Fabulous pub, Jackie looked after us and the Dogs. Nothing was too much trouble, she went way beyond what I ever imagined just to make us feel welcome. A great friendly and warm atmosphere and the food was incredible. I totally recommend this pub - its brilliant

Went pond house for lunch had cheese and potato pie chips and peas was very nice highly recommend it for meals and drinks friendly staff and service with a smile see ya soon

Dropped in for food and a drink. Felt sorry for the girl behind the bar being pressured but coping well. Food was ok but definitely had the chef microwave touch.

Good food, good beer, plenty of sport. Sometimes live music, mid week pop quiz. The seats outside get plenty of afternoon and evening sun. Plenty of parking.

Gteat staff had a lovely meal whilst visiting family everywere was clean and tidy would visit again would have liked to have seen more desserts on the menu

Relaxed, friendly environment, dog friendly (inside and out). We met with Amanda (manager) and Celia who were welcoming and accommodating. Great value lunch and dinner menu with lots of options to meet dietary needs as well as senior and child friendly menus. Huge TV showing sports (if that’s your thing) and pool table and darts available too. Dad reckons they serve the best fish and chips in town and we will definitely be back.

We had a very successful social meeting for our choir group last night, we were all fed and watered and well looked after ! Despite the ridiculous heat, Jacquie and Debbie made sure we were all comfortable and had plenty of water on the table. Everyone was complimentary about the food and good value menu choices. We went to the Pond House again today. Probably our fifth or sixth visit recently. Having previously spoken to the staff who were working today there was no welcome or even acknowledgement of us being there. The service was slow, almost reluctant I'd say. It's definitely not the welcome/service we enjoy at other Greene King venues. I suggest the staff visit the Wee Waif, The King's Head or The Old Five Bells for customer service training, its very much needed. Unlikely to return sadly.

Great local spot to watch the sports and the atmosphere is definitely better than most pubs around. However, they are not adequately prepared for when it gets busy especially during obvious times such as big sports matches etc. They were unable to keep up with orders at the bar and half of the menu items were unavailable due to running out of key ingredients. This is easy to fix with some planning ahead by management. The food that was available was great and the overall atmosphere is good too and they have tv’s everywhere. Would recommend on casual days, not when there are big televised events though.

Went for lunch with family, the pub is very family friendly excellent service from the staff. Pricing is reasonable and food is lovely.

This is the second time I've been here and both times it was really good. Nice atmosphere, very helpful staff, and the food is such good value. I meet my friend in Maidenhead every so often and this is our new goto pub for lunch. If you've not been, try it!

Went here over the bank holiday weekend, Had great service from the staff, we ordered food which was well done and well priced all the meals we had were nice, the build a burger option was great they were out of a couple of the options but given it was a busy weekend i can't fault them for that, the atmosphere was happy and family friendly, we will be coming back again.

Nice clean pub, if you like sport, there are several TV Screens showing main sport. Champions league while I was there, unfortunately it was Arsenal LOL. Great menu and the food was well presented and ample. Definitely will come again!

Fantastic food every meal we had has been great . Service from the staff go far and beyond to make sure you happy with the food . Well done to the pub for such a great experience. I would travel far for this pub for sure .

Great place to chill and have some tasty food

This is a favourite of my daughter and as it on my way home and close to my home I have often wanted to stop for a meal and a quick drink on Friday nights. This I did and found my daughter and some friends already there and who had already eaten, when I entered at 8.35pm on Friday. My son in law was already at the bar getting drinks and bought me one, whilst I waited to order food. I finally got to order at 8.56 pm and was told ''kitchen closed!' It must have been my night because when I went to my local fish and chippie they were on holiday and another one was closed at 9.30pm! Last Saturday you would expect it to be busy with Rugby Internationals on but no extra staff were evident. Sunday evening I was about to pop out to have a drink after finishing paperwork when some friends texted me to say they were going for a meal and I joined them. I always drink a NZ Savignon blanc and the first glass was warm. When I ordered a second glass and told the young lady serving me she said it could not be at it had just come from the cellar. Then your cellar is warm or you must have left the top off it and not used a Vacu Vin on the bottle.

Popped in for a bit of breakfast and a couples of pints. As usual the staff from manager down,were fantastic and made us feel very welcome and always make a great fuss of our dogs they always ensure they have water and a treats. Food as always great tasting and great value. Keep doing what you are doing folks.

Few of us went to pond house for dinner and drinks. Atmosphere was great. Food service was a bit slow but it was a busy evening as well. Reasonable prices and very tasty food. We will definitely come back again ☺️

We had Boxing Day here with family, a total of 16 plus one infant ...we all ate from their Festive Menu and had varying meals from Steak to Roast Turkey with all the trimmings. The food was plentiful, well presented, and served lovely and hot, despite being quite a large party of us. We all thoroughly enjoyed our family lunch. The staff at this pub/restaurant were very welcoming and I'm sure we will be back again soon as the bill for all of us was very good value for money..Thank you to everyone at The Pond House for a lovely afternoon.

We were a family of 7 adults, 2 teenagers, 3 kids, and one small pup. I had booked Xmas dinner setting for 2pm. Firstly, we all would like to thank the staff for their exceptional service before and especially on the day. They went out of their way to help with menu changes which suited our difficult and fussy teenagers (note we made these changes well in advance and not on the day). The service was 5 star by all the staff and owner, who came up afterwards to check we were happy with everything. Super friendly and helpful throughout the meal. The children were treated to a goody bag at the end of the meal which made them very happy. Everybody really enjoyed themselves, you made it a very special Xmas for all. Many thanks

This was a real surprise as I have lived locally for over 30 years and had only ever been to this pub once and had not a good experience. However we were tempted by their great value Xmas meal and booked a table for four. When we arrived we were shown to our table by the manager and the waitress was told as we had pre booked and paid a deposit we were to be given priority in the kitchen. We had some great starters and the main course of turkey was excellent .we had great puddings but they were so large we couldn't finish them. Drinks were reasonably priced , a pint of beer around £4.50 . The staff were all very friendly . We all agreed it was a great meal and would come back again soon.

what an experience we had!! i don't like going to many places to eat due to my daughter and myself being very fussy eaters,, however the pond house did their best to meet our needs. the staff were happy bubbly and talkative aswell as very attentive towards everyone. the food was beautiful!! hot fresh and presented very well. me and my family would like to say a big thank you to the pond house team for the warm welcome and amazing overall experience we had,, and we will be back!!.

Yet again, I’ve been to this pub/sports bar and had nothing but great service, food and atmosphere. I can’t praise the chef - Jackie (I think) enough for the quality of the food and Roy and Chloe behind the bar for welcoming us, promptly serving us and saying good bye when we left. I can honestly say that in any other pub I am just a number, but here, I’m a customer. Well done guys, keep it up. I’ll be back!!!

A nice enough pub, but it is owned by Greene King and I ordered a pint of Greene King IPA, and it was so bad that I didn’t want to drink it. Again, a nice enough pub, but I would stick to the lager if I went again.

We had a great experience today when we gathered to watch the Lionesses play this morning. The Pub is easy to get to with plenty of parking spaces. The staff were lovely and the food very tasty. Will definitely be back.

We have been here many times. The service is fantastic, the food is great value, the beer is decently priced. I do really like the chicken tikka here. The pool table is a nice feature that many pubs lack now.

This place is top notch. Considering that I am a Spanierd citizen and I am very demanding with food I can tell that the atmosphere, food and service in this pub is absolutely superb. Callum was the bartender that served me for a few times...

Once again the Pond house Maidenhead have exceeded expectations. I arrived for a quick pint on my home with two dogs on a 30 degree day. I ordered my drink and sat outside in the shade. The barman Paul, came out and filled a dog...

As a member of the pool team we always feel welcomed down on mondays and sundays for practice. Staff is all lovely and make sure we are well looked after. Food during our games tastes absolutely amazing and keeps us well fed.

9 of us arrived for the first time at Pond House last night. Welcoming and great service. Everyone enjoyed their food. Would visit again. Thanks for an enjoyable time.

Went for a jacket potato which on menu stated piled high with choice of filling and a dressed salad garnish well I’m sure from my picture you can appreciate my disappointment
