The Plough Inn in New Forest

We visited at lunchtime today (it was not busy). We ordered pizzas and chips. The pizzas arrived they were like cardboard with barely any toppings (a large gap between the edge and filling). We had to go and remind them we had ordered chips, they eventually arrived and too be honest looked and tasted like they had been refried VERY EXPENSIVE for such poor quality It’s a lovely setting but could be cleaner. There was a dirty marquee with left over dirty decorations from a weekend event. We won’t be going again!!!!!!!

The car park was almost on arrival and as we hadn’t booked a table for dinner, we were a little worried about getting a meal. We were relieved that they could serve us if we were prepared to wait forty minutes but our diners arrived...

We always come here when staying at bashley caravan park as it’s just down the road, great food and great beer, great for the kids as they have a children’s play area at the end of the beer garden. I would 100% recommend.

We saw the plough recommended on Facebook so headed there for lunch with our little girl today. There was quite a long wait for our meals despite it only being 12o clock and not busy. All of our food was either cold or barely luke warm. This included a roast and two burgers. My Husband asked the chef if he could recook my burger because it was completely pink throughout. He was told it was thoroughly cooked, it just looks that colour...which I have to say I did not agree with. When it came back out he had recooked it with the tortilla chips on it which had gone black so I had to throw them on the grass. The burger was still all pink inside so my husband ate them both and I shared my daughters (cold) roast. Nobody asked us how our food was, you pay before you eat and then you don’t see any staff afterwards.I am so disappointed. I don’t expect to pay £12.50 for a main course that is not hot or in my case edible. The only positive was the play area which my daughter loved.Would not return.

We visited during the hot bank holiday weekend so luckily we reserved a table as the place was packed. Service was excellent. Food was very good. Menu had all your usual pub favourites. The fish platter to start was a big hit and generous. The kids loved playing in the new playground equipment which left us to have a quiet drink. The outdoor garden area is quite large. The kids didn’t want to leave!

A strange turn of events involving a fallen tree and a team effort of our neighbours led to 10 adults and 5 children being treated to breakfast - its on me said neightbour Steve.We arrived en mass at 9am - quickly shown to an extending table which was handy as the numbers grew.Order taken quickly and accurately - food arrived quickly - tea and coffee piping hot - the 'Plough' breakfast was of good quality and for the price including toast it was great.So really good venue, with efficient staff serving quality food - so if in area or you have not been for a while then its eorth a call.Even better if - the large car park is not in a good state with massive pot hole just as you enter - so whilst the food is good grounds maintenance is not so great - strongly advise a few tons of gravel otherwise no matter hiw good the pub is customers will not be happy with damaged wheel - but of course could be a cunning plot not to encourage arroving by car !

Well this pub is hard to beat. Firstly the landlord Steve and staff Amy and Simon were so pleasant drinks served in spotless glasses with all the trimmings, nothing is too much trouble for this pub it welcomes children and animals. The food was excellent, the children’s menu has a good variety finished off with ice cream we will be back to visit in summer to check out the upgraded beer garden and play area.

It was very busy. I had the Madras curry special. Disappointed. Xmas pudding catering pack of two with cream. Wi-Fi didn't work. Veggie option was disappointing. May give it another try. It's handy for a quick drive out from the Premier Inn. So yes, not outstanding food.

We were recommended this pub for dining and we are very grateful for the tip. It would not have been a place we would have passed on the road as it is a bit out of the way but so worthwhile making the effort to locate it. We had a full roast and it was terrific. Meat was tender, yorkers good and all the trimmings up to expectations. Good range of beers to supplement fine food. Will return.

We visit this pub often. Food and service is always good. Their ribs are amazing. Never had a bad meal there. Will be going again soon!

Second time coming here and it never seems to disappoint. Lovely yummy delicious food, great value. One of my boyfriend's and I favourite place to come to eat. Keep up the good work. We will be back, See you soon 😁

We are here all three nights while staying in the area. Managed to get in the first night and liked it so much we booked for the next two nights. All our food was delicious, well cooked and served. We thoroughly recommend The Plough.

Returned here after a years absense and enjoyed another great meal in friendly surroundings. The staff are always friendly and the food is good and reasonable priced. Worth a visit.

Raved about fish and chips here in the past. Never again, booked to secure table, however fish and chips were returned to kitchen, dark brown batter like leather, fish dried out and inedible. Peas dried out. Was told they had changed their fish supplier and had a few complaints. Fish supplier didn’t cook the fish though did he? My husband had pie that was served with a dark brown burnt piece of pastry shoved on the side. He ate his as he was hungry.

We used to get good value for money here, but not anymore. Prices up by about 20% and portions down. A full rack of ribs was 12 ribs this is what you would get anywhere else I have just had their half rib this consisted of just 3 ribs 50% down on portion size and 20% up in price. Used to like this pub and its food but not anymore just another rip off. Will pass this on to all my friends and family cannot recommend this pub anymore. Its a shame it used to be so good.

We had pizza here one evening - it was really good and there was a lot of it! As we were staying at the premier inn nearby we kept coming here for breakfast which was always a great start to the day.

We recently had our wedding reception here 2nd September 2017 and it was an amazing day! We liased with eddy the manager on what we wanted and he listened and delivered everything 100% , the sit down meal we had for our family was absolutely delicious so much so that my husband and I just had to thank the chef personally , the service was top notch and again at the evening bbq and the food was just as tasty thank you eddy and your wonderful colleagues for making our special day so fabulous !! So if you are wanting a lovely relaxed venue with amazing five star food then look no further than THE PLOUGH INN for your special day we highly recommend it !!! Five of us ate at the pub in the garden this lunchtime and we were all delighted with our meals, one lasagne, one burger, two sea food platters and a scampi. All served with a smile by extremely pleasant staff. I live locally but haven't used the Plough for a while, however I'll return soon.

The food was very nice and the portions very generous. Staff was helpful and friendly. We hadn't known the Quiz Night was on that night and the friendly voice from the microphone killed our private conversation each time we started a sentence.

Had an evening without the children so decided to go out. This was the first pub we came across on the road. The food was reasonably priced and excellent. The puddings were great and the staff that looked after us were very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone passing.

We went to this pub mainly to do the quiz which is on every Wednesday evening. We were on holiday so decided to eat before the quiz. We chose our main courses from the specials board but all four meals were very disappointing. Two Cajun salmon with rice - both pieces of salmon were incredibly dry with no sauce. The Madras chicken curry was also very dry and the lamb steak very dry as it didn't come with any gravy. The quiz was great and if we are back in the New Forest again we'll definitely go back to this pub but not to eat!

We were pointed to The Plough by a helpful person at the nearby Premier Inn when we were "too late" for breakfast. Thankfully for us it was a great happenstance food and welcome were brilliant.

Fuimos un viernes a mediodía a finales de julio y nos quedamos muy impresionados. El servicio era excelente y la variedad de comida es bastante extensa, sobre todo para un pub del campo. Pedimos una hamburguesa de cordero en el menú normal y 2 trio de salchichas y puré de las ofertas especiales. La espera era razonable. La comida estaba muy bien presentada, caliente y abundante, pero no demasiado. La hamburguesa de cordero era muy sabroso, servido con queso fundido, una luz de un pan, patatas fritas y ensalada delgado en una tabla de madera. Las salchichas estaban calientes, cocinados y uniformemente a través de doren. Fueron de una textura agradable y sabroso, no excesivamente condimentadas. Me senté en una buena ración de puré de patatas y salsa suave sabroso. Absolutamente nada de lo que quejarme, aparte de que estábamos demasiado lleno para probar un dulce. El precio era razonable.Volvimos al día siguiente, tenía opciones diferentes, de nuevo caliente, muy bien preparado, presentado y buen servicio.Me di cuenta de comentarios variable de la comida en el pub, pero en este, y ocasiones anteriores durante los últimos 12 meses, nunca ha experimentado una comida decepcionante, pero solo comer en el almuerzo.

Registramos este museo después de ir a Sammy Miller cerca. Fantástico menú variado, incluyendo compartir fuentes que podrían tener para uno que siempre es bueno si usted y su preferencia de socios comida varían. Estamos muy local que este pub país pintoresco. Es una buena relación calidad-precio y el personal es muy amable y servicial. El Cordero pierna en romero y cranberry jus era un poco pequeña, pero como un plato principal delicioso! Lado, las verduras y el brócoli, zanahorias: guisantes estaban perfectamente preparado I. e. Ligeramente crujiente. Mi pescado y patatas fritas, patatas fritas fue muy buena y sólida sogginess no creo la cerveza (muy fresca maltratada cod). Mi desierto - una tarta de lima caribe era excepcional, muy inusual. Asegúrate de hambre cuando se visita!

We started by ordering starters which came out after a while and were rather good but it all went down hill from there We had my burger which was badly cooked only slightly warm enought to eat with a bun that you could probably buy from the cheapest shop as it was dry and fell apart just looking at it My partner had a pizza which looked like there wasn't anything on it other than burnt cheese Really I wouldn't bother going again

Reservamos una comida aquí para una noche de concursos y no me decepcionó. Las raciones de comida son grandes, si tienes uno de los compartir bandejas, tengo que entre tres o cuatro, entre dos es lo suficientemente grande para un principal. La comida era excelente.El concurso fue apoyada y suficientemente difícil tener algo real para los expertos en posers nuestro equipo.

Decidimos visitar el arado hace ya 40 años que era nuestro local! Llegamos tarde, no fue más gente ocupada, pero no lo suficiente para el lugar de ser "muertos" pedimos una mesa para 4 y nos dijeron que sólo elija una mesa sin un cartel de "reserva". Después de estar el camarero era muy atento, pidiendo que tome pedir bebidas, luego de traer el menú. Dejando el tiempo suficiente para hacer una elección, con una buena selección, aunque era difícil averiguar el horario menú de noche ya que todo estaba en la carpeta de aperitivos y sandwiches, entrantes para las comidas principales. También una tabla de ofertas que tenía una buena selección. Todos optamos por red distinto que trajeron a la mesa juntos. El resto del personal era atento, comprobando que estábamos bien para bebidas, salsas, etc. La comida era buena y recién cocinado aunque la pechuga de pollo empanadas ordenados por uno de la fiesta fue recocido y ella dijo en seco. Nuestros postres también eran muy buenos, con una selección de platos calientes y fríos. El Plough ha mantenido nuestras expectativas desde nuestra última visita.

He tenido comidas aquí antes y muy satisfechos con la comida. Tiene un aire de viejo mundo sobre el pub y la señora de detrás de la barra es muy amable.Por desgracia nuestras comidas hoy cayó muy por debajo del estándar. Mi pescado y patatas fritas se veía bien, pero el pescado era difícil y en general no es muy agradable. Comida de mi marido estaba también no estándar, ensalada, y generalmente flojo poco atractiva.Espero que era sólo un día.

El Plough Inn fue recomendado y estaban tan a la derecha. Tuvimos un almuerzo de domingo cordero pequeño por £6. 95 cada uno y había más que suficiente. Había un pedazo grande de cordero, patatas asadas, col roja, queso, frijoles verdes coliflor, brócoli, zanahorias, un budín de Yorkshire con un poco de relleno y un poco de menta y salsa de salchicha y salsa de campo. Todo estaba delicioso. Sin duda volveremos.

Otros habían sido en varias ocasiones y recomendado la barredora. Sin embargo, todos coincidimos en que en este día no era muy bueno. Todos teníamos comidas diferentes, pero tenía el mismo problema, patatas y verduras obviamente ha dejado bajo la luz de calor y estaban secos y tibios, con pescado y carne a la más caliente en la parte superior. Pub estaba lleno, así que obviamente popular. Mi dar otra oportunidad, pero no estoy seguro

Not many of these left! No music. No machines. Just a flagstone floor, a dartboard, a bar billiard table and 4 real ales. Open fires in winter. Wins the CAMRA best pub of North Hampshire most years.

Visited for luncheon without booking, no problem, nice table although busy. Good welcome. friendly service throughout. Good menu. Service excellent, dishes well presented and everyone on our table happy. Best Chicken Madras Curry in a pub or Asian restaurant, all the trimmings.

Visitamos como nos alojábamos localmente, el pub era preciosa y tenía comida buena. Llegamos a las 7 los viernes y el restaurante estaba lleno y sólo había un par de mesas gratis en la zona de pub, que pronto fue tan sin llegar temprano o reservar!

Visited the plough inn today at lunch time. It was busy but still gave a great service. We had toasted sandwiches and they were lovely only stopped by for something to eat quickly. Efficient ,polite ,lovely atmosphere and good food.

Me empezó a para el almuerzo aquí con mi madre y nos encanta el personal amable y la comida que vienen aquí a menudo! ! Ambiente agradable con un entorno adecuado pub. La sopa es el mejor que he probado! ! ! El pastel casero es lo que llamo propiamente dicho casero y muy sabroso. El hígado y el tocino con puré es absolutamente deliciosa! ! ! Podría seguir, pero no hay tiempo! ! ! Lo recomiendo encarecidamente! ! ! !

Buena comida, servicio y precio. Menú variado. Ambiente un poco básica, pero es un pub rurual no pretendía ser un restaurante de cinco estrellas. Personal muy amable y servicial. Mucho espacio de aparcamiento.En general quedé impresionado. Fuimos con un grupo pequeño de seis que incluía dos personas mayores tanto con movilidad restringida. El personal era muy atento y paciente con ellos.

Mi amigo y yo encontramos este pub y decidimos quedarnos a cenar ya que el menú parecía genial.Yo tenía el hígado y ella tiene la pierna de cordero, las comidas eran deliciosos. Todos caliente y llena de sabor. La tabla de quesos es tan bonito y bien presentado. El personal era muy servicial y me sentí como un verdadero pub local.Altamente recomendado.

Este pub en sí pone como un pub de rugby. Visitamos para ver deporte en Eng v Ire de ITV. El sonido estaba en el nivel más bajo, la disposición de los asientos era pobre, no tiene atmósfera, nachos fueron quemados sin crema agrió y perder la primera 5 minutos de juego.Para una gran final de golpes, nos fuimos temprano a casa y se puso a para volumen y disfrutar en la comodidad.No vayas a ver eventos deportivos o nachos.

Estábamos en nuestro camino de vuelta a Christchurch después de visitar el Museo del Motor de Beaulieu. Paramos y miramos algunos pubs pero esta buena pinta desde fuera. Un vistazo a través de las ventanas se veía limpio, relajado y ya estaba ocupado en la zona del bar. Aparecimos a mirar el menú y me sorprendió gratamente con opciones para vegetarianos.Disfrutamos de la remolacha y queso de cabra burger - delicioso! 3 bean chili nachos, delicioso! De costa a costa, no estuvo mal, pero las nuevas opciones bosque sabor de helado eran geniales - algo para todos y delicioso. Mi hijo también disfrutamos de la crème brulée.

Me había hablado del pub el día antes y le explicamos que no estábamos seguros de qué hora nos llega. El propietario dijo que no se preocupe, cuando estás cerca de teléfono y podemos comprobar la disponibilidad. Como resultó que pudimos reservar una mesa el viernes 10 de febrero para 7 personas. 30:00h para los cuatro de nosotros. El personal era muy amable y competente. El Ringwood ale era magnífico. Nuestra orden de comida fue tomada rápidamente y llegó rápidamente. Todos los platos fueron excelentes. Nos impresionó tanto que volvimos el domingo por la noche para otra comida.

Tengo muy buenos recuerdos de la dicha pala. Cada verano mi familia y fuimos desde Londres a Hampshire en mi stepdads cortina jaja! 2 hermano y a mí, el hermana pequeña.Fue fantástico! Un niño de la gran humo de Londres huyendo al campo y cerca del mar por 2 semanas. Tuve el mejor momento de mi vida! Un viejo persiguiendo hermosas mariposas siete años por el nuevo bosque toda la tarde. Fue el mejor.Utilizamos para visitar la barredora con frecuencia entonces, la comida siempre era buena, un verdadero ambiente familiar. Mis hermanos y yo solía jugar en el jardín. Había un enorme en la forma de un boot antiguo. Que nunca olvidaré. El arado fue uno de los mejores hoteles en aquel entonces. :)

Tuvimos una comida muy agradable en el hotel Plough Inn con mi esposa y dos hijos, después de un agotador día de turismo en el nuevo bosque. Tras un par de bienvenida, nos metido en algunas costillas sabrosas, que era genial! Esperamos volver en el futuro!

Visitamos el hotel Plough inn como parte de un grupo de 8 - 4 adultos, 4 niños. No habíamos reservado. Al entrar nos saludaron calurosamente y el tamaño del grupo no molestar. Nada de problemas, personal rápidamente poner mesas. Un buen menú con variedad de platos, los niños atendidos. La comida estaba bien preparado y disfrutado por todos los miembros de nuestro grupo. Un buen jardín con zona de juegos para niños, aunque esto no podría ser utilizada por los miembros de nuestro grupo debido a las fuertes lluvias. Muchas plazas de aparcamiento. Bien, ciertamente puedo recomendar.

Situado en la calle, este atractivo influya Inn tiene un montón de exterior y un amplio aparcamiento. Atmósfera cálida y acogedora, con vigas de madera, ladrillo a la vista y una zona de estar con chimenea y periódicos. Buena selección de cervezas. El lunes por la noche fue bastante tranquila. Todo el personal era muy amable y servicial. Nuestra comida de pub estaba muy bien presentado y representaba una buena relación calidad-precio. Cubiertos limpios, cristalería y aseos. Sin duda regresaré.

Vine aquí unas cuantas veces para bebidas mientras en vacaciones y comimos allí una vez. El personal es muy amable y es un agradable pub con ambiente agradable y perros. La comida regular; pedí curry house, que era muy sabroso, pero el acompañamiento pan naan era insípida. Mi marido tenía el hígado para su principal y dijo que estaba delicioso. Comimos allí en una noche de viernes, estaba lleno de familias = ruido niños corriendo - buena área de juego para ellos en el jardín de la cerveza.

It is not our first visit. I organised 12 of us to have a lunch time meal. Table was set for us. Very friendly waitress served us. Wasn't hassled at all. Food was well cooked and we all said we would return.

Guau, guau y, nos fuimos a cenar el jueves 2 de septiembre, y me pareció muy bueno, con mucho para elegir que cenar el viernes su también.Desde las costillas hasta el pescado y la pizza de pescadores de Lima eran fantásticos, 5 de nosotros fuimos así de los 10 platos durante las 2 noches eran simplemente fantástico. El vino era de gran valor con sólo 1 haga para elegir, así que los precios de la misma, sólo me puedo quejar del lugar, de todos los restaurantes visitados a 5 millas de Bashley este fue el mejor, le insto a que visite no le decepcionará.

Fuimos de nuevo y esta vez el servicio estaba bien. Sentamos en un hermoso día y evitamos las costillas pegajosas y tenía ensalada de marisco que agradable y diferente y habría otra vez. Esposa tenía pescado y patatas fritas, que aparentemente era buena. En un día como este el jardín es excelente para los niños.

Fuimos a cenar hace tres semanas mientras se alojan cerca. Tras ordenar nuestra comida, entonces esperamos una hora (tiempo durante el cual aparecieron una notable falta de comidas servidos, a pesar de estar lleno) cuando me preguntó acerca de nuestras comidas, entonces me dijeron que estábamos al lado. De hecho en pocos minutos nuestras comidas nos sirven entrantes y plato principal al mismo tiempo. ¿Por qué en la tierra sin que suponer que cualquier cliente querría todo servido en uno? Luego tuvimos una disculpa la situación se echaron dos miembros de personal en enfermos, llamando seguramente deberíamos haber dicho por lo tanto que habría que esperar bastante? La comida está bien pero no divertido comer dos campos al mismo tiempo. No volveré.

Tuvimos una reunión familiar para el almuerzo y no me puedo quejar, todo el mundo dice lo bien sus comidas eran. Tuve la berenjena canelones con pan de ajo, que era muy sabrosa, la cena con asado de eran muy buenos con brócoli fresco y zanahorias no demasiado cocido. La tabla de quesos muy generoso. Se encargan de los niños, tienen sillas altas. Hay un gran jardín y una zona de juegos. El personal es muy agradable.

En nuestros viajes que buscamos un sitio donde comer.Estar de vacaciones (con 4 niños pequeños) que queríamos un área de juegos, jardín cerrado y buena comida.Nos recibió un personal cálido, tuvimos un proceso sencillo de ordenar. Estábamos tan contentos con la caja jardín cercado con un gran equipo que nuestros niños (edades de 2 a 9), más que felices.A pesar de estar lleno - la comida llegó rápidamente, pedí una lasaña de adultos para los niños, con una porción de verduras.La lasaña era de una gran calidad, las verduras estaba perfectamente preparado. we have been to the plough before, this time was just the same, the food was fantastic, the service was friendly and helpful, great for families, will definetly go again.

Our girls had a lovely time on the play equipment and we enjoyed the beautiful beer garden in the sun. Food was good and reasonably priced but could do with a better choice of food for those who can't eat gluten.

Since changing hands some time back, this has become a really great pub with superb food which is always freshly prepared and piping hot. Good service and good value too.

Nos recomendaron tener una comida aquí por mi hermana que vive cerca y que han intentado y nos pareció que estaba bien.Teníamos una mesa dentro y había un montón de habitación - ya que era una noche soleada fue más concurrido en el exterior. Iréne tenía un gran plato de músculos como un plato principal y nunca había visto tantas en un plato-gi-normous porción. Podría haber sido más caliente pero un sabor delicioso. Mi primera opción de platos principales no estaba disponible (pastel) pero tuve hamburguesa casera con tocino y queso que era abundante y muy sabroso.La camarera fue muy amable y la comida era para esperar unos 20 minutos que estábamos contentos. Buena relación calidad-precio. Antiguo pub agradable interior. Volveremos la próxima vez que visite a mi hermana.

Si quieres estar bastante seguro para conseguir un espacio de estacionamiento, tienen un jardín niños, un extenso menú de pub, este es el lugar para usted. Inconveniente para mí fue que el pub era demasiado grande e impersonal, aunque era bastante vieja antigua, y nos dijeron que cualquier comida tomaría 30 minutos (el pub no estaba lleno) y eran fieles a su palabra! Nuestra comida era lo suficientemente bien preparado y había suficiente. Me explorará un lugar diferente si en el área de nuevo pero estaría encantado de ir de nuevo si tuviera que.

Great place to eat and drink, staff and locals very friendly and helpful. Food excellent, also got a pool table,which we enjoyed having a few games for 50p a game. Truly recommended.

Mucho aparcamiento y muy simpático con los niños. Visitamos para el almuerzo con amigos y niños. Nos presentamos sin reserva y el personal hizo que la habitación para nosotros y sacó algunas mesas juntas. Hay una enorme zona de puerta y zona de juegos para niños. La comida era genial y mi hamburguesa era increíble!! Muy limpio y ordenado, con instalaciones de bebé pub cambiante. Pub ofrece una amplia variedad de bebidas y alimentos y tiene una mesa de billar y dardos. El servicio era muy bueno. Recomiendo visitar este pub de nuevo.

Yet another great evening at The Plough!We booked our meal for 7.30pm so we could join in the quiz as soon as we had finished.The food was excellent for all of us.We all chose different things but all enjoyed what we had very much.The homemade steak and Stilton pie was homemade I should imagine and looked so yummy.My favourite is the half rack of ribs(the full one was a bit too much)this was served with gorgeous chips,salad snd coleslaw.We did stretch to a deserts and although we were stuffed the chocolate cheesecake went down very well.The quiz was the icing on the cake and always happens on a Wednesday.The lady who takes charge of the quiz is so calm and makes it very enjoyable.We will return hopefully to get a better score,keep up the good work.

Queríamos un asado los domingos y buscó.El arado era preservarlas, pero fue increíble.Nuestro medallones de cerdo almuerzos eran tan impresionante. Nos sirvieron muy rapido y todo era casero. Patatas con asado. Con asado de cerdo. Incluso nos dieron buenas hechas a Yorkshire pudines. Nos sirvieron tres verduras, patatas e incluso el relleno. Salsa era un poco aguado, pero muy sabroso.No puedo quejarme de esta comida. Fue excepcional!El pequeño restaurante estaba adornada por dentro con bunting. Muy buen gusto y de estilo campestre. Hicimos la reserva, buen trabajo, casi cada mesa estaba reservada.El personal era atento y amable. Muy impresionado. Estupenda relación calidad-precio, pero no para un flan porque nuestras comidas eran tan sustancial. Es un lugar increíble. Sin duda visitaremos la próxima vez que viaje desde Liverpool en julio.

Paramos aquí para la cena y qué decepción! Pinchos de pollo tikka tuve mi pareja y tenía las croquetas de cangrejo. El pollo estaba ya seco como las botas viejas para decir lo menos, y la guarnición de ensaladas era irresistible. Mis socios de pasteles de cangrejo habían frito y hecha. Para el principal pedí el costillar y mi compañero tenía una lasaña de carne. Las costillas estaban la licitación, pero la salsa barbacoa era insípido, he probado mejor de Islandia. La lasaña de carne apenas comestible, servido con ensalada y pan de ajo. Tenía una pinta de soda y cal, mi compañero tenía una pinta de Guinness, la factura era de £39.85, una pérdida de dinero. Siempre dejo propina del 10% de la factura, pero en esta ocasión me negué el punto en blanco para dejar una propina. Yo no lo siento por el personal, pero siento que ya había perdido casi 40 libras. Yo diría que evitar a toda costa, hay muchos lugares bonitos en el bosque nuevo para comer. Sin duda volvería nunca.

El restaurante nos pareció tranquilo y limpio y el personal amable y eficiente. La comida era traído rápidamente y estaba delicioso. Tuvimos el besugo y la barredora tarta. Ambos estaban bien caliente, bien presentado y muy sabroso. Planeamos volver de nuevo.

Had a great meal here, the portions were large and the food all freshly prepared and cooked. Very good service from the bar/waiting staff especially Ellie who was great. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Caminé de Hordle y tenía ganas de comer en el arado ya que había recomendado a mí!? El enfoque fuera no era buena, la cerveza estaba bien y pedí una mesa con algo de luz para leer, había algunos! (reservado?) pero me ofrecieron 3 mesas bastante oscuros, pedí un sobresaliente y patatas, para ser justos, llegó bastante rápido, las patatas fritas eran buenos, los guisantes eran tepidish pero el sobresaliente tuvimos un par de 'cosas buenas' de cartílago! Y, en general, parecía ser más seco? Posiblemente recalentados de una comida anterior? Al doblar sobre el tomate que ni siquiera había eliminado el pedúnculo para cocinar! Me preguntaron cuando fui a pagar si disfrutamos de la comida y cuando señalamos... Silencio? Yo no lo recomendaría! Con un poco de esfuerzo podría ser bueno!

Came across this pub by chance one sunny May afternoon, large car park with good access in and out from the road, pub had some good cask beers, and a large garden with climbing frame, we did not eat at the pub but we did see the food and it looked good, and a good range of food available on the menu.

This is now my 4th visit. Each time the food has been greAt and a great welcome. Even had a small joke about being ignored when in fact I wasn't. A very nice place to be.

Personal amable y servicial pero pedí mejillones, que llegó tibia, la camarera se ofreció amablemente a traerme otra variedad de alimentos. Tuve la seabream que estaba bien, pero no mucho sabor. Mi hijo tenía pollo burger stack que dijo que era genial.Pub acogedor con una gran zona de jardín. Perros.

Was amazing!!! Service was outstanding despite having 3 big tables in to eat. I was worried this would mean we would br waiting longer but we didn't. Food was also great my daughter and myself enjoyed our meals.

Pleasant pub, clean and tidy. Not particularly busy the lunchtime we visited, the staff were pleasant and the food tasty and well presented. Good choice of fare and numerous specials. Plenty of car parking.

Visited this pub last week, the girl at the bar was very friendly and nice, all going well, I went to bar to order food and I decided on the ham, egg and chips, I asked if possible to have a sausage and barman stated, sorry they don't do sausages, even though they have a trio of sausages and a mixed grill including sausage on menu! I don't mind the fact that they can't add but why lie about it! Food was good but won't be returning!

Este es un pub inglés maravilloso, con buena comida y un personal muy amable. El entorno en la New Forest es perfecta, con mucho espacio de aparcamiento fuera de la calle disponible. Una reserva es recomendable, ya que es merecidamente ocupado. Disfrutamos de un almuerzo y una cena y tenía la mejor tiempo y comidas en ambas ocasiones. La cocina está produciendo muy buena comida a un precio razonable y el personal, especialmente Sue, hizo que la experiencia muy agradable. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Old wooden beams, low ceiling (5'11) , very good evening menu.Had the beef stew with dumplings and was very tasty.The hunters chicken was also well liked.The chili was a small portion and came with a lot of rice and tortilla chips (not a good choice).It was not very warm in the dining room would suggest heavy sweater and boots.Service was a bit slow.

Fuimos a New Forest para el Año Nuevo, y lo que unas vacaciones maravillosas. Queríamos ir a un pub familiar recomendado para una cena y nuestro hotel el arado. No nos defraudó.Era un cálido acogedor pub, fue muy concurrido, así que me alegro de que había reservado. Todas las comidas eran casera y bien presentada. Las opciones eran geniales para todos los niños menú tenía una buena variedad. Mi marido tenía el estofado, tuve una lasaña, mi amigo tenía peces + patatas fritas y su carne de mi marido. ¡Qué festín. Por desgracia se quedaron sin costillas pero la comida era muy sabrosa y todos lo platos.El personal era amable, conversador y servicial siempre a mano.
