The Queens Hotel in Bury

Needs a bloody good clean and some maintainence doing. Apart from that, it's not a bad pub, nice staff and great beer.

Nice pub. Good location. Great area outside for kids/dogs. On an old railway line and has an interesting outbuilding with information on the old line. 🍻👍

This pub is dirty with a lack of cleaners, and bar staff being asked to clean the toilets.

Only been twice , a bit on the expensive side , £4.20 for a San miguel

First time here. Just stopped in on our way past on the footpath. Very nice pint. Bar staff were friendly. The place itself looked nice. There seemed to be quite a number of locals in which is usually a good sign. Cheers.

Wonderful pub, really great beer garden, kids play area, good car park, very good beer, well kept. Fantastic staff, hard working, & very helpful. Great landlord, nice man, hard working and very funny. All in all, a great place to go for a quite drink, or a good night out...

On the few occasions I've been to the Queen's some of their clientele have complete disregard for those with blue badges who genuinely need them

At very late notice Shaun catered for a wedding party of about 70. The staff were great they managed to keep everybody topped up. Thanks very much you helped make my day.

I like it here, fabulous big beer garden in the summer but being an old pub there are lots of cosy corners inside. Good selection of food and plenty of different gins behind the bar!

Attended here last weekend and frankly i don't have a good word to say about the place. I ordered gammon and chips, chips were as pale as the ale and the gammon was hard as iron. I don't often complain and i didnt on this occasion, one of the reasons why i didnt complain was because of the way the landlord was speaking to his staff, and that was before any complaints. I have never met quite a man like him before, his sleazy comments to his staff which were completely inappropriate as well as aggressiveness when they didn't see a customer waiting to be served or there was an empty glass on a table waiting to be collected was quite disgusting. To top it off, i was ill the following day from the food which from getting a glimpse from the kitchen, i wasn't surprised. I have reported this to Bury Council.

Great place to eat drink and chill out

Went in, ordered and was then told they didn’t have what we had already ordered.We could choose something else & didn’t have to pay the difference.. not a lot of choice!! We ended up picking something lower in cost and didnt get the difference back! Not once was we asked how the food was, no salad served with the mains even thought it’s advertised! Steak was full of gizzel and fat. No taste and extremely chewy! Cajun chicken - burnt, no taste, overcooked dry chicken. Microwaved rice not even broken up! Frozen chips.Sticky tables and as for the toilets! Disgrace!!!

called in out of the blue ordered some food, we had gammon, pasta carbonara and a burger, these were very good indeed, will be going back again to try more from the menu.we also had a chat with the chef hes was very friendly and took pride in his cooking , would recommend you try this place , its a diamond in the rough...

Brilliant local pub! Good selection of beers and spirits. Prices are very reasonable. Just started to do food and the menu is very reasonable, although I haven't eaten in yet so can't comment on quality. Karaoke from 8 on Fridays and regularly has events on during the summer. Great place!

Staff could do with speeding and cheering up a bit

Highly recommended if you fancy a quiet cosy drink within the area with good staff and very lovely locals...the right pub. Good for families always and mostly summer time with a good garden area, play area and outside seats. A very good local pub for the Bradley fold/little lever/breightmet/radcliffe residents.

A good pub and vary popular with the locals. They were having a karaoke evening when we visited. You can order food from the bar, and a good range of beers. Grate night out.

absolutely shocking service would never go in this pub again. The landlord is a joke screaming and shouting at customers children if you don’t like kids don’t advise as a family pub what a vile man. Says everything about the pub and little lever as the landlord it little levers councillor 😡 digussed!

Así que decidimos probar el Queen's apropiadamente titulado carne Noche (6 - 8 h), en una noche de sábado, Noviembre excesivamente frío y llegamos a las 7pm para encontrar el lugar lleno de comensales. Sin embargo, fue sólo 10 minutos antes de una mesa numerada.Hay una selección de entrantes, pero comimos pan de ajo (4 piezas cada una de ciabatta con tocino y queso) topping en una cama de lechuga. . . . fue una comida por sí mismo.La carne (cadera) llegaron poco después, perfectamente preparada, con patatas, guisantes, champiñones, aros de cebolla, tomate y salsa de pimienta torrencial.Como era, todo acompañado por una buena botella de pinot, y un precio de £20 en total para dos, la única pregunta es cómo logran una comida tan excelente para el precio.La comida del pub era a las nueve de la noche y fue seguido por un buen lugar residente estaba impecablemente karaoke las 10 pm (Suzie - oke), añadiendo a la experiencia de una buena noche.No sorprende es tan concurrido, volveremos pronto!

We had sizzzlers with Salad and chips, OK for a Sunday Lunch , friendly staff and a nice pint of Guinness.

Sábado por la noche es noche de carne, te dan un plato, bistec con patatas fritas, guisantes, tomate, champiñones y aros de cebolla para dos personas con una botella de vino o cervezas por £20. Usted puede tener los cazadores de pollo o sobresaliente si lo prefiere. La comida está muy bien presentado y muy sabroso. Los aros de cebolla son reales y aros de cebolla que es raro estos días. Es una familia acogedora pub.

We called at the Queens for some tea with family members. Had a lovely meal, we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

We ate here tonight without reservations, although the pub was busy we found a table and ordered our food, we opted for the steak night special, 2 starters, 2 steaks and a bottle of wine, although the starters were limited we still found they were varied enough, the steaks were cooked to our liking and the choice of wine was ok. We have walked away spending £20 and are very satisfied. The food was very tasty and well worth the money

A group of 8 family members ranging from 8 to 56 came to the Queens last night for a birthday celebration tea. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere and great service. The food was freshly home cooked and delicious. Excellent value for money. There is a small playground at the rear, which the smaller children took advantage of. We will definitely be going back again in the near future.

We regularly eat at the Queens hotel as a family. The food is delicious and generous portions, all cooked fresh too. My favourite is the Sunday roasts, it's real comfort food.

Popped in with the wife for a drink while we had been out for a walk on a hot day. Started to feel hungry so ordered some food, wasn't expecting much but was very surprised I had a 'Farm Yard Tower burger' beef burger, chicken burger, bacon and cheese it was outstanding. Wife had a Rib eye steak cook as she wanted, had a little taste, would order it next time. Best of all home made chips. Would recommend a visit. After telling the staff how good the food was they informed me a chef has just started a revamped the menu, off the a very good start I think, I'll be going back
