The Outdoor Inn in Cheltenham

We were very excited to go to the outdoor inn, being a fresh bar to Cheltenham. Unfortunately, as much as the staff seemed friendly.. the managers or owners (not sure) were not… they were rude to people (all be it customers who had had too many drinks!) and seemed arrogant. Drinks prices are okay for Cheltenham, but we feel a little like we wasted a couple of hours going here, where we could have gone elsewhere and quite frankly received better customer service. I wish them well, but I will not be going again and would advise pekoe to only go if they can bank on nice weather, and at a last resort!

Overall a nice experience. Drinks were a little expensive - but understandable in the current climate, so props to you all for surviving in these times. Outdoor seating is always difficult to handle. Our heater appeared to be broken on one side, so our entire party couldn’t appreciate the measures put in place. Service was pleasant and cheeky - the perfect boost post lockdown! Love this place! It’s so cute and welcoming. Was served by a lovely girl called mollie who made us feel very welcome and helped us decide what to drink :)

I have been here a few times now and every time I come the staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Emma and Molly! Nothing is too much trouble and they always make us feel welcome. Great range of drinks and not too pricey! Lovely set up and great music! Highly recommend.

Went here last weekends for a friends 30th birthday, all the staff were so friendly and accommodating especially Izzy who really made our night and had time for us even though it was so busy! They even had live music which was great fun!

My friend booked us a “cube” as we thought it looked fun, and had heard a few good things about the Outdoor inn. Safe to say- I cannot reciprocate. £33 for a table booking, even during the current Covid situation is unnecessary, especially considering this makes the first 6 drinks actually more expensive!!! Staff were also a let down, apart from Kira (apologies if I have miss-spelt!). Reading a preview bad review, someone described them as pretentious: they hit the nail on the head! The managers or owners just seemed interested in themselves and one was actually quite rude. I or my friends won’t be going again, we will be booking to places which don’t charge for a table.

Visited The Outdoor Inn with a couple of friends last week. It has a great atmosphere, with live music and very reasonably priced drinks. The staff were all really helpful and friendly, with good service provided throughout our visit! We all agreed we’d definitely go back and I can certainly recommend visiting if you’re in Cheltenham and looking for somewhere to relax with a few drinks.

Really great idea for a pub, the music was brilliant and the bar staff were really attentive. Looking forward to going back again!

We went here for a belated birthday celebration and couldn’t have asked for a better night! Great atmosphere, good array of drinks and the staff we’re all really friendly and helpful. Will 100% be returning for some more drinks this summer!

Heard nice things about the place, but for £33 a table it’s just seemed a bit pretentious. Owners seemed fairly friendly but we won’t be going there again unfortunately!

Stopped in for a few pints whilst in town visiting a friend and ended up staying all night the place was so great. Sensational atmosphere and service. Shout out to Harry the manager, who personally made sure we were looked after the whole evening. We'll definitely be back next time.

A staff member was extremely rude and snooty to us. It was such a shame as I had heard good things, however will certainly not be returning.

Was gonna go outdoor inn as heard good things but soon as I saw price for a table I thought I wud go somewhere else. Overpriced

Great night in the Pods, so good to be out out but in a lovely covered pod with heating and its own speaker for you to hook up your own music, service was very quick and easy using the online service and lovely pizzas served...

Great and fun place in the heart of cheltenham, the pods are great for winter and the staff are awesome !

Absolutely lovely evening at the outdoor inn. Ethan (I think!) was super helpful. This will be my favourite spot come winter. So cosy in the pods and drinks are very reasonably priced!

We spent Saturday afternoon at the Outdoor Inn and had a great time. Joe welcomed and served us during our visit. We were lucky to be there for The Indian Guy pop up tent. The food was exceptional and all vegan (we are eat eaters)...

Exellent company with partner. Brilliant prices and highly recomend people visiting here. The staff are amazing and chatty good vibes.
