a quiet Tuesday. Decent beer, decent wine. Had a cocktail too. Mike, the barman, made to spot on Pornstar Martinis. Mike was also a lovely host. Kept everything clean, kept our glasses full and had time for a chat. 10/10 would come back.

Fantastic place good music food brilliant and staff so attentive you feel like they are really interested in your stay and go above and beyond to help ! Definitely place pop in and you'll want to go back went here for 50th for couple of days in Southport and if don't want anything crazy and want to chill and have all of the above I definitely would drop in Kate the Manager is so professional and so warming and on the ball all the time busy but never too busy to make you feel like your the only customers in there hats off 👍💖

Visited here after a days cricket watching Lancashire. It was on the bus route on Lord Street close to our accommodation. Initially, we sat outside in the warm sunshine but we soon moved inside when the heavens opened. The inside and front area were very clean and it was a good spot for people watching. The manager? had a good personality with the customers. After 3 pints of Estrella Damm the thunder storms subsided and we moved on after a lovely time.

Scrumptious tapas and gorgeous frozen cocktails were the order of the evening. We chose four small plates between two of us and each one was as succulent as the other. Everything was freshly prepared and piping hot.

Been here a few times and find the place and staff really welcoming. It can be a bit loud at times but that’s okay as you can still have a conversation. Cocktails are very good. One big advantage for us is they’ll get you a taxi which then comes very quickly .

We had a lovely couple of afternoons in here. First day we had cocktails and champagne,with a couple of light bites thrown in. The second time we sampled the Bottomless Brunch. Food was amazing, as were the drinks and on both days the service from Kate. We definitely recommend the black pudding with bacon! We had a brief chat with the owner who was also polite and friendly. We would definitely recommend here. See you next time!

What a lovely warm welcome we got when we arrived at the RA For a little lite meal. Geoff had chosen 3 snacks & I had chosen 3 not expensive a helpful portions In fact we should of just got three between us and of course Geoff had a coffee & TiaMaria and then ice cream for afters. this is well worth a visit.

This bar is definitely worth a visit. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The bar and toilets are spotlessly clean. Food is amazing, well presented and tastes fabulous. Great place to go for lunch or an early dinner. Love the atmosphere & ambience, would highly recommend it.

We had a table booked for 6 of us (three couples) 4 for the Christmas menu and 2 who had main meals. It was absolutely spot on from when we arrived, to when we left. The staff in this bar are fantastic! Welcoming, friendly, chatty, everything most places are not these days. Their Christmas menu was so good that I’ve booked to go again with my parents, who are very much looking forward to it after hearing about our experience. Drinks are at expected prices for a restaurant. Toilets are super clean. Decor is perfect, so much so it’s inspired me in my own house. Thank you Ra Bar, for an unforgettable experience. 5 stars from us!

Went here for a Sunday breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The quality of the food was excellent and had a great choice of traditional ingredients. The staff were excellent and very friendly, our server Kate did a great job and the manager was so helpful. Definitely a good choice.

This restaurant offered lovely food, well presented and the staff were very friendly and catered to all our needs, including our 10 year old. We finished the night with lovely cocktails and can’t wait to return soon.
