A family 60th birthday, I booked 6 rooms, the 2 big family rooms, spacious and well presented, big showers, the other rooms were smaller so cheaper it's nearly the end of the season so we expected where and tare. We paid for bed breakfast and 3 course dinner. The food was really good and breakfast was amazing, instant coffee was fine, it's not a big hotel, if you asked for water or juice they would have obliged. Steph and her team were amazing. Most of us came from London so used to higher price, £18 for prosecco was amazing, I also pre ordered food, even asked for extra brandy! Thank you to Steph and her team.

Visited The Plough for a overnight stay. We were meeting up with good friends for a 60th birthday party. Warmly welcomed on arrival my staff. Old country pub, rustic but charming. Bedroom adequate with all amenities you would expect. The landlady and staff were so approachable and checked in regularly with us to make sure we had everything that we needed and at mealtimes, that the food was ok. We would definitely stay again.

I had the fish and chips which was fab, My husband and daughter had a lamb burger and a beef burger which looked incredible and they ate the lot! if you want food cooked by someone who loves what they do and takes care and pride in his food this is a great pub. we have decided to try and make it a weekly Monday outing as they open on a Monday when most placed in Hereford are closed which is a bonus. Well I stayed here a fortnight ago and I am back for a second visit already. If you, like me, like to stay in places with genuine charm and character, then The Plough Inn is well worth a visit. The great rural location, with stunning views perfectly compliment the warmest of welcomes, tasty menu and range of ales & ciders. Rooms range from the cavernous to cosy. So, something for everyone's requirements and budget. There is even an adjoining field suitable for camping and Lived in Vehicles too. Well worth a visit 👏

The Plough was a very welcome stop after trying to follow a Times recommended walk which took us from nearby Hoarwithy around the Athelston's Wood - a very pleasant 7 miles with the Plough as the start of the home run downhill to the car. Welcoming and friendly staff served well-kept beer and snacks - and tried to help with the rather confusing Times map and directions. The pub is a small local wth some parking - we didn't try the pool table but heard it in action..a pleasant pause on our way.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding down the road at the woodland campsite. We arrived the night before, and spent a night in the pub. The owner on arrival gave us a warm welcome and showed us all to our rooms, ours had an amazing view over the fields. Even with a member of staff down due to sickness, they managed to squeeze in a bit of time to make us some food, which went down well on a night in the pub the night before the wedding. There was a great selection of drinks on offer for a good price! Dog, cat and chicken lovers rejoice, as this place has all of them, (although the dogs keep the chickens out of the pub!) Breakfast was very nice, a full English, and good value. Just remember to order it the night before.

There's not much to say about Little Dewchurch, mainly I think because it's little. Even Wikipedia struggles. But one thing that can be said is that it has a great little pub - The Plough Inn. Hugely rustic and overwhelmingly unpretentious, we (dog included) received a warm welcome when staying overnight to break a long journey. Our double room was clean and tidy with a clean, well equipped ensuite and the bed was comfortable. The walls are a bit thin, so don't discuss any state secrets but for the room-only price charged, why would you expect more. In the bar there's some local ales to savour and the friendly locals will offer their knowledge and advice. The evening menu provides a limited but good choice and the food is tasty and wholesome. In the morning, there didn't seem to be any choice other than 'full English' but then it had been a late night for the staff. Anyway, the breakfast was full; it was English and most importantly, it was delicious. All in all, a good stop-over pub (sorry, Inn) to be recommended.

As the venue for a 3 day music festival the management and staff of this pub went the extra mile to make everyone's stay very enjoyable. The pub is a work in progress with the management having to work within very strict guidelines as set by the local council. As we were at a small festival the BBQ was in use rather than the usual menu other than the Sunday dinner which was very nice and reasonably priced. This is a very nice village pub with great owners and staff, the locals were quite friendly as well. We have no hesitation in recommending a visit to The Plough Inn and will call again when next in the area. As we were at an event things were adjusted to cater for that hence I can't give 5 stars as we couldn't sample a full menu.

From the outset Dean and Stephanie are keen that you should feel at home and welcome in their pub of which they have recently assumed the management. We heard that they have secured the services of a talented chef and although we confined ourselves to steak (Tuesday is steak night) they were perfectly cooked so will not argue! We sat at the table to the right in the photo above and with the area only half full (we were eating early at 7pm) it lacked a bit of atmosphere - maybe all the lights and table lights should be on, whether there are people there or not? Attentive service, appetising food, juicy tender steaks (I particularly enjoyed the crisp salad and its dressing), the sound of laughter from the bar, ice cold cider - what more could you want?

Pleasant surroundings outside, unfortunately the food was not too a very high standard. Ham and piccalilli sandwich, ham tasteless (wafer thin and breaded, supermarket family pack springs to mind). Should have been advertised as a Piccalilli sandwich, Coffee was fine.

I absolutely love being in this place and it has a beautifully calm feel. However I am totally astonished by the dolls-house size servings for lunch- at normal lunch prices. I almost asked them if they hadn’t accidentally given me a kiddie’s portion - for a cheaper price- as for over £9 I got two slices of delicious small rye toast, about 7 very small lettuce leaves, 4 olives and a small pot of delicious dip. All very tasty but absolutely not a main course. I know I these are locally sourced ingredients but this felt really wrong. I will definitely return for post lunch coffees but will make sure to eat somewhere else where I can fuel up for lunch before hand.
