The Pie Stop Cafe in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

I believe this cafe is now closed permanently real shame as the food was great and good price easy to get to off the A30 if anyone can reccomend another off A30 would be grateful

This cafe has now closed for good after 23 years of trading which was a great sham

Typical greasy spoon cafe.Very reasonably priced food and generous portion sizes.The staff were friendly.Unfortunately food was served on cold plates.Mugs of tea were fine.

Lovely little spot - How cafes used to be, Very friendly and clean. Having work done so the guys on the roof had to tell us how to get in but even they were friendly. Good food, portions and price - will be back!

Stopped in whilst waiting for our car to be done at the garage, we both had baguettes, one sausage and egg and one bacon and egg. Lovely fresh bread and the eggs were runny. Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Typical of the great cafes of the past. If you are looking for a stop on your journey it’s less than a mile off the main A30 or live locally and want a decent breakfast I would heartily recommend this place. Even the fried bread was perfect. Staff were friendly and accommodating and food was quick, hot and very tasty. Thanks to all involved.

Wow after dreading a long drive home and searching, what a find , great staff and service prompt fresh breakfast cooked ! Nothing to much bother . Tucked in the back of a industrial park . Mandie plus 3 from Kent

Love it here! The best brekkie in town. Need I say more :) Great price, they even knock up a mini plate for our toddler. We never leave feeling hungry. All the staff are lovely.

We have eaten here several times. And until recently, never had a complaint. But the last two breakfasts we have had, have had elements that have been cold.

Always a great breakfast. Much a transport/trading estate cafe which we would seek out in any town for good value whilst on our travels. Lovely!

Friendly staff, with an affordable menu. Serves breakfast all day. My double bacon cheeseburger did have a raw patty mind.

We came here as it just caught our eye as we drove past, it was a lot nicer inside than expected judging by the outside, basically is a really busy truckers grub type place with the tables and chairs you’d expect in a place like this. Menu didn’t disappoint, very good value for a cheeky fry up and a good cuppa tea. Staff were really nice, looks like a family run place, you can feel the vibe that the people coming are repeat people that come back every week which is nice. Good local spot for a greasy spoon cafe. Didn’t regret the visit. Great hash browns.

We regularly visit here, always happy with the service everytime. Staff and owners are extremely friendly, food is absolutely delicious , my kids love it here. The tea was undrinkable, think the urn needs a descale! Breakfast less than average.

Handy place just off the A30. Plenty of parking. Good selection at reasonable prices. Made our Cavalier dog welcome. Looking to call again in June. Shame it closes at 2pm.

Amazing tasty food came quickly . Staff really helpful. Great value for money. I had the No '3 breakfast... was too much for me (eyes bigger than belly) and it was only £9. With toast on the side and a tea or coffee. Would definitely recommend . Well done Pie Stop

Love Pie Stop. Great Staff, Great Grub, Great Prices. This is not fine dining, but for good honest service, with really friendly Staff, and a spotlessly clean premises, with easy parking it's hard to beat.

Just what you want and expect from a breakfast cafe. We stopped on our long journey to the Lizard. The food was plentiful and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I think l have probably tried everything on this menu at one time or another and have never been loosed down by the food or the staff

Useful location and nice staff. Pretty basic but tasty food. Despite the name the pies are not home made. So don't expect gourmet.

Excellent service and great food

First time back here since the pandemic started and yes it’s a bit different in how things work in the sense that you don’t do your own toast now and still a one way system even though the restrictions have ended, the service is still exceptional and the food hit the spot! Orders the number 2 breakfast and the food was perfect! Only thing I would say is the apple and orange juice were warm since it is a very hot day so maybe keeping them in the fridge or somewhere cooler would have been a nice touch.
