There is so much potential here, however it's not in the best spot and the food is just about "OK" - to be fair I wasn't expecting michelin stars and I understand the need to keep costs down - but it needs to be balanced and it currently isn't. Working more closely withthe Maize Maze may help them attract more people which would then help to improve the overall offering and quality. But for now, it's ok for a cheapish lunchtime snack with the kids.

Cost and very clean interior. Friendly team and a great menu with something for everyone; popular with locals and day trippers alike. Excellent breakfast!

A good choice of food at a very reasonable price. Good friendly service. My husband and I popped in for lunch , bacon and camembert baguette with salad and crisps and a latte. Coffee was served piping hot andvreally nice. Baguette was delicious. We were both really impressed and will definitely go back again to try the breakfast

Lovely tasty breakfast with fresh and locally sourced meat and a tea or coffee in with the price . Easy parking and friendly fast service . Top marks .

Kim and her sister catered the refreshments after my brother's funeral. From first contact - nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond with all the arrangements. They visited the location where they were to set up in advance, arrived early on the day and made all preparations. The food provided was delicious and good value. They cleared away afterwards and left the place as they had found it. Kim was also very pleasant to deal with throughout and there were a number of thoughtful add ons which they did not charge for (such as leaving packets of forget me not seeds on the tables for people to take away and plant in memory). Full marks - very happy to recommend them for any outside catering requirements.

Amazing little find. Stopped off here before pumpkin picking and what a gem of a place. Great personal touches, clean establishment, friendly staff and great products.

Had Sunday lunch with my family. Really lovely food. Very clean and tidy cafe with very lovely staff. I would rate this very highly.

We went for afternoon tea, Myself, my daughters and my mother. The waitresses were attentive, food delicious and plentiful. Catered for my daughters Gluten Free. Definitely book ahead. We arrived and it was all set up for us. Really couldn't wish for better.

Just had a amazing breakfast all freshly cooked and sourced from local butcher’s. Have just recently moved to the area and have tried a few places and can honestly say you would not be disappointed with the food and felt very welcomed thanks again and will definitely be returning.

OMG this was the most tastiest breakfast ever and such excellent value for money. We had lunch here in July which was amazing so when we returned to the area this weekend we opted to try the breakfast and was definately not disappointed. We come each year and stay at New Beach Caravan Park and will be returning to The Picnic Hut without a doubt next time we are staying. Staff very friendly and helpful - food would be given higher than 5 stars if we could.

I came here with my husband and was very impressed as I hadn’t been here before. The food was very delicious and the cakes were looking to good,I had to take some home and they were so yummy 😋. The staff were very friendly and made conversations with every customer that came in. I will definitely be back and I will recommend to my friends and family. —thankyou

Well what can I say a beautiful little tea room that has so much to offer myself and my family came here today was highly recommended by a local resident,so glad we came back Was greeded by friendly staff we had a lovely afternoon tea cakes was amazing will definitely return

We visited with our grandchildren who have intolerances and the staff were very accommodating, using coloured napkins so staff could let us know what was gluten/dairy free. It was a busy day and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The food was well presented and tasted delicious. It was clean and very spacious with great decor. Very fitting to the farm environment. The picnic huts out the back garden are in a beautiful location. We will definitely be back.
