Can’t believe the value for money & quality of food, highly recommended!!! Got a dozen friends together to try their £20pp eat all you like buffet - insanely good. Ribs to die for, beef brisket, burgers were huge, buttermilk chicken burgers with peanut butter & bacon chilli jam, Mac cheese, pulled pork, homemade slaw & cornbread. Then if you had any room left, chocolate fountain with fruit, biscuits & cheese board…….oh plus unlimited cream sodas - how they pulled this off for the price I don’t know, but HUGE THANKS as our party had a FANTASTIC evening 🙏

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here whilst visiting Ledbury. A warm welcome and a relaxing environment set the scene for a beautiful salmon tartare with feta followed by fresh seabass cooked extremely well with vegetables and a potato rosti. We would certainly recommend eating here. Very good value too compared to the other restaurants in the area. Many thanks.

Food, service and atmosphere of this wonderful pizza shop was excellent. The chilli mayo homemade dip was completely out of this world. Highly recommend the sausage factory pizza. Dough is made fresh daily and you tell by how fluffy the base is. This is my new favourite pizza shop!

Took our small dog inside this lovely venue for a spot of lunch today. We were over in Ledbury for a few hours and had enjoyed our previous visit so much we decided to return. Mel is always extremely friendly and welcoming. The waiting staff are all very efficient and polite. We both enjoyed the food and the ambience very much today. I’m sure the roast Sunday lunches would be fabulous if the rest of the food is anything to go by.

Visited Ledbury on a days trip. Decided to try this lovely looking venue, after our first choice was described as "full". On entry, we felt an immediately friendly atmosphere. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. There was quite a choice listed on the menu and specials as well. The quality of the food was excellent and very tasty. The prices were very reasonable and certainly not "over priced" as many venues of this quality charge these days. I would highly recommend a visit to here whilst in Ledbury.

I can honestly say it’s the worst pizza I have ever had, ordered a Piri Piri chicken thin and crispy, very little chicken, no fresh chilies, just a very salty mixed spice powder all over it. Must be new owners, no where near the standard it used to be, don’t think I will be going back.

We are from Malvern but passing through Ledbury and fancied a take away pizza. Honestly the nicest pizza we’ve ever had and wish you had a place in Malvern. Would definitely drive to collect another. So tasty thanks so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This cafe has had a name change and assumingly a change of owner. It is now called the new market house cafe and grill and is a lovely place for brunch. The quality of the food served is excellent and the staff so pleasant. Very reasonably priced aswell. Can't wait to return for lunch next time i'm in Ledbury

We visited as a large family group. There was something for everyone on the menu, all meals were tasty and fresh. The value for money is excellent and the people are lovely.

Pleasant, helpful staff, but after that it’s all downhill. The food was poor in quality and surprisingly overpriced. Unfortunately, the whole experience was in sharp contrast to my last visit, however that was some years ago and I guess then under a different owner/management team. I shall not be returning.

Dropped in here for lunch. The staff went out the way to accommodate us and rearranged tables so we could have space. Also went out their way so our child could have chips so thank you for being so friendly and helpful, a lot of places wouldn’t do that . Had couple of Sunday roasts which were lovely. Good sized portions of beef, potatoes, carrots , Yorkshire pudding, stuffing. Cabbage . All with tasty gravy. Only took 20mins or so to wait. Thank you your doing a great job & I will recommend

Hmm thin crust pepperoni was very greasy and base not crisp at all. Deep crust veg similar. Not great. Did some Americans in another review really say this was good??? popcorn chicken wasnt great either

Amazing pizza, loads of choice and reasonably priced. The garlic bread with cheese is definitely worth trying.

The pizza itself is good, but very intense. My only issue was when the pizza was delivered, it was all squashed in the box and half of it was mashed together which was disappointing.

We got to Ledbury and needed a quick lunch and so we chose this place.  The food was okay, nothing spectacular but there was definitely nothing wrong with it. The location is central to the city centre and parking was relatively easy. What set me back a bit was the fact that during our lunch, some guy walked in with a dog, je was allowed to take the dog to the food preparation area and the staff proceeded to pet it and I did not see any of them wash their hands after. This made me think about hygiene in the place. I may consider going back but it's low down on my list.

Lovely place and the pizza is amazing

4 of us (2 couples) were directed to a table where we ordered 4 drinks whilst choosing from the menu and this is what we got:- Ham and cheese baguette. That was ok. Pulled pork bagette with gurkin. What arrived was a baguette containing gurkin and a mixture of minimal pulled (almost minced) pork and a smokey BBQ sauce. A combination which tasted awful and was difficult to contain in the bread, A side of fries made from an unpeeled, almost completely black potato and were left. A pasta linguine w3ith fresh cherry tomatoes that contained no cherry tomatoes at all and pasta that had been cooked to a flavourless mush that was inedible and 100% in edible. A Ceasar that had been prepared by someone who has never seen a Ceasar Salad. Instead of fresh green salad and diced chicked lightly tossed on Ceasar dressing and sprinkled with croutons, what was served resembled a small chicken thigh-on-the-bone next to a dolop of semi-liquid green and white slop, which was again inedible. We were presented a bill for £60 and asked if everything had been OK. When we protested the only reaction from the waitress was "well that was a 'Classic' Ceasar Salad. We left and will never return. Our advice to customers is save your money and spend it at the Feathers.

This cafe is a great spot for people-watching whilst you enjoy your refreshments, but it is the food and staff that made our visiti so enjoyable. We enjoyed a tasty lunch with an unusual dessert - a sort of peanut butter/nutella tart - and would happily return again if we are ever in the vicinity.

Poor service - went in and sat down and were presented menus. Waited 10 minutes no one came over. Food was over priced and the breakfast. Left and went to Greggs. The cafe was not even busy !

Went in on the saturday for a breakfast,. The food is excellent..local produce and so tasty.. The service and friendly staff is always worth it.. Then had a sunday lunch today and i really couldnt think of one item i wouldnt recommend .. Expect to come out smiling and full up.. And a very reasonable price to..

We stopped in here for a light lunch on our way to London. We hadn't been for decades (literally) and it is under different ownership. We just had a piece of really lovely homemade quiche with a bit of salad and an excellent coffee. The welcome was friendly with good service. Everything was spotless too. We may have to get back into the habit of coming this way again.

Bluntly refused to deliver 7 minutes drive, 2.2 miles from the shop. Then rudely hung up the phone instantly.

We’re on holiday in the area and everyone has told us about all the amazing restaurants in Ledbury, so we stopped in here for lunch. The greeting was polite enough, and our order taken. We waited 45 minutes for our food - during this time the restaurant had quietened down considerably. Finally got our meals. Burger meat and bacon were well over cooked and tasted like leather:( pulled pork was chopped pork and all our meals were luke warm. No-one came to check if we were satisfied with our meals or not. Needed the toilet and sadly was not surprised to see it dirty. Walls, door and bin were all grubby. Wash basin splashback has not been cleaned for a long time, if ever. Very disappointing visit and certainly would not recommend it to anyone:(

We only dropped in for coffee but the owner and staff were really lovely and the coffee was great!! Returned the following day and greeted like friends!! Smashing!!!

Very, very good service, went for a Saturday steak night, a group of six, the food was more than ample and very well cooked and prepared, service attentive and friendly without being intrusive. No alcohol licence, but you can bring your own.

The best pizza I have ever had! The regular size is enough but I wish I bought a large as it was so yummy. The amount of topping was very generous. Although it's nearly 2 hours away from home we'd definitely like to visit again.

We popped in for dinner one night, following a recommendation from a shopkeeper in Ledbury and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely excellent, very tasty and cooked completely fresh. Customer Service experience again was excellent and we were so well looked after. The Cafe owners are working extremely hard to make this business a success and you can see their passion to make this happen with their commitment and determination to make it work. Excellent value for money - if anything they should be charging a bit more. Don't pass by - pop in, you won't be disappointed.

We arrived very close to closing time on a Sunday. The owners were very accommodating to some 'shopped out' girlfriends. The Roast was amble and delicious. The pricing of the roast dinners was in our opinion very odd to say the least, as depending on what meat you chose the price was different. In every eatery we have been to the roast dinners were a 'set price' regarding of the meats chosen. That saying, the service was excellent. Thank you Draft saved at 09:49. m

Called in here today for a coffee and two teas. Asked if we'd like a pot of tea which on the menu is priced at £3 so had that. We got a pot of tea and two cups however when we came to pay we were charged £3 EACH for the tea! To be charged £3 each for a pot of tea but only get one pot between two is a blatant rip off. When challenged that the menu pricing is misleading we were refunded £1! Be very wary using this place.

I always make sure I re-visit Ledbury when visiting my parents in Upton Upon Severn from Australia. While in Ledbury on Easter Monday 18/04/22 I couldn't resist re-calling into Market House Café since my last visit in 2018. Friendly staff, plenty of seating & unfortunately I only had time for a beautiful piece of Cake & one cappuccino, excellent service & delicious food / drink & excellent value paying GBP 5.60. Certainly worth visiting Market House Café being so close to the local history & interesting old buildings etc.

We visited this cafe twice when driving by within a week. Highly recommended. Excellent friendly service. High quality food. We loved the straight out of the oven homemade quiche and everything was of high quality. Excellent coffee. We will be back.

I have lived in Ledbury now for 6 months after living in Malvern for the last 15 years. I've been missing my pizza. So when I got home from work and my wife produced a menu from a pizza place in ledbury I was to say the least a little exited. We ordered at 8pm. I went for the pepperoni and my wife went with the spicy one. Also ordered a side of garlic bread with cheese. We were told it would be 35 mins. Very polite man on the phone. It arrived at our door 30 mins later piping hot. The delivery driver was polite. Probably one of the best pizza I have tasted. Much better that dominos. The garlic bread was amazing. Was home made. Very garlic, just how I like it. The pizza was tasty and as I said before piping hot. I will definitely be ordering from here again and I would recommend the place to others. Just eaten the most delicious quiche, salad and homemade coleslaw (even also came with chips) for only £8. Best quiche and salad I’ve had in ages. Bustling local ambience, clearly very poly and deservedly so. Also licensed for customers fancying a tipple.

We visited The Market House for a tapas night. The food was beautiful and service excellent. All staff were very friendly. Premises cosy and clean. Definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Ok breakfast but very disappointed to be charged 40p for soya milk really ? when it’s a dietary requirement, it’s a fraction more expensive than cows milk and should be offered as alternative.. won’t be returning

Stopped for lunch when passing through and came across this place. Very pleased we did. 2 coffees, 1 tea - 2 bacon and egg sandwiches, 1 bacon and Brie sandwich and 1 mushrooms on toast. Well visiting Ledbury today my husband and I visited The market house cafeWe ordered 2 full English breakfasts when they arrived they looked delicious upon eating they tasted even better than they looked piping hot fantastic tasting bacon and sausage good slices of black pudding egg perfectly cooked we just couldn’t fault it so anyone visiting this lovely market town visit this friendly well run cafe serving brilliant food x

Haven’t been to the Market House for ages. So today decided to have a coffee there. Glad we did, the staff were delightful and of course the appropriate COVID 19 measures were in place. My wife and I had really great cappuccinos. I also opted for a sausage and egg sandwich. It was perfect indeed. Well done all.

I have visited the café on many occasions and really love their sandwiches and cakes! The staff are friendly and it has a nice atmosphere.I recently tried out the Gin Bar and was impressed with the range of Gins and the the easy ambience. I highly recommend both.

We popped into the Market House as they used to have the best scones in the area. We were very disappointed to find that they had changed supplier and rather than a nice homemade one, we were presented with what seemed a mass produced one that was very stodgy. The clotted cream and jam used to be served in small ramekins but this time came in a soggy paper dish.Very disappointing and probably won't bother again.

Popped in to this local cafe , I believe they ha e recently reopend after the pandemic, the staff were fantastic great layout and beautiful food. I had ordered the lasagne and I must say it is one of the best ones I've tried so far!!! Very clean and tidy place and I highly recommend anyone who is visiting the area to try out this little cafe . I very much look forward to my monthly visits .

Came for lunch on a Monday. Table was wiped for us to sit down, order was taken, but it seemed a while before the food arrived. Not really a problem as we were not in a hurry, but expected the food to be better & warmer than it was after the wait. No one came to us once we'd finished, thinking we'd order coffees but after 10-15 mins and seeing 3 members of staff looking at a phone, we called over for our bill and left. Not sure we'll bother again.

Popped in for afternoon tea and cake. We went to join what appeared to be a queue at the counter and were advised to take a seat and someone would take our order. We sat just opposite the counter but walked out 10-15 minutes later having been totally ignored by all five staff. We were never even offered a menu. A couple who arrived after us were served in the meantime.

We enjoyed a pleasant lunch, with fresh food which was well presented. We enjoyed a good well-chilled bottle of white wine with our lunch; and were looking forward to returning with friends ........and asked about the new evening opening hours. However. when we tried to pay, there was a problem with the card machine. We appreciate that at times this can't be helped, but at no point had we been informed by the staff that there might be a problem. In the end we had to go to get cash to pay! Not great in a town now with very few banks! We could have lived with this had the situation been handled better and we'd not been told that it was "no great hardship"!Shame!

Good food well presented and friendly staff what more do you want and a comfortable environment good portions . There’s lots of places to eat at in Ledbury but not all are as good as here good spot as well

I had one of my friends come to stay with me for a couple of days. We stopped here for the intention of a light brunch which quickly turned into a very relaxed gin indulgent day. The staff and the owner were absolutely superb, so friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent and they have a great selection of Gins. Highly recommended.

Have had good lunches here previously.Today called for afternoon tea and cake. Were taken to a table in a prominent position and given menus. Other people arrived and had their orders taken. Several waitresses went past us, but we were ignored. After several minutes of this, we got up and went elsewhere.

Reluctant to share this as the cafe is already busy....and I don't want to hazard my seat at one of the best breakfast tables in Herefordshire!! Seriously, locally sourced sausage, bacon, bread....you name it. Real home cooked quality served fresh to order. To heck with the health nuts.....have the wonderful fried bread. Lucky I don't live in Ledbury I would be at least a stone heavier. Good coffee, quick service without being rushed. Relax and enjoy.

Haven’t been to the Market House for a very long time, having been tempted by others. But on this wet cold day decided to go in. Had a delicious hot chocolate. Was going to have a sausage sandwich, but an appointment elsewhere meant time was at a premium. So I am going back to taste the delights next time. Can I say the staff where delightful and the premises were nicely decorated and there were some delicious cakes on display. So got to go back.

Lunch again here after not going for awhile, not changed at all, still excellent food, lovely choice, served in a friendly way, , and pleasant surroundings. Most food sourced locally....and it shows! They also sell a few local products, eg sourdough bread, honey, and all good.Strongly recommended

Four of us really enjoyed our breakfasts. Three full English and mine avocado and poached egg on toast. Very friendly and will always book a table for us that's convenient for my husband who has mobility problem.
