Absolutely amazing food extremely worth the money would 1 million percent come again chef very humble and polite and all staff friendly and meals look a bit pricey but 💯 percent worth it delicious eat here every day

Couldn’t fault service but the food was awful. Starter overcooked, main over salted and dessert no taste Sparkling wine was a winner tho

I was here recently and was very pleased to be served by Jackie. I have been served by her before and her attention to detail is second to none. So incredibly attentive and helpful. I was with my grandchildren and she gave them advice on what exactly the food choices were for them to choose their meals and she was spot on for both counts. They thoroughly enjoyed their meals as did the rest of the family. She is a credit to your company, we will certainly be coming back very soon...

What a terrible lunch !!! l have been here many times but not for some time experience has been very good in the past But today it was a joke each time we asked for something on the menu story not available my friend then asked for gammon &eggs sorry no eggs but you can have pineapple he asked for skinny chips the gammon came like rubber the pineapple impossible to cut and no skinny chips other friend chips cold my salad was wilted The deserts sorry only two left crème brûlée the sugar placed on top not caramelised the fresh fruit tin peach 3 blueberries 2 raspberries l then said to the waitress why do you not have hardly anything on the menu her rude response ( We had a busy weekend and it’s Monday you know we haven’t got our delivery yet all restaurants have this problem) l then said l have been in the business for many years and no this is not normal not recommended lovely setting food terrible

My wife visited with her 92 year old mother and other family members on a midweek evening in June. Arriving at 7pm, no food was brought to the table until 8.20pm. By 9.10pm it was clear that there was no time for pudding as the staff were closing up. At no time did anyone apologise for the very poor slow service or various items on the menu not being available. My wife did complete a survey request sent to her online but the response did not acknowledge or address any of the service issues. It's not the fault of the people working at The Pheasant if there aren't enough of them and they don't get trained properly, or M&B the owners don't stock the menu properly.

It was a last minute decision to go out so we picked the Pheasant, having had a good meal there before, and we certainly werent disappointed. It was quite early but there was still a few tables available. Liv couldnt have been more accommodating and sat us in a nice quiet corner. The 2 waitresses that served us , Olivia and Hannah were really nice, they took our order quickly and our drinks arrived a couple of minutes after we ordered them ! I ordered sea bass and my wife had the goats cheese and sticky chicken ( she doe love a sticky chicken! ) both on the starter menu but all the food came together and didnt take too long to arrive. We had the mini dessert and hot drinks...a prefect finish to what was a really nice early dinner. We will definately be back. Thanks to all.

Location is really nice and the restaurant inside is set out well , with all staff very attentive. Ordered two parfait, a sticky chicken, mushroom for starters which we was all happy with, the parfait in particular was lovely.Mains unfortunately wasn’t received in the same manner, two rotisserie chicken which came in 2 pieces which didn’t present well and very dry this was surprising as it was the leg & thigh. The lamb was cooked well but for the price was like a game of cluedo trying to find any lamb on the plate.

Really enjoyed a nice dinner here, service was amazing too. We had the pork belly and the pie, we both really enjoyed our food and the Christmas decorations looked lovely. Will be returning!

Went for an early evening meal with the family, staff were all very welcoming and the food was spot on. My Steak was cooked perfectly and the rest of the family enjoyed theirs too. Highly recommend 👌

We invited friends with us and they had a very good experience food lovely, nice and cozy with fires 🔥 blazing, clean all around they will go again most definitely.

Sunday tea time at 5oclock, 4Adults 1 child 8 We all pick our meals only to be told only 1 meal they had so we all chose a different meal again to be told they had ran out, it felt like they only wanted people to have the roast dinner, I never go out to have a roast dinner. The food was average and extremely over priced, won’t be going again. Even the portion of Mac and cheese was a disgrace of a size 🙈. We came away still feeling hungry.

Served by Michelle and Molly- both really pleasant and welcoming. Ordered from the set lunch menu; no complaints on the food and the chef (flow?) cooked the steaks for our steak sandwiches just as we requested. All and all a nice afternoon with good food and a relaxed atmosphere.

Very friendly staff, Michelle served us start to finish. Very helpful and welcoming. Food was nice and fairly priced. Nice and clean. Will definitely return. Party of 6, Saturday early evening.

When my wife and I arrived there was no-one on the reception desk so we had to wait before any one showed up. We were eventually shown to a table. After a while the other half of our group showed up. We were given the menus. I was given a taste of the 2 beers and we ordered drinks. It was a while later before the food order was taken. The food eventually turned up. The restaurant was not very busy. I feel that the staff were not very attentive to the customers as they kept disappearing for ages before showing up in the restaurant. The staff were nice people they even gave my wife a small cake with a candle on for her birthday. We did like the location but we thought the food was way overpriced.

Went for a meal at this establishment meal was average, overpriced as we're the drinks 3.50 for a bottle of water 3.45 for a coke we also had a diabetic with us we waited for about three quarters of an hour before our main turned up we asked the person that served us to make sure you bring out a desert within ten to fifteen minutes so that the diabetic can have both main and desert more or less together the waiter said not a problem but he didn't return to the table for another 45 to 50 minutes later to collect main dishes then said I may as well bring all the deserts together so I said you may as well now as he made an excuse about something going on in kitchen then it took another 10 minutes to receive the desert very slow service not happy that the request for a desert for my diabetic grandson was not carried out don't think I will be visiting this establishment again
