Absolutely amazing mixed girl with Nan bread and keema rice and keema peas curry my son loved the chicken nuggets and chips

We had a takeaway, mixed grill and chicken tikka masala, the mixed grill was massive and tasted great and the tikka masala was the best I have ever had.

Visited for a stop for lunch and ordered hunters chicken and friend ordered small mixed grill, it did not disappoint got told by a few friends to come and try this place and it was amazing!

Called in for dinner during the Euros, food was good, ordered two pizzas but one arrived and then waited for the other, had to go and ask where it was after 10 minutes, it promtly arrived after that. What I found odd was when England's National anthem came on they turned the sound down and played Sweet Caroline over it and then we had to listen to the opponents National Anthem?? Bizarre!! Found that extremely disrespectful 😡 A local watching the game said that they always do it 🤔

We had a big football game to watch whilst on an overnight trip to Thorpe Park and found this great pub for food and drink! It’s walking distance from the park so that was ideal. We had a mixed grill which was amazing and the drinks are reasonably priced. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area again!

Great pub great food for the money if you are passing I recommend the madras but everything is good if you're hungry try a large mixed grill

Great pub for food, drinks and football

Popped in for lunch whilst in the area. Friendly welcome, and very helpful. Food was amazing. Great portions, tasted lovely. Chilli chicken curry was delicious. Tandoori mixed grill up there with the best we have ever had. Ifwe are in the area, will definitely visit again. Can’t rate rooms as didn’t stay

DO NOT STAY HERE!! We ordered a room for £70, when we got in there there was mould and black bits all over the room, the staff did not believe me until i showed them the pictures. They still did not assist me with getting a refund.

Bloody good pub, the steaks and curries are amazing and bar staff are brilliant. Will be my go to pub whilst working down here

Nice pub nice food nice landlord

The barstaff were lovely. The range of drinks was great. Prices were reasonable. Seating was cosy. Only things that let it down were the 15 year olds in a stolen motor doing a drug deal outside as we entered and one of the locals singing "we hate jews" Food looked amazing. Think we caught it on an off day

Disappointing. Looked nice from outside, but was rather depressing inside. Wouldn't go again or reccomend.

Pretty rough. Came in on a Sunday to get out of the rain and grab a pint. Barmaid was surly and uninterested, glasses were dirty and witnessed an argument between punters that nearly led to a fight.

Lovely pub didn't stay so no stars is no negative but you can't mark what you have not seen. Will go again as I hope the food tastes as good as it smelt ...the beer was up with the best of them ...lovely place well done

After 2 very stressful days with no sleep I came across this lovely proper local justfor a coupleof pints. However what I did not expect were the amazing aromas from the kitchen.... spices galore, invading and making me hungry. I went with the bar staffs recommendation and ordered 4 amazonian dishes, photos attached. The crispiest full of flavour onion bhaji I have ever tasted. The amazing texture and flavoured garlic naan. The pakat lamb, spicey, tender and with a proper kick tha lasts way after the mouthful. And the biriani sauce and vegetables.... I can't begin to describe the crunch, the spice and the sweetness of it. All in all the best ever Indian food I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. My take... 5 star food at amazing pub food prices. And looking at other dishes being served up, you will never go wrong whatever you choose. The Prince Regent is a bar that serves food. If you're into football, there's always a match on the various tv's around the bar. If you're into spicy food, this is a good place to eat at reasonable prices.

Typical City centre pub. Unremarkable. UNTIL you eat the Indian food, prepared by an Indian Chef. As good as you will get anywhere. ( And no, never been there before and no reason to write a fab review )

Been using the pub on and off for years . Just a quick pint hear n their . Meet up with friends of mine sataday and tried the curry they do everybody talks abt and believe you me . It was the best . Shared the tandoori mix grill with rice and nann . Top quality food and plenty of it . Can't recommend enough. Defo worth a visit in my opinion

On Saturday lunchtime, 10 of us ordered a takeaway without high expectations - the food was incredible - by far the best Indian we have all had in a long time. The portions are very generous, the onion baji's are enormous, king prawn biriyani is delicious, chilli naan was a big hit (not with me!). Menu isn't huge which I think is a good thing - everything they make is really well cooked. Surprisingly looking forward to our next family get together to order from there again.

I live & work in chertsey but found this pub by chance. From outside it looks like a rough pub but I've learnt over time not to judge a book by its cover!!! 😂 Being of Indian origin, I can certainly say this place serves excellent flavored & correctly spiced indian food. It is NOT one of those bangladeshi restaurant serving indian food to please british palate with dishes like balti, dhansak etc etc. The quality & the quantity get 5 stars. The owner Sonny is very friendly & comes arnd for a good chinwag even if it's busy. Don't miss their mixed grill!!!!!!!!!!! It's to die for!! The only reason I've given them 4stars is cos there's no delivery & it gets a bit noisy with 3 massive TVs & ppl having fun. If u want a quiet night, do a collection & savour their fantastic dishes at home!!! Om nom nom! !! 😂

Lots of Screens showing football, simultaneously! Indian based food menu, good value. Sunday Roast though nott upto scratch, compared to a traditional Englisg Pub. Freindly service, from owner and staff. Pub is a bit dated, tacky even. Interiors need a major overhaul. Overall, can best be described as a place to catch live action sports that's .... value for money!

Good food. We had a big group and the food came out nice and quick and was lovely.

This place is a hidden gem! Curry’s are superb, chicken tikka roll is possibly the best roll iv had anywhere. Portions are a good size on reflection of the price. Hard to go anywhere else for taste alone. 10/10.

Best Indian food that I have had in years

Food delivered and couldn’t eat it as was so spicy, I started choking due to the kick. Lamb biryani never tasted so awful, will never use this guys again. The whole meal straight in the bin.

Incredible hospitality. Had an issue with an Air BnB booking at this venue (use hotels.com!) through no fault of the venue, booked to stay 6 nights over Ascot that they were unfortunately unable to accommodate. Host couldn't have done more to help us, and eventually we were lucky enough to stay 1 night. All staff were very helpful and tried to find us alternative accommodation. We stayed for dinner which was incredible (highly recommend the Palak Lamb!) And before retiring to our room, the host kindly invited us for a complimentary Whiskey as an apology which was incredibly kind - we ended up having 2 more as we sat talking at the bar! Amazing experience and sad we couldn't spend the 6 nights there, will definitely be looking to book for next year's event!

A good honest pub with a sporty feel but with good honest Indian food. Small mixed grill, fresh, tasty, hot and very generous. Masala chips had a good kick if slightly soggy chips (maybe touch too much sauce). Menu has been simplified a hit since last pre pandemic visit which is a good move. Samosas not so original. Definite good combo experience of a pub and an Indian meal so definitely offers something different in this area.

Waited over 40 mins before asking about our meal told it'll be another 20 mins before even popodoms would be ready. Such a shame. Really poor service, cancelled order. Eaten here previously and food has been great. Today was so very bad Pub was not busy no mention of wait. Such a shambles. Sadly would not recommend

Great pub with brilliant friendly service. Food was fantastic... I probably won't be in the area again, which is a shame. If this was my local I would definitely be a regular. We couldn't have had a better meal, and staff couldn't have been better.

The Prince Regent has become the place to go to for evenings in Chertsey. Very welcoming and supportive owner/team. Service is always top notch, also providing high quality meals at a great price.

Had various curry dishes. Spiced to our liking. Fresh food and very generous portions. COVID-19 compliant. 👍👍

The pub is ok if your just wanting a quick pint or for watching sport on TV. It could do with some TLC and had little atmosphere which was a shame. It's also not dog friendly but a few yards in either direction you will find a dog friendly pub.

A lively pub showing football The prices are expensive plus they raised the prices of the beer because the football was on!!!

Huge portions on the curry. No way I could eat it all. No problems though as landlord put in plastic containers and I took it home for supper! Large choice of gins here too. Pub is popular with people wanting to watch sport on the many telly here.

Just had tandoori mixed grill what flavours salad was very delicious meat was cooked perfectly. Last night had biriarni this place needs to be in the good food guide on how food should be served.

Last night I had a curry here with my friend, it was very good and fantastic value for money. The naan are particularly good, full of flavour and crispy, not too doughy. Will be returning.

I could not fault the Sunday roast. The potatoes were particularly nice. Good sized portion and at a very good price for the local area. The pub is what you would call a proper pub, service is always spot on.

Just had drinks here but this pub is a bit dated, needs a freshening up soon, friendly staff, you can watch sports on tv here.

Naan bread was stodgy and dense. It seemee like it was perhaps not cooked in a tandoor oven? Maybe a tawa or cooled in an oven? The vindaloo was poor. Really lacking flavour and forgetful. When I first tried around 9 months ago the food was much better. Maybe an off day?

Called in for a couple of beers on an evening and I must say it felt every bit a locals pub. Good selection of beers and lagers and overall average.

The good point was that the curry was nice. Prices are high for a pub but given that the Madras was really good and onion bahji was nice, that was ok. The pub however is really rough. I was really shocked that after getting up and going outside for a cigarette, that the person sat next to me started eating my dinner... Literally within 5 seconds of me getting up. He was using my spoon to eat my food. Absolutely disgusting and something I have never experienced and would never expect to see anywhere.
