Staying in a cabin on site for a fishing match , good food & nice restaurant in a great location (walking distance 😁) The men had steaks and my meal was a lot of good but delicious

We’ve visited 3 times now and every single time at least 1 meal has been missing from the order and someone is left sat without any food while everyone else eats. Not sure how hard it is to get the order right. Food that did arrive was over cooked/verging on burnt. We won’t be giving it a 4th chance.

Booked a table for lunch at 3pm, got a phone call at 11am asking if I could come at 2 instead because they had no more bookings and wanted to close the kitchen early. If they had made up a better excuse I may have changed my mind, funny things is it was a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Called for lunch last Friday as we happened to be passing and saw their sign at the end of the lane. This is a new building - modern, clean and well designed. The menu is adequate without being too extensive and what we had was delicious, well presented and reasonably priced. The service was impeccable, friendly and efficient. A really lovely place to eat and we'll certainly be back for more very soon.

Excellent cafe. Steak nights on Friday each month were rather special. Fabulous breakfast and cafe. Brilliant locally sourced and home made produce. Well run and fabulous venue. Will be missed

Went to our local for a quiet drink with friends one of which used to live and work there. Received a very surprisingly hostile welcome from the land lady who left me confused and frightened. Extremely aggressive demeanour and highly threatening. Nothing like the spread used to be. The spread was always a friendly local pub, it seems as though those days are gone.

Lovely carvery meal at Arcadia near Stokesley today. Unfortunately the inner automatic door remained open so when the outer door opened everyone in the lower floor area was subjected to cold air from outside. The two automatic doors are supposed to create an airlock to minimise heat loss so this needs fixing asap.

Had a full English breakfast here and it was the worst I've ever had. The mushrooms were either our of date or overcooked, I couldn't tell because I couldn't even cut them with my knife. The hash browns tasted strange and I didn't eat them, the eggs were slightly under cooked, the sausages and black pudding okay. The drinks machine only partially worked it seemed to be low on water. You can't make a cup of tea with your preferred amount of milk as the machine dispenses it into your cup and you end up with milky frothy crap tasting tea. The place didn't feel particularly clean. Won't be going back again. Thirsk is lovely however, and the White Horse over the road serve great fish and chips.
