Expanded Wetherspoons with 2floors & a rather nice roof terrace. The usual Wetherspoons menu but the food quality ( we had Thursday night curries ) was good ;eg the food was hot(!) Unlike some we have visited. Most staff we friendly or at least professional. Okay beer choices. Free WiFi. A lift is available to use . Very handy for the bus stops just outside. Good too for the Cinema just up the road & nearby shops too .

Ordered steak and kidney pudding with red wine gravy, the pudding itself was very dry no filling pastry dried out. I spoke to the server who told me thats how it is. Again when they cleared the table i told the server the pudfing was dry and thats why i had left it, the server just ignored me and took the plates away

Ate here every day, getting a meal + a pint for around £13. In comparison, fish 'n chips and a coke at lands end was £23. No complaints 👌

Been to a few 'spoons' in my travels and this is probably the biggest yet. Lovely place. The staff was friendly and courteous. I ordered the ultimate burger and some chicken wings and they were absolutely delicious. Knocked it back with some local Cornish cloudy cider. Which I wish they sold in my local spoons. Well worth the visit.

Enjoyed a drink on a very hot afternoon. The atmosphere was pleasant and the toilets were immaculate. Can’t say that the staff looked very happy. No smiles! It certainly served a very useful purpose though.

We popped in too late for the Fiesta Brunch and decided to try the new Korean? chilli meal. I was seduced by a picture of what looked like a yummy chicken meal with chilli and coriander and a spicy sauce. I had not looked properly though as it came with chips. Sadly we did not enjoy the meal. It was not warm enough and the chips were soggy. Though the chicken was nicely spiced the fact that it had not been cooked properly made it a big disappointment. We were not asked for feedback, but when our dishes were collected my partner explained our experience We regretted coming here as we could have eaten elsewhere on the Moor probably for the same money or for a bit more. It really did not work and the Packet needs to review how this is cooked. Personally I found the addition of chips rather revolting. It's cheap food and it showed. Service is friendly enough. It was not busy when we came at about 2pm

Have just had a traditional breakfast in Wetherspoons in Falmouth... £3.14 !! ... how do they do that ?... and it was excellent... and £1.04 for refillable coffee .. can't be beaten for value .

A typical Wetherspoons never enough staff on the bar and boring menu which is getting very expensive this could be the reason why it was not as busy and not many customers eating.

Maybe just for a drink..and the meal price is cheap.

A tastefully converted, what I presume was once a picture house, in the sympathetic Wetherspoon tradition. Has the added advantage of a first floor bar and roof top beer garden, somewhat unique and well worth a visit .

As ever the service was great the food was excellent and really well prepared the staff are friendly and attentive and the added feature of the rooftop terrace was a welcome surprise

It has you typical regular customers during the day, but in the evening and weekend it comes alive with a bustling array of students and locals. Great atmosphere and excellent staff

Eaten in here lots of times. Service very quick and always vfm. Not going to get any Michelin stars, but that's not what they're about and you're not paying those prices. It's good honest food and drink.

A great selection of drinks, which the (being politically correct) individual at the bar couldn't serve me because they couldn't find 'Twin Fin' rum on the system. A bottle 3/4 full! I'm guessing really the company don't care, and this is sadly reflected in the staff!

Stopped here for breakfast during a bit of a foodie trip having visited a couple of Michelin guide restaurants over the previous days. I wasn’t expecting much. It was cheap and convenient, but it’s a Wetherspoons. Honestly it was a top breakfast. The fried egg was perfectly cooked and so was the black pudding, which is so often served as an overcooked lump. Couldn’t fault it.

A reasonable Spoons in the heart of town. Had a quiet drink with some other tourists and moved on.

It's a wetherspoons, can't expect much. Aside from that, lovely staff, fast and polite service and a decent sized outdoor area for smokers. If you don't like students, avoid here especially on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. If you are a student, it's a lovely place for cheap drinks.

I went in to have lunch with my 21 year old son, unfortunately he didn't have any ID as we had been kayaking. When challenged I did point out he was my son and 21 yes old they were not interested. I also pointed out that it's perfectly legal to have 1 beer with a meal even at age 16 so shouldn't be an issue.again not interested.when I asked for the manager a girl arrived claiming to sort of be a manager!! Either you are or you aren't!!!!. When I looked for a compromise and asked if he could have a non alcoholic drink instead I was told yes if I go to the bar and buy one even though I had already paid for 1 drink that these job worths wouldn't let him have. No interest in customer service, no interest in creating a positive experience for customers and even though I suggested a compromise not interested in delivering one. Come on Wetherspoon you are in the hospitality business how about employing someone that is interested in delivery some.

Really nice place, very spacious

Great food, good value for money. Had breakfast there and it was really nice. I would recommend the top up coffee, you can have unlimited refills. I would go again.

It's a Wetherspoons,got a nice roof terrace, but like most 'spoons' it's a bit souless but cheap food and drink make up form that I suppose.

It's a 'Spoons so the drinks range will be good and the food of a consistent quality. This one has a roof terrace, netted to keep out the gulls. Service was quick, especially on the app. A lift means even the less mobile can get to the roof and upper floors even though the accessible facilities are on the ground floor

Me and my partner visited yesterday afternoon around 3sh it was quiet We went to the first floor and found seating by the window which has a nice view over looking town Neither of us had our phones as we would usually order by the app,we went to the bar ans a young guy took out order which was super easy he was friendly and polite We didn't wait long for food at all we had the 3 plates for 17.75 I think it cost we had a spicy meat feast pizza which was hot and tasty we had loaded chips again hot and we had chicken wings we couldn't fault the food at all All the staff we came across were polite and friendly no complaints after the reviews I've read I don't know if we just got lucky this time

In falmouth for holiday wetherspoons drinks £2.50 to£3.00 cheaper than any where else in cornwall a new pub good staff and food if you want value use the Packet Station in the town centre

The food was excellent and hot. We had a great time. Wetherspoons is what it is but some are better than others. This is worth a visit

Low quality of food and drinks...

As with all Spoons staff the attitude can be variable, but on our week stay, the majority were effective and efficient. Food and drinks were delivered quickly and in under 10mins. Food was always hot even when we were on the top floor terrace. Standard Spoons menu and good quality drinks at reasonable prices.

Worst mixed grill I have had at any wetherspoons. Tough meats cold chips. Waitress unsympathetic quite rude. Best I have had George Meeting House Exeter and Royal Hop Pole Tewkesbury and Winbourne Minster The Man In The Wall.

Clean cheap drinks good atmosphere

Classic’Spoons; a characterful building well preserved, immaculate toilets. Decent food, world class variety of drinks, and despite not being at all busy (wet Sunday afternoon), the staff were rushing round cleaning tables and collecting glasses on the double.

I think that some of the staff need to mind their own business and stay out of people’s personal conversations. I also think that their serving staff should stick to serving customers and not act like overzealous wannabe security guards. I don’t know if they get a lot of trouble at this place, but some of the staff seem a little to eager to lay down the law when it’s not needed. I certainly won’t be going back.

The usual weather spoons good value

All fine bar the fact that we believe the burger (classic burger) was 'off'/tasted bad and whilst only half was eaten and we did report it, today's bad stomach ache suggests it was off.

8 hour drive , our family of 8 needed to rest , relax and eat . I did make a critical error asking the manager if chips came with a Deli deal ( as our budget is low but was clearly reminded about cost of living and not her fault , I really had made a light remark about price increases and yes my rent and bills have doubled too !!) £108 bill on the app for food and drink ( pained to return to the bars a bit winded ) Our drinks were delivered , our second round as first were ordered happily at the bar and ID requested and in the case of my 29 year old bearded married son in law , no ID , drink removed We did feel it was intended Please be aware they are under no obligation to refund or replace removed drinks Food was eaten , it was fine but really ruined our little break away collecting a younger (20) daughter from university We all are struggling in current conditions

Standard spoons, toilets always in orbit. 1 question though to spoons... why is there a cctv camera in the gents toilet? I understand toilets things happen, drugs/fights/vandalism. But is it legal to have cctv monitoring inside the toilet? Bit weird if you ask me

Called in here on Saturday morning for breakfast. It was nice and quiet but it was early. Found a table by the window upstairs and ordered on the app. Quick and friendly service and the food was served on hot plates. Delicious breakfast, better than we had expected.

I like this branch of 'Spoons. It's improved with the facelift. There is now a nicely finished roof terrace, so when the weather improves...... I had intended to have a snack whilst there killing 30 mins before an event elsewhere, however the menu on the till turned out to be very testing to navigate, so I cancelled that and had a hot drink instead.

Good efficient friendly service with decent food and drink.

Spoons is a nice place especially for students but there are a bunch of downsides: First of all there has been trouble since the start of my first year with people getting spiked and feeling extremely unsafe, really busy atmosphere and difficult to get a table, sometimes doesn't accept card which is difficult for students, prices aren't the best, rude and unfriendly bouncers, oh and definitely avoid the pasta here. It is good to start your night out here though and great with a big group of friends (if you're able to get a table) but please watch your drink and never leave it unattended.

The range of food and drinks ate great. Lots of room and a roof top with good views. It also has a lift.

Great place for food and resonably priced on drinks visit there quite often

We found Wetherspoons a generally pleasant and easy place to eat. We ordered via the app, which is quick and easy to use. The seating is well set out, with plenty of space between tables so you don't feel to crammed in. Food is of typical fast food pub style, but hot and we have not yet had a bad meal for the money here. Staff are attentive and plentiful. It is found that this particular place does seem popular with students, due to the universities nearby, so don't expect to be alone or come here for the quiet ambience. We have dined at this place more than once for ease and convenience. Disabled access to the front and smoking area outside at the back. There is a bar on both levels with good street views over Falmouth Moore. Bus and taxi stop immediately outside, parking opposite but only a limited amount, a larger car park is around the corner up the hill to the left.

Went here for lunch while in Falmouth. Staff were friendly and polite the food arrived in a reasonable time and was hot. Food was very tasty and a good price with a drink. Yet again Wetherspoons offered good pub food at a good price. Well done keep this up.

The lager, and sometimes the other tap beers, repeatedly taste like cleaning fluid in the upstairs bar! Every visit I have to take a beer back and the bar staff always say they will try ‘another line’. There is never an explanation as to why this happens. Last night my wife had a Worthingtons and the taste was vile. The ‘team leader’ said for me to have something else, rather than offering a Worthingtons up from the bottom bar. They made me pay extra for something else. I think it is clear that they get the ratio of cleaning fluid incorrect in the top bar and it is tainting the lines. Can somebody, please, sort this out!?

Nice Weatherspoons in Falmouth but more expensive than other Weatherspoons around,not sure why. Food is quick and nice. Good staff

Went for dinner. Chose the five-bean chilli (£12 incl drink). Which was nice enough but the portion size was like a starter! Still hungry. Will have to go to the chippy. And I'm not a big ravenous bloke. Tiny portions. Wish I had taken a photo. Pointing this out, in response to the ubiquitous question "everything ok?" got me absolutely nowhere. In fact close to being banned I suspect... you know, "zero tolerance of abuse of staff " I only answered your question: "Everything ok...?" No, not ok actually. I'm still hungry!!

AVOID! We went in to the restaurant for a meal and some drinks for Christmas Eve. We ordered 4 drinks, and had one of our teenage daughters with us who was not drinking any alcohol. The very rude manager came over to our table and told us that she would need to watch us drink our drinks to ensure there is no drinking. She said this in a very confrontational manner and told us she would lose her job otherwise. This meant our drink was had under the watch of the manager who showed no friendliness or warmth to any of our family. She then proceeded to lie and say that our daughter had had a sip of my partners drink and called one of the security guards over to confiscate the drink that we had already paid for. After bringing us over our food she slammed it down on the table and did not show any manners towards us. After bringing over our food she then took it upon herself to come over to our family and call us “embarassing” and said that we should pay a fine of “£25,000” on her behalf. Despite us just wanting to finish our meal and leave, she then went over to security once again and advised that we needed to be escorted out within 15 minutes. Considering this was a mother and father with their 2 daughters, who were polite throughout, I found this ridiculous. We come for a Christmas Eve meal every year and have never been faced with such rudeness and impoliteness. Under no circumstances should a manager be calling a family of customers “embarassing” before making false claims of threat to security. Especially considering we are both in our 60s, and daughters in their early 20s. Families please avoid this place at all costs - even Christmas will not change the lack of basic manners of the staff. Disgusting.
