Great atmospheric, friendly pub. Excellent selection of real ales along with a good range of lager, ciders, wine and spirits. Good home made pub rolls with various fillings.

Cracking pub ,friendly staff and locals

Loving this classic British Pub on Westbury Hill which used to be a stop for the mail coach in the 18th Century and still has the atmosphere from those times. You can get a great pint of local ale, a sandwich and bag of crisps along with a ton of local atmosphere.

Unplanned visit, and it has been at least 20 years since my last visit. The pub has a genuine feel to it, and the fire was on which was lovely. Such a great layout and style, such as the red telephone box! Well, worth a visit! We won't leave it so long next time!

Cosy pub with a wide selection of ciders. I had a pint of still cider (can't remember the name) which was very pleasant!

Very nice Butty Bach. Very, very nice! Apart from that it's a pleasant comfortable pub. Can't comment on the food as we didn't have any. Best described as a very decent local.

The owner was fantastic! He lit a fire for us in the lower section of the pub while we played darts. Great place to watch the world cup with locals. Also, easy to park around Westbury in the evenings.

Great pub. My husband and his best friend drink here when they get together. When I pick him up at the end of the evening, I get a lovely cup of coffee. But that's not the only reason I enjoy it. Just a great all round pub.

Surpassed itself tonight.! Not only was the draught Bass straight out the barrel on song but a free buffet was provided which will be an occasional benefit on some evenings. Good acoustics too which can be an issue in some busy pubs. If you like good beer at reasonable prices, a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service then this is the place.

Hemos vivido localmente en este lugar durante 10 años, durante los cuales este pub ha cambiado de manos varias veces. Aparte de un breve período en el que había una joven casera que manejaba a su clientela con vara de hierro, este pub sigue siendo un semillero de clientes ancianos, masculinos y de mal comportamiento. Cuando era más joven, disfrutaba de este tipo de bebida de la vieja escuela, ahora me impacienta con el deslucido servicio, la ambivalente selección de cervezas y el mal comportamiento de los lugareños en este, mi local. Es una pena.

The Pot at Wot is a lovely cosy pub, it has wood fires and a good atmosphere. It serves great food and an amazing roast on a Sunday! I’ve had the pizzas with the Monday 2 for £9 deal too and they are incredible 😍 It’s a traditional pub that has a lot of regulars and locals, but people from out of town are made to feel very welcome. A good selection of beers and drinks in general. Would definitely recommend!

Nice quite little pub but drinks aren't cheap and the Sunday roast isn't as good as it used to be. Plates were boiling hot yet the food was lukewarm. The cheese sauce on the vegetables wasn't even cheesey if anything it tasted powdery and they'd added rosemary and tyne to the vegetables which gave it a perfume taste. Not to my liking at all. So in all not a good meal Won't be having a roast there again

Visité The Pot at Wot como se le conoce durante una visita a Bristol y Bath. El personal realmente amable, un interior peculiar y una buena cerveza lo convirtieron en una excelente decisión. El personal y el gerente zumbaban y una fiesta de Navidad parecía estar teniendo una gran tarde. Realmente contento de haber decidido parar en este gran pub, ¡definitivamente volveremos!

They offered no vegetarian or vegan main dishes when friends and I visited quite some time ago. When checked more recently, not much had changed. We therefore don't use this pub any more. Perhaps the chef should overcome his own prejudices and offer the choice that 21st century customers demand.

Had two pizzas for two. Hand stretched bases, good toppings and only £9 each. And there's a help yourself cheese board at the bar.

We are regulars at the PoT and eat there about once a month. The food is always fresh, tasty and varied. Last night I had chicken Thai green curry - delicious. Two friends had liver, bacon, mash and gravy - perfect. Another had cod and chips - crispy, fresh - really good.

By eck, it were nice to go to POT. Much cheaper than th’mouse up road and th’locals would listen to my complicated stories about not shaking left back hands but signing autographs. Well worth a visit. We go every Monday for pizza.

Cold winter's evening, advised to seek out the POT at WoT. Greeted by a lovely fire and a bar with a large selection of real ales, bliss. Lovely ambience in the "snug" with about a dozen locals. Beer reasonably priced and in good condition. Didn't order food, maybe next time, I'm sure there will be a next time.

A delightful pub that has plenty of character

A very cosy pub with multiple real fires which offers a great selection of beers and ciders. The food menu looked good too. I felt there was a bit too much furniture which made the space around the bar a bit cluttered.

Looking forward to sitting by the roaring fire but all we could hear was the match even though it wasn't visible to us. No incentive to order, seems a shame on a Saturday and didn't notice the other customers drinking as they were fixed on the screen.

Probably the best traditional pub in Westbury..largely down to choice of beers..but still no real craft beers. I just head down to Groupo to get that.

The beer is cheap and the food is ok for a pub meal. But the manager is horrendously rude and clearly can’t be bothered to make any effort. Been treated like a piece of dirt numerous times.

Bass is good. Food good. Ambience good.

Have recently moved to an office next door but have not been in the Pot at Wot for 15 years

Shocking visit! Ive never been spoken to so rudely by whom i imagine was the landlord. Hes in the wrong trade! Avoid this place at all costs.

Fairly straightforward no frills pub fare and drinks. Staff are fairly friendly and helpful.
